It can be very busy on weekends and holidays, but is very worth visiting as it's got almost every single fashion brand and high end brand that you might want to take a look. It's also got cafes and restaurants for those who fancy a bit of rest.

Fantastic shop with a lot of history. The wines and spirits department is well worth a visit on the lower ground. Great range of drinks, especially gins and Whiskies with very helpful and knowledge staff.

I was served by Tea, Rossella and Ivan on the 3rd floor MAC counter. Such lovly, friendly and helpful staff. They were professional and made me feel vauled as a customer. Thanks for the great make up look and your fab customer service guys!

Honestly... the scent/perfume counter is the first...

Honestly... the scent/perfume counter is the first thing you walk into when you go here... and GOT DAYUM. It smells like garbage. Honestly ... all the mixed up perfumes. its horrible.

I walked in sneezed immediately and didn't stop sneezing until I'd reached the rooftop bar where upon londons sweet sweet air helped dry out my streaming orrifices.

Super fancy department store! The food hall is awesome, amazing shopping and the staff was great. They even have a Pat McGrath labs counter which is some really amazing makeup. Go there and browse if nothing else.

Absolutely disgusted with the level of service or ...

Absolutely disgusted with the level of service or i should say lack of service i have received from Selfridge today. To begin with my order was delivered a day late, that i can completely understand and can forgive. When my order did arrive today i was surprised to find the trainers sent to me were not the ones i ordered, not my size not even the same brand. I have absolutely no idea who's order they have packed with my delivery label but this is just not acceptable for a huge company like selfridges. I contacted customer services and in fact was still understanding, after all mistakes can happen, expecting to find customer services will clear this up & send out another pair and have the wrong ones collected, which to me is pretty basic customer care skills especially when they as a company are at fault and let a customer down. Had this been the case i would be retained as a happy customer as i require these trainers for Saturday leaving sufficient time for next day delivery, but no. I was told they will have to have the wrong order collected, investigated, upon completion of the investigation will i have my refund. can they send me out a new pair, no i will have to re order them myself & pay for them again. I cannot believe they can make such an error & then make me feel as if i have done something wrong that requires an investigation before my refund can be processed. I am also outraged that i have to take time out of my day to re order & pay for this item when it was their error why would not they just send out another pair. When i eventually realised that they were going to do nothing to help me i asked if the item was in stock in my size for me to replace the order so i could hopefully still have them in time, i was told yes by Chris the customer services manager. After putting down the phone i went on-line to find they were out of stock!! I cannot put into words how disgusted i am with the way this company has acted after a mistake on their behalf. I expected more from you selfridges!

Purchased an item of clothing for a corporate even...

Purchased an item of clothing for a corporate event, which I tried to return a week later due to the incorrect size. I couldn t find the receipt the previous sales rep had given me but I was able to provide bank statements showing the purchase. After arguing with me for over 10 minutes, the rep called her manager who then refused to serve me. I decided at that point to leave the store and take my complaint further. I taken the complaint straight to the complaints department through the online channels and after sending bank statements I was refunded a lengthy two months later. Furthermore, they had the nerve to ask me to return the item to the store. Terrible service from such a big brand, you would have thought at least compensate for the inconvenience or don t inconvenience me by making me return an item to the store which i happen to live far away from. You have lost a once valued customer!
