Staff are rudem get better service in Harrods though Selfridges has more stock usually

A very posh shop downtown London centered on luxury articles ranging from clothes and shoes through electronic and watches to food. Difficult to judge because at this level you're entitled to differ from the main stream. As a personal opinion, of a person with rather conservative tastes, I find clothes here rather loud and provocative trying to become from a shop for the few, a shop for the many, conceding to the latest fads. I find myself better represented by other shops in the area. I must say, though, that the other shops, too, have adhered to the slimline nonsense that makes you look more like a bellhop than a gentleman. Large variety of products, rather pricey. You would expect more attention from the personnel.

So much selection and great for gifts. I saw an Arsenal player last time I visited selfridges

Classy American style department store on the high Street in London. Needed some new luggage... Picked out a nice set. Great service does still exist.

It has everything you want under one roof! From Topshop, to Depop pop store to Fendi/Hermes.

Even if you are not purchasing anything they have events that you might like.

It were not properly transport and the street were closed.

Staff surprisingly antagonistic for somewhere clearly preying on people to overspend on things they don't need. Last time I was here staff were so helpful that I was actually looking forward to come back. Now, think we're reached peak Oxford Street, lets leave it to the tourists.

This iconic shop as a child was very exciting but as time has gone by a lot of things traditions and standard for me has gone down hill and will never be reversed what ashamed maybe it's me showing g old age nah!! never.

Working in retail, this place is a DREAM. They really do have every brand worth carrying. The visual merchandising is so impressive, people spend hours just window shopping. At any given time, there are pop up shops and custom stands - also worth checking.

For fashion lovers, slot out a morning to walk the floors. Grab a coffee from the 1st or 4th floor. You won't be disappointed.

The first time that I have ever felt the need to not pay the optional service charge was when I went to Elan for cake.
