Absolutely disgusted with the level of service or i should say lack of service i have received from Selfridge today. To begin with my order was delivered a day late, that i can completely understand and can forgive. When my order did arrive today i was surprised to find the trainers sent to me were not the ones i ordered, not my size not even the same brand. I have absolutely no idea who's order they have packed with my delivery label but this is just not acceptable for a huge company like selfridges. I contacted customer services and in fact was still understanding, after all mistakes can happen, expecting to find customer services will clear this up & send out another pair and have the wrong ones collected, which to me is pretty basic customer care skills especially when they as a company are at fault and let a customer down. Had this been the case i would be retained as a happy customer as i require these trainers for Saturday leaving sufficient time for next day delivery, but no. I was told they will have to have the wrong order collected, investigated, upon completion of the investigation will i have my refund. can they send me out a new pair, no i will have to re order them myself & pay for them again. I cannot believe they can make such an error & then make me feel as if i have done something wrong that requires an investigation before my refund can be processed. I am also outraged that i have to take time out of my day to re order & pay for this item when it was their error why would not they just send out another pair. When i eventually realised that they were going to do nothing to help me i asked if the item was in stock in my size for me to replace the order so i could hopefully still have them in time, i was told yes by Chris the customer services manager. After putting down the phone i went on-line to find they were out of stock!! I cannot put into words how disgusted i am with the way this company has acted after a mistake on their behalf. I expected more from you selfridges!
