Scotch and Sirloin has definitely stepped up their game. Their remodel has done wonders for both the exterior and the ambiance for the interior. Food is amazing. My favorite is the filet, medium rare. They have a great selection of liquor. Their serving staff has also improved very much. Becca is awesome! My husband and I love this place.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere very welcoming but intimate.

I went here for a lunch meeting. Food was great, but I was even more impressed with how they were able to accommodate a group of 9 with all of the current requirements.

It was 35 minute wait to take our order and it wasnt busy. Dinner for two was 82.00 appitizer we ordered was chicken livers they were tender very good. 2 salads i ordered 12 oz prime rib my husband ordered salmon his came with grilled squash wich was burnt only one potato of your choice we chose baked loaded. Dessert was chocolate cake they were out of the carrot cake. It was 2 hours in the door till out the door and only 6 tables of 2 people to serve and wait on. We saw at least a dozen workers. Ridiculous. The remodel was very nice beautiful ceiling i didnt like listening to rap music while dinning in a up scale resturant for the price paid.

Used to love this place but first time going during lunch and it was terrible. Bus boy kept cussing while changing linens. Two waitresses were talking about fighting another waitress because she wasn't the boss. Then, somebody came along showing the place for a party & stood over our table selling it for 10 minutes. Terrible experience... food was fine but lunch menu not exactly impressive.

Prime rib was cold and had to return it but by that time everyone was almost done eating. Too bad because i could not really enjoy it plus it tasted like they just shoved into a microwave. Never go there again.

Took 45 mins to get drinks then another hour to get food and it really wasn t that great. Waste of 180 dollars just go to bjs or long horn down the street.

They have great food, but don't go for dinner. You will have to spend a fortune on food that does not live up to the price. Will not be going back.

Great place to eat. This is a cornerstone of Wichita. I had the sea bass, absolutely great. This is my place in Wichita not out of place when I have to come directly from work with a suit. Great place to have dinner over business.

Love this place! The prime rib sandwich is to die for. The potato soup is the best you'll ever find. Keep in mind it's only served on Thursdays.

Went here with my husband on a date night a few weeks ago. Moved to the area and yet to eat here. Can honestly say we will never eat here again. My husbands steak had to be sent back twice because as told to us by the waitress that medium well doesn't mean the same thing it does at other steak places as it does here. We were never rude or unpleasant we understand that things happen, however the waitress became rude and made several ignorant comments. My favorite being, when asked how my crab legs were I stated that they might want to check on the freezer date because they were freezer burned and also tasted fishy, the response was well they are fish. She assured me they were not frozen, at this point a simple asked for the managed who did confirm that they were frozen! Our drinks were never refilled unless we chased down someone for more. Our food was brought to the table by a food runner wearing plastic gloves, very appetizing.

I am on vacation in Wichita visiting a friend. My friend invited me to scotch & sirloin for dinner. I must say this ithey have the best wine selection and the best bone-in ribeye and ever tasted

Very tasty and expensive. The whisky i bought came to $30.00. For one Jack Daniel's, neat!

Recomendation for appetizer its the chicken wings they are excellent and the flash fry calamari.

Food came cold with poor wait staff for our company dinner

Food and service was excellent as always. Just took a bit longer than it should have to get our food. However, will definitely continue to visit.

Great ambiance. Amazing food. Responsive wait staff. And to top it off, I got to have my first tumbleweed!

A Wichita tradition, continues to set the bar for premier Steakhouses.

There has been a long continuing decline in food quality over the last couple of years. On my most recent visit, I ordered a ribeye and was served a sirloin. Did not have time to send it back. The bread was hard as a rock, and the salad appeared to be a bagged variety with a few other things scattered over the top. The French Fries were very good though and my wife said she liked her chicken kabob.

I can't imagine I'll go back unless somebody gives me another gift certificate. This used to be a place to go to when you to be certain of getting a fabulous dinner. Logan's Roadhouse now has far superior food and service, at a lesser price.

Its not like it use to be...food is ok, pricey, and basically a place to find the locals that still believe its "something". Not impressed.

Top restaurant in down town wichita! A must visit for good food n drinks.

The food is excellent and flavorful. The service is exceptional, however, the restaurant can be busy at times as it is popular. Have a little patience and you will be in for a treat.

The food here is consistently great. The service is usually exceptional and the updated decor give it a very pleasant atmosphere. Traditional steakhouse fare so not a menu that will wow you if your feeling adventurous. Overall very good.

Great food in Wichita. Really enjoyed our lunch. I can see that this place is one of the places to be on a Friday evening for dinner.

Texas road House steak taste better and it's way way cheaper but I enjoy my time there

Overrated... Food was ok but service was HORRIBLE! Our server was pretty rude, had an attitude and was quite bitchy. Ironically, the owner was sitting across from us having dinner w/ a wine rep. Bill was $164, we tipped $15 due to the slow service and not to mention the attitude we got from server. Also it's Thursday and it was dead, will not be returning...

Food was great but, we felt rushed through our dinner experience there. When going to nice places like this you expect to be not rushed right through the door. I wish they could have taken a little more time with us. Other than that it was fine.

Ambiance was good, but I've had a better Filet at Bonefish Grill. I ordered it medium and while the center was perfect, the top was charred which over powered the flavor; very disappointing.

The owner of the shop took 45 dollars in the invoice illegally and did not inform us, while calculating some of the items twice

First, the pricing is marked wrong, this is a very expensive place. The waiter staff will offer substitute but then charge extra with out mentioning the up charge.
On the plus side a wide choice of scotch, and my lamb was excellent. The side dish was cold, but replaced quickly.
Atmosphere was good for people to have a conversation in.

Not the best place for vegetarians! The focus is on steak. The chopped salad is very good. Wait staff is very attentive. Prices are on the high end of the scale.

Had the mother's day brunch, simply wasn't up to expectations

We wanted to go here because it is supposed to be "iconic" to Wichita. We'll put it like this: if "classy" is defined as outdated jazz and carpet with Higgins from Magnum P.I. holding a glass of Brandy at a rear corner table, and you just happened to be an overly-ornamented business man with huge hair; THIS is your joint. If you want classy, let me recommend Chester's Chophouse or Granite City. This place was well over-priced with leathery rib-eye steak (french fries and what appears to be a bagged salad on a $28 meal?? Really??), a weak menu (frog legs and chicken livers on the appetizer list), and waitresses dressed like retired strippers...short skirts, revealing tops, complete with sequin booty-shorts? Pretty trashy for a "classy joint". WEAK. There are other great places to wine and dine with professional service.

Good steaks, friendly service. Did not check out the whiskey but the wine list could be better. Has the issual suspects but thats about it, do be more inspired. Overall a guaranteed good experience.

Steak and king crab legs are our favorite! Always cooked to perfection. Excellent wine selection always at the perfect temperature with the correct wine glass. The servers are educated for the perfect selection if you are not. The tag team wait staff always has you covered and are always pleasent.

Upscale with out being pretentious. I was mildly disappointed with the Coq o Vin. I would go back and get a steak this time. Their wine selection is good.

Always consistently great food and service. 51 yrs in business, they must be doing a lot of things right in business to remain open for that duration of time!

Scotch and sirloin always offers exceptional service. My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and had a great night. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating. We got the spinach and artichoke which was fantastic, we had a hard time not finishing it. We also both got steaks which were well cooked and flavorful. I would definitely reccomend for a nice night out!

This used to be a great place to eat but not anymore. You can occasionally get a great item but a great meal is out of the question. Please sell this place to somone who gives a damn.

Stopped by chance as curb appeal it does not have, but once inside very nice and relaxing. WE ATE SEVERAL appetizers which were delicious. SHRIMP SCAMPI AND STEAK VERY TASTY. COST WISE WOW! EXPENSIVE

Always a great place for a quick business lunch or a nice dinner.

My crew took me there for my birthday. Disappointed in my ribeye for the high price I paid. Although my crew that ordered the seafood liked that and my other crewmate that ordered a KC Strip steak said that was good. All in all VERY expensive.

The service was amazing. I had the sea bass and it was wonderfully prepared.

The Scotch & Sirloin is the institution of institutions in Kansas restaurant history and lore. Every weekday the joint is packed at lunch with businessmen sporting professional love handles, chomping on steak, drinking martinis and closing deals. More business and commerce is done at this restaurant than any other in the Midwest. They do steak best and the prime rib sandwich is the way to go. Don't miss ginormous shrimp cocktails for starters. I can only give 4 stars because I prefer the previous ownership and the slightly seedy, speakeasy aura of the establishment.

Great restaurant, good food, relaxing atmosphere and very clean. And to Top it all off, an incredible Wine selection. However the service was a little off the day I went. Maybe because this time I was in a group setting. There were approximately 28 of us. We were to receive a Salad with bread before the meal. No bread came out. When I brought it to the servers attention, I was told that it would come out with the meal. I politely showed her our menu showing that it stated salad and bread preceding the meal. There was still no bread. I then spoke with the hostess who said I will let the manager know. Short time later our table was brought some bread however the other tables in our group were not. When the meal came there was no vegetables on the plate as seen in photos. Then a few minutes later another server brought around a plate of vegetables and started adding them to everyones plates. I have never had this happen before at this restaurant. Maybe it is something new that they do now. It just struck me a little odd.
However this one experience will not detour me from continuing to enjoy this fine establishment, and Please do not let it detour you from going. ( As everyone is entitled to have an off day. )

Down rated because the quality of the food and service is erratic. Went from better to bad our last visit. Were treating friends from out of town, and dinner was a disaster. Three stars only because of better visits in the past.

Nice ambiance. Steaks are cooked well. I hear a lot about steaks in the Midwest maybe they were over hyped. Not a bad place and maybe just don't set huge expectations. Got the rib eye with Cajun rub. But didn't taste the Cajun really. I almost forgot I got it

Portions are decent sized but I can't make my mind up on the price points. I feel like I'm getting "Longhorns or Texas Roadhouse" type quality dishes but paying fine-dining prices... however, having said that, their wine and drink selection is VERY impressive though

Lunch menu has plenty of options for a variety of tastes

We went for a work lunch with about 14 of us. We had the 'airplane' room to ourselves. Our waitress was quiet and she had to repeat the special of the day after we all quieted down. Order was accurate but not awesome. Living in Wichita my whole life, S&S had been for the "rich and fancy" and maybe this lead to a less than stellar experience as my expectations where set high. I have not been for dinner so maybe it would be better.

#romantic place with amazing wine menu. Already known for excellent steak offerings. Arrived late in the evening but had a great service.

My order was wrong both times I've been. It's pretty simple. I'm on a diet so I ask that my fish be grilled. Both times I've asked the server if this can be done and both times the fish came back pan fried with a light breading. I also ask that steamed or grilled vegetables be the only side that comes with it. Their grilled vegetables are not grilled. Nope. Sauteed. In fat. They will also bring out rice and pan fried potatoes. This is not a good place for people trying to diet. Yet, it easily could be.

A good note: The food is delicious. I just can't eat it.

I personally enjoyed my food but I had several people in my party that felt like there was a lot left to be desired especially for the price point
