I called the dealership and spoke with Pete Acree and he was very knowledgeable about our car and extremely willing to help. He was able to schedule an appointment the same afternoon we called. When I showed up at the dealership, he made us feel like we were top priority. I wish every customer service experience would go as smoothly as this one. I look forward to working with Pete, and Scott Clark's Toyota in the future.

I moved to Scott Clark from another local dealership to follow my service advisor - Marshall Moore. He always understands what I need and has the perfect solution. Explains my options and has good reasons for the one he recommends. I trust him to do the right thing (that's a really big deal for me).
I've since bought a new car at Scott Clark and found the same customer satisfaction in the sales department.

I have had maintenance at with my Toyota Avalon hybrid. Crystal Kush is my ASM. She always take of my car service details and can answer all my questions. She has given me her personal cell when the website wasn't working. The service technician have always done quality jobs on my new car and my previous Avalon. Keep the personal touch and nice attitude that Krstal has. I love Crystal she is the reason I keep coming back.

James Powell, John Troxler, Jim Dalo and Abby were the best. We were so impressed and felt like they cared about us. They made my seat heaters happen and even my gold pin stripes. We will be back to see Scott Clark Toyota for our next car! Great people

Let me start by saying that I am a loyal Toyota customer. I have been purchasing Toyotas for over 20 years. I also purchased my children (2 Toyota Camrys and 3 Toyota Corollas) when they were old enough to drive. I love their dependability and the comfortability is just fabulous. I want to also note that I have also purchased vehicles from coast to coast. By far this dealership gets a thumbs down. They get a 1 only because people were nice to us doing our initial visit. Now let's move on to the facts: This dealership is so unorganized and the dishonesty runs from sales to finance. Oh let me just add this about the service dept: Why is it that I purchased my car a month ago and my tint is coming off my window, literally peeling. I cant believe it! I have never seen this happen with a brand new car. (Tint was done the day after I purchased the vehicle) This car had 17 miles on when I purchased it and some of those miles came from me test driving the vehicle. The finance team including managers are so unprofessional. I called for 2 weeks straight for someone to give me the information about my finance company (To make my payment) and couldnt get anyone on the phone or call me back. I have so much to say about the finance managers but I am going to just move on. I still love Toyota vehicles but this dealership will never get anymore of my business I will travel when I go to buy my other daughter a car next year. One more thing, no credit problems, good jobs (yes 2 people 2 good jobs) and with money and the hourssss that it took from start to finish was ridiculous. We don't even know what the hold up was. They kept being very apologetic about the wait but kept making us waiting even longer, trying to sell us other items for the car, waiting on finance, etc. 10 hours no exaggeration! The kids fell asleep sitting up on the couch in the lobby. I nodded a few times as well. Just crazy. Do yourself a favor and find another dealership. Oh they ask me to give them a 10 on the survey they send out but if dont feel they were a 10 just dont do the survey. SMH

I have been a customer of Scott Clark Toyota for many years. They are very responsive to the needs of customers. I have ALL my servicing done at Scott Clark because of their fair prices, detailed explanations and thoroughness. Mohammed was my service agent at my request and he is always so respectful and friendly. You can't go wrong with Scott Clark Toyota!

Used cars purchased here apparently don't get the same quality service. Last summer we purchased my wife a used 2015 RAV4 and didn't notice the musty A/C smell until a week later. After a few times of bringing it back to resolve the problem, the smell was still there and the sales manager who sold us the car started ignoring our calls. After 6 months and many many attempts later, we finally resolved the problem ourselves - something the Toyota service department should be able to fix within one or two quick visits. Adding to the mix, we live on the opposite side of town and were upsold an extended service warranty for around $700 - and told it was valid at any Toyota dealership. We found out today from another dealer that that's not 100% true. And the dealer closest to us uses a different warranty company - so you have to jump through hoops to get partial coverage on the expensive service plan purchased. These are basically customer retention plans and in our case it's been a complete ripoff despite what we were told upon purchase. I'd be very careful buying a used car here and think twice before you purchase an extended service plan.

Scott Clark Toyota is the best dealership I ever been to. I m retired military and had traveled around the country which afforded me many opportunities to visit various dealerships, even other makers, and found that Scott Clark Toyota is particularly sensitive, cordial, and caring towards their regular customers as well as their potential customers. Mike Miller, one of the salesman, epitomizes this standard. He s very personable and professional. He s makes every transaction enjoyable as well as educational. HE IS THE BEST!!! I will always be a Toyota family member as well as a client of this dealership!

Excellent service, but had an appointment for 1100. I arrived a little before 11. Amanda told me it would be approximately 70 minutes. I thought to have had an appointment that was a bit excessive. Very friendly staff.

Used them for years. Received excellent customer service. Needed a new alternator put in. The estimate from Scott Clark Service was $834.00. I was able to get a new alternator elsewhere installed for $439.00. I will no longer be using Scott Clark.

Buying a car is stressful, it is often the second largest purchase people make. So, when you find a dealership that makes it easy, that s worth writing home about! I Goggled Largest Toyota Dealership in Charlotte and Scott Clark popped up. I live in Asheville so taking a trip down the mountain based on an internet search was a bit risky. It was well worth it. I found a Sienna online and spoke with a gentleman, Dennis Mahone. He told me all the details about the vehicle, and was very patient with me even when I keep asking the same questions (trying to keep the comparisons straight in my head) Dennis was SUPER easy to talk to, and funny! It is helpful to have someone keep light of a highly stressful event, well for me, car buying is not fun . Dennis took my phone number and sent me a link of the vehicle. I liked that touch, and it helped in my comparison shopping. After speaking on the phone on a Tuesday evening I made my road trip on Saturday- (Dennis told me he hid the van-see being funny!) When I arrived he showed me all the features and we did a test drive. Once I decided to make the purchase it was a done deal, and I felt good about the entire experience. I will recommend Scott Clark to all my friends and family. It was definitely worth the drive!

I purchased my 2010 Tacoma TRD Sport with approx. ...

I purchased my 2010 Tacoma TRD Sport with approx. 36,000 miles on it about 3 months ago.It was lifted with large tires on it that were installed at the dealership. It looks great! Since purchasing my Tacoma, Ive discovered that the tires rub on the inner fender walls. Ive also discovered a coolant leak. I am not a mechanic so I have no idea where it is coming from other than the front of the engine. There is also a rattle in the drivers side window when the door is closed. The TPMS light came on a week after I purchased the Tacoma and will not reset. The carpets looked brand new when I purchased the truck, Thats because they were. I pulled the carpet back and discovered that the drivers side of the truck had and extreme amount of mud inside it at some point. I cleaned it out as good as I could. Also when putting the truck in reverse it has become very hard to do. When I purchased the Tacoma I was only given 1 key with one key fob. I found that the key does not work in the door lock and comes out of the ignition in any setting. If the battery in the key fob battery goes dead I will not be able to get in the Tacoma. I also changed the oil at 3000 miles as I usually do on all my vehicles. The oil that I took out of the Tacoma was the color of Carolina Red Mud. It appears as though the truck had not been completely serviced before I purchased it. I will say that the salesman was very helpful. I did receive a call from a customer service rep. a little over a month ago and I voiced some of my concerns. He said that I would receive a call back. It has been over a month and I am still waiting for the call. In the beginning of my Scott Clark experience I strongly recommended to others that they should go to Scott Clark for a new or used vehicle. I have since changed my opinion and do not send anyone to Scott Clark.

Be careful with their One key gimmick! They pretend they have only one key and try to charge you $400 for second one. I tried to negotiate the price a little and they offered the second key for free. So I took the deal. They ask to come back another day to get set up with the new key. But magically they had a second key ready for me before I left! Anyway I let it slide until I heard the same thing happen to two of my friends.

That s my only complaint other than that the process was very quick no hassle

They tell you what you want to get you in there, and don't honor online coupons. I made 3 trips to Scott Clark's toyota city, and it was a horrible experience. After the 2nd visit, I called and told them I'd come back and get the used tacoma if they'd honor they're $500 online coupon, and give me $500 more for my trade (which they were offering $3500 below wholesale value for). They agreed. After driving 40 miles to get there, they renig'd on the deal, and offered me the exact same price from my 2nd visit. That was my 3rd, and final visit to SC. I'll never waste my time there again!!!!!! Don't waste your time either!!!

Buying a new vehicle should be fun and exciting- this experience was great. There was no pressure or haggling- I felt totally respected. The salesman was courteous and listened without interruption. I don t trade vehicles often- this will be a good memory for a very long time.

My most recent experience purchasing a car from Sc...

My most recent experience purchasing a car from Scott Clark Toyota unfortunately didn t do anything to change the negative stigma around car buying. The price of the vehicle was not up front and, despite documented changes, was always bouncing up and down. The salesman communicated well but used various tactics to spur me to buy as opposed to providing helpful information and assisting me in the buying journey. Two times after I paid for the vehicle I showed up to the dealership to pick it up only to find out it wasn t ready. Lastly once I finally got the vehicle I found out there were two very common and obvious problems with it that makes me believe the vehicle was not thoroughly inspected prior to selling. Overall I would go to another dealer next time.

I recently took my truck into SCT because I heard ...

I recently took my truck into SCT because I heard a terrible grinding noise coming from the rear axel. I made an appointment and Marshall Moore was who I spoke with. I explained everything in detail about what was going on and they took a look at it. After 3 hours they came to a conclusion that it was the lift blocks that were making the noise and I should take the truck to who I had the lift installed, have a look at it. I asked if it was safe to drive and he said yes and didn't charge me, which was nice. However, when I drove home, the noise was not as noticeable and my power steps on the driver side wouldn't work and my tires on the passenger side were torn up. Some of the rubber was actually cut. Looked as if they ran over something sharp or hit a curb while the truck was in their position. They took video of the truck before it went back so maybe there might be proof. I also want to mention that I just had my truck serviced from Scott Clark about 3 weeks prior to this event.

I spoked to the guy who I had the lift installed (4 years ago) and he told me to bring it to him and he would look at it. My appointment was a few days later and I didn't drive the truck at all since my appointment with Scott Clark. I also didn't hear any noise, all they way to his shop. After a thorough inspection, the mechanic happed to check the differential fluid. He couldn't believe how new the oil looked for a truck that had 30k miles on it. He asked me if I had any work done on the truck lately. I said yes, about a few weeks ago from Scott Clark.

In conclusion, the mechanic that installed the lift said the lift blocks were torqued down to speck and that there was no way that what I heard would sound like it was coming from the lift blocks. He described to me that the differential fluid looked so new that it was like vegetable oil. Also, it was over filled at that. He believes, and I agree that Scott Clark made a mistake and then fixed the noise coming from the rear axel because the differential fluid was maybe drained from the last time I had it in their hands. I believe they were trying to cover up on their mistake but told me to have the truck looked at from the person that installed the lift. That is probably why they didn't charge me. They should change the name to SCAM CLARK!

I'd love to see that video surveillance. I want to say to the people that read this post to be aware of your vehicle when it is returned to you.

The issue was replacement of a part. I have power train warranty and it was reconciled quickly and professionally and Pete kept me in the loop. Our family are Scott Clark owners of Toyotas and this is an excellent reason why we stay with Scott Clark.

Sale of car was good. But needed service to car , had intermittent problem with starting. Time, too long to get to the repair, next day.Dealer had car over 24 hours. Which didn't correct starting problem. Car left wife stranded, I checked over the repair, (starter replacement?? ). Checked okay. During my inspection of car found man grounding wire loose @ chassis connection. This corrected starting problem. Plus battery cover was left off after starter replacement, and lost. They ordered a new covered and had it mailed to me. I would NOT recommend service from Scott Clark toyota. Pretty sure starter wasn't bad .ground was most likely only problem. You could give person the benefit of the doubt.ground wire could have been disconnected for starter replacement, and just not reconnected correctly, but this with lost battery cover?? I am sure either way I wouldn't recommend Scott Clark toyota.

Steer clear from the used car department at this place. The inspections are not done on the cars prior to them being sold. I purchased a used car from them in November 2018. The car I purchased was a lemon and had some many problems I ask for a trade in after spending over $100.00 within the first 30days of having the vehicle. The car was in service more than I drove it. Which they kindly did for me. They put me in another car that I have had to sink an additional $477.07 since then. When I complained about the price and the fact that I was sinking money into a car that I had not even had for 90 days yet the comment was made "Well that's the chance you take when you buy a used car" They pressure you into buying all the warranties then when you bring the car in they tell you if falls under "wear and tear" so the cost is yours out of pocket. But you are told you are getting such a good deal. After all said and done I am now paying more for a car than it is worth!!!! Please. Please, Please save your time and consider going somewhere else. It will save you time, energy and stress!!

I brought my highlander in for 20k service. My appt. was at 8:30 but traffic was bad so I did not arrive until 9:00. There was no issue per the individual who checked me in and about 9:45 he came and told me I needed an alignment based on the test. No problem, because it was evident based on the picture and the fact I am sure I have hit a pothole or curb in the past few months. The issue was it took another 90 minutes to do a basic alignment and I was not told it would be that long. Finally left at 11:30 and missed a meeting I had to be at by 11:30. No reason for such a delay and never got any update until I walked out in the service area at 11:10.

My Wife and I recently purchased a 2007 Chevrolet ...

My Wife and I recently purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe from Scott Clark s Toyota. We were in search of this vehicle specifically. Their pre-owned inventory had several models to choose from and gave us multiple options. After we decided on the specific Tahoe we called the dealer to inquire about price. This is usually the first part of automobile shopping that customers dread the most. I was able to speak with a salesperson, Tim Wright. I told Tim what we wanted to do. We had a complicated trading scenario and a couple of ways to figure out the details. Tim was enthusiastic about giving us multiple options to fit our situation and budget. During this process I was contacted by the Manager, Jim Cline. Jim was very professional in his approach to earn our business. We felt as though they wanted to sell my wife and I on a relationship with their business as much as the vehicle we were inquiring about. That is refreshing. Once the deal was consummated and the details final we had to see the Finance guy, Sean Van Horn, the second part of the process that customers dread the most. Sean was also a total professional. He appreciated that our time was valuable to us. He offered us some options, some we liked some we didn t. After signing our paperwork the deal was done and we were happy.

This is where I felt the Dealership shined the most. A couple of days after the purchase my wife s new vehicle wouldn t start. Here we go we thought. Just bought a car and already. I had to leave work to pick up my stranded wife in South Carolina. We discovered the battery had little life left in it and needed to be replaced. I bought a new battery to the tune of around $120.00. Disappointed, I called Jim Cline at the dealership and explained to him what happened. He expressed to me that he was unhappy for the inconvenience this had caused and wanted to reimburse us immediately. This is what a customer wants to hear from a business that is sincere about building a relationship. We were pleased.

One week later I m driving in our new vehicle and I hear a loud clunk from underneath the vehicle. Looking down at the instrument panel and gauges I noticed that when pressing the gas pedal I was going nowhere and the engine was only revving high. Good grief! Could it be? The transmission was out. Granted this was a higher mileage vehicle, but surely they ran it through their service department for a checkup right? Fortunately, I was only 4 miles from my home when this occurred so I was able to get it home by driving in 2nd gear at about 20 MPH. Feeling like I had made a terrible decision about the purchase of this vehicle, I called Jim Cline, again. This time Jim sounded as though he was a little embarrassed. Again he showed his professionalism. The first concern he had was for the safety of my family. He asked if we needed to be picked up and I explained that the vehicle was at my home. He didn t ask many questions about the vehicle other than how soon could he come get it. Jim sent a rollback to our house and retrieved the Tahoe within a couple hours. I was contacted during this process by the rental department assuring us that they had no vehicles left to rent (all were rented out for spring break trips) but were going to make sure we had a car to drive. The rental department followed through with their commitment and gave us a not so aesthetically pleasing, but reliable Toyota Corolla. Jim called and assured me that not only would the vehicle be fixed, but that my wife and I would suffer no cost.

The Tahoe was repaired and returned to us with a full tank of gas and fresh detail. What I have learned throughout this entire process is that it does not matter how well the deal goes or that you get the price you want. What matters is how you treat your customer during and especially after the sale. Jim Cline and company have renewed my trust in Scott Clark s Toyota and are a shining example of how to conduct business. The next vehicle choice that we or our family makes will most certainly be from Scott Clarks Toyota City.

I received top notch, excellent service from David in the service dept. He went the extra mile to ensure I understood all of the services being done to my car and ensured I was fully satisfied upon completion. David was awesome... I'll definitely continue getting serviced at Scott Clark Toyota.

I would like to thank Marshall Moore for outstanding customer service with the 70,000 mile service visit on our 2011 Toyota Sienna at Scott Clark Toyota in Charlotte. Marshall did a great job of going over what we needed. He alerted me to the fact that my front brakes were wearing thin and needed to be replaced. All around it was a very pleasant service experience.

Came in to look at the used car inventory. They have a lot of good options and was really Indecisive with what I wanted. Paul helped me choose a car that was right for my needs. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and not once got frustrated with my questions. I m glad we reached an agreement the same day( as I live in SC and would hate to drive back). The process was smooth and registration was done by ms. Madison who was very nice and willing to help and answer any questions I had. Overall a great experience. Will for sure come back.

**Update**

I received a call and Scott Clark looked into the situation. We were able to resolve the issue and they wanted the opportunity to make it right. I was impressed with the service and customer focus Scott Clark provided me to make the situation right.

**Update**

The service technicians are great and friendly. I ve had no problem with the people. However, my 2012 Prius radio failed last year and they replaced it for over $600 with labor. This year my radio failed again (same issue) and I was 5 days out of warranty. I couldn t get any type of negotiation with it being so close in time. I was even willing to pay something but not full price for the same issue. I know the service tech worked with their warranty team and they were un moving on the 5 days. It s disappointing that they were unwilling to do SOMETHING within the 5 days. I would have gladly paid at least $250 so the technicians could be paid.

Definitely do your research before coming here. If you don't know anything about the car buying experience, they will eat you alive. The salespeople and finance people here are shady and do all they can to try to take advantage of people.

I just recently purchased a car at Scott Clark Toyota. The experience was very unpleasant with my Salesperson Mike Miller. The truck passed inspection even though it had a horn that didn't work as well as the bed tailgate strap falling off, the rear window hold down traps are broken so my windows flap and the list goes on and on. When I asked was the car in a accident I was told no and found out later it had 4 accidents on it. I went to Scott Clark Toyota because I thought they were reputable and had integrity, but I was mistaken. Their prices are over priced in many cases by 3-4 thousand dollars. I tired to take the car back to get a better car and the lies continued. I will never buy from Scott Clark Toyota again nor do I recommend anyone else to. I felt taken advantage of!

My wife set up an appointment to take in our 2000 4 Runner to have the "check engine" light diagnosed and for subsequent NC DOT inspection. After waiting for 2 hours beyond the appointment time the service team informed her that she would need a mass air flow sensor, and air filter to pass inspection. The quotation for repair amounted to $400.00. Being somewhat "concerned that a sensor and an air filter would cost $400.00, she refused service and handed it off to me. I purchased the air filter for $20.00 and the mass air flow sensor for $80.00 after return of the used "core." The sensor and air filter should take about 15 minutes to change. After identifying the sensor under the hood, I realized that it only had one screw in it replaced by Toyota. I ordered two additional screws from Toyota for $1.78. Upon trying to replace the second screw I discovered that the first screw had been gouged out and totally stripped from use by TOYOTA mechanics. The complete air handler will now need to be replaced, thus the significant gouging attempt of $400.00 initially quoted. I took my concerns up in person with Mark Beeker, Service Manager who stated the $300 difference was due to an original OEM sensor vs. aftermarket, which is obsurd. This episode will cost Toyota substantial trust, credibility, and needless to say future business.

I must have hit the wrong salesman - twice. On two occasions a year apart I tried to buy a new car here only to be met with every sleazy sales tactic in the book. This dealership must still think it s the 1970s and they re dealing with ignorant, uninformed customers. They had a willing and ready buyer but still managed to chase him away with their bs - twice. Luckily there are are other dealerships where you can still work a reasonable deal in an honest, open and respectful environment.

Purchased a used 2018 Honda CR v e x the week before Christmas and have had two dead batteries. after reading Honda forums this seems to be a known issue with battery drainage on Honda CRVs and I feel Scott Clark should have warned me about it.

I bought a used car here with a promise that it passed their rigorous inspections and could pass a state inspection. Two days later I found out that it had a power steering leak. Not only is that an automatic failure on a state inspection but could also cause a fire. I called and called trying to get it fixed and was ignored. It took me leaving them a one star review to get someone to talk to me. I'm giving them two stars because after that they at least tried to fix it twice. However it is still leaking. They've worn me out and even if they'd pay to try and fix it again I wouldn't take it back and trust them. Buyer beware that Scott Clark will sell you a potentially dangerous vehicle and ignore you unless publicly shamed.

Edit: Another issue and proof of this dealers incompetence. They replaced a part of the steering rack so I assume they had to take off the tires. When I went to remove the tires to replace another broken part of this car the lug nut stud snapped right off like a twig. Looks like they tightened the lug nuts on too hard and snapped it. Quality is not a word to be associated with Scott Clark.

Recently purchased a 2014 Rav4 from Scott Clark Toyota, RAFAEL PENA and the entire experience was phenomenal, he put in all the footwork and effort to find the perfect vehicle for our situation. Mike Miller and Ace Louis were quick and efficient as we concluded, all the way down to the wash detail and fill up at the end. Highly recommend RAFAEL and the entire team working with him. Thank you!

I got there at my appointed time then waited for 20-25 minutes to get checked in. It was my 55,000 mile checkup and suppose to take approximately 70 minutes. They were finally finished after 3 hours from the time my appointment was scheduled. The only extra was to replace a torn windshield wiper. I have never waited that long!

Very nice, professional, and helpful. My car is still under the 2 year / 25000 mile service plan; but, all pleasant so far. Definitely would recommend. Just can't speak to pricing or anything other than normal servicing at this point. It's a great start though.

8/5/2015 - I made an appointment with the Service ...

8/5/2015 - I made an appointment with the Service Department for my 2014 Tundra SR truck. Shirley Wood greeted me at the dealership. We discussed a couple of my concerns, and she assured me that they would do their best to find and correct any problems. I went to the customer waiting area and proceeded to do some work online, via the available Wi-Fi connection. Over the course of 2+ hours, Shirley walked in and checked with me several times, so that I had a play-by-play description of what was found and what was being done to correct the problem. All of the work was covered under the manufacturer's warranty. They ran my vehicle through the car wash, free of charge. I noticed some new, circular scratch marks on the hood, in an area about the size of a half-dollar. I called this to Shirley's attention. It was too late in the day to do anything about the scratch marks, so she made a note of it in my service record, and we agreed to investigate further, the next time I brought the truck in for service. I appreciate the personalized service that I received from Shirley at Scott Clark Toyota.

10/21/2015 I took my Tundra SR truck in to Scott Clark Toyota for 10,000 mile service. Shirley Wood greeted me at the dealership. We looked at the scratch marks on the hood, then I again made use of the dealership's Wi-Fi to get some work done while I waited. Unfortunately, the scratch marks had cut through the paint down to bare metal, so they couldn't be buffed out. I made an appointment for the following week, to leave my truck at the dealership for several days. Shirley took care of everything in a very efficient, professional manner.

10/27/2015 Shirley Wood greeted me at Scott Clark Toyota. In a relatively short amount of time, I was on my way home in a very nice rental car, which was provided free of charge, while my truck was being repaired at a local body shop. I live about an hour's drive from the dealership, which made the loaner car necessary.

10/29/2015 Shirley Wood was not working the day that I picked up my Tundra SR truck. I believe it was the Service Manager who helped me get the rental car turned in, and then had my truck pulled around to the Service Area, where we briefly inspected the spot on the hood that had been repainted. The guys at B & R Body Shop did an excellent job of blending and feathering the new paint to match the original paint job... I couldn't tell where the repair had been made. Once again, I was satisfied with the repair work, and with the level of customer service that I received.

4/25/2017 Crystal Kush met me when I arrived for a 30,000 Mile Checkup & Service on my 2014 Toyota Tundra SR Truck. She was courteous and efficient. I requested that the windshield wiper blades be replaced. After being serviced, my truck was delivered to the exit bay. As I stepped up into the driver's seat, I noticed a crack in the windshield on the passenger's side. I immediately brought the crack to the attention of Crystal and the Service Manager. It appeared that, during the process of replacing the windshield wiper blades, the spring-loaded windshield wiper arm had accidentally fallen back onto the windshield after the old wiper had been removed, but before the new wiper had been installed. I was kind of ticked off that no one had bothered to point out the damaged windshield until I said something about it... Someone in the Service Department surely must have noticed the crack, but no one said a word about it, until I called it to their attention. The Service Manager apologized for the damage and I made an appointment to have the windshield replaced on 5/9/2017.

5/9/2017 Windshield replacement went smoothly.

10/31/2017 Terry Barnett met me when I took the Tundra in for 40,000 Mile service. He was courteous and efficient. Due to the damage that my truck had sustained on two previous visits to the Service Department, I asked Terry to accompany me on a "walk-around", so that we both observed and agreed on a few minor dings. Everything went well during this visit. Auto Butler service made the truck look great!

Scott Clark provided with me with OUTSTANDING service, I was out of the state and needed a new car, and they managed to do an amazing job in doing everything they could to accommodate my needs. I am now in a brand new car, and I love it. I would recommend them to anyone. (Thanks Mike!)

My husband I visited Scott Clark's Toyota a couple weeks ago to look at a Highlander. We were met by Scottie Arant at the door, who could NOT have been nicer. He was very professional, courteous, was not pushy at all. We felt zero pressure from him, and were excited to look further into purchasing a Highlander; we were ready to buy that day. However, once we started to talk numbers, another manager was pulled in, Scott Goodstein(?). That's when things started to go downhill. We felt very pressured, and felt like the attitude was extremely condescending. We told him that we had plans to look at another vehicle that day (Volvo XC90), and he proceeded to in turn praise Volvo and bash them in the same breath. He continued to try and sell us the one Highlander model that we were interested in on the lot, after we repeatedly told him that it was not the color we preferred. Long story short, we drove home in a new Volvo that day and not a Highlander, but Scottie Arant's impeccable customer service still stands out in our minds. If we could have dealt with him only, the outcome may have been different.

I went today to do an oil & filter change on my wife's Prius. I know a fair bit of traditional mechanics, yet that car being a Hybrid scares me a little. I don't want to ruin it not knowing any special care instructions for any service. So I went there. It was supposed to be a very basic visit, yet it turned out to be a very disappointing one. After the service, which is very fairly priced, I must admit, we noticed that the A/C suddenly stopped working. It worked just fine before, and know, nothing. Not a single breeze came out of the vents of the car. We returned the same later that same day to have them check anything. Of course they didn't knew anything about it and stated that there wasn't any relationship within the oil service and the A/C. I told them that it was very unusual to have the car serviced and then something else not working. They checked the A/C system and found that the blower motor was making a growling noise at idle speed. I find that super strange because the A/C has stopped working at all. It did nothing when you try to turn it on. When they returned the car, the A/C was working again. For me it is evident that they did something to the A/C to have us fooled into repairing something that wasn't damaged in the first place. I will never return there, and I won't reccomend them to nobody else. First time and only for me.

The service department is closed Sunday and today, although my car is ready and I can walk in the building there is no one there that can actually get it for me. No one saw that coming? Couldn t have a single service person there to process cars that are ready for pick up?!

Never getting service here again.

Crystal was great as always. She gives me her honest opinion on what is needed currently and what can get pushed off to the next visit. Dexter was great shuttling me home and back to the dealership. 5 Star service. Thanks

I went there knowing my car I owned was upside down. I knew this. I was open about it and knew how much. I also knew what it was worth. We looked at the cars. Picked on out and the dirty sales tricks started. The person I was working with finding the car was awesome. The dirty sales manager was not. They offered me 20% less than what my trade was worth and inflated their costs on the new car saying "they are popular and we can charge full price for them". Sadly when you have over 40 of them on your lot that does not count as "popular". Not to mention the sales manager was blow hard who should have been forced out of the industry years ago. After not listening to me at all and then insulting me with the low trade in value he proceeded to tell me about all his cars and how awesome his life was. So let me get this straight. You are trying to sell me a car, you fail at it in so many ways, and then start telling me about how you are doing great? Really. I left there. TO make matters worse the salesmen and other sales coordinator knew I didn't want to work with that sales manager but he forced himself into the deal even after me asking not to deal with him at all. Not sure what is going on there but they need to clean house a little and hire some decent people.

Marshall has worked on my Toyoya a couple of times and is awesome! He works at the Independance location. He saves me money and never tries to talk me into anything unless it is very much needed. I don t trust many people, but I do trust him for sure! Thanks, Marshall!

Jason Liles and Travis Wilson are the dynamic duo. My experience working with both of them was by far the best car-buying experience I've had to date. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable on the features and specifications of the car I already researched and worked hard to ensure I chose the correct car, right down to the detail of color options. Travis was great in making sure the logistical details of the sale were wrapped up with efficiency. My experience in finance with Ben Garner and even delivery of the vehicle with Mallory McDaniel all went incredibly smoothly. From start to finish, the Scott Clark's Toyota experience, all managed by Jimmy Cline, is a very efficient, pleasant, and highly recommended one!

Awesome service! Billy has always been my service technician and he has been great. Very kind, courteous, professional, just the best of the best. Thanks Toyota for hiring awesome people and keeping them! I have been to other dealers for service on my other make vehicles and nothing compares to the level of service at Toyota!

I made the mistake of filling out a prior survey form from Scott Clark. I was unhappy that it took me three visits for them to due some maintenance work - it ended up that they botched the replacement installation, left one of my lights disconnected, and hadn't even done a cursory test drive. I noticed the problem as I pulled out of their driveway. I explained that all in the survey they asked me to complete.

On my next call to their service department, my primary service contact was short and curt with me. She read my comments back to me and told that she was surprised I bothered to come back.

Be careful what you write in your reviews of Scott Clark. They may hold it against you.

When we got there the sales person was nice and had a great attitude. Once we drove the car and came in to start working out a deal, they wanted to give me next to nothing for the car I was trading and then when I asked about how much they would sell it for, we were told they don't sell cars on their lot that they cannot warranty. 2 days later, my car was on the website for sell for $6,000. The pictures of my car were before we ever signed a deal with them. When they did come back with a lower bottom price, it was still higher than what I told them I could do. They finally brought the sales manager out and he was very unfriendly and I told him what my bottom line was. He just got up and walked off. Several minutes later he came back, slapped the paper on the table and asked if that was ok. It was what I said I would do and told him yes, he said ok then, just sign that you agree. I signed and he took the paper, got up and walked off. The financial person was very nice and I appreciated his service. There were no floor mats and no owners manual with the car, and no one really seemed to care about it except us. My husband was looking at one of the Tacoma trucks, but has decided if he does get one, it will NOT be from Scott Clark's Toyota. We purchased a new Jeep Wrangler from Hendrick's Jeep a year ago, and I will just have to say, the service there was 300% better than here.
