Good hotel. Check in took a while and the overcharging for early check in is a bit of a steel - if the room is free, just give it to the guest.

Really disappointed. Heating system was not working in room and it took 10 minutes of playing around with the thermostat by the staff of the hotel to get it to start working - and even then very weakly. Next morning took forever for hot water to start flowing in the taps - and even then only non-cold. My room was at the end of corridor but that should not have mattered.

I love staying at a Sheraton. This hotel is so perfectly located. It's location couldn't have been better. We use the train system from the hotel and you don't even have to walk outside. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are well maintained and clean.
I sleep like a baby and couldn't hear any noise from being so close to the airport

Nice hotel and really near to schiphol airport. They have connecting route to just direct you to the hotel easily. Just look up around on the sign board. You will find direction where you have to go to get this hotel.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The washrooms are also clean. I took the without breakfast option so not sure of the food.
I sorely missed a water heater kettle in the room. Else the room was perfect.

Hotel and staff very nice. Extremely convenient to stay here as it is attached to airport.
The room needs a little tlc and mattresses need changing as they are very, very soft.

Shower is very small.
Restaurant, Stripes, waa expensive but very good.

Excellent facility. Clean rooms. Attractive design. Good food.

The rooms are nice, but the staff is not welcoming at all, and the sound isolation between rooms is so poor, that you should only stay here if you like to discover the most intimate secrets of random strangers. Otherwise, Citizen M next door offers much better value. Also... there's a queue for check out.

Things I didn't like:

Staff at lounge/lounge/friendliness and accommodating overall/ RAW EGGS during breakfast!

I booked a club room for 2 nights. I requested early check-in, which they accepted. I got a upgrade to king's room with airport view on 7th floor, which is close to club lounge on 8th.

The room looks decent, but considering this is a upgraded clubroom, not that impressive. Same goes for airport view.

The room lacks kettle, so you need to walk back to elevator and get coffee and tea or water for noodle cups.

I didn't need a keycard to access the lounge. I was greeted by two ladies at the counter. One was lounging on the chair. Both weren't very friendly nor accomodating.

The breakfast setup was basic and standard, but I found the croissant and other pastries very tasty.

They provided hard boiled eggs and soft-boiled, I choose soft.

When I crack open the egg I could see the egg white still jiggling inside the egg. I put the whole egg on a plate and showed to Dutch girl.

She ignored the fact I have raw egg on the plate and pointing out they provide soft boiled and hard boiled. As if I don't know the difference between the two, my concern was that I had raw egg on my plate!
I cracked another one and same raw egg whites.

On the ground floor you find a health club, which consists of gym area and spa area including wet and dry sauna.

After staying two days I find the staff at the club lounge not very consistent. I found the boys/men staff much more friendly and accommodating than the girls/women counterparts.

At the checkout, the staff didn't ask for my stay or greeted me after I left.

This hotel is more than fine for those just in transit and needs a place to stay in emergency.

For SPG members I don't recommend this place!

Very pleasant, clean, nicely located (at Amsterdam Schiphol airport)

This hotel is the perfect place to stay when transiting through Amsterdam. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are big by European standards and most importantly they are available upon check in. The attached shopping area has everything you would need in the way of services. This is our hotel of choice.

Wonderfully comfortable beds. We didn't go to the fancy restaurant downstairs but we went to their cafe and the food is quite decent if a little pricey. Rooms are clean.

Comfortable and spacious hotel with decent restaurant, bar and conference facilities, connected to the train station at the airport by a pedestrian overpass. Good breakfast buffet. Well insulated windows, so I didn't hear the planes or traffic, but I experienced noise from several slamming doors in the hotel early in the morning.

Great restaurant and nice bar. Walking distance from flight and train terminals makes this a perfect place to conduct business meetings. Like always I wished that it could be possible to open a window in the room, but that's of course impossible to change in an "in terminal" lodging like this.

Solid hotel when you have an early flight and need a place to crash the night before. Rooms are clean and in good shape. Service is iffy and it took 40 minutes to get a replacement iron delivered to my room.

This hotel is located at a very convenient place. The facility is pretty new and well equipped. We had breakfasts and happy hours in this hotel, which is a good value for the amount of money spent. The other advantage is that the train station is nearby by walking distance to city center.

Fantastic hotel. Really, one of the best hotels for convenient access to transportation. We utilized this hotel for business meetings, and the location was really important. When in country for less than 24 hours, it is so convenient. The rooms were clean, restaurant and bar good, and staff exceptional. Business travelers to Amsterdam need to have this on their short list.

Super nice location, adjacent to the departure hall. Really a business hotel, but a top hotel if you want to spend the night very close to the airport. If you have a transfer, you can certainly spend the night here.

The place is awesome! It s super near to airport and the service is great.
But...if you can offer single room that will be perfect!

Very convenient location just a short walk away from the airport or the train station it is connected to. This hotel offers a wide variety of options for dining around the airport. One of my favorite locations if your traveling through Amsterdam and only have a short layover.

I guess the Sheraton speaks for itself, it being a most renowned chain of hotels. But to add something to this review, I'll simply say it lives up to its always uotstanding quality. The meeting rooms are elegant and comfortable, the food is delicious (they have a neat little buffet in the main hall), and the staff are pleasant as per usual. Great place for meetings or quick visits to Amsterdam as it's 2 mins. away on foot from the arrivals terminal.

Very nice and beautiful view from the top of the hotel.

I stay at the Sheraton at CDG when traveling through there. This one is nicer and a less costly. A bit of a walk from the terminal, but still easy access. It is a nice break after 24 hours of airports and planes.

Lovely Hotel.
The food and drinks are expensive but if you pop into the airport you can get drinks and food much cheaper

The Sheraton Hotel is located directly opposite the Amsterdam Schiphol terminal building

Located right next to AMS airport. Friendly staff and good selection of whisky and drinks. Ideal for a quick catch up with friends in between flights.

Great 1 night option close to the airport. 7 miles from downtown. The food at The Gate restaurant is to die for. The grill items are recommended. For those that are cost conscious the airport food hall is 2 min walk under cover.

Caraca and close to the airport and easily located to other locations, very comfortable room, with free internet. Only food that is very expensive is worth going out and eating at the airport.

Average. No amenity kit in bathroom. Waiting 1.5hours for it to be delivered. Not the Sheraton I was expecting.

Lovely place to stay, not noisy even though you are right by the airport, its very busy, just a 10 minute train ride into the centre of Amsterdam.

Had a long layover in Amsterdam and needed a place to crash for the day. I was able to get a room immediately and checkout went smoothly as well. Definitely nice you have a bed to sleep in after an international flight and the bed was very comfortable.

I arrived at 1 am and my daughter coughed and brought me honey and tea. The flight departs late in the afternoon, so the checkout is extended to 3:00. I was impressed. If you come to Amsterdam again, Sheraton!

Missed the connecting aircraft at AMS - LYS. Check in at the Sheraton and spend a beautiful night.

Best place to stay if you have an early flight out the next day! At the airport and convenient to train station and ground transportation!

Hotel is a 5 minute walk from arrivals, you don't have to leave the airport as it's connected.

Receptionists were polite and friendly, checking in process was smooth.

The room included a fridge, large flat screen TV, bottle of water and lots of other nice little touches, first time I have stayed at the Sheraton and won't be the last!

Was here for a few short work-related visits. The atrium floor with adjacent meeting rooms is a stimulating environment. Nice bar with good service.

A little pricey for what you get, but it has ice machines! The staff is very friendly

Convenient location and access to the airport.
Room floor coffee bar... Free coffee, tea bags available.
There are also ice machines that offer ice cubes and self-service drink vending machines.

great location for meetings because it is a short distance from the Schiphol gates.

Well worth it if you have very early flight. As there is a train station at the airport, you can quickly go to other cities to take a last walk. I recommend Rotterdam, which has an express train leaving the airport

This hotel is nice and attached to one end of the airport so it is very convenient. We did have a bit of trouble finding it, had to ask a man emptying trash bins and he kindly showed us. Not the hotel's fault, we found the airport very badly marked. The restaurant was very nice and we had a view of the airport from our window.
