We have used Scranton DCJR for service on both of our vehicles for years now. We are usually satisfied with the work done on our vehicles but, at times, the service experience left a lot to be desired. The wait times for drop off/pick up are long and difficulty making appointments (it's not unusual to reach voicemail during business hours) can be frustrating. We have always been treated with respect, but at our last visit our service adviser Clint Bendar went above and beyond to make us feel valued. He got us in and out as quickly as possible at drop off and pick up, as well as thoroughly answering our questions and making sure we got timely updates during the entire repair process. His dedication and friendly demeanor made for a great experience.
It was a little less of service than I'm used to maybe because of covid they didn't even bother to wash my brand new Jeep gladiator oh well that's what you get for being a nissan family.. ken pollock nissan family always makes sure your vehicle is clean when you leave because they are proud of their service and excellence

From the first minute we met Richard Fissler, we felt at ease and comfortable, Great Customer Service!
We went there to look at one specific vehicle that was listed on their site.
We had looked at several other vehicles at other dealers in our price range and this one was well above our expectations in quality and condition.
Richard spent the time with us and never pressured or rushed us. We went there 3 visits to complete the deal and even took a day to think about our purchase after the first visit. It is a big decision spending this kind of money. We went back to put our deposit down and a second test drive, and the last visit to finish the paperwork and bring our new to us, 2010 Jeep to her new home.
He followed through on promises and even brought up things we didn't think to ask about. It really felt like he wanted us to be Comfortable and Happy with our Purchase, not just sell us a car. We forgot to ask about the Carfax, and it was in my email before we got home from the first visit.
We will be recommending him and Scranton Dodge to anyone looking to buy a vehicle new or used.

I recently purchased a used Dodge Ram sight unseen (except internet pictures) from Scranton Dodge. You have to have a certain level of trust with the individual and dealership before considering a long distance car purchase. My Sales Rep, Tony Blasi, immediately made me feel at ease and throughout the transaction provided honest feedback. He completed the phone walk around, supplied recent repair documentation, and provided test drive feedback for me. When the truck arrived it was exactly as he had described and I could not be happier with my purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership and Tony for any future automotive purchases. Ended up purchasing a 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Laramie. Was 1000% happy with everything between the service and sales people there. Would definitely deal with them again. Salesman was Richard Fisssler.
We bought a used 2008 Honda Element and after paying for the vehicle as we were leaving the dealership the passenger seat belt malfunctioned. The salesman, Jim Malley, and the used car manager agreed to pay up to $500.00 to get it fixed. We drove home to Cleveland, Ohio which is about 400 miles from Scranton. We got it fixed and sent in a bill for almost $500.00. Within five days we received a check in the mail. We were most impressed with the hone style of Jim and Derek Guiton here. Being so far away it would have easy to blow us off. Kudos to JI'm and Derek. They are men of their word.

They were great. Gave me a Jeep compass as a rental and I love the rental. I just wish I had a better credit history and more income to buy a car like it. $800-$900 a month just my paycheck alone isn't enough. Even if I include my husband's ssi. ;(

My car experienced some engine problems while my family was traveling during the holidays. The closest dealership happened to be Scranton Chrysler Dodge Jeep. And thankfully so because we received fantastic service while we were there! Clint Bendar happened to be the service agent that helped us and he was so genuinely nice. We arrived at 230pm and still had 2+ hours to drive home. Clint realized that we were from out of town and got us back up and running by 5pm. He even let us bring our German Shepard into their waiting area since it was so cold outside. It was such a great experience and if I am ever back in Scranton I would absolutely go back!!
Terrible!!! Had money stolen out of a vehicle and of course they said they don t have security cameras where they park the cars!! It was THEIR responsibility to lock the vehicle or they have a thief working among the mechanics!! I saw a jeep compass on the website, and from the minute I sent my first email, till today that I drove away with the jeep, I have to say, everyone was fantastic. I want to thank Richard J. Fissler Jr. whom was my salesman since the first email he sent me, till the signing of my paper work, you were great. I want to also thank Brian Weber, whom went for a test drive with us, you made my first ride, lots of fun, and very entertaining. And I also want to thank Kevin Moylan whom did the business part of the deal. You were also very helpful, and I enjoyed dealing with you. You guys all went above and beyond to make sure that the time I spend there was pleasant and well worth the ride. I would never go anywhere else. Scranton Dodge service department is wonderful. They have serviced my Durango twice, once for a check engine light (a computer glitch they found) and once to replace a turn signal light bulb. Both times they fit me in on the day I called. Professional, quick, and reasonable priced. I highly recommend them.

Just Bought 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 love the truck but had problems from the start told salesman spare tire was rusted and needed to be cleaned and painted.When I picked up truck he said tire was taken care of but didn t check at dealership because I trusted them brought home never did anything with it now have ABS breaking problem and don t know if my warranty I paid over 1700.00 for is going to cover it. I almost got run over on interstate on Friday because my Abs problem happened and it shut down my cruise control and my truck slowed down to 40 mph in seconds tractor trailer almost hit me.So today I talked to salesman about it and he said service department would call you in about 10 minutes 3hours later I still didn t here from them so I had call them.Got to drop truck off this Friday and asked if they had a loaner vehicle but no they don t because of virus well that don t help me I need vehicle.Mathew and Dave I hope you read this because I am very disappointed so far I hope they can help me with this problem and I am not stuck paying for something that should have been seen possibly during the inspection of this vehicle and hopefully they didn t overlook something like my spare tire was.Any questions you have my phone number and thank you and have a nice day. Poor customer service in the service department, most especially the heavy duty truck center. Left my truck to get fixed while on vacation and they couldn't get to it in a weeks time despite an appointment.
We took the Jeep in for a routine oil change. The person to talk to in the service department is Kurt. If you have an issue he will get it taken care of one way or the other.
Very untrustworthy dealership. First the salesman. They will say and do anything for a sale. Do not trust them. I left and bought elsewhere where the salesman was more accomodating. Second the service.My vehicle was brand new and under warranty. This dealership tried to say the problem was from something I did. I left and went elsewhere and the other dealership heard of similar issue and repaired it under warranty no questions asked. Stay away from this dealership.
The modern world says they offer good customer service, but most fail due to the fact that they only care about the bottom line. Phil Santiago really does offer great customer service by going way above the call to duty. He calls to make sure we are totally satisfied with our purchases. We in turn, refer our family members to him to buy their vehicles. Phil is a bright star in the world of cut throat sales tactics. He brings back the old way of doing business, which is a very rare thing to see in todays business world. When he sees you, he asks, "how are you," and reaches out to shake your hand. But the difference with him is that he really does care how you are doing and feeling. I never though I would ever meet a salesman like him. We will continue to buy our Jeeps from Scranton Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep due to his great customer service.

For over five decades the team (family) at SDCJR have faithfully served my entire family. Absolutely awful service. Not once but twice. Will never ever go back or recommend anyone to them. They had my Jeep for 5 months and refused to put a transmission in it, saying they needed permission from Chrysler to do it. It takes 5 months to get an OK from Chrysler?? Pathetic.
Unfortunately, I had another disappointing experience at Scranton Dodge. The worst part is every time I go there s an issue and the few times I ve gone, there are other customers needing service who report having issues and problems. I couldn t wait to start with Jeep; however, for the last year 1/2 my experience has been nothing but unsatisfactory and frustrating.

Stopped in unannounced with a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Fleet vehicle, the Nav screen had frozen and the 4 way flashers had come on seemed simultaneously and I was not able to correct either. I was directed to Melissa by one of the technicians. Melissa was also able to determine this particular vehicle required a computer update to correct a different mechanical issue. Melissa was able to get a technician to check out the vehicle and update the onboard computer rather quickly. Melissa and the technician both took the time to review with me the issue with the flashers button possibly being turned on by the installed tablet ram. The Nav screen evidently reset with the computer update. Thank you Scranton DCJ.

I personally worked John Epp and the overall experience was smooth and hassle free. I have been to other dealerships where they continuously try to push vehicles and packages on you, not here. He took the time the to see what I really needed out of a vehicle and helped me get into a vehicle for me. I will be sure to make this my first option when I a back in the make for another vehicle.
Friendly courteous they seem to give you the best deal right out of the gate I bought a new truck from them single cab wasn't satisfied because I have a family couldn't really do anything with the truck besides work went back couple months later got an extended cab they really treated me well

Every single thing they do is wrong. Everything about the place sucks. The service is horrible. They re best technician left hoses off of my air box, didn t assemble it correctly, and left bolts loose on my brand new Jeep after it blew a radiator. Just gave them a vin number because I needed a wiring harness to haul a trailer and somehow, someway they ordered the wrong one. I will never deal with this dealership again. They are shameless about how bad they suck. Their reputation has been like that since I started driving. I should ve listened but I didn t realize how hard you can make it for somebody who bought a brand new vehicle off of you.
Purchased truck in Oct 2014. It's New Years Eve and I still do not have my title or license plates. Part of this is due to inspection paperwork but the letter I got today was purely the unprofessionalism of the dealership. I got a FedEx package hoping it to be my license plates instead I got a letter saying this:
"Our many attempts to acquire these documents for you have failed due to issues with State of Maryland's requirements which we are not able to meet."
So if a dealership that buys and sales cars everyday can't get a car registered, how do they expect me?! I talked to the dealership multiple times during the last couple of months so they have my number. No phone call or nothing, just a letter saying figure it out on your own because we can't.
Took my 2014 Challenger in for the first oil change to the Scranton Dodge Express Lane. As always I received excellent service. Justin handled my information and was very informative and professional. Mechanics were also very thorough. Would highly recommend using this service.

Do not, I say, do NOT go to Scranton Dodge. The salesmen are rude and don't care about your or what you're looking for, they just want the sale. The worst part is the owner, Mark. He is the rudest and most stuck up self centered car dealership owner I've ever dealt with. They treated my family like garbage. If you're looking for a used car or new car or even service, DO NOT GO HERE. Coccia Ford took me in, found what I was looking for, did me a great deal, and gave me awesome upgrades and warranties. I even contacted Chrysler about Scranton Dodge and they even know about their problems. Therefore, DO NOT GO.

From the little I have worked with Sales they seem amazing. However the service department deserves less than 1 star. While sitting inside I could here multiple conversations workers were having talking bad about the customers making fun/mocking. Amy one of the customer service agents is insanely rude. My car is a 2015 and I have had to get it jump started 9 times in the past 9 months after it abruptly shuts off In the middle of running but according to Amy there is nothing run with my car. When I get in a car accident and get injured because of it I will be sure to mention her personally in the law suit.
Repairs made to our Charger we had a little FUBAR but they fixed the problem and we found our if we had told them what we did it would have been fixed the first time
I took my jeep Commander there, I had no clue what was wrong with him. I was greeted by Michael Dutkiewicz, who was very professional and fun. Michael, listen to me, relayed my concerns to his team who in turn got the job done efficiently and at a respectable cost. Thank You.
PATHETIC! Called 2 WEEKS AGO to get a airbag recall done gave me the run around (vin number and recall parts number) its a airbag recall. They cant schedule me on saturday only mon thru friday 8 to 5 (i have to take a day off? Really) . They told me they dont have the parts (air bag recall parts really you dont have them )and they would call me when they get them(not in yet?). Im still waiting to be called. Poor customer service. If something happens in the mean time im sure my lawer will be involved.

Service Dept: I'm always hesitant when it comes to dealerships and especially repairing my vehicle as I have not had the best experiences in the past.
I called with emergency electrical problems and spoke with Amy. Amy made sure I was scheduled for first service the following day; I was lucky enough to deal with Tiffany at 7:30 in the morning who was kind, courteous and understanding. Tiffany and the whole service staff went out of their way (literally by driving to Stroudsburg for a part that was on "back order") to help and expedite my repair. They service department had my part picked up and installed into my vehicle within hours.
I'm so grateful to Tiffany and all Scranton Dodge Service Department for the courteous and prompt service. What a change from my past experiences. THANK YOU Tiffany and the whole staff!!!
Purchased a pre-owned Honda Fit a couple weeks ago and am incredibly happy with the experience. My lease was coming to an end with another dealer, and I wanted to purchase a used car this time around. I wasn't looking forward to the car buying process, but this place made it easy and I never felt pushed. My husband and I were greeted when we walked in and test driving shortly after. Shoutout to our sales rep, Fred Langenhop! He was friendly and patient, letting us explore the vehicles at our own pace.
