Everything as far as the service and the customer ...

Everything as far as the service and the customer service were excellent except for when I asked for help at the Nissan product area to buy something no one came for 10 minutes. The person I asked called someone on a desk phone to assist me but nobody ever came so my son and I just left without getting what I needed. There'd be a higher rating if I had gotten some assistance.

Gavin and his team were very prompt. He communicated with us on every step of our service and also encouraged us to make a near future appt. for our next appt. We were very impressed and comfortable of its social distance area room very well kept. We also paid cheaper than our estimated given. Great and awesome service.

Amazing experience and truly appreciative of the team that is there at New City Nissan.

Just to explain this, I had purchased at brand new Nissan Kick in late 2018. I bought this car for my daughter as my wife and I were leaving the island and my daughter was remaining behind to finish college.

Unfortunately, this Nissan Kick was anything but reliable and it spent more time in your maintenance facility than my previous 5 cars combined. When I came back for a visit here in March of 2021, the issues were presenting themselves again and I'd had enough of the issues.

I came into the dealership on 14 March 2021 and the efforts of Derek Kam, Miles Suguitan, and Derrick Murakami were absolutely phenomenal. I explained my situation, showed all the work that has been done on the 2018 Kick and there only response was what can we do to make this right. That blew my mind away, then they bought my 2018 Kick from me for more than what I owed, got my daughter into a 2020 Kick, exact same maintenance package, extended warranty and even tinted the windows as I had with the 2018.

Zero money down, 0% financing and I'm only pay about 4 dollars more than I was on the 2018. No arguments, no fuss, just the commitment of making a bad situation correct. All in all spent about three hours at the lot and walked off extremely happy and a very satisfied customer. The team there was very helpful and truly went out of there way to ensure my daughter was in a safe and reliable car, giving me and her mother piece of mind.

I am truly thankful for the New City Nissan team and would like to say thank you to Derek Kam, Miles Suguitan, and Derrick Murakami. Again, amazing customer service and truly remarkable performance by your team there.

New City Nissan has earned a customer for life with this performance. I will always look to your team and dealership when searching for a new car.

Not all happy, didn t like wait to buy a car for 30min, on a Sunday when it was not busy, didn t even say I ll be with you soon or something. As a result was the LAST one leaving the dealership.

Still car have some technical issues, afraid the engine will stop (Check Engine light), after over a month of purchase, but I need it for my work, my first thought was to not use the dealership after my bad experience but its too late now.

I felt it was all about making sales points , more then concern about my major investment $$$, if I had a do over, I would NOT go to this dealership because of this one person, no follow ups, no emails, just thank you for the down payment and my sales points, and give me a good review

Update: Bought another car from this location and ...

Update: Bought another car from this location and everything went smoothly this time around. I went back to Antonio and again he was very responsive and very helpful! I'm updating from 4 stars to 5.

I wish I could give 5 stars, but I had a bit of an issue with my car's registration and safety sticker being expired when I bought it. I would still recommend New City, as they followed through on all promises, fixed the issue, and gave me a refund of administrative fees, but the process did take several months. On a more positive note, my salesman Antonio was very responsive to my texts after I had already bought the car, and he worked hard to make sure my issue was corrected as quickly as possible. If you go to this location, I highly recommend Antonio, and if he gets a new job elsewhere, go see him there!

In short we bought a 2014 Leaf which looked great on quick inspection, we bought it at night didn't notice anything big till next day noticed scratches below passenger door. We contacted them right away, we got a bit of run around and were told we would have to pay for it ourselves if we wanted it repaired. The customer relations manager helped us and situation is resolved.

From the time we leased and now plan to own our Nissan, Rouge you all have been like Ohana. We know how hard you all are working during these Covid times and wish you and your Families Great Safety, Health and Strength! We especially appreciated the very wonderful service provided by Courtney, Burns, Meagan, Iris and Chandler. On the Service side, Courtney, Burns and Chandler were extremely Professional, Kind and took great care of our Service experience. We send them a Big Mahalo nui loa! When I took my vehicle for service, everyone was friendly and professional. There was freshly brewed coffee in the clean waiting area. Plenty of periodicals and newspaper to read. Clean restrooms and nice flat tv to watch + comfortable chairs. There also is a full view observation deck to view the technician working on my Nissan.

Was the 4th time I brought my car back for the braking sensor. Each time Jason Jenkins was absolutely professional made sure I had a rental car took care of everything and his follow up was exceptional. Keep up the great work Jason. Also I would like to give a shout out to meiko I hope I spelled her name right each visit I had returning the rental or getting a new one she was fast friendly and professional. My guest experience from both of your team members Jason and Meiko was a rating of 10 plus absolutely exceptional.

DO NOT GET AN ELECTRIC CAR UNLESS YOU CAN CHARGE AT HOME. The charger here is always broken, closed, or has a ridiculously long wait time. I leased an electric car from here specifically because it's on the way to work, but the charger is never available. In the last year, I could count on my fingers how many times I've been able to charge here.

My family went to another Nissan dealership first and wasn't able to find anything that was in our price range. We also didn't get all the information from the sales guy from the other dealership that was important to make a decision on a new car. Then we tried New City Nissan, and what a DIFFERENCE that made, we hooked up with Gavin Garcia and he was able to help with not only the car we were wanting but getting info on other possibilities. Gavin offered leasing and all the info that comes with it. Gavin let us compare numbers from car to car and we were successful in leasing a new Nissan Rogue!! Mahalo's yo Gavin and his team!!!

We didn't feel pressured into buying. Salesperson, Casey Ono was very knowledgeable of the vehicle we purchase. Every question I asked he answered and explained even more that I never thought of asking. He made buying a vehicle enjoyable. I know it sounds weird but the past experiences of other dealers, Casey is a topnotch salesperson.
As goes with the other employees at New City Nissan, I definitely will refer others to check it out.

Forgotten a envelope that I written some numbers on it and left it on the furniture which it only had my last name on it and the lady at front desk contacted me to let me know I left it back on furniture and she was able to read the numbers to me so I didn't have to go back. I came in with a unexpected flat tire while heading home and the first service member I had was not welling to do much to help with the price because I was not expecting to pay almost $300 for one tire plus the oil change I requested. But I am guessing he was going thru shift change and was just ready to go home so he was not truly trying to help me. But the second person that came in and took over for him and my car helped me a lot and came to sit with me and informed me that I should truly get two tires because it would not be safe and gave me a military discount and some adjustments on my oil change so the $300 I was going to pay just for one tire plus taxes and oil change only came out to $553 for two tires plus a oil change and taxes included. I was truly grateful because my tire going out on me was not planned in my day or budget. I really wish I remembered his name but he was awesome

I give a 4 Star because the first service member was not in a friendly customer service mood. Maybe it just wasn t his day but the rest of service members and even the car salesmen were great and showed me the new 2020 Max.

An oil change with an appointment took 1.5 hrs (I was late for work) and cost $84.95 for a synthetic oil change. Kauai Nissan cost a little over $42 for an oil change. What a terrible dealership. I'm never going back again.

Jason is phenomenal. Every time I have to bring my truck in for any type of service, Jason always takes care of me. He listens to what issues I need help with and he goes above and beyond to get all of my questions answered and reassures me that his technicians have inspected my truck thoroughly. He even took the time out to get me different price quotes so that I would have options when it came to purchasing my new tires. He also was able to let me know of their current promos happening which saved me money for my purchase. I m always very happy with Jason s excellent customer service!

I am happy with the early hours for service & comfortable waiting area. Appreciate the ability to schedule the next appointment on the spot & the complimentary car wash. There are duplicate efforts for me to trade in my 2011 Altima for a 2014. I spent an hour with Antonio & told him I am on a tight budget. He tried but could not match my financial request.He was professional & apologetic. I still recieve offers for trade in via mail & email. Maybe they should filter their results because I know the valuation of my car has not increased.
I do believe in feedback but I am getting tired of filling out a survey for New City Nissan & the manufacturer for each visit. I should be compensated for my time because I do put some thought & effort into completing the survey. I would prefer to just fill out New City Nissan's survey.

Your staff at New City Nissan Service is the best....

Your staff at New City Nissan Service is the best. I had left my mom with a caregiver so I could do some errands when my car started to act strange. Not wanting to be stuck somewhere without any transportation to get back to my mom, I drove my car to New City Nissan. When I arrived, I was told that there were no appointments for the day. After I explained what was going on with my mom, Chandler Miller, the service manager found a slot for my car repair. When I asked about a rent a car, he said that there were none available but he would arrange for a rent a car from Enterprise. He then drove me to Enterprise and made sure I was ok and all set up before he left. You have a customer for life! I switched a few years ago from Tony Nissan because of various problems with their integrity. I have never regretted it as New City Nissan is always so helpful and goes beyond the call to ensure I am taken care of and that only what needs to be addressed is actually addressed. Great job Chandler and team!

My service person Ashley was very helpful and does a lot of things for me...like each time I take my car in she will give me suggestions how to maintain my car. That is not the knowledge I would have without her help. I don't know anything about cars period.

Another thing she does for me is that she had my car washed each time I take my car in for service. That is extra and I had a fall and cannot wash my car after my injury. That was a big help for me!

What a day at this dealership bought cars here bef...

What a day at this dealership bought cars here before and this is what I get ... Drop the car at t 10am for my appt. Ask the guy how long it will take to fix it he said by noon your good to go so he ask me if I need to go somewhere and I said yes where the shuttle... come to find out there no available shuttle .. why offer something if you can't give it... waited for an hour still no shuttle no body even bother to ask if I still need a ride so I decided to stay... I watch their garage on how they work on the car notice that it's been good 1 hour and still nobody working on my car.. at 2pm I ask how long more do I have to wait and still tells me almost done they working on your car.. around the mechanic came back with food with him so should be by 2 they should be back it's 230 only now he came back 4 hrs to do safety check and to change the A.C hose wow... guys that came after me left already with almost same problem as my car and I'm still here waiting if they will ask if I still need a shuttle or update me on the car smh... Nissan waipio give better custo.er service than this people I ain't buying cars here anymore... really poor service...

Extremely courteous staff (service dept). As soon as I arrived I was offered a water and greeted properly. There's a courtesy shuttle van as well, to take you back home/work while you wait for your car repair. The quote for repair was very high, so after the diagnostic, we did the repairs ourselves, but the experience was surprisingly pleasant. If you have to wait around there's a new shave ice and bubble tea place not too far from the Jack in the Box.

Nice, clean, newer dealership. Went over to fast charge the Leaf. Charging is free to all Nissan owners. Just have to sign in at the front desk. They also have two (2) regular charge stations if fast charge is occupied. Aloha!

AWESOME!!! My wife and I live on Kauai and trying ...

AWESOME!!! My wife and I live on Kauai and trying to find the car in the color and options we wanted was difficult. We got a hold of Ke'ali'i Mahoe online and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was patient enough to work with us over the course of a couple of weeks going between the Rouge Sport and Rouge model at different price points. We finally decided on the 2018 Rouge SV model, and we were able to work out all the pricing via email. Ke'ali'i was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and he got us a great deal on the new vehicle. When it came time to make the purchase they picked us up from the airport and had the car ready to inspect and drive for us. All of the paperwork was ready for us and we never felt any pressure during the transaction. We were able to get in and out the door with the purchase of our new car within a few hours, and they brought us back to the airport to catch the flight home. My wife commented that it was such an easy and smooth transaction and it was a very fun and exciting experience. Ke'al'i and the staff will also take care of all the details and delivery of the vehicle to have it shipped back to us on Kauai. We highly recommend going to New City Nissan for all your car buying purchases, and make sure you ask for Ke'ali'i he is the best!!!
