Great fun place to be!!! Very loud just the way I like it.

First do not come here if you do not like a party atmosphere. This is not a quite getaway type place. A group of 10 of us stay here last weekend for 4 days. Overall the experience was great and I really enjoyed myself. The hotel has been renovated in February and it shows, everything looks brand new. The rooms are new, nice and clean. There are many bars on the property. Live music goes from 2pm-3am on weekends, not sure about weekdays. Yes, that's right live music until 3am and it is loud when you trying to sleep. I brought ear plugs and I had no issues falling asleep.

Food is reasonably priced except for the buffet, thats over priced. The buffet is good but no buffet in book is worth $$$$. Crab legs, sushi, etc were all great. As expected the drinks are over priced. We arrived w/ 10 cases of beer that we drank during the day and pre gamed in our rooms at night, plus the gas station across the street sells beer too.

The pool and beach are nice but small when crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. BTW Sunday is the big party day here, insane. Beach chairs cost $, pool chairs are free.

Great spot for privacy during the week. You do have to pay for all chairs, so bring your own towel if you don't feel like renting a chair. Chair rentals are $10 each for the day. I saw outside servers, but no one ever came up to us to take our order in the 4 hours we were there. We loved the privacy and view of the water. This is also a great place to spot dolphins!

Great location. Excellent party atmosphere. Check your account after checking out though they will try to charge for the water even though you didn't drink it. Money was refunded though.

Stay here if you like to party until 3am Friday-Sunday. Yes even Sunday night. Nice resort, day staff was friendly and helpful. Don t stay on a weekend if you want to be able to sleep before 3am. For some reason, they chose to put a club in a resort without soundproofing...you can hear the obnoxiously loud bass even floors above the club. When asking to checkout early to be able to switch to a different hotel, we were told we would have to pay for a night we would not be staying. No help from night staff to move us from our current room farther away from the club, will definitely not be staying here again.

Only get one star because I had to pick number of stars. Zero would be more accurate. Customer service was unprofessional and mean. There are prostitures that hang out in the lobby. Their outdoor area has security with power trips! Bad service, and loud parties in rooms. Don't stay here.

Sad to say I will not be going back. Went to the restaurant and intended to celebrate family, had the buffet. Seemed like the food was leftovers. Everything was dry. Crab Legs were dried out and could not even get the shell to open, mush. Lobster bisque was fishy, which is not normal.
Even the dessert bar was pretty bad, again everything had a very dry taste to it.
Others had coffee, it was good they said, but there are plenty of places to have coffee!
Sorry guys, you blew it this time.

Typical beach bar with indoor and outdoor area. Live music and dance club. Cover charge.

Beautiful Resort. The beach alongside the property made the stay ideal for my beach enjoying family. Staff professional and kind, the rooms ample and elegantly decorated. We'll be back!

Went to the tiki bar for a show, was very good and the drinks weren't too expensive !

Had plans to enjoy myself with friends and book a room but was denied before I could even get to the door. Customer service was horrible. We all have our differences however you can still be professional.

They have a nice environment and delicious
foods.

Great outdoor dance area. Awesome little indoor night club, food was good. Shepards is definitely an awesome spot to hang in Clearwater.

Hotel revelation service super really recommendable. The only one near the nearest hotel for people who like niche atmosphere. Every day, music plays from morning and in the afternoon the band plays on the stage.

The food was good but they add gratuity 18%without asking. I felt that was not appropriate to be added to the bill without my knowledge.

Food was good if you ask for it made fresh, some things sat out on line for too long.

Billy Shephard runs a great place. Always a good show, food is top shelf, staff is freindly and helpful. Maybe a little on the pricey side, but not bad, and worth it.

Clean , but the drinks are weak, everything is expensive, ITS A LIE NO free breakfast. Check in was delayed PAST 3PM after we booked it three days in advanced ,then they told us we could check out late for the inconvenience and the next morning they said we had to leave at normal check out time to make room for a "High priority guest" . I'm sorry but every guest should be considered HIGH PRIORITY!!! NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND THE ENTERTAINMENT IS CHEESE! You can stay across the street for 50$ a night and have a great time .

Overall it was good but I only stopped by briefly to see a friend. The improvements look great.

Awesome place! Great food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. You cannot beat this buffet! Everything was fresh and tasty! We will definitely be back again! Highly recommend!

Took forever to book the room to make reservations heard laughing in the background and was placed on hold one to many times. Bar tender named Alex a female blonde hair with attitude felt she didn't need to serve us properly. I'm upset and wish I went down the street to a better hotel. My friend had to prove who he was because he shaved his facial hair. Clearly he was of age but had security involved. After being accused of being a minor to there embarrassment we proved otherwise. If I could have left negative feedback I would have bc one star is one to much.

Bathrooms were clean, valet guys were pretty funny. Even the security guards were fun to talk to.

Great location, beautiful and clean hotel, ask for the room with view to the beach/pool.....you won't regret it.

The property was beautiful. Great atmosphere. I was just at the beach bar and patio. There was live music, and djs. it was a blast!

If you re between the ages of 21-35 and love edm this is the spot to check out on Sundays during spring break season!

The live music, yummy food and great drinks bring us back to Shepards every time we visit Clearwater Beach.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay Super Bowl weekend! We were originally booked at the Hampton Inn, but a last minute call to check availability when we arrived in Clearwater from Philly quickly changed our minds! We were so lucky to work with Kenneth! He created a perfect package for us and treated us like family! Amazing customer service! The hotel was beautiful and the facilities and our room were all immaculately kept. The food was excellent with great portion sizes and nicely priced for a resort. Ocean flame dinner buffet is a must! If you want a true resort feel with daily and nightly entertainment surrounded by fun guests and a great staff, chose Shepard s!

Nice place. Live music. Food OK. Nice cocktail. Big ones at happy hour. Right next to the beach. Great sunset. Little beach and jet skis.

I rented 2 rooms and was super excited before arriving and treated like a 3rd class citizen! The attendant even had the nerve to leave me and check in people that arrived after me!

Way too loud! Terrible band played until the wee hours. The buffet is an expensive waste of money. The front desk, although friendly, were terribly uninformed about local restaurants and attractions. We will not stay there again....ever!

Went to dance at Shepard's. Speaking as a professional A/V person, there was a lot they needed to do to give it a completely professional look. They did a lot of gimmicks, like a LED video wall behind the DJ (which needed some panels changed it to replace the 10-20 dead pixels), that needed some polish to actually look completely professional. Speaking not as a professional A/V person but rather as a normal dancing club guest, the music was decent, the drinks weren't the worst we had and were probably decent for the price, and they did fairly well as entertainment for a semi-dead Wednesday night.

Solid spot on the beach that is clean and accessible. Food prices are a little high. Quality is decent. My friend had the shark taco and enjoyed it. Drink prices are reasonable considering it's a beach bar. Overall it's a solid spot to drink that's open late. Decent menu options, and open late. Walking distance to several hotels.

Awesome location with their tiki setup in the backside facing the water. Went for the live music one night and the drinks weren t overpriced. The atmosphere was friendly and the band playing was solid as well. I think they were called the Nolan s if I remember correctly. Great place to go get a drink with friends and make sure to checkout the giftshop right outside as well. I made a custom hoodie there for like $30.

Decent little beach resort on the water. Lots of seating and often are playing live music (mostly hip-hop, top 40 stuff). Limited seating in the sand. Can rent items to go on the water (wave runners, kayak, paddle board) and motor carts like dune buggy. Staff is pretty nice, never had food here, also it can get really loud and busy.

Food is blah, pablum for the beach set but, for a quick snack while dancing and crowd watching, decent enough. Didn't eat in the main restaurant but that was by choice as buffets scare me. Great scene for watching bikini clad beaches from 18 to 80 and their lovers, louses, i mean spouses, and sugar daddies hang out, hang on and bounce to the beat coming from good bands and rockin DJ.

Surrounded by people from all over, ok for a couples retreat.

Very nice hotel. Only downfall to us was that the chairs on the beach in front of the hotel was not a part of the $25 resort fee. Was very deceiving.

We had brunch at Ocean Flame on Christmas and it was great. Service was superb and so was the food. Will visit again.

Food was great but a little pricey...emilie is a great asset to the restaurant!

Buffett was way too expensive for what you got...its overated..service was good but had eaten there before and it was nothing like it used to be..
