Excellent Hotel, close to everything. The staff are so helpful.

Helpful staff, although some of our queries got a bit muddled. Gym was well-equipped and all facilities clean and tidy.

Clean and tidy rooms, comfortable beds, good service and plenty of options. It was a very good price and I did not expect the type of quality and great service I received. I didn t get a chance to try out the room service but the menu looked delicious. I m not really one to care but I did love the addition of an easy to follow nutritional guild on the menu. There was a lot of little things that I found to be a nice touches. Such as giving you different pillow option and explain the difference between each pillow. I was very happy with the over all experience and would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately however we did have a broken shower which was rather disappointing. Also we didn t have much of a view from our hotel room but I wasn t there for a view and for the price I was expecting much worse. The parking price was ridiculous but it is Auckland cbd.

I can recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice comfortable place to say in Auckland cbd and aren t looking to spend much.

Good location and nice large rooms. Breakfast service is good. Gym is just nice to get a quick workout done. Overall a very good experience.

Hotel staff were excellent. Hotel overall is quite nice. Wifi is very patchy in the corner rooms and could be improved. 1gb included WiFi allowance per day seems a bit low. Deluxe king room was a good size for short visits. Location is very convenient for visits to Skycity, viaduct and other central Auckland locations. Would happily stay again.

Central hotel with parking garage. The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast very good.

Hotel rooms were spacious. I got a double king room. Includes continental buffet breakfast.

Modern accomodation, located in city centre, walking distance to harbour, shops, bars, restaurants.
Great choice of food catering for all tastes.
Experienced Skye lounge which is free to those in specific rooms. This is open just for a couple of hours but awesome way to start your evening with great choice of freshly made buffet food and drinks for all tastes.

Was shown extreme kindness and professional efficiency when stranded in Auckland...the food was divine and the bed comfortable...

Very nice hotel. Friendly service. The rooms are nicely done and a decent size. Recommend the buffet breakfast. Great scrambled eggs. Would stay here again

Clean yet slightly dated rooms. Very good and friendly staff.

The rooms are very big with twin beds. There were all the amenities which one needed. Even guest laundry room with complimentary washing powder was available.

Accomdation is good and location is great. Can do better with service and if they are part of IHG then should make sure they meet their commitments to IHG members.

Well situated. Short walk to the harbour precinct and sky tower. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient parking in the adjacent public parkade. $24/day or $10/day on PH. Get your ticket validated at the front desk. Well equipped gym. Room was clean but curtains and carpets need a redo. Bathroom was old and tacky - shower curtain in bath! Overall well priced.

Great location, hotel room & amenities ok. Stay if the rate is cheap, otherwise the grand at Skycity is better.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient to restaurants and shopping in the central business district. Both of the hop on hop off tours are within easy walking distance. I could not be more pleased with my stay here.

I really enjoy staying at the Crowne when I am in NZ. Service very good rooms are standard but serviced well. Breakfast has a good selection however, they need to work on keeping the food hotter because it was either luke warm or cold. Coffee is good. Great location being close to everything.

We stayed in an executive suite on the top floor. The suites have two levels within them, making the room(s) large and very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom is particularly spacious, with a comfortable bed and huge bathroom. It has floor to ceiling glass doors that open to a very large private balcony that offers tremendous views of the Auckland skyline and just a peak of water. Others have noted the dated feel of the furniture and they're right about that. I've stayed in other similar properties in the Auckland CBD and the Crowne Plaza isn't alone in this criticism, but they could stand an update. Of genuine concern, though, was the state of cleanliness of the room. A large mound of hair was in the drain of the shower, other loose hairs were found under "clean" drinking glasses. Also, the espresso maker was on the fritz. Though the coffee maker issue is certainly a "first-world problem", the room is marketed as a high-end space and details like this ought to be addressed. The front desk service as well as the baggage assistance was incredibly fast, polite, and responsive. The bags were deposited in the room before we could even finish checking it and we were cheerfully offered a late check out when requested. All in all, I liked my stay here, but think a more thorough scrubbing of the room would be in order.

The buffet breakfast was AMAZING. Had a conference here which was well suited accommodating and the lunches where extremely delicious.

Would definitely stay here again as it's Central, short walk to the shopping district and plenty of takeaway food outlets around.

Nice view and room but walls were very thin and we can hear everything in the next room. Also some noisy guests stayed in the balcony around 2am and started talking. We couldn t sleep but the hotel fortunately intervened.

I just have to do a big shout to Scania (concierge) slash everything!! She had the best customer service skills while I stayed there Tuesday just gone.. It s very rare to have the serviced she offered me and for that she made me feel like family of the hotel .. Thank you thank you also thank you Crowne Plaza

Room was good. Restaurant does an excellent breakfast, but nearby restaurants are better choices for other meals.

Only stayed here one night before we flew back home but a very comfortable room. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice and good quality, I would highly recommend adding it to your room if not included. Nice gym as well.

Nice facilities.yummmmy food, just finished a weekend conference there & EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER we interacted with was amazing!!!!!!!! We were all so so so taken care of & for that we are really truly thankful.
