service is awful . sat down . 30 min later no service so i go to the bar . takes 15 min to pour me a beer . oh wait then the waitress comes to us an hour later asking if we wanna see a menu ?! cmon guys be better . people are sitting her waiting for service and i ve seen multiple people walk out . otherwise the venue is awesome . only reason i give two stars . service is horrible

Resort is nice, but front desk did not know what entertainment was going on. We found out about a private party being the entertainment unit 11pm and we were expecting the rest of the guests to have entertainment thereafter until 3am but it didn't happen.

Fun location with a more fun club

EDIT: Changing my 5 star review to a 1 star review. I attended Shephard's again for the Tchami show with my family and had a decent experience up until the end when I was attacked by a cop for no good reason. A bartender told him I didn't pay for a drink. I had been going to that exact bar the entire night, working with the same bartenders, laughing with them. Until a dimwitted one stepped in and accused me of not paying for my drink. I got back to my family when all of the sudden some short cop grabbed me and started yelling at me and grabbing me even more. When I stepped back in shock he put his hand on his gun and was scared for my life at that point because I had known I'd done nothing wrong. Luckily my girlfriend's father who is an older, white man literally stepped in and made the cop take his hands off me before telling him we had been there all night with a tab in his name. Regardless of whatever they thought had happened that was the absolute worst way to handle it. That guy was ready to shoot me over that one drink I was accused of taking. We had spent around $300. Last time attending that deathtrap, I value my life more than that to put it at risk in a place with no formal security, who don't know how to how to treat paying customers and have volatile cops grabbing people over accusations. Wpuld rate 0 stars if I could. Thanks but no thanks

Night club onsite, live music, bar, walking distance to restaurants, nice public beach and own private little beach also.

Went to a festival here. Great accommodation and the pool was fantastic

Don't do it. Worse experience ever. Not a family place. Room had tile, was dirty, and smells of old smoke and pine sole. A/C was loud, but not loud enough to drown out the nightclub. Music bass can be heard everywhere till 3am. Pool area is tiny with chunks of hair floating (wish I was kidding). They play dance music (edm) the entire day extremely loud. This is a hotel you rent at spring break with 6 other people and don't care about anything else but drinking and partying. Stay away. Go to the Hampton inn...

Except a competent talent scout to find a voice for their commercials. Lowest budget commercials for an attraction of this place's experience and reputation. Cough it up, and get an advertising company. I recommend Dunn & Co, or another equally talented, Tampa-based marketing firm. Otherwise, people may think your resort and outdoor attraction may be as low budget as the commercials make it out to be.

I met friends who were in town for a wedding. The pool area is smallish but very nice, huge bar w lots of specials and they have a beach... I didn't experience much else. Lunch salad was good, mojo chicken sandwich was dry...

Visited the nightclub last night 9/30. I was wearing a blueline hat and the racist toilet attendant wouldn't let me use the restroom until my black friend saw what was happening and asked what was going on. I will not be returning, and toilet man needs to be fired.

You will not find a more superb Buffet in Florida! The food is outstanding and the atmosphere luxurious. A real treat.

Great prices for the location. Love Clearwater Beach...it is the BEST beach!!

Had a great time celebrating my friends 50th birthdays. It was hard to go back to the cold of Massachusetts

This is one of the BEST all in 1 resorts offering live entertainment, DJs, private beach, outstanding drinks and great food!

Went to a concert on the beach and had an absolute blast.

Room was great, staff as well, location and easy access to beaches, and the pool, recreational fun things to do was to notch, 4th floor balcony was huge recommend ,we will definitely be back ....happy Florida resident from east coast

Still staying for another two days but let down big time. Music bumping in your room over our tv well late into the night. Food and beer WAY over priced! Kinda expected. Staff asked us to leave live music area for our children s safety when we were sitting in the same spot 2 hrs. earlier with no problems. Sorry excuse because they started getting busier. The elevators did not work the first two days and only one works now but plan on waiting a long time for it. Oh they also surprised us with a $100 resort fee at the beginning of our trip. For what we paid and spent on this vacation I would say it was not worth it! Actually if it was half off I d still spend my money elsewhere. You ve been warned

Mediocre seafood. Crab legs weren't horrible but we were not impressed :( 35$ a person.. not worth it!

Sunday brunch on the beach. Great selection of food choices. Fresh seafood, salads, desserts and more. View from patio seating.

Stayed 5 days. Never had anyone clean my room. Had to ask multiple times for toilet paper and towels. Rooms were ok. Nothing great for the price. Had to pay $25 to sit on beach. Paying guest should get special treatment but anyone can come in And get same.

Attended a wedding here, the food was great, the wait staff was friendly. Overall a nice experience

The truth is that the hotel is fine, but I think that after noticing how a person fell from the 5th floor and died, they should take security measures and place mayas or something so that that does not happen since people consume a lot of liquor in the place. It is a family hotel for nothing

Although it was smaller than expected, we had a party of 8 and everyone was comfortable. We were pretty satisfied with the meals (except the nachos which were soggy). The service was good and the prices were also reasonable.

The view & sunset spectacular.The buffet was nowhere near as good as it used to be. Disappointed!

Very pleasant works ..friendly bartenders always helpful ..the cleaning ladies very sweet and kind...never been ro that part of Florida....enjoyed my time there..thanks

Atmosphere is great, definitely a place you would want to party if they didn't dilute their liquor. We ordered 3 shots and none were the liquor that was labeled on the bottle. We know because it's our go to drink and the taste and quality didnt match the liquor. The way the bodies reacted to this liquor further implies we drank a different liquor than we drank before we left for the club. Please be careful at this place. A random guy grabbed me aggressively and attempted to kiss me twice before I was able to break away the most disgusting and scariest experience of the vacation.

Always enjoy staying here when visiting Clearwater.

For the price you pay you would think the accommodations would be better. You have to chase things down. Waited over an hour for luggage to be brought to the room. Not enough coffee in rooms and the Buffet is not worth the price...the food leaves a whole lot to be desired!

Food is not to bad. Drinks are good. Right on the beach. Entertainment is always good too. Haven't stayed at the hotel so not sure about that aspect of it.

Clean, great service, nice beach and views. The entertainment at night is fun.

Cool place, not only because of party stage, Tikibar, disco and beach but also because of friendly staff, nice clean rooms and well maintained pool and best location

The rooms were okay. The sliding door was jammed and the bathroom was not 100% clean and usually hotels would have tea and coffee but all we found was coffee and the front desk claimed that there was tea but lied. Now for the worst part we paid for the breakfast buffet and it said that it comes with omelettes when my dad asked for one the chef said No these are only for room service and he said it in a very rude manner and a very bad part was the drinks. Usually when you say breakfast it includes beverages like tea coffee and juice but they charged extra for it. Now the pool was great but at the pool area there were some cabanas and those we for rent. What hotel global does that?!!! And for the private beach the umbrellas and chairs were 25$ each. Horrible hotel I would never recommend shepherds for relaxing. My family and I will never go there ever again.

Shepherd's Beach Resort is a nice spot for rest and relaxation. The weather being finicky isn't a worry when you have this beautiful resort to relax in away from the rain and crowded Clearwater Beach!

Love Shepherds for this music, beach, staff and all around great times, our hang out!

The resort itself was GREAT. The view was phenomenal and the atmosphere was charged and happy. This is not a place you come to relax though. It is loud and fun. I gave it a 3 because the bed was horrible and the only downside I was in room 610. Otherwise, everything from the restaurants to the live entertainment was absolutely great.

Paid for valet parking. We asked if we would be able to purchase passes to just the pool, employee pretended to talk to manager, came back to us and tried to charged $20 per person. 10/15/16 @ around 2pm.

Really fun place for an evening of dancing or relaxing by the water. They know how to throw a great party.

Best thing about it here..is the ability to go from pool to beach easily...with kids they can flip flop between the two with ease...the pull put bed is horrible...we had to stack the couch cushions under the sheet to make it a "bed" bc the coils were sticking thru the mattress...pool side still had bottles and garbage from night b4...towels for pool dont come till after 9.so if ur waiting to "reserve" ur pool seat with towels...and u actually have to be somewhere...u have to wait ...every day...1 waitress for whole pool area..and 1 bartender who accommidates pool ppl..and walk up bar ppl...not always the friendliest either....oh and the elevator has been broken the whole time....so u have to take stairs....i have to say..very disappointed in our stay here....

Great place to have a few cold beverages and listen to live music. Bring your dancing shoes!

Over priced the ribs were chewy, the prime rib was dry, across the board its not worth the prices.. harvest fresh in the hard rock kills this place by far!!

Nice place, very friendly staff. Large rooms with newer decor, even a microwave in a basic room. Great views of course. Buffet at the restaurant was excellent

Can't go wrong with shepards. Always live music even during covid19. Love this place and I go often even with my boat or a jetski

80% guys, dj had no mixing ability, I never heard so many remixes to Taylor Swift and Adele.

Saturday night the music was pretty good. However the floors are always soaked with drinks and because it isn't an actual dance floor you slip everywhere. They are asking for someone to get hurt. 21+ side is better because it is a bigger area and food

Great stay, we had a blast, they had 7 bars and lots of music! The private beach was breath taking, the all u can eat breakfast and seafood was wonderful! We will be back! If you dont like to party and like loud music this isnt the place for u!

Excellent dinner. Very pricey but a great meal and good selection.

Loved our experience. We were aware music played by the pool until 2am, however no one mentioned the night club. Our room was vibrating until 2am. . . That wasn't so pleasant.

Stayed there while my husband was attending business meeting. Unfortunately there was a jackhammer bring used during some remodeling that definitely ruined some of the beach relaxation I was hoping for. Other than that, it was a great time. We stayed in the Sand Key Tower and could absolutely hear the live music at night in our room so if you want quiet- request the Gulf Tower. Friendly staff, great drinks and food. We plan on going back on our own.

Its nice. I got often. First time the crowd was a little older.

Nice hotel and great rice. We.checked in yesterday. We had reservation for two rooms one for 6 nights & one for 7. When we Checked in the first room it had an awful smell like Indian curry food. Two days later after management claim they had the Ozone machine in the room no different, We have to leave the balcony door open just to tolerate the smell. The manager said he s sorry. He s not the one sitting in the room smelling and having their clothes smell like curry. I m not one to complain but lack of customer service would not let me refer anyone here or come back. I would NOT recommend this place room to anyone!
