Great people and service was outstanding. Had breakfast delivered, food and coffee was so good. It was lovely to watch the sun rise. Room was excellent and bed was so comfy, easy check in/out. Relaxed environment. We would highly recommend.
Location is perfect in queen street across the road is city hall.
Good location, super friendly chef at the Eatery restaurant for breakfast, and comfortable room
New modern hotel in the centre of Auckland, nice staff and good facilities.
Walking distance to lots of food and bars.
Very nice clean and modern and good value, restaurant great food
The hotel was very recently renovated and while the room we got was on the smaller side (as far as hotel rooms around the world go), it was modern and felt more cozy than cramped.
The service we received wasn't memorable, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Something worth considering is that the location isn't central and seemed right on the edge between city and suburbs so you had a 10 - 15 minute walk every time you wanted to get down to the night life/piers.
Everything you'd expect at Sheraton property. A bit of a pain if drive yourself die to the tight space.
Loved it staff were awesome churchill's gin bar awesome breakfast was nice and good location
Brand new and already making its mark in Auckland. Great staff and restaurant food is spectacular!!
Hotel is in a great location and is new. Rooms are clean but not very spacious.
It is a good hotel in a fantastic location. Hotel-wise, nothing to brag about - especially for supposedly a Category 5 Marriott.
The people are very nice. The breakfast is good but not spectacular. I compare this against all of the hotels I have visited in the past 12 months in which I spent 150 nights in various hotels.
Great location along Queens Street. Airport bus just outside hotel. New and clean room.
Friendly, well designed hotel in the central city. The mobility room on the 10th floor had a super high bed, very difficult to have a shower when the shower head faces the wall and it's too high to reach.
Should be a great hotel once the renovations are finished. They did a great job while we were there to cater for the renovation work. Thanks guys.
Very nice, the rooms are on the small side but are very modern and clean. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. Great location in the heart of the city.
Great location. Rooms are a tad small and not 5 star appointed.
This hotel offers a general good service and it is quite well situated. However, employees on the counter are not reliable at all. They can charge your credit card without giving you back a receipt. Never leave this hotel without checking out with a receipt. There is no way to contact them. Quite disappointing.
Hotel is located in CBD which made us convenient to walk around for shopping, dining. My room had a view of Auckland tower. Only cons was that it did not had parking available at their property and at times it was difficult to even drop off luggage as the hotel entrance had limited space for cars.
This was a wonderful stay, and concierge Harry was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered was delicious.
However, the air freshener used in the lobby is very overpowering .
They double charged us and had a hard time getting them to take the extra charge off
Room was very comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast was good. The top part of the hotel was still under construction when I was there which made the elevator a little slower and entering hotel more difficult. Location excellent for walking around downtown.
Well located hotel in the heart of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful helping us find a decent GF restaurant for us to have a late dinner. Rooms are spacious however the bathroom is a little small. Decor is modern business like
Comfort, nice and clean hotel in Auckland city, near to many halal food restaurant, easy from/to AKL airport by SKY Bus.
Great location . Right at the bus stop for the sky bus
Standard biz hotel with small room, no lounge for Marriott member though. Great service.
We stayed here a couple of times and each time had a good experience. The room was a good size and very clean. Comfortable beds. The restaurant/bar on the top floor was really nice, great views of course and good selection of food. Really good Pacific oysters. Location is good, top of Queen St., so easy walk to tons of restaurants and not even that far down Queen St. to the Ferry Building. Will be back.
Great hotel. The breakfast is really good, and staff are helpful
Clean decent sized room with massive windows for good views. Staff let us check in early which was utterly amazing
Sensational Wifi, Great modern rooms, good location in the city only a 2min walk to the main hussle and bussel
Smack on queens st. Very central. Great location. Rooms are well maintained, clean and tidy. Excellent hotel!
The hotel is as average as they get, however, the management is awful, they overbook, gave us someone else s room and didn t have enough housekeeping staff. Not a place to stay if u r looking for a smooth experience, never again!!!!
Good hotel and great location. Easy out of the city but still right close to the center
Bad check-in experience. The Bonvoy Gold Elite status was ignored at all. There was also no upgrade, although higher categories were available according to the website. Instead a very small standard room, right in front of the elevators. The rooms are modern, but there is hardly any space for two suitcases. The bathroom is flooded when showering. The air conditioning blows directly on the bed. The bed was comfortable. In the morning we were woken up by the construction site opposite.
Not open yet but looks like it's going to be really nice
Not worth the money! We moved away after spend one night here! The room was very small and not comfortable! It costs more than 300 New Zealand dollars for one night!
Overall I think the experience was good but a few little notes to make. Firstly I thought the staff was great, and food (especially breakfast) was above expectation. Things I didn't like was around the design of a new hotel - room was tiny, little consideration towards appropriate room lighting (positioning, colour, access to switches), and internal bathrooms lacking privacy if sharing with someone (frosted glass with gaps at top & bottom). Also reception called to tell me my laundry was ready but my room was displaying "do not disturb" - kind of defeated the purpose in using it!
Excellent room at a good price. Very helpful staff at every stage and a wonderful overall feeling to the whole place. Restaurant looked very good and was very convenient. the rooms were excellently furnished and had a very good range of services available.
Newly built hotel with spacious rooms, modern, clean and in a very convenient location. the restaurant offers nice dishes n decent prices and a nice breakfast buffet or coffee to and pastries to go.
Beautiful hotel with very professional and friendly staff. Stayed with our 2 children. Big thanks to Allan and Harry for making our stay enjoyable.
Nice rooms, good location, excellent service all around. The day wait staff in the restaurant were enthusiastic.
Wonderful hotel on Queen st and its close to everything! The skybus is right outside and takes you straight to the airport. The staff are all wonderful and even let me check in early (8am) after my long flight! The only downside is that the showers are only divided by a curtain and the floor gets super wet! But other than that a great hotel to stay at!
Be advised, the rooftop bar is not yet completed as of Nov 2018. Great spot, good food in restaurant and a fantastic staff. Good location. Newly opened and still under construction they are working hard to learn and get fully open it appears.
Staff are hit and miss, not very good at dealing with guest complaints. The bar on the top floor seems to prioritise locals over hotel guests
Decent room size;however, house keeping & over the counter services could be enhanced with attentiveness
The place is just ok. 3 star hotel. Parking was expensive 90nzd/night. But valet. So its okay. Room was ok. Bed was comfortable. Bathtub a bit small if to fit in 2.. No bidet..
Great central location and really nice hotel. Great fun bar
Someone has to give a proper review.
Location is good central
Hotel entrance steep and small drive way, even through we checked in at night time 9pm 2 person at the check in counter only one service, check in receptionist was very prompt and efficient. Room wise size was good, beds are comfortable, The Air Con vent is loud considering it is on the lowest already, bathroom considering it as a 4 star hotel I haven t seen one of these curtain showers in many years of staying at a 4-5 star hotel this was the only thing which made the room seem cheap like a motel, toilet paper is thin like public toilets. WIFI was free but disconnected often. Window blinds doesn t go right to the end which is annoying in the morning. Compared to other Four Points around the world this is very very average sorry but the designer for this property was very very average. I still believe the best international hotels are still in Asia. honest review :)
Four Points by Sheraton Auckland is located on Queen Street, the main street in the city centre. This is a good hotel for travelers, with a bus stop for Auckland Airport right in front of you.
It's been a few years since it opened, so the hotel is new and very clean. This time I stayed in a guest room called King. Guest room had a feeling of cleanliness and was very beautiful. All the necessary facilities are provided to make your stay comfortable.
For Japanese people, the only concerns are that there is no bathtub and that Japanese cannot be understood. Staff was friendly and it was a very nice hotel.
Very nice hotel, great bar and restaurant with very friendly and efficient be staff. The rooms are modern and we'll maintained.
Beautiful hotel from inside, right on the center of town. Walking distance to most of downtown auckland
We prepaid our stay using our Marriot Vacation Ckub points. Stay was ok. Until we got home and found an additional $400++ on our credit card charged. Essentially they charged us the whole stay a second time. I called the front desk and was initially told the person I was speaking could not access our billing. When manager eventually spoke with me, he was apologetic and I waited for him to reverse the charges on the spot. Their people are not on the same page!
Nice hotel in a convenient spot. They also have a great breakfast buffet with lots of options
Everyone was soo friendly and provide all services. Room was so clean and tidy. One think i don't like is rooms are not sound proof. People shouting on road and cars honking late night which disturbed me alot while sleeping otherwise best place to visit and staff really friendly.
Extremely modern and luxurious. The service is fantastic, and consists of what you would expect from an old film - "sir's", "mam's", opening car doors for you. At one point, a young man hurried after me to the elevator to press the button for me, because "it's what they do".
Worth every cent, stay here if you have the opportunity to do so.
Great hotel! I m pretty sure it s brand new or at least it seemed that way. The rooms were stylish, modern, and spacious. They also offered easy off-site parking for a reasonable fee (Auckland is just expensive, regardless). It s walking distance to just about everything cool downtown, and Uber was easy to use via WiFi.
We appreciated that they upgraded us to a room with an amazing view of the City Tower. It s seriously a gorgeous hotel!
New, modern and tidy with great location, close to the city, many restaurants next to the hotel but still heard the noise from the street even I stayed on the 8th floor. Staff were nice.
An amazing gin bar only bettered by the 180 degree spectacular view of Auckland's CBD and the harbour beyond. Suprisingly reasonable gin drink prices with more gins than you can poke a stick with!
Very comfortable stay and a nice easy walk to the city
Amazing 4.5 star Hotel with brilliant staff and soon to be opened Roof bar Luxurious, spacious, well furnished rooms with plenty amenities and great food and service at the Queens head bar and eatery, soon to be opened conference center, would recommend for people who are teaveling for business.
I booked and payed for 10 nights at this hotel and I was not happy. I was charged a $300 deposit on arrival or else they would not have let me check in.
After I checked out, they said it will take up to 10 days before I get my deposit back. Still waiting for my money! It does not seem fair that they can take money out straight away and not return it within 3 business days!
I was checked into a room with a beautiful view of a noisy jobsite across the road! The room was tiny with no balcony. I asked them to cancel the remaining 9 nights and they would not allow it and forced me to stay in a hotel I was not happy in.
The restaurant is overpriced and charging 3 hat prices! The entire menu was overpriced! A little v size can of wine from the bar fridge was $12 lol!
No tour companies would pick me up from the hotel so clearly something has happened for tour companies to refuse a pick up from four points.
They also didn't have brochures of different tours you can do in Auckland. You have to go down queen street to the ferry station to grab brochures and book things to do. Every hotel I have stayed in all over the world always has brochures so you can plan your activities and get picked up and dropped off at your hotel.
The hotel is marketed to very wealthy business people and airline staff. It's not for families.
I will never book at four points again and I will be sure to tell everyone about my horrible experience!
