A fascinating experience. When you are in the place where the writer lives you understand many things that seem to you unclear. A fascinating tour and interesting and professional tutorial by Angela the instructor.

Guided tour in Shakespeare Globe theatre in London. It's not the original theatre and it's not located at the exact same place as the original. But is really feels nice to be standing in Shakespeare's theatre, even if it's a replica. You can only visit it with a guided tour and costs 17 pounds and takes about 30 or 40 minutes. You want to see our video check out my youtube FilipG Thank you for watching!

Great place to see a play like they would have back in Shakespeare's time. Very authentic and a great experience. I would recommend bringing back support as the seats have no backs so by the end of the play you will be in pain.

We went to Othello and were truly moved by the performance. We had standing places which was very tiring but everything was booked so far in advance their was nothing else available one month prior to the play.
The thing that surprised me, which perhaps it shouldn't have because it's kind of obvious when you think of it, is that umbrellas weren't allowed during rain... And it was raining quite heavily... Luckily not very long and it had been a warm day.

Such a wonderful experience. The theater is absolutely gorgeous, and the cast is top notch. If you are a theater nerd, or Shakespeare fan this is a must visit.

Can't lie, I got a bit misty eyed when the show started.

We went for the tour today, but we ve been b fire for a performance. The museum is ok. Has some interesting points but is not well maintained. The tour and guide were exceptional with lots of detailed and relevant information. We also got to enjoy them rehearsing during the afternoon which was an added treat.

Enchanting to immerse yourself in this fabulous theater of the past! Too bad for the guide only in English that emphatically told every detail ... that obviously..view my lack of knowledge of the language I lost ...

Shakespeare's Globe is an artful and detailed reconstruction of an Elizabethan theatre, new living history. And if you want to enjoy that living history to the full it's best to go see a play. Watch the colorful crowd in the pit and the balconies laugh, roar and applaude just as it was 400 years ago. Watching actors throw passion into their words. It's not just a theatre it's a time machine.

Watched an outstanding performance of Henry V.. Both the production and each and every actor (especially the actors) were absolutely fantastic! At first I thought that this is going to be a very serious place but it turned out to be a quite humorous place and play. The actors showed their professionalism in dealing with some noise caused by a helicopter interrupting the play in flying above the theatre (remember: no roof!) and in really woking with the audience (that was the best part for me).
We were standing in the yard for 5 Pounds, but in case you haven't been walking for hours the same day that is no problem at all - it's just great as you are so close to the stage!
Hope I'll come back again soon!!!

Rebuilt to showcase the wonders of the original theatre that Shakespeare's plays were often performed in, it is one of only a few places where one can experience the plays like they used to be (minus the smell that probably filled the air in Shakespeare's time)
