It was a great week until the second to last day I slip by the bar at the pool area a d hurt my knee I told the manager Steve to but wet floors signs out he told me to use common sense you are at a pool so we don't need wet floors signs so the manager was rude this resort will be get a call from.my lawer

I love Shepard's... I have a great time when l come to Florida

Three stars for the room and five stars for the pool and nightlife. There is a band or dj playing every single night which was great!

Great place. Live entertainment (good quality) all the time with a huge LED TV as the back drop. Customer service and bartenders are very friendly. Lot of bars and seating to soak up the sun.

This place is for adults, if you are not 21 and over and like to drink then you are at the party spot if you don't get kicked out by being a stupid drunk ...

Just want to say shepherds is the best resort! The pool, the bars, it s got it s own beach and the rooms are beautiful! Jose at the front desk couldn t be nicer!!!!! Todd the bartender was awesome! The staff is so friendly! This will always be our go to place not just because it s such a great resort but also because of the friendly staff

Enjoyed the outside live music & atmosphere. Had a great time!

Went for the seafood buffet. UNLIMITED crab legs alone was worth it. Highly recommend.

Shepards Beach Resort is a lovely hotel. It had great live music, the rooms are clean and modern, and the staff was generally good. One complaint, we did not get the king room we booked, but the staff attempted to fix the issue quickly. The beach side of the hotel was loud at night as well.

The hotel is fine but you will be charged $150 security deposit that claims you will be refunded when you leave. Mine never was, and I called them 5 times regarding it and they always said my bank was holding it and when I contacted my bank, said there was nothing pending and the hotel hadn't issued it. I called them again and gave them my banks fax number and the manager said that's all she could do and there's nothing else I can do.That's ridiculous. Whatever, plenty of other beautiful hotels on the strip that are worth going to instead of this one.

Great hotel, nice and clean rooms with fantastic live music. Cori together with Jeff are the best barkeeper in the world. Hint: macho nachos with watermelon mojito, just amazing!

Very nice hotel resort. Quiet rooms, direct access to the beach, heated pool, live music, fun atmosphere. Rooms with the city view felt more private than the beach view rooms.
All valet parking made coming and going quickly a bit of a pain. TV was tiny and they were a bit stingy on the pillows. Overall, we would stay again.

Great service! Bartender stuck it out through the monsoon and got us warm towels!

The manager rosemary was so rude and absolutely disgusting. i asked her where the bathroom was since she was a familiar face, while she was busy. A simple easy question to answer, and she screamed in my face infront of everyone. I ve been to this location many times and she acts very sketchy i don t trust her. check her shepard s!!

Please be aware of the promoters for the events here. they are filming girls at these event without knowing about it . Please be aware of the offers they try to offer to these girls that are under the influence of drinking or on drugs.

Only went to the eat, food was good. Dessert bar was the best. All you can eat crab legs worth the $10. Sit outside!

We booked a reservation for our family vacay. Relatives from the area warned us about red tide so we decided to cancel the reservation and stay more on the other coast. Cancelling it was a NIGHTMARE! The first time I called, Monica was completely rude to me and acted like I was inconveniencing her. Then I spoke to the bank who said the hotel in fact DID NOT refund the money like I was told by them. I called back to the hotel, and then spoke to a manager who was also RUDE! And he acted like I was wrong for telling him how rude Monica was! Like I was insulting his employee. In all reality, she had a horrible attitude problem and he seemed to be okay with it. After arguing about the refund, because he said it was processed, he interrupted me the entire conversation and blamed it on the bank. Needless to say, the bank has to dispute the charge and fight for my refund! What a joke. So glad we didn t actually stay there. I can t imagine it to have truly good hospitality considering they couldn t even be considerate on a phone call!

It was a very happening place! If you go to bed before 2am your going to hear the band for sure in your room

Great place for a concert. Sound was perfect and screen behind the band was top notch.

From the moment my husband and I set foot on the property, we were blown away! Check in was so easy and everyone was very helpful! The room they gave us was actually an upgraded to a view of the gulf on the top floor with the most amazing view of the pool and beach! All of the bartenders, staff, and especially security did a phenomenal job at making us feel welcome and safe. We will definitely be coming back and making this our vacation spot!

the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Kenneth with a great personality. he was VERY friendly and was VERY helpful with all the questions we had. even though it was cold and everything was closed besides the indoor bar, I really recommend this resort, it had such a pretty view and great service! definitely staying here again when it warms up to get the full experience.

Even though I went while covid was still wreaking havoc I enjoyed the pool, private beach area room size. Was able to sit on the balcony and watch the pool and ocean while hearing the music and watch the large video screen!

Jazzy Jeff was great. Very fun spot for spring break.

Very clean. Well organized staff!! Extremely friendly!!! Fair prices!!!!! Private beach and pool!!! Water sports right on the private beach!! Excellent location to everything!!!!! Just know, everything costs extra money!! A chair on the beach is $12/day. 2 chairs and an umbrella is $30/day!!! You can use your own!!!! Very crowded!!!! Great night life!! Live bands, tiki bar on the beach!!!! Valet parking!!! You really will not want for anything!!!! It's all provided!!!!! Highly recommend!! Pool is handicapped accessible!! Beach is not. Good for a night or your week vacation!!!!

The performers were mediocre and the music was all over the place, and the bartender walked away when we asked about specials. Good atmosphere on the beach.

My family took me there for mother's day, food was good dessert table was awesome! Sooo many people and we went early, about 5pm. By the time we left there was a line around the buffet table, & the buffet table aren't that big! I would go again for maybe brunch, never a day like that again. it was very appreciative but craziness

This is a great place! View atmosphere, music dance floor and staff.

The hotel is very beautiful and clean. Great outdoor restaurants and bars. Thursday thru Sunday, live band. Friday night band and dj played all types of great music, had everyone dancing outdoors. The two things I didn't like were the lights in the bathroom, terrible for applying makeup and no full length mirror. Other than that, the restaurant served amazing food, especially the grass fed burgers. The drinks were on point. The pina coladas and margaritas were insanely delicious. Compliments to our server Chris who made our stay so lovely! We spent majority of our time on the beach and he was so sweet, kind and attentive. If you're looking for a great server on the beach, Chris is the guy. Matt in the beach chair guy. He's wonderful if you're looking to get set up on the beach or go jet skiing. Always so kind and cool! Thanks for making our stay extra special. We'll def be back.

We just walked over for dinner, we were staying next door, they had loud music playing, we could barely hold a conversation and hear each other, the tables are crammed together so you are constantly knocking the person behind you. It's a buffet style dinner and you have to weave your way through maybe a 1.5 or 2 ft aisle where various people have their chairs out in the small aisles. The food did not impress any of us, especially seeing how there was only 3 of us and before tip it was $138.00. Totally ridiculous, especially if you consider the next evening we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Crabbys for a third of that. It was a real disappointment.

Beautiful rooms with awesome views.Nice staff. I would have gave them a five stars but i gotten a food charge to my room that my wife and i know we did not do but all in all a great vacation.

Not a guest but had dinner at the Shephard's Open Flame restaurant. Staff was really personable and accommodated our large group exceptionally well!

Great waterfront view. Buffet style. Quality was average.

Be ready to be up all night because the night club downstairs bass will keep you up until 3:00 am.

I had it as 5 stars. I have to downgrade my rating based on changes to the food menu. Quality has gone down. DO NOT get the chicken finger!! Not sure why they changed neither is the staff

Loved the Hotel, perfect location. Private beach is nice and was nice that we had everything there, pool, ocean, restaurants, and night club. Some minor things need fixing but nothing any other hotel doesnt have. Can hear music a little at night from room but not enough to keep us up. Bartenders were amazing and super nice and kept things friendly! Everybody around the pool was nice to be around and was nice to sit in hot tub and listen to the DJ and bands at night. Friendly valet, front desk, and house keeping, all had smiles on their face and always were nice and answered our questions. We will def come back.

Nice spot worth checking out but beware of the many trolls and tool bags that congregate there.

The staff are very hostile. They will lie and have you arrested. If you don't like jail stay away from this place you asking for trouble.

Has a place to park your boat. Right on the beach and has good value drinks.

This was by far the worst experience at any place I have ever been whole vacationing. They have no concern for customer service what so ever. They will charge you extra and then not return phone calls. Needless to say that was the first and only time I will ever go to that establishment. Absolutely ridiculous.

Food is always great. Felt rushed since parking that used to be free is now free for the first 90 minutes. For the price of the buffet parking should be free unfortunately the valet parking attendant will take the hit.

Shepard's & The Wave make for a great night on Clearwater Beach. Highly recommended.
