Sol Blu Lounge (now Sol Blu Lounge and Tap Room) Reviews

If you're a beer enthusiast or a cocktail connoisseur this is the best place in town for you. The Tap Room always has a great selection of craft beers rotating through. Sol Blu bar can mix up any concoction you like with ease. Live music or sports are a great addition to the night.

Nice place to relax to great tunes and converse. Two separate areas and bars to sit in. Staff was very friendly. Music was great. I would consider this a social place to meet up with friends and everyone just gets along and is friendly. We will return. Nice change of pace for the Iron Mt area of bars. Go check it out.

Weird, I've not rated this fine establishment in recent months, and definitely didn't last week as Google claimed, --a 2 star rating showed??? Now I feel compelled to give it a 5 to offset their erroneous rating. (Strange bug or hack Google!?) Would like to see live music more often --at least weekly there, but Lee and Jesse & staff have fine a fantastic job.

Great place to be for a fun night out. The vibe this place gives off is really nice. A great aesthetic. The only thing I would say is one of the bartenders is a little rude. Other than that, a nice place to catch up with some friends and have a few drinks.

This is a great spot to kick back and have drinks with friends. I would have given it 5 stars if the many speakers were at a reasonable level during the game tonight. It was very difficult to have a conversation, but that's not the norm.

Best, and kind of only, decent bar in Iron Mountain.

Laginitas IPA on tap at tournaments last February was awesome! Always a good time at Sol Blu!

This is THE place for after work cocktails or...as in my case...excellent Tap Room beers, which are served in chilled pint glasses.

We were visiting from out of town and went here as a few locals recommended.Neat place when we walked in, but we stood at the bar for a drink for over 15 minutes while the bartender ignored us... and not because it was too busy. We ended up walking out.

Good selection of Michigan microbreweries along with canned and bottled beers. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair. A bit loud for me, but that is personal preference.. I will come again.

My favorite bar in the IM-K area, great beer and drink selection and friendly staff. Laid back atmosphere and they don't charge an arm and a leg for a drink.

It's a nice bar. Very rich drinks. Good and warm attention.
They have several types of beers. Good music.
If you want to have fun and try different drinks, there is a good drink menu to enjoy.

Great place, great variety of beer and Jesse is always friendly. Bathrooms and the whole place is clean. They have some great old area photos and some military memorabilia displayed.
