This company not right. Me and my mother grieving the lost of my brother my only brother who passed away last month my mother paid they insurance faithfully for 4 years never missed a payment in what they did to my when it was time to pay wasn't right at all so I wouldn't deal with them at all

I have been harrassed by phone almost daily by one of their agents. You can't call back because they all call from the same 844 number. I've requested through their online page for them to quit calling. He just called again today on a holiday. Would never do business with them now!

Agent for this company very bad practice replacing business from previous company they had worked for. Contacted their regional director, he was uncaring and unethical. Some clients were furious when they learned they had to begin with a new 2 year contestable clause. Unethical practices and upper management uncaring. Lack of concern for clients. Had to threat contacting insurance commission to encourage unethical practices.

If you care anything about your family, don't purchase this insurance! All the five star reviews are from employees of the company! My mom died 10 and a half months ago, and we have been waiting all this time for them to approve payment on her policy. Finally they made a decision and say they mailed a check almost a month ago that we have not received. Apparently it was sent to an old address, despite me updating the address with the supervisor, Savannah, in June. All my other mail forwards to my new address, but mysteriously not this check. They told me wait 2-3 weeks and call back and they will cancel the check and send a new one to the correct address. When I waited the required amount of time and call back, my claims agent, Haley (are you recognizing these names from the reviews?) is suddenly not available and a very dismissive woman stated she will "let her know that the check didn't come." I called back the next day and was sent straight to voicemail. I am losing hope we will ever receive a dime of this money after putting off expenses for almost a year, expecting this money to cover it. Every time we call there is another excuse! I can't believe how crooked and heartless these people are! You're better off putting money in a savings account for your family or dealing with a better, reputable company.

I can t really say anything on behalf of the clients . As insurance agent . Be careful. Don t get recruited by them . I got recruited last Sunday . I had to pay the fees to join the company which I didn t mind since they made it sounds like they are offering something like no others . After I joined and took their training video . Then I realized that they can only offer extremely low face amount to the customers. To me , I can t help my clients with this type of face amount especially in California. So I decided to back out of the company . And now I got a statement saying I owe them 34 bucks . From Sunday to Monday , I didn t order any leads or do any business with them . How could I owe them money . This company is not very well regulated and offers such extremely low face amount ! Rip off their own agent. Be careful of what you do with them !

What better company to have my whole life insurance with then Senior Life Insurance. It is rated A+ and it is a trustworthy company. They have live costumer service representaives M-F 8:00 to 5:00 pm. People working there are Awsome and direct you to the right person. You can trust them to do business with you forever. You are in great hands:)

I have been with the company for two years and up ...

I have been with the company for two years and up till today I have been very happy. I was verbally told that I was not on auto-debit by one of their staff and then there was an auto debit for my premium, I then call to have them reverse the debit and they would not, ignoring the fact that their staff told me that I was not on auto-debit. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM A COMPANY THAT CALLS THEIR CUSTOMERS "LIARS" If I didn't have money invested in my policy, I would cancel it and find another. I am very very very unhappy with this company.

This is by far the most crooked insurance company out there!! Stay away. Read these reviews. I can't understand how a company that operates like this stays in business. Worthless policies. What is the payout rate? If you have medical records more than likely your beneficiary won't get a dime. I was really surprised to see that someone else received a paid-to-the-estate check for returned preminums. I'd like to know how many of those are cashed. $$$ IN..0 OUT.

Id give them less than 1 star if i could, although I truly believe they have good products.... the staff SUCKS.. They are RUDE and unprofessional. I called today so they could help a client. The woman that answered the phone said "YA" i said am I speaking to Senior Life, she said YES I said is that how you are supposed to answer? also their lead department is ridiculous, there is a guy Wade, he is a JERK and unprofessional...Too bad they cant find good people to work in their office, might be a better company

ALL insurance companies offer limited benefits in the first two years. Senior Life is no exception. The policies also disclose that if there is a preexisting condition and not disclosed, they will request medical files.

I work for a different company and we too, advise all potential clients of
"graded coverage" if there is a preexisting condition. Some buyers tend not to hear this disclosure. That is why it is spelled out in the policy that is delivered. All consumers have 30 days to review and have the option to cancel if there is something in the policy that they do not like.

Senior Life Insurance may be getting a bad rap due to people unfamiliar with the law. They expect to pay a little in and get a windfall out.

One of their agents came to my house about three weeks ago. He seemed like a nice man. He stayed about an hour. I told him I cannot afford any more insurance. He has called several times since and I haven't answered the phone. He came back yesterday and went to both doors beating on them and ring the doorbells. I called senir life and told them about it and requested that they tell him not to come back to my house, that he doesn't seem to understand that I cannot afford any more insurance. They assured me that he would not be back. Today I went to the drugstore and when I got home, their was a note on my door like a UPS or FedEx might leave. It said to call and reschedule a time for delivery. I saw that the name was the same as the senor life agent.I live alone, my husband died last year and I'm 67. I called senior life back today and they told me that they can't do anything about it, that their agents are contracted out. Now I'm feeling very unsafe. I don't know if I go outside, is he is going to pull up and or or what. I'm fell like I'm being harassed or stalked.

I have no experience with this company, and I won t have. THE EMPLOYEES are giving reviews of themselves, so they have a better rating than they would have. To me that says VERY SHADY COMPANY, if they are as good as they, say they are, why are they rating themselves ? They need to be Honest and let the people whom have had an experience with them to be their voice. If they don t like the rating, they need to fix the problems, then and only then, will they get to be a Good & Honest Company.

I was able to get verification for insurance polic...

I was able to get verification for insurance policy my cousin that died. Very fast. Just sent a copy by email of the death certificate and the check was released for payment. I will be contacting them for my insurance as well.

My mother had purchased a policy with Senior Life....

My mother had purchased a policy with Senior Life. She had disclosed information pertaining to her current health condition and her application was accepted with her existing conditions. My mother passed away in January of 2017. Her death benefit was denied due to pre-existing health conditions. So basically my mother was paying into the policy for nothing. Don t believe the commercials you see on TV and don t choose this company.

The worst ever! First if someone knew they were going to die before 2 years; I'm pretty sure they wouldn't go with this company in the first place. Their questions are tricky for an elderly person. They do everything in their power not to pay! CROOKS!

This company called and called and called me until...

This company called and called and called me until I said OK I will give them a try. The Worst company ever. Asked for my premium payment not be debited on the usual date and to take off the card on file due to changing to an out of town credit union. Representative was very snipping and stated As long as I get her the information before the debit date they would not run the care. I told her to change the dam date and take the card off and allow me to pay on 12/22/16. Well obviously she did not for low and behold they run my card and I get dinged for $29.00 overdraft fee. Cancelled policy today....Rep asked if I was told I need to submit a letter in order to take my card off file....I relied No I was not told. Long story short ....Stay away from this company!!! We seniors have enough to deal with.

Worst Insurance company in the world!! Do not trust! I wish i could give negative stars, after my grandpa passed away they didnt give his beneficiary any benefits. They claimed to find something in his medical records that claimed grandpa smoked. He never smoked in his life! We asked for copies pf his records and they have yet to send anything! Its been months! Do not trust them with your money

This life insurance company is amazing they are quick easy and very convenient.They came to me all the way to Monticello. Jay also is very nice and he help me get everything started at a very affordable price.I highly recommend senior life to anyone interested in affordable life insurance for themselves as well as the entire family.

They seemed good when having an active policy but when you need to claim it they are just like all the rest. Find another company than this one.

Also keep in mind almost all of the five star reviews are of employees forced by higher ups to do damage control. Very shady and immoral.

You know right away that if there are a bunch of 1 star reviews and 5 star reviews, then most, if not all of the 5 star reviews are phony. There can't possibly be such a huge spread. Also, I only see their ads on the cheap rerun type channels, with a lot of 'only sold on TV' products . Please go with a reputable company.

I would give them zero stars if it were allowed. Senior Life Insurance is a scam. Unethical, and uncaring. If you or a family member are considering them, don't. As you can see from several other reviews, this company is awful. I will be reporting them as well. My mother passed away in September, and when I called to file the claim, the lady was extremely unpleasant to speak with. Did not even say, "Sorry for your loss," just went straight into how my mother died within the two years so there will be an investigation. I was told that I need to contact every single doctor she has seen, and have them send in all of her medical records. This includes and urgent care visits and hospital visits. If they do not receive all information, they will not be able to process my claim. I did as I was told and sent in a signed release for them to obtain the records. A few weeks later, I receive a check in the mail for 1 premium and a letter explaining that they denied the claim because my mother had taken a prescription that disqualified her from receiving benefits. This company is quick to take your money, and will go to great lengths to make sure claims are denied. The check they sent was made out to my mother's estate, rather than the beneficiary, because the claim was denied. So now, I am unable to even deposit the check to help pay off funeral expenses, because I have to wait for the probate to be complete. It is disgusting how they are taking advantage of elderly people for profit. Avoid this company at all costs. Your beneficiary will probably never receive the policy benefits you think you are leaving for them.

Worst company ever ! My Dad pasted away 9 months ago from a massive heart attack, with no previous history of heart issues. They keep sending my Mom letters stating they are still investigating. WHAT? All his medical records indicate no history of heart disease, and they have spend 9 months trying to find something. They take advantage of seniors ! I'm so glad my policies are with good, well known companies ! They don't deserve ANY stars, and will be reported to the Insurance Commission and BBB !

If I had three hands, I would give this company three thumbs down, and a negative star. I personally believe this operation is phony and is designed to prey on a certain demographic of people. I will be yet another person filing a claim against them on through the BBB. I literally called them every day for 5 days straight just to speak with a person to begin a claim, which I was greeted by the illustrious answering service, who would take down my information and tell me that someone would contact me within 24 hours. For 5 days this went on. I finally had to escalate through the answering service, just to get a call back???? What kind of operation is this? These company is a joke, seeking to prey.

Originally the interaction was pleasant. It was not until the check was mailed to the incorrect address that things took a turn for the worse. The check mailed June 13 and I notified them June 26 that they sent it to the wrong address. Asked them to put a stop payment on the check and reissue to the correct address. On July 15 I was told it would be up to 60 days for a stop to be placed and a check reissued, even though I am the payee and requested the stop because it was never received. Spoke with their accounting department and dealt with the most incompetent group of people. They had no idea what they were talking about and lack even the simplest common sense. I'd say upper management and the Powell's only care that their wallets continue to grow, not the fact that they are making what is already a difficult time due to the loss of a family member and even more difficult and frustrating time. If I had known years ago when my father was looking for insurance what I know now, I would have steered him clear of this company. TERRIBLE

Do not choose them for your life insurance if you expect it to be on time and if it's lapsed I need to not report any new updates with your information you can guarantee your parents if friends and family will be burying you to.

I just received a phone call claiming to be this company. They were calling me from a spoofed phone number. When you call from a spoofed number that is tantamount to lying to somebody. I refuse to do business with anyone that lies to me before they even say a word. This company takes your information and then sells it to third parties. Do not do business with anyone that operates in this manner!
