I really love the place itself. I've always had great gigs here. Tonight the sound wasn't the best one but I know that there could be many different reasons.
I'm sure you'll enjoy your event here!

The worst gig venue I have ever been! They over sell the stalls standing so its rammed packed in there. Cant see anything unless you queued all day. Security are the worst and I say that with industry knowledge and experience.

It's a good venue, but they need to learn a thing or two about crowd control. I went to see the MC50 anniversary tour, and I was at the front as I am such a huge fan. It was spoiled for many of us at there because there was one drunken idiot violently slam dancing into us all. This tour was a 50th anniversary tour, and as you might expect there were a lot of people there who are quite mature (50+ and more) and many were women. We did not appreciate being forcefully sent flying in all directions because of some intoxicated moron. I saw that at least 5 people complained to the bouncer about him. All that was done was the bouncer spoke to him very briefly to tell him to calm down, which he ignored within seconds. It's such a shame as the band were great and this came close to ruining the night for me. They should take lessons from the Electric Ballroom, as their doormen were excellent - they quickly removed troublemakers with a total minimum of force or fuss. I hope they sort this out, as everything else about the venue was fine; and this would put me off going again.

Nice choice of drinks inside, clean loos, small intimate venue. Sound is pretty good everywhere. They have steps at the back, and some seats up stairs. Don't do a VIP experience here, complete waste of money and time.

Good concert venue. Small enough that you feel close to the band, but big enough to provide good atmosphere.
Pretty flat on the ground floor so shorter people could have a hard time seeing in some places

Save on cloakroom tickets in cold weather its freezing in there!! Keep your coat on. Poor selection of drinks No real ale, could at least have some decent bottled ales, wouldn't go again, had one rubbish lager then went to Wetherspoons afterwards

The performance was excellent with good acoustics. However the cheap seats at the top of the theatre, really are cheap and uncomfortable and quite a height, some way from the stage...or maybe I am just getting old and need glasses?

Generally the venue is nice, staff friendly but did not like the queue organisation. There were 3 queqes, one was priority queue for o2 customers, one normal queue and the third one for people on the balcony. At the time the doors were supposed to open, the security opened doors for priority and normal queue at the same time, which doesn't really make sense (?) and people that came much later got in earlier than people who queued for hours.
