It's OK, stuffed with Asians buying premium brand items. Confusing layout had to walk round several times to find the opticians. Friendly door staff, in fact all the staff seemed polite and helpful. So I give 4 stars.

Selfridge's is one of the best department stores in the world if not the best if you are looking for all of the best designer brands under one roof I can't think of anywhere outside of New York where you can get this level of fashion in one place

Personally I see selfridges as Harrods less conceited sibling. Of course, the shopping experiance is second to none in the ambiance that channels through the store but the end-game is to make purchases and I prefer the staff and sales approach here as you can ask for a shade of contour and not have the salesperson try to sell you a Lamborghini to match it!
I had a personal shopper names Kerry who was simply amazing, she knew what I wanted before I did. All the styles she provided me with were nothing less than stunning and although I did not go for half of the selections, she did not change her initial attitude and turn stern as you get with Harrods personal shoppers who are bitter when you do not purchase their entire style selection as if to subliminally state that you have waster their time!
Will absolutely be visiting again ensuring that her exemplary assistance is provided.

Massive store. Has loads of concessions in it for most of the things you would expect and more. Lots of floors. Escalators and lifts are available. Always really busy. Has toilets but always has queues for them. Has some lovely food places in the food court area for if you are hungry. Can spend ages waking around this store.

Selfridges has everything you need. After birthday present shopping I enjoyed delicious oysters and champagne in the food hall followed by a lovely Reiki Massage by a handsome Polish boy called Chris on the lower ground floor. Highly recommend it!

Awesome shopping experience, especially at Christmas. Selfridges is a premium store, with premium brands so expect to pay premium prices. Worth it if you love to shop and appreciate the finer things in life. Must see for visitors to London.

Fabulous store, much like Macy s of NYC this place has everything imaginable and more. They even have a bar and restaurant downstairs. It was also very helpful to have a specific place for tax exemption with a line that moved quickly (I was 18th and was done in no more than 15 minutes)

Incredibly inefficient telephone system, not the fault of Selfridges' operators who are obviously given the maddening training instruction "before anything, insist on getting the customer's name and then constantly address them by it."
In spite of this, Selfridges are unable to put you through to anyone in the Oxford Street store, I hung on and waited several times while customer services tried vainly to connect me but was told each time "the store is very busy and cannot reply, please ring again later." There is no direct number for customers to contact, so one can only continue to repeat this rigmarole. Selfridges should take a leaf out of John Lewis' book, John Lewis are prompt, efficient, courteous and their stores actually answer their telephones.

It is famous and an iconic establishment on Oxford Street.

Well known for high end shopping, it has everything you may want to check out and buy.

They have lots of staff in every departement

The displays are well designed and laid out. The perfume shop occupies a prominent space as you enter from Oxford Street.

Huge areas for mens and womens clothes. There is a cafe in the basement.

The store is lnown for its Christmas sales. Some of the Christmas decorations were already on display.

The service and ambiance are great.
