Highly recommend this clinic. I went her for laser hair removal and an IPL treatment for the little red lines all over my nose and cheeks. The doctor was very professional and the manager was poised.

Seeing great results with laser hair removal & happy with my decision!

I first discovered this place from a conversation with a friend at work. I tend to like to do my own research so I proceeded to look online and read various reviews including yelp and so scheduled a consultation here as well as at 3 other locations in Redmond/Bellevue.

I have to say that my initial impression was:
1. that this is the only facility that I actually met a doctor (who actually did the consultation)
2. the information I received was clear concise and made sense technically -great explanation Dr. O'Connell
3. the actual price was better by far than the other places that I went
4. Front desk, management and technician also very informed, professional, and nice

After completing 3 treatments I want to say thank you Serenity Rejuvenation Center, and thanking my friend for recommending me. I am seeing great reduction in hair growth and look forward to no more threading.

I will post a recommended business card in our break room at work as I am so very impressed!

Dr. O'Connell is a brilliant artist

Always love going to see Dr. O'Connell for my Botox and injectable needs. He listens to what I like, and always achieves the look I'm going for. I've had Botox done by others before and no one compares to him. Not only is he great at what he does, he's so down to earth and easy to talk to! I always enjoy our chats when I'm in the office.

Great results with Kybella for my chin fat.Required less dosing and fewer sessions that what I had read about on other sites . I trust Serenity Rejuvenation Center, and Dr. O'Connell. Based on this, I actually have decided to go for the coolsculpting for my lower abdomen this week. Thank you and highly recommend !

I had one laser hair removal session done in Buffalo, and came to Serenity in Bellevue to do the remaining treatments. I was scheduled to go back to Buffalo for my 3rd treatment, but I cancelled those appointments because I found Serenity to be SO much more skilled and professional. The aesthetician marked off the areas of my bikini line with a white pencil and used a straight edge to get the perfect line (Buffalo office did not). The laser they use here is much less painful than IPL (Buffalo office uses IPL) and has a continuous, cooling flow of air that helps with pain. I loved the staff and doctor - all very friendly and professional. Very happy with Serenity Rejuv Center and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

The place is very clean, they take you in on time, the lady is helping me is very friendly. I definitely recommend. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because I am not really clear on how their prices work. I wish they had a pricing right in office. You should be able to see if you can get a discount on some services. My first purchase was less than my second one. Not sure why.

I totally recommend Serenity rejuvenation center!! I been getting laser hair removal since December 2019 and since the first session I saw a difference (now I want to get all my body done!!). It doesn't hurt as much as everyone thinks and is totally worth it!!
The staff is the best! Youngree is super sweet and professional! And Dr. O'Connell he is so nice and always making sure that treatment settings are appropriate in order for best results!

I've been seeing Dr. O'Connell for IPL treatments and his competent staff for laser hair removal for over 6 years and have always been more than satisfied by their professional service. I really like this place! The staff is very friendly. I am having laser done on my face and the results are amazing. All of the staff, Hailey and Christina, they are so friendly, and it is very easy to get the appointment or change the appointment. I highly recommend this place!

I had a good experience with laser---prompt, courteous and thorough. time will tell about the effectiveness, but I plan on returning for more treatments.

Great place with wonderful caring people that really want to help. My severe malasma is much better and Dr. O Connell is honest about how much improvement you will see with each procedure.

I wanted to share my thanks to Serenity . After having laser hair removal sessions in another country and locally at two other facilities totally 15 sessions on my face - I was still not pleased. almost no reduction in my hair growth. I tried to give a chance at one more place and chose serenity . I don't recall the doctors name, although he was very thorough and discussed in detail all the variables that can contribute to hair growth. The service from front desk, from the technicians was 5 star. I highly recommend. I have referred four of my friends and all very happy. Highly recommend .

I first visited Dr. O'Connell for abdominal fat and had a consultation for The Coolsculpting procedure. I was very impressed with his internal medicine knowledge. He explained that Coolsculpting was effective for subcutaneous fat and that for my visceral fat that perhaps we needed to look at my male hormones including my testosterone level. I am 6 months post procedure and am happy. I am 3 months into testosterone supplementation and am feeling much better. Highly recommend!

Dr. O Connell has made my initial experience with tattoo removal very pleasurable. He clearly has in-depth knowledge of laser treatments and is willing to answer all questions. After one session it is hard to see the results, but I can update this once I see how the treatment progress is going. looking forward to the journey ahead.

I finally decided to get laser hair removal for the back of my neck. I'm glad I decided to go to Serenity. The office is very nice and clean. The doctor and staff are great and very friendly. Most importantly they were very knowledgeable. My technician answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and was very thorough!! I know I got a great treatment because I can already see a difference after my first treatment. I'm definitely considering doing other areas since I see how great their lasers are. I definitely recommend this place!

I urge you to be very careful with your treatment counts when you buy packages for series of treatments. Apparently they have a total mess with tracking payments and treatments. As they admitted themselves they keep track of payments and treatments in two separate systems! I had one more treatment left from the package of three treatments, but upon arrival the manager started convincing me that my treatments are over because I did not pay for a treatment from previous package a couple of months ago!!! After long debate they provided the treatment but left me upset and feeling like I stole from the place. Also there is a big turnover of technicians so I am looking for a new place!

I d love to share my experience. I worked here long enough to see the unstable behavior from the staff( the doctor and his wife). After my training was over I was given a position to work here after they fired an employee for feeling scared of the doctor. They tried to give me her hours but I decided to refuse the position because of the way they treated her and because the doctors wife Youngfree was practicing laser hair removal on lots of clients WITHOUT a license. SO dangerous and unprofessional. Once I heard about this I knew I could not work here. My job is to help people so I would never want to be in a position of knowing someone could get hurt and not do anything about it. I was very disappointed in them as I was so excited to work at serenity rejuvenation center. So in the end I would not recommend getting treated here because they are not practicing right and I feel bad for anyone who has to be an employee here cause they could get their license taken away for even being apart of the scam. Everyone I knew around me quit also because we all saw the danger of what was going on here. Just be aware! Also the doctor is saying he didn t offer me a position but I have texts to show me being offered the position and me respectfully declining it. I wasn t going to write anything but once the doctor started harassing me about staying quiet, now I won t. I m not someone you can bully. Do things the right way and you won t have to cover your tracks doctor. Here is a screenshot to prove it!

I worked a full month here and during so I treated and talked to MANY patients that specifically told me they were treated by only Youngree(who does not have a license). There was times I came in with a mirror hanging in the room, if she was trained she would know how dangerous that is because a laser could hit off of it and hurt someone. This is why it is so important to be trained. All of the employees have complained and we have all talked about how horrible of a work environment it is. I am genuinely so disappointed in the doctor. It s embarrassing to work in the same industry as him. It s comical that he calls me a kid when I know better then to have someone who isn t licensed working with a laser. Here is some advice doctor: Grow up, stop harassing your employees who are starting to talk about how you treated them and the scam you are running. I feel genuinely bad that you have to live in fear constantly of your business getting shut down and you have to constantly cover your tracks. Sad. Be honorable and do things the right way.

I went here several years ago for a laser hair removal procedure on my face. Bait and switch marketing for prices, but decided to go through with it anyway. Staff was always courteous and appointments were on time which is the only reason I'm giving it two stars. The hair removal procedure was completely ineffective. I have straight black hair on fair skin, which is generally considered the ideal for laser machines to work on.

After 6 treatments, there was absolutely no reduction in facial hair anywhere where it was done. I did tell them this after the treatments and no additional treatments, discounts, partial refunds or explanations were offered. I'm not going to speak to whether or not the staff operating the machine are qualified, I don't know enough about it to say. The negative review is purely on the lack of good service. I suppose staff may have changed over the last few years, but I would recommend getting some kind of guarantee or going elsewhere if they won't offer that. I see most of their responses to negative reviews indicate success rates vary based on genetics and hormones, but that was not information shared when I first made the appointments and I never spoke with a doctor before or after the treatments.

I have had 4 tattoo removal sessions here at serenity. I am so glad I found this facility after moving from California. With its state of the art picosure laser and great location, it's a must for those wanting to zap away past ink regrets. They will give you the best results possible.

I visited Serenity Rejuvenation Center early November 2019 for consultation and botox treatment as I heard through friends that Dr. O'Connell was a skilled injector. I found the facility clean. Staff were friendly. Dr. O'Connell did a thorough consultation for my forehead wrinkles. I found him to be kind, professional, and knowledgeable. We did get before pictures as well. I decided to proceed. The procedure went well. I followed up yesterday at the three week mark and we took photos again. I am very satisfied with the result. I am also happy that - apparently we achieved the resulted with a smaller dose then recommended. I will be back !

I had my first appointment roughly 3 years ago to get the hair on my lower legs removed. I'm now back for the rest of my body. The staff are very nice and professional. My experience was amazing and almost painless *wink*...it's laser hair removal after all, but worth every penny and zap.

I went for cool sculpting and instead of pushing me to do all areas and charging a fortune they recommended that I try just one area to see if I really wanted to do it all. They even said they would give me the same discounts whenever I came back. When I returned they honored the price that was offered 3 months past. I will go back in several months and do a second session.

Dr. O'Connell and his assistant (Youngree )were so nice and made me very comfortable with my first IPL treatment.

Doctor was very professional and took time to explain the procedure and what results were expected to happen, including darken brown spots (not to be scared!)

He communicated with me entire time during the treatment so that I feel comfortable knowing that what was going on my face (big flashy bright lights!) and told me "this might feel a bit of pain" whenever sensitive spots were treated such as around mouth.
Luckily, I felt almost not pain! I think that it's due to the skill of the doctor and preparation played a huge role into that. (prep= numbing cream and being relaxed)

I would go back to them with same treatment, if needed.
Or any other treatments that I might consider to be done in a future!

Serenity was recommended to me by a fellow nurse and I was very pleased with the laser hair removal services I received. Dr O'Connell gave me honest advice about the services I originally requested and recommended a very satisfactory alternative. I've completed three treatments and every visit was easy to schedule, on time, and the technicians were professional and pleasant. I am waiting a few months to see if I will even need any further treatments because I'm so pleased with the results. Laser treatment is so much less painful than the years of sugaring and waxing! I have sensitive skin and I tolerated the treatments with minimal irritation lasting less than 24hrs. I wish I had made this investment years ago. I do recommend purchasing the numbing ointment, but even in the spots that I missed, it still was less painful than waxing/sugaring. I highly recommend Serenity Rejuvenation Center and hope to return for other services as well.

I am an engineer sitting in front of computer almost all day, and gained 40lbs in past 3 years. I tried several weight loss program either did not work or not sustainable.

I went to Serenity Rejuvenation Center for HCG weight loss program (40 days) in January in 2017, and I have lost 30lbs. This is the best weight loss experience I have ever had so far. In this program, I also got B12 shot to maintain my energy.

Doctor is really professional and himself has tried HCG in order to better understand the effect as well as how it can help patients. In this protocol, I seldom felt hungry, and because I was eating nature and healthy food throughout this protocol, I became even more energetic and was with better skin.

Now I am starting my 2nd around in order to reach my ultimate goal.

Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Just booked my next session.

I think they have old equipment. After 9 sessions I am not happy with the results. I have light skin, medium course dark hair. I should be an easy client for hair removal.

I tried out Serenity last year when I had gotten frustrated that nothing was working on my Melasma. They had the newest treatment, PicoSure, and after a consultation I signed up for 3 treatments over the next 6 months. Orginally, I went for the Melasma on my forehead but I had no idea it would also benefit my acne scars and other dark spots. I started noticing results after the 2nd treatment and then really saw a difference when I hit the 6 month mark from my first treatment. It's now been 9 months since my first treatment and I could not be happier with the results!! I wish I could post a before after picture to this review! My forehead Melasma has lightened and I did not notice how many dark spots I had on the rest of my face until I revisited my before picture...they are all completely gone now. My acne scars have also faded and my skin has a new glow! For the first time in my teenage/adult life I feel confident without makeup. I will definitely be back for maintenance and I highly recommend PicoSure and Serenity!

My mom recommended me Serenity Rejuvenation Center. She got a Botox treatment for her migraine when she was visiting Seattle and it did magic for her. The spa is clean and the staff is very professional. Dr. O' onnell was amazing and gave detailed information about the treatments. He treated me for Botox and Coolsculpting. The price is very competitve and affordable. Great experience during my business trip in Seattle.

I found this place through Groupon, and have loved it! I'm currently just finished 3/6 treatments, and have already seen about a 70% reduction of hair in my underarms. I initially only got the Groupon that had 3 treatments, but when I asked, they were willing to pro-rate the cost for me for the next 3 treatments! Everybody there is extremely nice, and they are very quick and efficient at their job! I am usually in and out within 15 minutes!

I have had a great experience with laser hair removal here. I had a total of 9 treatments on my back but I achieved the 90 % plus reduction that I was hoping for. The staff have been great from start to finish. I will be back for other services. The doctor actually performed the first several treatments himself, followed by the last 4 treatments with the same technician. The front desk/manager- I have dealt with each time I have been there has been nothing but professional as well. I actually booked a coolsculpting next week and am excited for that.

Got laser hair removal here and was totally blown away!

I've never had laser hair removal done before. I decided to purchase a Groupon for hair removal here and went for the full Brazillian. Having a lady you don't know put her hands (and a laser!) all over your junk was super intimidating in concept, but once I met the technician I felt really at ease - she's incredibly friendly and it wasn't at all awkward.

I have had two sessions of the Brazillian now, and each time took roughly 15 minutes in total, with an extra ~10 minutes for check in and finishing up. The laser removal process stung a bit, but it was nowhere near as bad as the internet made it sound like it would be. The closest comparison I can think of is pinching a bit of skin between your fingernails lightly.

The best part? After ONE session, I saw over 75-80% hair reduction in my bikini area. I was pleased as punch. (My boyfriend was, too.)

I'm considering getting the rest of my body done now, since the Brazillian process has been so painless. Super happy with my results and can't recommend this place enough!

Amazing and Lasting Results
I had stubborn belly fat and love handles which bothered me and won t go away no matter what I did exercise everyday, diet even fasting. I saw a Cooslculpting commercial on TV and decided to research it and I discovered Coolsculpting with Serenity Rejuvenation Center on Yelp. The friendly, helpful staff and Dr. O Connell helped me to understand what CoolSculpting is and helped me to define the areas need to be treated in order to achieve the kind of results that I wanted. The team worked hard trying to get the applicators positioned just right so I can get the maximum result. They treated both my abdominal area and love handles. Each session took 1 hour in total it took 3 hours which went by pretty quick watching Netflix :). In additional it was painless and allowed me to carry on my daily activities right away. I strongly recommend CoolSculpting at Serenity Rejuvenation Center for your stubborn belly fats. I am 8 weeks post proceedure and I am very satisfied with my results that I want to share my experience. I reccommended 2 of my friends already.

Pros: friendly, knowledgable, reassuring, non-judgmental aesthetician. Pricing was reasonable and straightforward. Scheduling was easy.

Cons: lots of ads everywhere for their services. Cramped treatment room. Did not see the doctor for my consult but instead my aesthetician texted him for approval to start treatment.

Overall: will be returning for the rest of my laser hair removal treatments, and possibly for tattoo removal services as well.

Laser hair removal review. Geez been since 2012 still 80 percent reduction in my happy area ( lol ) had children a burst of growth I will go back this month,,,, I only remember Dr O'Connell name don't remember tech name, but five star experience,

I first visited Serenity after purchasing a Groupon for 3 sessions at an amazing price. I had no idea what to expect during my treatment, but the technician walked me through the what would happen there and what I could expect both immediately after and long-term. You're supposed to shave before your treatment and when that hair grew back, it grew back much slower, thinner, and I saw a great improvement each time.

It may be just my built up tolerance from waxing, but the treatment didn't even hurt. They use a cold air that cools you at the same time as the laser so you'll never feel uncomfortable. The treatment only lasted 5 minutes max - much faster than waxing! After my 3 session were up, I went back for 3 more (6 are recommended for best results) because the price is just a great deal, even without the Groupon, and I'm so so happy with my results.

The staff was always very friendly and efficient, which helped make the experience great all around!

I have had great success with Serenity in regards to laser hair removal. Ruby is very professional and I continue to go to her for her attention to detail. She is super!!

I had one session of PicoSure treatment with the clinic and the result is fine. However, the doctor doesn't seem to care about his own business.

I got rescheduled last minute on the first consultation. The front desk can't even find the follow-up appointment even though I get the text msg confirmation from their system. I got rescheduled again. Then on the day of the follow-up treatment, I got another last minute reschedule.

So I cancelled and the front desk doesn't seem to care either. If they don't care, like the words from their own mouth: I'm fine with it too.

Dr. O'Connell and the staff here are great. I had an IPL facial with nice results and was finally rid of brown spots I'd had over 10 years. When they found out I was a pain wimp, they offered me numbing cream - no charge - and let me wait 45 mins for it to kick in, and moved my appointment out to accommodate this. Went back for botox and was pleased with that, too. I'll be back! :)

After going thru tons of laser hair removal reviews on google and yelp, I decided to go for an info session at Serenity Rejuvenation Center and had a very informative conversation with entire staff. Initially, I was nervous and a little scared about doing it on my face, but after talking with Dr. Stephen O'Connell, I was at ease. So far I have done 3 laser sessions, and I'm thrilled to say that I saw a major difference and more than 50% reduction after the very first session only. I have PCOS and hirsutism so laser is my only solution to stop shaving. After 3 sessions, I have seen more than 80% reduction in hair growth and I can go without shaving for weeks, which is a major relief since I used to shave every single day. Also had a bad beard shadow which is thankfully gone. Still need more sessions and I am definitely getting laser done on other areas too. I look forward to my sessions with at Serenity. Dr. O'Connell seems to be running the clinic well, as I've had two different laser technicians and both were very versed with a similar dialogue. I used to live in Bellevue and love the area so Serenity's location is perfect for me and there's always parking available. I have already recommended Serenity to my friends and family. Thank you Serenity for the help.

This work environment is completely unprofessional. You ask why?

1. The receptionist and wife of the doctor, Has no license to be working with lasers, Meaning she could easily hurt or blind a patient.

3. The Doctor has serious anger problems and probably needs to take some angry management classes. He scares all of the staff and patients that are there.
4. The Doctor is very touchy and feely to his staff, Which completely makes them uncomfortable.

This place needs to be completely shutdown and reported. Do NOT work at this place. And I do not recommend going to the place, It could cost you getting seriously injured.

For my anniversary present my husband is purchasing another round of coolsculpting at Serenity. Had one area treated 4 years ago and was excellent experience. Dr. O'Connell and staff top notch then. It appears that they have continued with that pattern so i am excited to get rescheduled.

I am getting married next year and have a few tattoos (large tattoos) I wanted to get removed before then. I've always wanted them removed but always hesitated because I was scared of the end result of possible scaring. I went in for a consultation, everyone was very educated and informative, answering all my question. The new picosure technology is AMAZING! I've just finish my second treatment and the results are magnificent!
Yes it's not a complete walk in the park, tattoo removal is not comfortable by any means but the doctor goes above and beyond to get you as comfortable as possible offering both topical and injectable anesthetic. Which helps tremendously!

I went here for my first tattoo removal session. The doctor fit me into the schedule very quickly. He spent time explaining the PicoSure removal. He spend a good amount of time explaining aftercare. The procedure was quick and professional. I did have a lot of blistering and swelling immediately afterwards (which could be my skin). I got some results not as much as I was hoping for which is not their fault. I ve been to other clinics with PicoSure and I just think this one was a bit more expensive. My tattoo is script so it s not very solid. So great doctor friendly staff easy scheduling.

I am amazed at the complete resolution of my tattoo after 6 treatments. It was ex husbands name- and have been in second marriage so it was a huge deal with us. The whole process was stellar - its a time commitment - but saved my current marriage- thank you Dr. O'Connell, and Young for the experience. Ill be back for other services.

I waited so long to write this review as I was hoping this business to take care of the mess they made on my face but that never happened. I have finished two of my three sessions, my face burned and there is a scar on my lip and they refused to do the third session nor refunding my money back.

Here is the story:
I had a laser hair removal session at Serenity Rejuvenation Center on Wednesday, March 21st at 12.15pm and it went awful! By the end, I was literally in tears because my upper lip felt like it was on fire.

A technician did my laser, I kept asking for breaks during the session and even had to move my face out of the way so she would STOP.

Anyway, my lip instantly scabbed and was burning for 72 hours after the procedure...even while constantly applying aloe vera gel. It's Nov 5th and my cupid bow disappeared as well as my upper lip line has no shape!!!

I contacted the clinic, talked to Dr. O'Connell but he was not helpful at all. He emailed me just to cover what his staff did to me but in reality, when I called several times and even showed up, they refused to help. I am now going to a dermatologist to fix the problem. It has cost me a lot of money and time. Horrible!

I cant say enough positive things about my experience at Serenity with Dr. O'Connell , and staff. Responsive in setting appointments, polite, professional , most importantly amazing results after 4 tattoo removal sessions. I had a black tattoo on my right shoulder- 20 years old and its gone! Well, I got tired of "being angry" and decided I need to un-frown.
Had 3 appointments with Dysport prior at a different clinic
- 1st treatment (not Serenity Rejuvenation) was a trial and was mere $80 (which I was never informed that the price will keep escalating) but lasted about 3 weeks;
- at my second visit (not Serenity Rejuvenation), the $80 is now $480 (Good grief, I am already an addict. now what?) which I was told it will last 6 months, well it lasted 3.5 months;
- at my 3rd visit (not Serenity Rejuvenation) I was quoted $600 and apparently I am in need of more "poison" and only have myself to blame for my high metabolism (umm my flabby tummy fat disagree!). Was told it will be $800 for Botox and *may* last a month longer.

Did a little research on Botox vs Dysport with the help of Dr. Steve (Serenity Rejuvenation) and honestly was rather hesitant to go to a new place for the fear of being "bulged" - you know, when the new place sat you down examined your face inside an invisible super eyes of theirs and it tells you exactly how ugly you are. They calculate your wrinkles, sun spots, the size of your pores, etc.... leaving you wondering what percent ugly you are as compared to the general population...

So on a Wednesday morning, I picked up my courage, packed my ego, boxed my self esteem, took an extra dose of Zyntac, went to see Dr. Steve and wait for him to endorse the prior statistics that I am 78 percent ugly, meaning less pretty than 78 percent of women in the world. On the popular 1-10 hotness scale used by males the world over, that makes me a 3 , if you round up.

And as I brace myself for him to tell me that my left side of my face is apparently 20 percent more aged than the right and it will be a monumental project to revitalize me, he said "you do not need much on your frown line, just the crows feet".

Next came the words of "Lay down please".... Oh really? I get royalty treatment? You mean I don't have to sit upright, clinched cross legged and watch you approach me with needles at eye level? It was much less "poke" than I had in the past with Dysport. After the procedure, Dr. Steve gave me an ice-pack and sat in the room with me dabbing off the melted ice (with traces of blood) off my face. I did not leave the facility driving off with a stabbing headache (which I was told it was normal) as when I did with Dysport.

Dr. Steve is honest and upfront with "3 days to see effect, 3 weeks for optimal result, 3 months to re-treat" and not sugar coat it with 6 months bogus claim. No, not $800, not even $400, a fraction of the price - as he does not inject unnecessary and I actually look "human", I can actually still frown if I want to - see =: )

Botox - Botulinum toxin, a neurotoxin! What in the world was I thinking (or obviously not thinking) before coming here to have a RN inject that shay on me? Insist on having A DOCTOR administer it!

Came to Dr. O'Connell and Serenity Rejuvenation for melasma and Picosure treatment. This is becoming an explosive phenomenon in other asian country which is where I had heard about. I had another laser treatment that had made my melasma worse. Dr. did great job, also prescribed post treatment hydroquinone after treatment until follow up. They used cold air on my skin for pain and skin protection. My melasma is 90 percent better thank you!

I recently came to Serenity for TMJ symptoms and a botox consultation. The parking was easy. The facility was clean, they offered me a mask for COVID-19 protection. I was comfortable with the consultation and proceeded with the treatment. I just wanted to thank Dr. O'Connell and his assistant, I believe her name is Young! I am 3 weeks out and my pain is gone, and my jawline is sharper. Thank you so much to the both of you for the high quality of care and professionalism ! Professional consulting, andvanced equipment, great service with a smile, easy scheduling and they send you a reminder before the appointment. I have had 2 out of 3 laser treatments and I am very happy with the clinic so far.

I tend to be a skeptic when it comes to new things. I met with Dr. O Connell at Serenity Rejuvenation Center last spring and committed & completed his 40 day weight loss program, and I literally lost 42 pounds. After the program I basically started eating my pre diet way- which is relatively healthy, but a lot. I expected to gain all the weight back. However, as he stated- my metabolism was reset, and while I did regain some weight, I am still 35 pounds lighter 7 months later. Post Thanksgiving Holiday I will restart a 23 day program and hope to drop closer to my ideal body weight. I am close at this point and am excited to get there.
The office is clean and comfortable, the staff always friendly and professional and they are always accomadating when scheduling appointments.

I could not be happier with my experience with Serenity Rejuvenation Center! Everything was so easy- from scheduling my first appointment, to consultation, to the actual appointment itself! Dr. Stephen and his assistant were fun, kind, professional, and engaging throughout every part of my appointment. I felt like all of my questions were answered and that they had my best interest in mind while explaining to me what their process was and while actually going through the procedure of removing my tattoo. I went for cool sculpting and instead of pushing me to do all areas and charging a fortune they recommended that I try just one area to see if I really wanted to do it all. They even said they would give me the same discounts whenever I came back. When I returned they honored the price that was offered 3 months past. I will go back in several months and do a second session.

This place is a SCAM!!!!!. STAY AWAY!!!! Got the 6 laser treatment, where on two of them they did a horrible job, so I had to go back for touch ups. After my 6th treatment they doubled the price if I wanted to purchase more sessions. They don't care about the quality or customer satisfaction. They just want your money. They will do poor job, so you buy more sessions from them.

A review of results after 1 year:

I feel bad leaving a negative review because the technicians who I met were SO nice, but the treatment was only about 10% effective. I paid over $3000 total for laser hair removal services. While I noticed a reduction/slowing in hair growth initially, it was pretty much pointless because about 1 year later it was back to 90% of what it used to be. 10% reduction is not worth it IMO. It's been 2 years, and here are my current results:

Arms - no difference/reduction
Legs/elsewhere - 10% reduction overall, but on darker areas like knees there's no difference.

Laser hair removal works specifically by targeting the pigment in your hair, and the setting the technician uses makes or breaks the efficacy of the treatment. The uneven hair reduction (e.g. knees are basically the same as ever) shows that there was no adjustment/consideration of the skin tone variation - just went over the whole area with a single setting. I have pretty light Indian toned skin with good contrast, but I still had really poor results, so if you're anything other than pale/very white with dark hair I would strongly reconsider coming here.

I'm so sad because I invested a lot of time and money here given the positive reviews, but my honest results were negligible. A lot of the reviews here are short-term and incentivized (they give people $20 off for leaving a positive review) - so I would take them with a grain of salt.

I'm in the process of finding a new aesthetician/dermatologist to redo all the areas that were treated at Serenity because I didn't get the permanent results I was looking for/expected with laser hair removal. Some people have! But just be aware that, at least in some cases, you could still have 90-100% hair growth after everything.

I'm leaving 2 stars because the staff here were so pleasant.

I got a laser Brazilian package, and will be purchasing other packages here. The staff is awesome; they re friendly, patient comfort is a priority, and they re quick and efficient. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for laser hair removal.

This place is amazing! From the building, staff and the advanced care and practices they offer! This was my first tattoo removal and i made search to research and find the best place. I heard many great things and also saw so many great stories of people who had their tattoo removed there. I noticed that other places did not show pictures and offer any stories. This was a big deal for me going in and i was more than impressed once i arrived. The lady at the front desk is very knowledgeable and helped me book the appointment. She was very kind and sweet and really made me feel at home. I then met the doctor who was very informative and caring. He explained the different processes and how things would go during my procedures. I am someone who asks A LOT of questions and not one time did I ever feel like i asked too many questions and he answered every single one with a tremendous amount of patience. The procedure itself was great! I have heard so many stories about the pain you have when getting a removal and did not feel that way AT ALL. The pain was minimal and the results are definitely worth it! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for tattoo removal or any of the other amazing services they provide. Best experience!

I am getting laser done on my face and neck. Have already done 5 treatments, and have seen a good amount of hair reduction but still continuing. The procedure itself is not painful at all and my technician is very friendly and I feel very comfortable with her. I am about to start laser on other areas soon. Definitely recommend Serenity to anyone who's thinking of getting laser done.

I totally recommend Serenity rejuvenation center!! I been getting laser hair removal since December 2019 and since the first session I saw a difference. It doesn t hurt as much as everyone thinks and is totally worth it!!

I have lived in New york, San Fran, Houston, and have never ending laser hair removal sessions. I have to say at Serenity Rejuvenation Center - the Dr. O'Connell consult and screening questions- brought up the issue of PCOS. I have been telling my various primary care doctors that my periods are irregular and I have hair issues- not one has made any recommendations. Now I feel like I have understanding of what PCOS actually means and will starting his management program in addition to the laser treatments . Very impressed!

Dr. O'Connell is amazing at what he does. I've been seeing him for hyperpigmentation on my face for the last year and have noticed a dramatic difference in color and size of spots. I would recommend people to Serenity. I am happy to the PicoSure treatment. All the staff and Dr. O'Connell are nice and friendly. Assistance always make sure I am comfortable during the procedure. The procedure is little pain at the first treatment. The second time is way better. I am sure will be back to have the PicoSure treatment and recommend to anyone who want to remove dark spot.

I went to Serenity Rejuvenation Center in October of 2019 for a consultation for the Mira Dry treatment. I was really nervous but felt like the procedure was necessary as my under arm sweating was out of control. Dr. O'Connell and his staff were able to answer all of my questions and ease my anxiety. The procedure went how it was explained and Dr. O'Connell and his staff made me as comfortable as possible. Dr. O'Connell followed up with a call a few days after. It was greatly appreciated to have the extra support. I highly recommend at least a consultation at this facility as there was no pressure, just good information.

Old laser, not effective hair treatment. Disappointing

Moved away from the area a few years ago and am back. Have had great experiences with Dr. O'Connell and botox and am excited to resume treatments as the treatments I received on the east coast seemed over or under done and I actually gave up on Botox. Happy to be back and will be booking again soon!

I first visited Serenity after purchasing a Groupon for 3 sessions at an amazing price. I had no idea what to expect during my treatment, but the technician walked me through the what would happen there and what I could expect both immediately after and long-term. You're supposed to shave before your treatment and when that hair grew back, it grew back much slower, thinner, and I saw a great improvement each time.

It may be just my built up tolerance from waxing, but the treatment didn't even hurt. They use a cold air that cools you at the same time as the laser so you'll never feel uncomfortable. The treatment only lasted 5 minutes max - much faster than waxing! After my 3 session were up, I went back for 3 more (6 are recommended for best results) because the price is just a great deal, even without the Groupon, and I'm so so happy with my results.

The staff was always very friendly and efficient, which helped make the experience great all around. I can't wait to try their new Miradry procedure to cure my sweaty underarms!

I'm writing the feedback on behalf of my wife. She past her 6th appointment for laser hair removal. She likes the customer service and she's finally happy with the technician she has. The results, however, are not satisfactory: the hair goes out for 4 weeks or so, but then regrows almost fully again. Now she has maybe 10-20% reduction, and is not sure if it worth the cost to continue. She asked if it's possible to see the doctor for consultation, but the answer was that he usually work with only certain treatment areas and hers is not the one. We understand that generally there are many factors in the equation, however we would expect a little bit more guidance on what are the odds of success in her specific case, and not the general statistics.

I visited Serenity Rejuvenation Center for tattoo removal. The staff and Doctor were wonderful. They made it a very pleasant experience. The results were good as well.

Great experience overall. Thorough consultation process with Dr. O'Connell process who knows his profession. Techs and front desk wonderful. Had greater that 9o percent reduction in laser hair removal in the area treated year years ago will be will reyrning soon for a different area. I have had several cool sculpting treatments (arms, legs and stomach) and am pleased with the outcome. The down to earth nature of Doctor and Youngree is pleasant and comfortable. They take the time to listen to your needs and work diligently to accomplish them without hesitation and will listen to your concerns. I feel their goal is to make sure the patient is completely satisfied. I felt very taken care of at Serenity.

Before I went to see Dr. O'Connell at Serenity Rejuvenation Center in Bellevue I suffered with profuse underarm sweat but just out of my right armpit. This went on for more than ten years. I was soaked every morning just driving from my home to the office. No physical activity at all and I went through hundreds of shirts over the years. The odor was horrible as well. So finally a few months back I heard about Dr. O'Connell with Serenity Rejuvenation Center in Bellevue and a procedure called MiraDry. It's a laser procedure that stops sweating and odor issues and I am all better now after more than 10 years of not having a clue what to do.
