Came in for drinks with a gf but ended up walking into a birthday party being held in the entry way. Atmosphere was not the best.

Went here for my birthday, the wait staff made it a fun time. A very nice sign and lights come out that say happy birthday. Food is always cooked amazing. 4 stars because some of the silverware was not cleaned enough and had tk be replaced
We celebrated my companion's birthday at Seta Dine Lounge and the entire experience from the host to receiving our dessert was exceptional. The evening was accompanied by live music, during dinner hours and topped of at the end of the night with a DJ playing songs that kept us on the dance floor.

This is one of very few establishments in Whittier area who attempt to provide this level of Decor/Ambiance/Food.
Great ambiance, amazing service... if you have the privilege of being served by Edwin, you are golden. Compliments to the CHEF We had the Alaskan Salmon, it was cooked to perfection... melts in your mouth. For drinks we had the Spicy Lucy and Cucumber Gimlet, delicious! Cucumber Gimlet is my recommendation...so refreshing. ENJOY!
In the area on business and found this place on Google maps. Went here for lunch. Had the Blackend Chicken Salad, it was fantastic. Service was very good and the owner was present and making the rounds. Highly recommend for lunch, now I have to go back and give dinner a try. We'll be back
Had a good time, but to me there are better local places you ought to check out if you are just going for drinks. Definitely has a upscale vibe though which is nice.
Now called Nixon. Upscale 7-11. Slurpy machine at bar. Very drunk obnoxious girls in bar area cussing like sailors on shore leave. Bartender oblivious. I won't be back.

Tip: Order Meat . Awesome experience Awesome ambiance Customer Service was amazing The 3 people who ordered breakfast hated their food. The 5 people who ordered steaks and burgers were blow away . Chef Hugo is so nice! He told us that he is not only a chef but a butcher and how he only selects, cuts and cooks fresh meat.
We really enjoy Seta, great food. The Chef is excellent. Great for lunch or dinner. If your in uptown Whittier for an evening, great place to treat yourself. Great bar and generally live music. Great wine selection.

Food is good...pianist is too dang loud! I couldn't have a conversation with my dinner companion because the pianist was out of control. Unpleasant experience and the noise actually gave me.a headache.
My main reason for this rating, was that the bartenders were totally self serving and encouraged guests to take excessive shots that the hosting party had not pre-arranged. These were not "well" shots......they were the most expensive spirits in there, let alone what any bar would carry. Additionally, the bartenders also helped themselves to shots that the hosting party had never approved. We had planned a wonderful 75th Bday party for my father and while the food was fine, this malicious behavior that had no respect for the overall cost was horribly out of place. I will not be recommending this establishment at all. They need to change their cavalier attitude and respect common courtesy.
Great drinks the Lucy drink is very good. We had appetizers and all were delicious. The good being served looked very good. I enjoy this Restaurant very much.

I can't believe how much I talk about this place on such a regular basis. Best place within a 15 mile radius by FAR! Ambience, taste, quality of food and value is what you'll get here.
