It's a luxury hotel. Great amenities good restaurant. Indian cusine is also the best part of this hotel. Restaurant is bit costly. Restaurant is also available for other guests those are not staying in hotel.

We've stayed several times for 2 weeks each visit. Low staff turnover helps to make it feel like visiting relatives in the way we are treated each visit. Highly recommended! Mall waking distance across the street.

The first stay 2/20-2/25 the room is fine except for the shower area. water were coming out from the shower door. it need to refit the plastic lining of the door.

the 2nd stay 2/29-3/2 they put us on a room which was an older room than our 1st stay & our floor bathroom was always flooding every time we take a shower on the bathtub. after complaining about it, they put us immediately on a nicer room.

Heat still has one of the best buffets in Manila. Wide selection of dishes from many cultures and excellent service. But it does get quite crowded during breakfast and lunch, so better book in advance.

It's a good hotel, but for some reason it's clerical and uncomfortable. My personal opinion. The pool is small and there is a place where you can play with water with small children. Breakfast buffet is not good. Even if you can access the lounge on the executive floor, it is not convenient. Meals are only available at certain times. You have to order drinks one by one. Troublesome. Also, because it is in a shopping center, the hotel entrance parking lot is difficult to understand. At the very end of the night, only the wing on the floor I was on had a power outage at around 7:30. I can't do anything with the lights on and off for more than 2 hours. I moved to a semi-suite but this room has an old design. It was a subtle feeling that was good and bad. We stayed at various hotels, but this is the first time that a blackout has occurred. Shopping Meals are convenient but I don't want to go anymore.

A warm welcome, but a bad start-- the room stunk of cigarette smoke, and my asthmatic wife and I immediately felt unwell. Thankfully, we were promptly relocated (but to a twin single-bed, instead of single king bed room). I also received a call from the duty manager (Diane?) apologising for the smoky room and offering to assist us with any further concerns. I thought the rest of our stay would be uneventful, until around 9AM the next day, my rare morning after-breakfast nap was interrupted by a knock on the door (inquiring if there was anything I needed DESPITE THE DO NOT DISTURB NOTICE BEING ON). I accepted the water offered, then asked why he had knocked despite the notice being on -- was it not noticed? Another apology-- I did check and it was on). Okay. Finally, after lunch at 12:10PM (we had arranged late check-out at 1PM), we could not enter the room with our key card (my wife had to go down again to have this fixed). Hence our rating.

Booked a Tower wing accommodation but was given a Garden wing room. Friendly staff, smooth check-in and check-out. The baby crib was sturdy and nice. Room was dated though, no bidet spray and busted shower hose.

No parking space so most guests with cars had no choice but to do compulsory valet.

A good stay but far from ideal.

Still a posh place with lots of new stores to discover especially at the new wing with great finds atvthe atrium during weekend fairs... great entertainment during weekends as well at the main activity hall. Do check out their kiosks exhibitors at the basement level of the main wing and drop-by at the Market Place of Rustans Supermarket for fresh produce and affordable gourmet food.

The drinks at the pool are overpriced! Iits hard to enjoy the pool without a glass of your favourite drinks. We only stayed for one night just for the expereince. I think only one metal security screening is sufficient at the main entrance, two are inconvenient. All staff were very courteous & professional. It s a Beautiful hotel I will return for sure.

One of the best hotels here in the Philippines. EDSA Shangri-La Manila has great facilities -- great rooms (with really good linens, room perks and bathroom), great facilities, breakfast choices and my favorite? It is near SM Megamall and Shangri-La Mall. But wait, there's more! It possess the really good HEAT restaurant. Every month, HEAT offers their customers either perks or a different culinary experience.

I would like to commend, Lawrence of front desk. He was very friendly, sincere and accomodating. Guest sevices also brought us what we needed.

Just a comment duting breakfast, we asked 2 lady servers for coffee but they never brought it. Third time was with a male server and was the only time our coffee was finally served.

I had a great time staying in this hotel. The receptionist accepted us even if we are a little earlier than the official check in time, and even offered late check out. I was pleasantly surprised of this wonderful gesture. At 5:00 pm, someone knocked our door to give us treats and additional 2 bottles of water for free. The bed was so nice and so big. My husband and I, with toddler at the middle slept comfortably.

Room 1017 carpet smells.and dust in the corners.may skyflakes wrapper on the floor which was not mine.also the shower curtain smells. Ugly view of carpark.but the bed and linen feels so luxurious. Breakfast line for breakfast at heat is another horror story. Lined up at 930am at the second floor due to super long line downstairs.seated at 10am. 1015 am informed that buffet was closing. 1020 set up was gone...in a woof!

I have stayed twice in a span of a month at your hotel. At both times your receptionist were polite but rather cold and unfriendly to assist with anything extra - may it be an additional hour for check in or check out. Rather they repeat the rules and regulation like it's written. For a business traveler it makes a world of difference these small touch. l have always stayed at the IHG or Hyatt Hotels everywhere including in Manila. As a person who travels extensively all over the world, l would rate your receptionist poorly a to the warmth, friendliness and tact.
Am not sure to return to your hotel again after the same reception both times.

We loved the buffet lunch. The room was perfect. Staff members were very helpful without being obtrusive.

The cake for my husband's birthday was good. I appreciate that the reservation staff offered to arrange for it without me asking for it.

We were there on a Saturday holiday. So the breakfast area was really full. There was a long line for check-out.The only area that can be improved on is the long line for checking out on a Saturday holiday morning (Nov. 30)

Our room came in the usual clean arrangement but they did not provide any personal touches or complementary fruit they used to give. Buffet line was long and stressful. Good thing check-out was a breeze.

It was a pleasant stay and the hotel staff were very accommodating. Despite my busy schedule, they made sure everything was smooth. Also, I would like to commend Mr. Bon of housekeeping who was able to retrieve my laptop after I forgot it inside the writing desk past my checked out time.

So happy to stay again my kids love sleeping in the bed. The HEATs food is also good but if only we could swap breakfast in bed that would be fair since my kids only eats fruit and some sausage. I hope you have that options

Overall experience was good but the house keeping staff should not change the temperature of the room by moving the thermostat to arctic cold or baking hot. Twice I came back from a long day and the temperature of the room was uncomfortable because they adjusted the settings. Its a small thing but makes all the difference.

Very nice hotel. Pool is great while lack of nightlife gave a very sleepy feel to the place. Best for families rather than single people. Great employees. The lounge had a fairly good breakfast. Overall I was impressed with everything. It isn't my normal hotel choice when working in the Manila area, but it is nicer than my usual place. I'll probably be back on my next trip.
