I wish I could give 0 stars. Unhelpful, useless company. This was the management company that my housing agency uses, and dealing with them is an extremely unpleasant experience. I had a large plumbing issue in my house, which resulted in my room being completely flooded. My housing agency told me that they couldn't do anything and that I'd have to call servatius. I called on a Sunday, they sent out an emergency plumber out who walked around, said there was nothing to be done right now and said they would call me in the morning to make an appointment to fix it. I waited all morning and heard nothing from them, so I called Servatius again. So ensued about 4 hours of calling, being told that I needed to call someone else, that I needed to do this, needed to do that. I had to get a Dutch friend to deal with them because they couldn't communicate with me in English, though I live in what is advertised as an international student apartment building. Finally, after the whole afternoon, they tell me it's an external plumbing company and that I have to call them. They give me the number and I call, but by this time the plumbing company had no spots left to fix the issue that day and said they would come between 12 and 5 the next day. The plumber comes at 6, after I have waited at home all day for them, and tells me that he can't fix anything and they'll call me the next day again. By this time I have been three days without a shower and not one person at Servatius has been any kind of help to me. Finally I called my housing agency again and they had Servatius sent someone who fixed the initial problem, but none of the damage to my room or the house was fixed. I cannot believe how uselessly inefficient one company could possibly be. I shouldn't have to wait three days to use my shower when it breaks, when it is the management company's responsibility to deal with it. I highly recommend staying as far away from Servatius as possible. Horrible, awful company.

Worthless service! If I want to drill a hole in the wall, I have to notify my neighbors, but if servatius decides to grow the toko for 4 weeks, you will not hear anything. Nice Christmas holidays in this way!

They have received the 3 star rating from us because of the fact that Servatius is still doing its best to improve service and customer friendliness !!! But 2 stars is actually a fairer rating.
So, as the many reviews already show, there is a lot to improve at Servatius.
There's work to be done !! Fluttering hands !!!
And advice for those who are dozed off, moody and lazy at Servatius: find another job !!
I would also like to say that there must be better enforcement and supervision by the complex managers; impoverishment, noise nuisance, pet nuisance and other annoyances and frustrations are increasingly emerging. The loyal tenant does see the rent increase every year, but the quality of living is decreasing rapidly.

Let's just hope that Servatius employs employees who at least read the reviews and do something with them.

Bouwver Sint Servatius I am sorry that they use the good name of Sint Servatius.
They are rude on the phone. Talk through the conversation and always tell them not to argue (safety word) and if it gets too difficult for them they hang up.

And if they do not get out of it and have to make something, then it is just mess that they deliver.
But what they are good at is to increase the rent every year.

Speaking today, a co-worker was brutally abused. She does not let me talk and only went on talking, is very grumpy and expresses very quickly so that I do not get a chance to say something, she was very rushed and unfriendly when I indicated that I wanted to say something she did not say what I said and started to speak even faster, I have rarely had such an unpleasant experience, this woman seems to be totally insane! And her colleague had promised me to give me an extra month to view the rental property on time, she immediately did that out of anger: no, he is a holiday worker so we can't do this for you! My expierience with this company is so bad, i cant even begin to describe it. One time, we had a leak in the public basement. I made this known to Servatius and they said it wasn't a big deal and it could wait. about a weak later i noticed that leak had made it so that our basement was filled with water. Again, i called servatius and told them there is about 10cm of water in our basement. They told me they would send somebody to fix it. The first man that arrived was a electrician. I was absolutely baffeld by this (as was the electrician i might add). So of course went for a seccond try. This time a man for the Boiler showed up. I was baffeld, again. Third time i got more annoyed with the company. The told me they would send an other one. Again, somebody who had no clue on what to do with this problem showed up. I had been calling all day long with them and support seemed to be annoyed by me as well as they were extreamly rude. It took a wopping 12 hours before somebody came who (again) was not for this job but refused to let us live with this problem so he made some calls and took it upon himself to get it fixed.

This is just one of the MANY bad expierences over the years with Servatius. They Renovated our home but this must have been the worst expierence of my life. Freezing cold, no heater (for anybody in the whole streat as they were just out of electrical heaters to gvie the people) no warm water for months. They did WAY WAY more harm then they had fixed, didn't keep any promises they had made and the endresult still is extreamly bad. We still have mold in the house and they didn't even fix the finer details like painting the wall that they excidently (i joke you not) broke down. The people they hired were borderline rude (for the majorty atleast). One person just rudely ignored my mom and started talking over her when she asked a quistion, the leader of the project was incredibly rude. Everytime i asked him something or his company had made a mistake, he blamed me. "o all this trouble only cuase you want a bigger kitchen" While this was of course a job from Servartius and had nothing further to do with us.

All in all, i could go on with this post for hours thats how many bad experiences i have with them. If at all possible, i would advice you to avoid living under them at all cost.

Too bad you can not give 0 for everything that deserves Servatius. rent a property? You will be welcomed with open arms, it is very helpful, but only to be worked on or restored if the residence. Intimidation, manipulation, blackmail is where all the resident can count on! Sweet talk on the part of Servatius, but no parsnips!

This is a long review, but the bottom line is that Servatius is not pleasant to rent, they do not keep their premises clean or even keep an eye on them and rooms aimed at students are not always only occupied by students.
Regarding room at Aubeldomein 20A01.
Via Maastricht Housing [MH] I could have obtained a room at Aubeldomein 2A01. I had been registered for 4 years, which put me at the top of the waiting list. In Maastricht - like everywhere - there is a big room shortage, so I was very happy to get this room. When I got the details to contact the current occupant, he was very surprised to have handed over the room to his sister. Thanks to Servatius this room ended up on MH, which I honestly 'won'. This was the result of a phone call with an employee who said that the room can only be rented out through MH. A few weeks later, when I was at summer school abroad, I received an email from Servatius stating that the room had already been rented to the sister of. However, they had 2 other rooms on offer in the same complex; 1 for men only - no idea how - and another. I'm a woman, so I couldn't go to option 1. To make the situation easier for the old tenant, his sister and myself, I chose the second room they offered. I spoke to the tenant at the time and got pictures of him. I agreed and I was able to collect the keys at the end of August.

I had gone to Aubeldomein 20 for the first time. Top location, lots of windows and a good room in itself. But how I found the communal areas was a big shock. The kitchen, especially around the stove, was incredibly dirty and downright unacceptable. The bathroom smelled like mold and was dirty too. The hallway was
covered in improvised carpet and the wallpaper fell off the wall. So I had already had to change rooms due to a miscommunication on Servatius' side, so that the room I had received via MH actually turned out to be unavailable. So I accepted this room - without being able to visit it because I was studying abroad all summer - not to make it a bigger problem than it needed to be, but when I was stuck with such a bad space , I was not happy. I also found out that this was not a student flat, which is a big downer on my move. A man of 50 plus (I was 22 at the time) lived there, and he has lived there since 2008. The flat has 4 rooms, 1 of mine, 1 of another boy who had just moved in just like me, and 2 others . These should both be bedrooms for different people, however the gentleman has received 1 room 'for free', which he has claimed as his living room. The other room is his bedroom. He claims to have gotten the room for free as he and his 2 friends used to live here. Servatius knew nothing about this when I explained this to them. The gentleman has also claimed the kitchen and bathroom. By that I mean all his stuff was everywhere and he never cleaned. 'I'm a man, I don't clean,' he would claim.

Of course I emailed and called Servatius about this several times, with pictures. Once someone came to have a look, who was also shocked by the state of everything. He promised a thorough cleaning and re-walling of the communal areas. This happened, eventually. The cleaning after 2 months, but that did little. Cleaning once does not just remove 12 years of cooking fat, mold and other dirt. A nice gesture, otherwise. The re-wallpaper did not happen. Up to 1 year and 3 months later. When I moved. The kitchen was hopeless, unfortunately.
Now I am finally gone, and I would advise against Servatius and certainly this particular room.

Terrible company. They make you feel like your the dirt under thier shoes. The house is renovated, but i think my 3 year old niece could do better work then they did. We have has so many problems living here. I never want to rent from Servatius again. Dont rent from them if you have any choice in the matter.

My sister has been on the street for seven months with three young children (11, 10 and 1) and yet according to this corporation, refurbishers are more entitled to a house than my sister because in their own words "it is otherwise a problem for the organization" . I would hope that social housing had its priorities in order. Shame

Several times sent a letter and called for overdue maintenance and mold in the home. every time it is promised that they will solve the problems but no and letters will not be responded to. rent for more than ten years and in those ten years they have never been to maintain the property.
