Very modern and clean facilities and amenities. Pretty high quality food and shops here. Everything seems pretty modern and cosmopolitan for a mall. Plenty to eat and shop. Wouldn't say there's much to do outside of that though. Maybe watch and movie.

Dear edsa shangri-la hotel,<br/>My name is Kc Haugh, Marita is my Mom. My Dad is Francis Joseph Haugh II. We used to check-in in your hotel before my dad leave the country and come back here in the Phil. Since I was a kid, we go there a lot. I was born 1999 but I know that my mom and dad used to stay there even before I came into their lives. I remember, everytime we checked-in I loved to have a key card, run with my dad in the hallway. Also, I got already trapped in the elevator because my brother pressed all the buttons and I stayed in the elevator, good thing, one man helped me to find my family. <br/>My dad teached me how to swim in your pool, also my niece when she came. <br/>I hope we can visit you again but without my dad anymore because he died last 2017. I'm so missing him right now. If only I can visit you there my beloved shangri-la hotel, my dad will be so happy I miss our memories there. <br/> Thank you for the beautiful memories <br/>Yours truly,<br/>Kc Haugh

I had a short vacation in the Philippines and I'm thankful for the reservations team specially Patricia for arranging my request as I requested for connecting room and a nice view. Even they sent cakes for my auntie and daughter for their birthday.My family & I are so family with the gesture of all the team and enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.

What can say? I've been to Shangri-La EDSA several times and its always a perfect experience when I am there. The rooms, the pool, the breakfast at the Heat... always perfect. Will be back again definitely.

Was a dinning guest at the lobby restaurant and the services are really good. Cosy atmosphere and the calm surroundings of the outside was the most impressed out if all.

Shangri-la Plaza is quite good place for upmarket shopping and dining.

If you are to catch the MRT, the entrance for the Shaw Bulovard MRT Station is located in the 2nd floor if I'm not mistaken.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay but just a note for improvement... the elevators of the garden wing where we stayed was very warm, it would help a lot if it was airconditioned thx!

I have been a regular guest and have always enjoyed our stay! Everything is superb! From the reception, to service staff, to food, to cleanliness ... just everything! All my requests have always been granted without any fuss! Always a pleasure to stay in your hotel! Will never tire of coming back!

No plates, spoon and fork..though i booked with no breakfast..still necessary utensils should be provided
Refrigerator must be filled with necessary stuffs,for afterall once it is consumed it will be charged to the bill of the occupants.

I chose EDSA Shangri-La as it was recommended by family as the most convenient, central spot to meet. I loved the location for its accessibility to malls, restaurants and even public transport.

The staff were exceptional. They were respectful, courteous, able to communicate effectively and tended to requests within a reasonable time.

Arrival & check-in and bell service were quick. However, when I got to the room, the sheet had stains on it. I called down and the problem was quickly solved. We got moved to a different room. Although the process took a while, I appreciate that they were apologetic, solved the problem and sent a manager to speak and apologize to us.

My only disappointing comments are: 1) the pool was used by children with swimming lessons. I stayed for 4 nights and had a chance to use the pool one day. It could just be the day I was there but it definitely wasn t as relaxing as I had hoped it to be.
2) for the cost of the breakfast buffet, I have had better at different hotels for the price. The choices were lacking and the food was mediocre at best. Great coffee though!

It was fine. Just some cleaning issues I found even after the first incident I found and it was corrected. Maybe the staff should be retrained to clean certain areas that are used a lot like handles on drawers and doors. also I know the building is old but I found a place by the bathroom window where there is a crack and you could smell the outside air coming in. Besides that we asked for more robes and didn't receive them but not a big deal. The breakfast buffet was great and tasty. All the staff were nice and friendly.

Amazing hotel with very accommodating staff. They even leave complimentary banana bread in the room. Heat, their restaurant serves very good breakfast! Make sure to try their signature bread pudding.

Check in experience was very bad and it took more than 20 minutes in a long Que. Breakfast Indian Menu was terrible and it appears that chef doesn't know how to prepare/cook indian food. It used to be good year ago and I decided to stay in this hotel, but now the quality and taste both off.

I have been going to HEAT for quite some time but my recent experience was not very good. It s probably the reason I see less people specially at breakfast when there used to be such a long line to get it. Perhaps it s time to review the menu. Thanks

[visited May 2017] There is so much convenience with a stay here. You have the choice of two large shopping centers across the street, if that is your thing. The employees do their best to meet your expectations and then exceed them. The dinning area may not be the biggest or flashiest, but it is outstanding (I had the breakfast buffet every day and it was well worth it).

Best breakfast spread! Excellent facilities and great service from the staff. We requested to get our rooms at a much earlier time and we were fortunate that our request was granted. Our request for inter-connected rooms was also granted.

It would be better if the people who answer the different areas -- housekeeping, front desk, etc -- could pick up before the fourth ring. There were several times no one would pick up and we had to dial again, just to request for an extra towel.

Smooth check in. Though it was 12pm I was provided with a free upgrade. Customer service staff did their great job ensuring I am ok. Her name starts with S. Almost had the same birth day as I am but hers is 4th oct. Must thank her for that. Overall stay very comfortable and quiet and it s great. Will return again for sure.

Overall the stay was good but with a problem with check in time. We intend to be checked in as early as possible as we came from Mindanao and we need to be rested as we will have sportsfest in the afternoon. We arrived around 9:00am and room vacancy was relayed past 4:00pm estimated. ESL must have consideration since we are a big company who booked way ahead of time. ESL must anticipate theses circumstances given some have been given rooms as they checked in in the morning.

We consider Edsa Shangri-la as one of the best Shangri-la properties. It is the only hotel we can recommend in the Ortigas area.
One reason why we always choose a Shangri-la property when we travel within and outside the country is because you feel like you never left HOME!
The comfort, convenience, and the needs of the guests are always their priority.
We salute the founders, the owners, the Kuok family, for the value of excellence that they have instilled in their employees.
The Shangri-la group has indeed raised the bar in the hotel industry.

The service at this hotel is very good. The staff is friendly and when having breakfast with a large group (650 people) it's very swift. Nobody lacks food. The food is served full even a lot of leftovers. The waiter is like tireless. The location is close to shopping centers that are middle and lower middle class. Sangrilla plaza and Mega mall. Also close to public transportation.

It was a very pleasant experience staying in your luxurious and beautiful hotel. Keep it up! Staffs are very pleasing and accommodating. Clean rooms and amenities.

Hope there will be a happy hour in the lounge say buy 1 take one on local beers from 4pm to 7pm.

Overall stay was good. Staff are friendly and courteous, and attentive to our needs despite the influx of people staying at the hotel for the holidays (there was a lot of people). My only complaint was I did not get the usual fruit platter I believe I am entitled to as a GC member - there was a tray of cookies (designed in Christmas decors) though which did not taste great (they were hard and stale). Oh and the parking availability is such a nuisance - the hotel doesn t even have enough parking space for checked in guests and the valet assistant was even asking us to park at the mall! Such inconvenience for checked in guests esp since we are carrying a lot of things. But aside from these the overall stay was great.

1. My daughter and two sons had food poisoning and diarrhea after consuming dinner at HEAT on 4th January 2018. My daughter collapsed at around 1:00pm on 5th January 2018 in your shopping mall and she had been sent to your hotel clinic for treatment, Actually we have booked a tour, for sightseeing trip in the morning but we need to cancel it. We had paid for 45,000.00 peso and the medical expense 975.00 peso. It spoil our sightseeing trip for my family of seven people and we lost 45,975.00 peso. Please advise what you are planning to do with our lost?

2. I had booked Transportation-Limousine for my family upon our arrival on 04 January 2018 and I remind your staff three time the departure date on 06 January 018 at 4:30am to airport. I made all the payment on 05 January 2018 and confirm again for the morning call on 06 January 2018 at 4:00am and the Limousine should be ready at 4:30am. We feel very disappointed, the Limousine is not there and we have to wait more than 15 minute outside the hotel. The staff at Transportation Counter, she said that I had booked at 8:30am instead of 4:30am. Your hotel has internal problem, we almost missed our flight due to your error Your hotel is five stars hotel, it will not be like that situation.

as a returning guest, I was excited to have our staycation at Shang Edsa, my room was upgraded to a premium suite, though I don't have any welcome amenities in my room as stated as a jade member, unlike to Makati and BGC Shang whenever we arrived in our room the welcome amenities is always ready I feel like not just a guest but a family who is returning to her second home. but overall it was a good stay

I was looking for the dedicated Golden Circle Check-In Station, but apparently was told if was not available. I wanted to use it and enjoy the perks of having been recently promoted to Jade level since the check-in line was a bit long.

Good thing your staff assisted me while I was queuing and processed my check-in for me.

Hoping that in future stays, it would be available.
