Dr. O Connell is second to none! He has been an immense help in removal of a tattoo and his attention to detail has been stellar. I am having Picosure treatments for dark spots on my face. Dr O'Connell does terrific work. I am super pleased with the outcome so far. Overall, I rated Serenity Rejuvenation Center 4 stars due to poor communication of scheduling snafus. Otherwise the treatment is 5 star.
I had my first laser hair removal procedure today at Serenity. The process was seamless. Parking was ample, front desk was professional, doctor did a thorough consultation , and the nurse or technician seemed very good. The procedure itself didn't hurt as much as I had read that it might. They did offer numbing agents in the future if needed. I'll absolutely be comfortable referring my friends here.
I has very bad experience at this place. I will never recommend anyone to go for his place. They don't care about customer service. They know how get money from the customesr's.
I have been going to serenity rejuvenation center for a little over a year for laser hair removal on the bikini area. I've had 10 treatments and the hair is gone! The service is always exceptional and the technicians make you feel comfortable. My favorite is Rudy. She is very thorough and personable! I highly recommend this spa for your laser hair removal needs!
Staff is good and knowledgeable and place is clean but its a no-frills place. Cold lobby (ambiance and staff), minimal chat with staff and not a whole lot of communication.

I visited center for laser hair removal. I got 6 sessions done and saw a great difference in hair growth. Shannon did all treatments for me and she did an excellent job. Almost 90% of hairs are gone. Very happy with result. Highly recommended:)

Right now I am removing my tattoo with picosure tattoo and it's the best laser for tattoo removal. I had 5 treatments somewhere else with regular tattoo and it was slowly fading. I wanted faster results and I am so happy there is picosure on the Eastside.
I had only 2 treatments with Dr. O'Connell and my tattoo is almost gone. The removal is faster than regular lasers, and those 2 treatments did more than the previous 5. I suppose to have 8-12 treatments with nano laser and it was dragging. I wish I chose pico laser from the beginning.
I never get any numbing cream but thats the option. My tattoos are small and I could stand the pain. Honestly the pain is significant at the beginning so be prepared. Much worse than getting tattoo.
My tattoo is black and old, but I think Serenity's laser also works for color ones.
Everybody in the spa is nice and professional. last time I came for my appointment which turned out was the next day but very nice gal tried to accommodate me and she did squeeze me in- I appreciate that!

I also found out they carry newest laser for removing sweat glands if you don't want or can't use antiperspirants. I have a friend that uses botox for excessive sweating so that's something cool.
I had my laser for my face here.Igot a deal of $350 for 6 sessions.I had 90% results.Good place and friendly staff.Loved it.Happy I selected this place.I say this bcos I stay in federal way and I had to drive to Bellevue for my treatment.But it's worth it!!
I have been to Serenity Rejuvenation Center twice now for a tattoo removal (a band on my upper arm) As painful as it is to feel the zap of the laser, it is great to see the tattoo fade away. I would highly recommend Serenity for any tattoo removal.
New Year - new me? Right? Yeah - perhaps. I have been aware of Coolsculpting for a few years and just to obusy to actually follow through. My lifestyle consistent. Just getting older. I decided this year I was going to check it out. Money isn't an issue for me , however I did my due diligence and did two consults in Bellevue. I just felt more comfortable with a physician doing the consultation breaking things down in a very clear manner and not a high sales (bubble gum) pressure environment at all. I just liked Dr. O'Connell - so actually proceeded to do the treatment that day. I felt well informed- office clean, very professional- and easy - with no pressure at all. It just felt right. Thumbs up on presentation and I look forward to the results!
For quite some time, I ve had sun spots on my face which have bothered me. I have tried using various creams and even micro needling to target them; however, none of that has been been effective. I found Dr. O Connell on Yelp as he had amazing reviews and I decided to schedule an IPL treatment. Initially, I was scared that it would be painful, but it was completely painless! There was also no downtime at all. It has been about 2 weeks since I ve obtained the treatment and I can definitely see great results. My skin is clearer and brighter.
Before the procedure, the doctor made sure to ask about my goals and medical history. He openly advised me of the risks and benefits and answered all of my questions. He also used the picosure device to remove darker spots. I highly recommend Dr. O Connell and his team at Serenity Rejuvenation Clinic!

Started off with Laser Hair Removal at Serenity Rejuvenation Center. Dr. O'Connell performed the consultation and went in to depth how the hormones can influence hair growth. Sherry did the laser treatments. Great experience. I then decided to go for botox , albeit I was a bit nervous, Dr. O'Connell went through the history of the various FDA approvals for the different cosmetic areas. He actually deviated from the recommended dosing and injected less and with killer results. I appreciate the conservative approach, am now a big fan and will be back. Thank you Serenity Rejuvenation Center and Dr. O'Connell for your knowledge and expertise.
Absoutely horrifying experience with this clinic.
I went to this clinic to do the picosure facial therapy and I found out that the doctor missed the few spot. So I requested to do missing part that i wanted to cover on the 2nd visit. For some reason, their attitude was not same as my 1st visit and everyone there was very rude to me. I asked the doctor to do the missing spot but instead he did the same spots that he already cover few days ago when i visited first time. He kept saying the spot that I requsted was not the target and it is alreay covered. I have done many picosure therapy and i do know that it was not covered. After i got 2nd treatment on same spots my skin got burnt badly and it is taking long time to recover. I called the other clinic to find out if that is ok to re-do the same spot treatment within few days they said patients should wait for about 6 weeks to recover to re-do the same spots. I really did not like the service i have in this clinic at all. When I asked for some refund for not being satisfied fully or not receiving the service fully they strongly refused to do so.

My wife had service from here with HCG diet. And she lost more than 15 lbs in 2 weeks. She followed it's guide book and and called and asked whatever she was not sure on diet foods and supplements. The staffs were kind and knowledgeable to make my wife successful. During 3rd week, she had plateau but she wanted to go one more week and see how far she can lose weight. She said she became more energetic anf healthier after losing 15 lbs and she looked nicer with more confidence. I am appreciated to support her successful diet on Mrs. Cho.

Great find! I first found out about Serenity Rejuvenation Center through a Living Social deal for laser hair removal (large area). I had six treatments for a single area and was so pleased with the results that I went back to do a second area. I researched many places before choosing Serenity for laser hair removal and I was not disappointed. Dr. O'Connell and his staff are always kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. I have only tried laser hair removal treatments here but because of how well it has worked I am going to look into more procedures as well! I highly recommend!
Honestly I m very surprised how this place has good reviews. I was greeted with no one walking in for my appointment. The technician did not seem prepared and confident in what she was doing. I called multiple times to get a receipt, and never received one after two weeks of calling. I ve gone to the center and the doors were locked in the middle of the work day. Do not come here for laser hair removal!
I presented with complaint of 5 children abdominal child birth and loose skin. Dr. O'Connell and Young his assistant - talked me through the options. I had a series of 4 Radiofrequency/microneedling sessions . The dr. was awesome at explaining the technology- over my head a bit, however he truly knows his profession, and explained very well. It was the most academic consultation I have ever experienced. ( even though I am a nurse practioner ) but yeah amazing results. Young is so sweet and they clearly work well together . I am a loyal consumer of Dr. O'Connell and his staff. I have several other items on my wish list that I will trust them with in the future.! If I could give 10 stars I would across the board - scheduling, consult, treatment, follow up. Great crew!

I purchased the 6 sessions of laser hair removal treatment for Brazilian and I am very happy so far! It's very affordable, and all the technicians that I had very extremely friendly and make sure you are comfortable during the procedure! I can't remember all of their names, but I had 3 different ones and they were all great! The procedure it self is very quick, and they provide numbing creams to buy, and it made a huge difference on the pain! My hair is growing back thinner, and is so much easier to shave now. I am thinking of doing laser hair removal on other parts of my body. I highly recommend this place!
I got the Mira-dry treatment done to eliminate sweat and odor and my experience was so amazing! I was really nervous because of reviews I read and watched online prior to my treatment and after getting the treatment I can say I wish I had never watched those. I nearly backed out of doing the procedure because of them. But I am beyond thankful I followed thru! The procedure itself was practically painless..maybe two spots on each underarm that I felt the laser on and they were tolerable and only lasted seconds. The numbing was the most pain and even that was not considered painful. A few pokes in each underarm. After the treatment I got very swollen and I am on week three of recovery and still have some swelling and lumps but not major, everyday it gets better. I am beyond happy with my results. I haven't worn deodorant once since the procedure. This is so worth it and I can honestly say life-changing. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience!
This place is AWESOME! They're on top of it! I made an inquiry, was contacted same day (didn't respond because I was terribly busy), then recontacted a couple days later. I've never done laser hair removal before and they patiently walked me through every single step of it. I was so appreciative. Katie is stellar when it comes to making you feel completely comfortable throughout the process, giving you a heads up on what to expect and reassuring you that all of your questions are valid. Not sure if I can request anyone to actually perform my appt, but I'm definitely going to be sure I rearrange my schedule to ensure Katie is the one I see for all future appts. I've already recommended them to two people and I'm sure that list will grow. Can't wait for my next visit!
This place is a joke. Schedule 3 times. Made sure I was good on my side of things (child care, work, and etc.) Each time, they rescheduled with no consideration for what a potential client might have to do to schedule with them. Not even a common courtesy of apologizing for the inconvenience.
Why in the world would I trust them with my physical image if they fail so bad at a simple task of scheduling...
This is regarding Dr. O'Connell's Preventative Medicine/Men's Health Program. Great value for the expertise provided. Clearly well read and well educated. My program included consultation, lab interpretation, lifestyle discussion, medication management, symptom monitoring, body composition assessment . After having signed up for a year long program at another Bellevue Testosterone mill, this was an entirely different experience. Akin to a concierge medicine model. 5 star. This doc knows his stuff! Highly recommend!
I have been a triathlete for the past decade. Now near fifty - a few years ago I sought out reasons why my performance had been slipping. I have been pursuing nutritional , hormone, and supplementation expertise - and doing so through another facility. Through my own research I began question the administration of the hormone replacement piece of my my program. Namely testosterone shots and blocking estradiol. I sought ought a different opinion through SRC and Dr. O'Connell. I have achieved better steady states of testosterone, my lipid profile has improved and my estradiol is up ( not blocked). Through the research presented to me the estradiol piece has been an important deviation from my prior protocol. I am very happy with the expertise at SRC and with Dr. O'Connell . Highly recommend.
Fast but pain controlled
Tattoo Removal with PicoSure is definitely the number 1 choice that I will recommend to any individual who want their tattoos removed. After getting frustrated with traditional Q-Switched tattoo removal treatments (after 5 treatments) and with only minimal improvement I decided to find a better solution. Googled and found Picosure the newest tattoo removal equipment. Since Serenity Rejuvenation Center has Picosure I made an appointment with them for consult only. The facility was nice and clean. Lady at the front desk was super nice and answered lots of questions I had prior meeting the doctor. The consult with Dr. O Connell was very helpful to further undertand the process of tattoo removal. Apparently the older your tattoo it responds better. I felt pretty comfortable and decided to do the treatment right after my consult. Doctor did spot treatment fist to test my pain tolerance. I have to admit it was a little painful so they provided injectable anesthetic which helped a lot to numb the area. My tattoo is pretty small size of a kiwi. They charged me $249. It s the deal they are running on groupon. Affordable place in Bellevue. Also, the end results is fantastic as my tattoo faded almost 85% after only one treatment. Again, I am amazed with the results and would recommend Serenity Rejuvenation Center to get your tattoos removed.
I've been going here for LHR since 2014. The quality of my treatments has varied highly depending on which technician I've ended up being treated by. I've learned to make an appointment with a specific tech the next time if I think they performed well. Some techs will take their time, meticulously making sure to not miss any spots, like Amanda who did my most recent treatment and was the best tech I've ever seen. Other techs will go too fast and carelessly, firing the laser fewer times for the same area as if they're just trying to get it done with. If I had met the good techs like Amanda and others every time I've gone here, this review would have been 5 stars.

I am getting laser done on my face and neck. Have already done 5 treatments, and have seen a good amount of hair reduction but still continuing. The procedure itself is not painful at all and my technician is very friendly and I feel very comfortable with her. I am about to start laser on other areas soon. Definitely recommend Serenity to anyone who's thinking of getting laser done.
I initially discovered serenity rejuvenation center from viewing a laser hair removal promo I saw on groupon. I then went on their website as well as yelp to see what other services they offered along with other people testimonies.
First off, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this place was a one stop shop (for self improvement) to get all the services that I was interested in.
Secondly, I was VERY impressed how quickly and upfront they responded to my email. Some places make you jump through hoops just to get pricing on their services. This place didn't. I emailed them what I was interested in and they provided me with the price and setup my initial appointment via email.
Third, the staff is great!!! All of the people here that I've dealt with are very helpful, kind and informative about the services they offer.
Fourth, the location is very convenient!!!! Located on a main drag... close to the freeway, shopping and downtown bellevue.
Those are my top 4 things in general that I really like about serenity rejuvenation center.
As for the services I purchased from serenity rejuvenation center.... First, I gotten the laser hair removal package off of groupon. I just finished my second treatment (you get three) and I can see a reduction for sure. Hair is still growing but not coming in as strong as before in some spots.
Also, I just had my second treatment and most people need 3-6 treatments. So its to soon to give a complete review on that.
The other thing I purchased was their weight lost program. I'm currently on my second round and its been great. I lost 29.8 pounds on the first round and I already lost 9.7 pounds during my second round (only been one week on second round). Its a tough program (especially at first) but Dr. O'Connell provides good tips and info to help you through.
This place is worth checking out for sure!

Finished series of 6 treatments on upper and lower back laser hair removal treatments. Shaving is essentially a non issue now! Very difficult to shave your own back so I'm very thankful for this! This was the first time I used such Center and the staff was very professional, I got exactly what I expected from the information provided beforehand and on top of that I could use my time efficiently looking at some stuff I wanted to do for some time.
I love Serenity, they do a really good job with laser hair removal and their machines work really well! I feel like they are trying to find and target the hair rather than just hit you with a laser all over and hope for the best.
I just completed my treatment of 6 and I've definitely seen results, I'm going to need another 6 treatment, but it's a pretty difficult area so I'm not at all surprised. I will definitely be staying at Serenity to finish it out rather than seek out another place because I think they do a really good job.
My only small complaint would be that I wish that I could have the same person work on me every time. For armpits or legs it's not that big of a deal but when your having someone work on places a little more intimate it gets a litttttttle awkward when every time I go in now someone new is there.
I finally decided to get laser hair removal for the back of my neck. I'm glad I decided to go to Serenity. The office is very nice and clean. The doctor and staff are great and very friendly. Most importantly they were very knowledgeable. My technician answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and was very thorough!! I know I got a great treatment because I can already see a difference after my first treatment. I'm definitely considering doing other areas since I see how great their lasers are. I definitely recommend this place!
I finally took a chance at laser hair removal. I was very skeptical and initially tried it with a Living Social (or was it Groupon or Amazon Local?) promotion. My conclusion: It works!
I think it can get expensive to keep visiting to completely remove all hair in certain areas, so that's something to think about. While some staff encourage you to keep coming back, one staff person mentioned that you might decide it's "good enough" to reduce the annoyance. So far, I've done my lower legs (large area) and armpit (medium area) and am happy with the results. To be honest, I don't enjoy all the zapping an was hoping it would be totally pain free. I guess I would compare it to eyebrow tattooing with a needle. I guess that's the price of convenience and wanting to be stubble-free.
Haven't had any issues with the staff or customer service.

I purchased a Groupon to get my bikini line done at Serenity Rejuvenation as in the past I have been disappointed with other places that shall remain nameless (Aura Laser) ;-) who were to say the least a complete waste of money! When I first made my appointment the technician was on time, very polite and we talked in depth about the different laser machine options I had available and what may work best for me. This is the first facility that I have gone to that has more than one type of laser machine! I had six sessions with my Groupon and I kid you not that after the first treatment I could see a huge difference in the growth and the hair was coming in finer! I just got my 5th session done and the bulk of the hair is already not growing back. I would definitely recommend Serenity Rejuvenation and have been telling all my friends. I will definitely be returning there to get my legs done next!!!
I got the hydra facial for $250 and it didn t do much for me. After my appointment I wiped my face with a makeup remover wipe and the wipe picked up dirt and oil. I ve gotten a hydra facial before from another spa and it made my skin look incredible but the one from Serenity was not good at all. I called and told management and they said they couldn t do anything except give me another treatment that I would need to pay for. I wouldn t recommend this place. It s expensive, not very professional and the service I got was not satisfactory.
I am so impressed with Dr. O'Connell and his staff at Serenity Rejuvenation Center. I have gone through a complete tattoo removal process and the results are even better than I expected. The attention to detail and professionalism is off the charts. I have also had Dr. O'Connell preform Mira-Dry for sweating. It took two visits, but was definitely worth the extra pump. I trust his advice on what to do to help my skin look the best it can. I am excited to go back to him for a few more anti-aging procedures. Dr. O Connell and his assistant (I forgot to get her name!!) were so nice and made me very comfortable with my first IPL treatment.
Doctor was very professional and took time to explain the procedure and what results were expected to happen, including darken brown spots (not to be scared!)
He communicated with me entire time during the treatment so that I feel comfortable knowing that what was going on my face (big flashy bright lights!) and told me this might feel a bit of pain whenever sensitive spots were treated such as around mouth.
Luckily, I felt almost not pain! I think that it s due to the skill of the doctor and preparation played a huge role into that. (prep= numbing cream and being relaxed)
I would go back to them with same treatment, if needed.
Or any other treatments that I might consider to be done in a future!
My entire experience here with their laser hair removal services has been awesome! Getting laser hair removal has the potential to be an awkward and uncomfortable experience, but Dr. O'Connell and Suzanne were very professional and knowledgable, answering all the questions that I had. Serenity has a variety of lasers that they use depending on your skin type and skin color. Suzanne used the Yag Laser on me because I'm darker skinned and have black hair. I've had a total of six treatments, and I've experienced about a 95% reduction. I will definitely come back here for any touch-ups that I may need. I did not use any of their skin services, but plan to in the future.
Went to Serenity Rejuvenation for the first time back in December to start laser hair removal for my underarms. I bought a 3 session package through Living Social at a great price. The office is clean, and the staff is nice (not the snooty stick their nose up types you typically get at spas). First, Dr. O'Connell sat down with me to go over some medical history and the procedure. Then the laser tech took me back to the treatment room. I can't remember her name, but she was a sweetheart and walked me through everything. I was definitely nervous since I wasn't sure what to expect, but she explained everything before she did it and made me feel comfortable, at least as comfortable as you can be while getting lasered! It definitely hurt, but it was super quick. Maybe 30 seconds per underarm. My underarms were a little sore for about 30 minutes afterward, but then it was totally fine. And don't be alarmed by the burning hair smell, apparently that is totally normal!
I am going in for my 3rd session today, and assuming they can offer reasonable pricing, will likely purchase another 3 to make sure it is effective. I'm not sure what their pricing is like on IPL facials, but it's something I might also consider at the right price since I've always had troubled skin.
If you have been considering laser hair removal (and I sure have been for a while), I would definitely recommend Serenity Rejuvenation!

I scheduled an appointment for 2:00pm and arrived at 1:50pm. The office was closed and locked. I waited around for about 15 minutes with no luck.
I came a long way for this appointment and am pretty disappointed that I came all this way for nothing. I received no communication that my appointment had been cancelled or that the office would be closed.
I don t appreciate my time being wasted and would recommend others not to waste theirs at this establishment.

Time came to start thinking about slowing down a bit those lines of expression, it has been a few times and ready to share that Dr. O'Connell knows how to keep a fresh look, how much and where you need it! Believes that each person is different and I love look like me minus the unflattering crow feet. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went here after recommendations from a friend for laser hair removal. Everyone was friendly, the price was excellent, and it was fast! I later came back for coolsculpting and I am just starting to see results from that (it's been a few weeks). Overall awesome!

The price is very high and the machine does not the newest one. I did first treatment for removal my tattoo in this place on September 25th that my tattoo is a very small and simple dark heart in my finger, they charge me $275 for each treatment. I bought the cream here and spent $12. The total price was charged me $291??? Even if taxes were included, it wouldn't be that price. After then, I ve researched online and went to other stores to compare the price. I went to 3 different laser/picosure stores, the price are $65-$80 for each treatment to small tattoos removal. Except for the colorful tattoos. Other stores machine are newest than this place a lot! Don t waste your money here! You will regret it!!!
I have known Dr. O'Connell since meeting him aboard a plane from Seattle a decade ago. On one of my annual trips to Washington State, I went to the Serenity Rejuvenation Center for Botox injections. Dr. O'Connell and his staff were extremely pleasant and explained the procedure to me, allaying any anxieties I had at the time. I highly recommend the Center and its staff.

After only four PicoSure laser treatments my upper back tattoo is gone! The office staff are great and pricing was very fair. Hopefully I won't need additional tattoo removal work in the future, but I'll definitely return if I do!
I have been seeing Dr. O'Connell little over a year for tattoo removal and I am extremely happy with the results and his office. His staff and himself are very kind, caring, and thorough. Although the removal process is painful, his staff is always on hand to make it as comfortable as possible. Overall very amazing place to get any cosmetic procedures done.

Relatively new in town and looking for a physician well versed at botox. Serenity Rejuvenation staff were professional, Dr. O'Connell was personable, and he did a great job. My angry lines and horizontal lines are now smooth. I have been over injected and under injected before at different facilities in California. I was hesitant to try a new place, but Dr. O and Serenity exceeded my expectations and at a reasonable price! I'll be back!
It has been over 5 years since I have been to Serenity Rejuvenation Center. I came in August 2020, and was pleasantly welcomed by Young and Dr. O'Connell whom I had met 5 years ago and is great by the way.
I came for one laser hair treatment touch up and Crystal was also great. Its been a few years so I also decided to add some botox for the first time, which I am also delighted with! I cannot say enough about the high caliber precision this place offers, combined with professionalism, and staying up with the trends in technology! If I could give 10 stars I would.

To provide some background, I had little hair to start with, or at least less than average. Prior to coming to Serenity I also was waxing for a long time, where a wax would last around a month or so and my skin never irritated from either hard or soft wax.
I was super nervous coming in because I've never had laser hair removal done and on places sensitive such as my face, I was nervous laser removal would leave a scar. I also have naturally tan skin, another factor that I believed made me a candidate for negative results.
The staff was very kind and helped ease my nervousness with facts, case stories, and careful preparation. The process hurts a bit. If you think about getting a tattoo, that's kind of how it felt.
Riana performed my first procedure and she was great! Super nice and calm, helped ease the nervousness.
The results have been awesome. After my first treatment my hair was nearly all gone. After my second, the results were definitely not as dramatic, but I can still tell hair is slowly disappearing. Typically they recommend six treatments, but I imagine I will need less after how my results are going so far. Thanks so much Serenity I'll be back for all laser hair removal needs!
I had the most horrific experience with Dr O'Connell at Serenity Rejuvenation. First, he was about 45 minutes late. No apology, no nothing, just an air of arrogance. Then when I was all ready for the hair removal procedure, he had to step out of the room, leaving me waiting for another 20 minutes. Again, no apology. Then when we finally get around to doing the procedure, he aggressively applies the machine nozzle or whatever it's called to my under arm causing severe pain. The whole time, his assistant is in the corner yawning. Really bad experience, poor bedside manner. Or maybe he's just inexperienced.
I have had 4 tattoo removal sessions here at serenity. I am so glad I found this facility after moving from California. With its state of the art picosure laser and great location, it's a must for those wanting to zap away past ink regrets. They will give you the best results possible.

I searched various providers for coolsculpting and was just impressed with the vibe that I felt with overall reviews.I actually purchased a groupon and the price was much lower than other places. Upon arrival - Front desk woman Young was very friendly, doctor stephen did a thorough consultation. Its kind of cool they have two offices on the same block. The office that we went to - the lighting was perfect, relaxed, quiet, and the two of them clearly work well as a team. Its way too early to project about results. I added areas based on my desires -and comfort and trust with the two of them, and we did partial treatment today and will continue next week. My review at this point is based on kindness, knowledge, thoroughness, and ease of the process. Very comfortable coming back to doctor stephen and young for appointment next weeek!
I've been going to this medical spa for the last four months for laser hair removal. It's working and not that painful! I recommend this place to any of my friends complaining about unwanted hair. The staff is very nice and I have always felt very comfortable going there. I'm going to try the facial peels next!
These guys have been nothing but great. I had some laser hair removal done at another place and they weren't thorough and were slow. I saw results here right away. The staff has been really accommodating and sweet. I recommend this place to anyone who wants anything done.

The technician I worked with on 3/21 was amazing! She was so friendly and accommodating and thorough for my laser hair removal. I will need to wait a few weeks to see what the results are but experience wise, they are quick and friendly!

I completed my first laser hair removal session this week. I found Serenity to be a very clean well decorated place. The staff were all very polite. The doctor actually did a consultation which was very thorough yet concise. The nurse was friendly and proficient. I have had laser hair removal elsewhere and I have to say this experience was very different , much more streamlined. Oh and the cost was great! I look forward to the results. Thanks Serenity
I've had laser treatments over the last two- years at other facilities and I have to say without any hesitation that this was by far the best experience! Scheduling was easy; the staff was friendly and 100% professional. The laser technology used is "state-of-the-art" and it really makes for less discomfort and thoroughness. Dr. O'Connell is up on the current techniques as well as technology and can explain it in terms that are understandable. Highly recommend Serenity.
I went to Dr O'Connell @ Serenity Rejuvenation about 8 months ago for laser CO2 TO minimize wrinkles. After the treatment, my skin was slightly
more smooth, but my wrinkles were just the same, to be honest. Over the subsequent months, any slight improvement I had in texture disappeared.
Dr. O'Connel said it would take 9 months to see improvement. That doesn't make any sense when my skin texture, wrinkles, etc. were just going in the opposite direction. If anything, you'd expect it to improve slightly each month until the max at 9 months. $2K was a lot pay for 2 weeks of minor exfoliation.
Dr. O'Connel (at this point I don't feel it's appropriate to call him a doctor any more - you'll see why) "graciously" agreed to redo the procedure.
That's in quotes because it's not gracious if you screw up the first time.
Now I have to go through all the pain and downtime and stress again!
My appointment was at 1:45pm. Someone called me and told me to come in 45 minutes early so they could apply numbing cream. I called them back early on in the day and said I could apply it at home and come in at 1:45pm instead of 1pm, so I wouldn't have to sit around there for 45 minutes.
I arrived at 1:45pm and I told the staff again that I applied the numbing cream already. I sat there in the waiting room for an entire hour. Having seen 3 patients come in, wait, and go in the back room for treatment, I was getting pretty irritated at this point. I must have asked
3 or 4 times - when am I going to actually get my appointment. I was given a vague answer each time - soon. I repeatedly told the staff and Mr. O'Connell that it had been over 1.5 hours since the numbing cream was applied.
We were trying to reschedule when Mr. O'Connell sauntered in with Bella. I asked why was I waiting for an hour. I did not yell, I did not wave my arms wildly, I spoke in a direct and confident voice. Mr. O'Connell told me he wanted the numbing cream to be on for at least 45 minutes. I told him, again, it had been on for 1.5 hours; apparently he can't hear. Then he started to accuse me of creating a problem by raising my voice and he said this in a very loud, annoyed, accusatory, and rude voice, the very thing he accused me of that wasn't true. Then he threatened not to do the procedure, saying he was doing me a favor by redoing it. Well, sort of. He didn't do it right the first time, so it's really NOT a favor then. I wanted to get it over with and therefore didn't respond to his continued rude accusations. I, the patient, had to calm everyone down, and move them in the direction of getting it over with. Mr. O'Connell continued to go off on me in the procedure room. I tried to calm him down by saying "it was a miscommunication, so let's put it in the past and move on". Bella also joined me in trying to get this guy to shut up. But, he wouldn't. How unprofessional! He kept complaining.
After the 3rd time of saying "it was a miscommunication, nobody's fault, let's just put it in the past." Finally, he repeated what I had just said 3-4 times. I kept thinking, I'm the customer, this is a service business. If you can't handle giving service, you shouldn't be in this type of
business.
By the time we finally got started, I imagine the over the counter pain killers and numbing might have been wearing off because it hurt like hell.
It was so bad that I really just wanted to stop. At this point, I was cursing Bella for talking me out of the prescription pain killers. But, I sucked
it up. Bella encouraged me to go on. They gave me a script afterwards - it's really too late for that - didn't need it afterwards.
My guess is that Mr. O'Connell is very new at this because he didn't seem to have any process for how and when patients are supposed to come in for their
procedures. And the staff was mostly ignorant on the process too. No, I would not recommend Dr. O'Connell or Serenity Rejuvenation. He is very unprofessional. I got no results that he promised and I think he just wanted my money or he could be inexperienced.
I've been coming to Serenity Rejuvenation Center for nearly two years now for IPL treatment and now (occasional maintenance ) as well as for botox with Dr. O'Connell, and will continue to do so as I am very pleased. Most recently I decided to take advantage of a coolsculpting promo ( buy 2 get 1 free) and just went through the treatment . I Feel like the treatment was very straight forward. The procedure for 3 applicators took just over 3 hours. In the beginning of the treatment with placement of each applicator there was suction and very mild discomfort however within 5 minutes I was so numb that I couldn't feel anything around the area, it was painless. During the treatment I watched Netflix and just "chilled out" lol-no pun intended. After the treatment I continued with my daily routine...Amazing. I am very excited to see the results.

I have gone to several places for Botox and am so happy that I found Serenity Rejuvenation Center in Bellevue! Dr. O Connell is really good at what he does, and it shows in my results and the loyalty of his clients! He gives me honest opinions which sometimes result in me getting less units than I initially thought I needed, because he feels that it's unnecessary or for the particular spot it's better to go with less. I have always been very happy with the results, and feel like they last longer than they did when I use to go to other places! The price is on target, but the expertise and results are above average! +A for Bellevue Botox!

I went to Serenity Rejuvenation for IPL, and had a consultation first with Dr. O'Connell. He was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. Going in for the IPL, the assistant took her time cleaning my skin first and Dr. O''Connell performed the procedure, testing my skin first, and then performing the procedure, which he talked me through so I wasn't surprised at any point. The pain was manageable, and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. The price was reasonable, I didn't feel pressured to buy some kind of package. Overall, I was happy with the experience!
