Typical Sheraton Hotel directly attached to the airport. Access to the train station is conformable as well. Interior is in good condition and staff is friendly. The price is generell very high.

Typical high class Sheraton hotel walking distance from the terminal at Schopol. High standars, friendly and polite staff. Did not get a chance to eat at the hotel diner, but there are plenty to of restaurants and fast food courts at the nearby terminal and train station of Schipol. Excellent for overnight stay in transit!

Top!

Great location for meetings, well-kept lunch and the location is very easily accessible. Wifi is good and stable (important for certain IT training courses), I hope Microsoft NL will use this location more often.

Location wise, it does not get better than the Sheraton if you are flying out of Schiphol. About a 5 minute walk and it is all indoors, so in winter this is a luxury. Returned the rental car the previous evening and all I had to do was checkout and walk over to the airport.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of pillows and the bed is very comfortable to get a good nights rest. Cannot open the windows which is a pain. Many European hotels have the problem of a thick down comforter that is too warm for winter and no possibility of opening the window to cool down the room. The AC only goes down to 18C or so.

WiFi is a major hassle. Constantly have to sign back in each time your computer goes to sleep. Complete nuisance. This is 2018 Sheraton, can we make this easier? There is technology out there.

Bathroom is spacious and well appointed with nice set of amenities. They could have made the shower a little larger. Though the bathroom has both a tub and a shower, I would imagine that 85% of the guests end up using the shower. So it is a bit of the tail wagging the dog situation as the tub is big and grand and the shower is on the small side.

Did not eat breakfast so cant comment on that. There is a station on each floor for Coffee and Tea. This is well done with plenty of choices. Only thing that was not available is milk. They just have the powder stuff.
Had a business dinner at the restaurant. A nice selection of traditional dutch dishes and international ones. Practically everything we tried was very good and presented very nicely! Quiet and very suitable for a business meal. Rather pricey, so be prepared for that. The braised Veal that I had was exquisite! Service was prompt and friendly.

Great service, and polite friendly staff, however wasnt to keen on the breakfast but being a chef and fussy was prob more down to me than the food, would recommend the stay, large clean rooms with oversize bed and a bath.

Runway Cafe Food and Ambience Poor
I feel slightly harsh in saying poor as the warm chicken roll and cheese/tuna melt we had were cooked ok and the waiting staff were polite. If I d paid a few euros for them at a takeaway stall I d be leaving three stars for the tuna melt which was a bit dry and four for the chicken.
One doesn t expect the Sheraton bar to be cheap, but when you pay nearly 30 euros for two sandwiches then you do expect that they will be made with good ingredients and presented well.
In fact the tuna melt is made with tinned tuna rather than fresh so total ingredient cost to the Sheraton must be about 1 Euro. The chicken roll was actually well prepared and made with chicken breast.
What really let both down was the presentation. Not a little bit of sliced tomato, gherkin or a sprig of parsley was allowed to interfere with the we just bought some sandwiches in Albert Heijn heated them up and chucked them on a plate look that the Sheraton seemed to be going for. We hadn t ordered additional salad or fries as we were only after a very light meal ( 3.60 each if we had by the way). But for a catering establishment to serve sandwiches without any garnish when charging 13 each is bizarre.
There was also really inappropriate loud music playing. I ve got wide music tastes including some pretty raucous stuff, but when stopping for a quick meal in an expensive hotel cafe/bar/restaurant I don t usually expect to have to speak excessively loud over electro-rap.
My partner and I are both very well travelled and used to eating everywhere from award winning high end restaurants to grabbing a bite of street food. I ve worked in a variety of catering jobs in my time from burger bars to high end hotels (I've even prepared sandwiches in a bar in a high end hotel so have some idea how it should be done). In none of these would the food presentation we had today have been acceptable and the music would have at least been considered questionable even in the burger bar.
This is really basic stuff. Sheraton have been doing this for years and one wonders how on earth they are messing up now. Even when my partner pointed out that we were dissatisfied, in answer to the standard "was everything OK?" question, there was no comeback other than an "Oh" and an awkward shrug. If staff are trained to ask if everything is OK then they should be trained in how to deal with a negative reply.

What a great hotel! We walked across the street to the airport mall with lots of food choices, clothing and souvenirs, too. The hotel was very quiet, the bed was comfortable and the staff was on the ball. We would choose this same hotel on our next journey to Amsterdam!

We staid in room 515. Hotel was nice. Room was clean. Nice amenities. There shower would not drain. Reported to desk and they said they would send maintenance up to look at it or change our room. We chose to send maintenance as we were there only for 1 night. We went to eat and when we returned were told the issue was fixed. Shower still would not drain. There was also a loud buzzing noise randomly throughout the night that kept waking me up. Reported on checkout next day and was contacted by manger. If it wasn't for shower and the buzzing the stay would have been great.

We went to the Runway lounge for breakfast at the Sheraton. The service was ok. They have several plugs and lots of space so that you can conduct conferences and other online business while aeating and most of all it is quiet.

Been to the restaurant / bar that is accessible from the terminal. Good was good, but service was terrible. Bunch of young folks that came to the table initially, but after that we had to go to the bar every time off we wanted something. They had 5 tables with people and were 4 staff, later 5. They were sitting in a corner behind the bar chatting. Took us 40 minutes to order...

Fantastic Sheraton, I had just tried to bring 2 guests by taxi to you. Unfortunately you keep all taxis at the barrier, so the men have now booked 2 rooms at CitizenM. We were welcome there.

As you expect from Sheraton. I arrived late, checking in took a little extra time, but I got an excuses. Good bed. I slept in so did not check out the breakfast. Also did forget to take pictures this time. If you do not want to worry about missing a flight, good option. But it cost a bit more. I paid 170.
