The food was very tasty so I plan to come back sometime. The problem was the service was pretty bad. It was little things, I felt like a second hand customer from the very beginning. And this was over our lunch break so we were dressed in business casual. When she told us the special she said it is "battered fish". When she told the table next to us it was "beer battered shrimp with green vegetables, potato, or clam chowder". She also messed up our order, we didn't complain because we didn't want to wait an additional 30 minutes for our food. She rang up Mahi sandwiches when we wanted grilled Mahi, not sandwiches. But then one more issue, she kept offering a tea refill which I declined then 2 minutes later she returns to fill my cup up. She's talking as she does it so I can't stop her, thanks for the tea refill in my pepsi glass. She was more interested in flirting with the regulars than trying to bring in new customers.

Waitress was less than enthused. Was not in any hurry. Lunch was fine.

I wasn't really impressed given the prices. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't spectacular, and the menu is rather limited. Our server wasn't bad but wasn't overly impressive either..again, this is all because of the price as its relatively high here by Wichita, KS standards. The ambiance and decor is very nice however and they have an extensive wine & spirits selection. I doubt we will be returning as we don't think its worth adding this place to our regular rotation. It did get quite full while we were there though. If we do return we will most likely just hang out at the bar and enjoy a drink or two and some appetizers. I can see this place being an "impress her on the first date" type of outfit...but i left largely uninspired.

I've never had such an amazing French Dip in my life. If you've never been here, do yourself a favor and head on over. Also a must visit location if you're visiting the area! You'll thank yourself, and so will anyone traveling with you!

The wait staff was great, thw food was excellent. We were there at 2:30pm and had the lunch special. It was not overcooked, not even the vegetables

Service was great.... steak was burnt on the outside and raw in the center! We have had way better steak just at home... and for the price it shouldn't be that way! Plus we killed two gnats at our dinner over salad time.

If you dont.like the food and atmosphere at the Scotch, well something is just wrong with you. Now I do have to be completely honest! I still have not forgiven them for taking my old red classic Frank Sinatra like area and turning it into Martha Stewart's barn! So when you sit in the bar area please face yourself so you will be looking out into the larger dining area. If you just look away from the barn everything else will be amazing!

The food was fine, which it should be for the price. However, once seated we waited over 10 minutes before anyone even looked at us. The waitress must have had amnesia because everytime she turned the corner she looked surprised to see us. After the plates were cleared , we again sat for nearly 30 minutes waiting for the check. A dining experience that took way too long for a restaurant that was half full.

Clean restaurant. My $40 was ordered med-rare came out Med to Med well.
Didn't feel like sending it back and mess with the rest of the dining experience.

Old school atmosphere that works and the food was top notch. Very good service!

I had a nice dinner... I loved that after the end of my meal, the waitress told me to stick the leftivers in the oven instead of the microwave.

Today I ordered the broiled chicken for lunch. Very good and great service.

Went in for lunch the other day with a friend and had Devine as our waitress. The food was amazing and our service was excellent. I'll be back again very soon.

Thanksgiving brunch buffet is fantastic. Everything you could want, from a scratch made omelet, to ham and turkey with all the trimmings. The dessert menu was also amazing. Service was fantastic as one would expect from a trip to Scoth & Sirloin.

Consistity is their problem. Great sometime and horrible others it's a toss up so 50/50

OMG...Had the bone in rib eye special...and it was glorious. GLORIOUS. Highly recommend A++++, would buy from again!

New makeover was amazing, however the huge bar is in the middle of all eating area and if your planning on a quiet dinner you wont get that on a weekend night. I made reservations 1 week early but when showing up of course they did not have it. We were seated quickly though. Menu is more $$$ than before but something has to pay for the remodeling. Our bill was $130 with tip for a good dinner. My wife had a great night other than the loud table next to us. I had to have my medium KC strip recooked as it was to bloody and raw in middle. They handled it quickly with no questions asked. GOOD JOB OWNERS.. note: get rid of cheap salt and pepper shakers on table and use a cracked peppercorn with nice fixtures to match the rest of your makeover. Oh and the servers mini black dresses are gone too. But that is a minor detail

The steak was amazing. The service was disappointing. She was attentive to the 2 gentlemen at our table. I didn't even get a refill on my water.

34 years later and the place did
not let me down. Manager Justin was very welcoming and took time to share all about the new location and the most beautiful wine decanters. The best place to get some filet mignon.

Rebecca was our server from the bar and always has a beautiful smile and so helpful and polite suggested the steak bits which where absolutely delicious will definitely have to make a dinner date back there.

Top notch, best steak, and service, in the Wichita area. Kimberly was outstanding. Couldn't have asked for a better server. Knowledgeable and completely attentive. Recommended several dishes and appetizers to serve a large party. If you haven't been, you need to go. Prime rib was out of this world.

Steak wasn't the best considering the price.. Other than that it was great.. Fix the steaks seasoning and keep better eye on temp and itd be amazing

Always a great experience! My dad and his coworkers go every Friday, I tag along here and there. Food is excellent - from quality to quantity! Servers are nice and attentive.

Not sure why everyone loves this place. Food took 45 min on a slow crowd lunch day. Fries were cold and food was decent but for the price I would go to another steak restaurant.

Perfect as always. Becka was our waitress. She was great. Took time to explain the menu items. Xtra friendly. Couldnt ask for a better service from beginning to end. Girl that seated is just have been having a bad day , didn't say a word, just walked us to our table with a frown and walked off.

Our family got together for dinner tonight to celebrate our brothers 20th birthday! Yay! The restaurant of choice was of course Scotch and Sirloin! We have heard how good the food is and how fantastic the experience is.
Bleh. Not so much.
The evening started out just fine but quickly progressed into a disaster. Our server was in a funk of some sort. There was definitely something behind the scenes happening. However. She treated us like an inconvenience and argued with us over a drink we ordered. We waited for our food for 2 hrs and our appetizer got lost in the back somewhere and was almost chilled by the time it hit the table. Other than that the food is relatively good. Definitely over priced, especially with the service you recieve... but we won't lie it was tasty and the portions are decent.
All this to say, We will not be returning.

I loved it! The food was great, our waiter was very nice. The atmosphere was wonderful it was really cool. You should definitely try the Lobster and Mac.

Food was okay, but prices are high. I would not return to this place. I can get the same type of food and service at Applebees or Olive Garden for a better price.

I have been there for lunch and dinner. Very affordable during lunch and the food is great. Large portions. The dinner was amazing; you will spend some bucks during dinner though. Kansas City strip was really tasty, but I think the appetizers is what makes this place. Make sure to grab a few like the calamari. No need to go formal during lunch. Most people are formal during dinner.

Went for my boyfriends birthday. We were out of town and this was the highest reviewed place and now we know why. The atmosphere is upscale but still warm and welcoming. We had I believe 11 people a d they handled our party like true professionals. If we ever come back on town, we will be stopping by!

Been going to scotch and sirloin for quite a few years now when I m in Wichita on business. Food is always great, as is the service. Great place to meet business clients, very comfortable atmosphere.

The cocktails were delicious, the service was good, the calamari was cooked right and very tasty. They were out out of tomahawk and lamb shops, we've ordered prime rib, it was average, nothing to be impressed, it was huge and it was cooked well as requested, I,ve been ordering in other places and flavor was average. My wife ordered rib-eye medium well, it was burned the outside, nothing to be impressed for what this kind of places must have in food quality and service...

This is not the place it used to be. We called for a reservation and the lady laughed and said we would not need one. When we showed up the hostess asked if we had a reservation and when we said no she informed us it would be about 15 minutes before she could seat us. A nice couple came in after us and they said they had reservations and she seated them right away. My wife's crab legs were ice cold and her steak was cooked rare instead of medium, we ran out of drinks twice not a very good experience.

Had a group party, service was awful do to we had one server (technically) waiting on 22 people. My group will never use Scotch again!

Great place to go eat love the staff and the busboys were realy helpful i promised them i was gonna give them a good word the food is awsome little bit on the expensive side but worth coming back to and my waitress magali was super nice made me feel realy comfortable

Good and service was amazing. Best place I have are in Wichita in the 16 years I have lived in kansas.
