Free valet parking bit get it stamped in the restaurant first. Lobsterlicious night is a bargain with unlimited lobster (come early though) & other cold or cooked seafood and meat selection buffet.
The stay was amazing, all staff was friendly and always said hello. The view from the room was beautiful! I loved the romantic touch which was added to my room as it was our anniversary. The swimming pool was beautiful with a good view of the burj khalifa. I want to thank Arya for the best massage ever.
I only have 2 negatives, the food in the Chinese restaurant that we ate at in the hotel was just average and I expected soy sauce on the fried rice, not just white rice. Fried rice usually comes with a yellow/brown tinge to it. Also on the spa treatment menu we got the couples massage for 2 for the price of 480 aed, we believed that this price was for both of us in total but after the massage we found out it was per person. No one told us this and the leaflet doesn t make it clear at all as it gives the impression that 480 is the price in total.
Also the electricity cut out of Saturday night and left us with no lights or anything. Once the electricity came back on our sockets still wasn t working and didn t get fixed until the next day which really messed up the day as we needed cameras and phones charged but we couldn t.
Overall a very good stay and would definitely recommend it and come back to stay again.

The Horizan room we were in was exceptional. Very clean, spacious and amazing views of town & the Burj Khalifa. Used both pools indoor & out. The gym was a good size and well equip.

Very attentive and friendly.We all felt very welcomed. My 6 year old daughter injured herself. All the staff were all very concerned and very attentive to her. Which made her very happy.

Communication was an issue at this hotel . The standards of communication was below good for the level expected for this hotel. Standard operating procedures should be more emphasised and customer interaction have to be professional rather than putting a face on. Some amenities were not working or tripping continuously,like few electrical plugs in the room and found it inconvenient when I couldn t charge my phone or tablet .

A very great and classy hotel. The location is great for exploring the city. The staff is really helpful and polite. The food in the restaurant is very good.
Overall a good 5 star hotel. Especially the staff is very friendly, courteous, nice and helpful. Anyone who has additionally booked Horizon Club will get their money's worth. In particular, the Happy Hour buffet is varied, e.g. Dim sum, sushi, salmon and many other appetizers.
The Horizon Club breakfast selection is modest, so we went to the large breakfast buffet on the ground floor.
The Horizonzimmer on the 41st floor are very large and comfortable. Everything was very clean at a high level.
Wonderful Hotel. Excellent Service. View from the room was incredible. Breakfast is top! Rooftop pool is great! And the place smells amazing!. Location is okay, but they have a free shuttle bus that goes to Dubai Mall so can't complain. All in all, I would stay here again!

Another wonderful stay at this facility. I do say that the food at the Lounge was a bit scarce as compared to the KL facility. The sushi and other hot foods were consumed 2 minutes after it was put out. I suggest larger portions.
Amazing hotel in Dubai. Love the gym and pool they have on site (tennis court and squash court available). Amazing spa, super relaxing. Awesome restaurants (Chinese, Vietnamese, Moroccan etc) night club on site and IKandy bar by the pool side from 6pm good place for a low key catch up with friends. Oh they make really awesome shisha there too. Free valet parking when you're not a guest and uses any of the facilities on site. A must stay hotel if you're looking for a place to relax in Dubai.

Went to a restaurant, Shang Palace Chinese restaurant. Good restaurant, good food, good service.
I stayed from 27th feb to 2nd march with my wife & children (1 years & 5 years old). I requested for a stroller trolley for my 1 year child at the time of check in ( already communicated the same at the time of booking 2 weeks back).
I was told that it will be available in room in some time. I again requested in 27th evening , 28th morning & afternoon. Again promised to provide in room by a executive club lounge staff (41 st floor). it was not given. when we went out in evening to dubai mall, in night me & my wife both carried our sleeping children in our hand for long time since it was weekend so we had to stay in queue everywhere & came back at 12 in night.
I am sorry I had to speak loud in night at reception ( which is against my character & ethics).
Then stroller was given in late night.
Nothing to say more, you can understand my disappointment & anger.
At least someone should have informed us if it is not available. so i could arrange it myself,
I have stayed in many Great hotels all over world ( including Shangri La Singapore) ,
No-one can compromise services related to children, especially if it is promised by a world Renowned hotel.
it is also against Kids rights & against humanity.
I am not going to stay in future in shangr-La hotels.

This was our very first visit to Dubai. As we were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary, we decided to make this trip extra special by choosing Shangri-la for our entire stay. You certainly did not disappoint. We had such a warm welcome on arrival and the outstanding hospitality continued throughout our entire stay. In fact we were rather sad when it was time to leave.
So glad we chose to stay here. The views were spectacular. Our well-appointed, luxurious and spacious room faced the Burj Khalifa. We got to see the sun rise in full glory every morning. A truly humbling experience!
Full credit to all the staff we encountered during our stay. Everyone was so courteous, warm and above all genuinely friendly. All the Horizon Club team were fantastic, in particular Archana, Hossam, Cris, Mike, BoBo and Lana. The whole Horizon Club experience - breakfast, afternoon tea and Happy Hour at the Horizon Club Lounge, the Horizon Health Club and swimming pool on Level 42 and of course the views from the Level 42 sundeck was amazing.
Once again thank you to the general manager, Mr Hakan Ozel, (whom we had the pleasure of meeting on one of the days) and all your team for making our first visit to Dubai very special and truly memorable. Went to Hoi An. This Vietnamese restaurant is on the next level! With lobster and wagu beef on the menu, it was a lot more than I was expecting. Delicious food and the servers were delightful!

Overall the stay was fantastic; staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, the location was unbearable, views were stunning and the rooms were comfortable and luxurious. The extra complimentary touches such as cold towels by the pool and fruit snacks were a great touch. I especially was grateful for the delicious birthday cake delivered to my room on my birthday. The only negative comment I have is the price of food and snacks. We were charged 100aed for two portions of fries at the pool which equates to 23gbp - for some fried potatoes that really is extortion and made me avoid buying lunch at the hotel.
However, overall the stay was fabulous and we will undoubtedly be back again next year.

Shuttle bus is too small that we can not get it on several times. Not too much restaurants for choose. Breakfast buffer is too expensive.

Nice big halls for the conferences and seminars, the staff are friendly and nice, and available all the time and so helpful. Food was normal or less that normal. the location of the hotel on the opposite side of dubai mall and dubai downtown towards abudhabi also makes it in a strategic location. Good to be here.

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the shops, restaurants, free shuttle to the Mall, walking distance to the train station, beautiful view from the rooms, free snacks and drinks from 1200pm to 3pm, happy hours from 4:30pm to 6:30pm if you're a Horizon Club Member.
I will definitely recommend Shangri-la to friends and families, the place to stay if they visit Dubai.
Also on the third visit we like the hotel again. Asian ambience combined with modern Dubai. Everything is within easy reach, Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall within sight. Nice pool to relax. Chinese cuisine in the Shang Palace in the usual top quality, Vietnamese and Indian restaurants and coffee shop. Our suite with Horizon Club access leaves nothing to be desired.
Perfect service! They have an area where drinking is possible. The internet connection is very good. In addition to Wi-Fi they have network cable in the room. The price of laundry is very high.
