Honestly, the best part about this waterpark is the ability to take our kids on 90% of the attractions. We have children ranging from 3 to 11. Our 3 year old rode almost everything and LOVED it. The atmosphere is so beautiful and all natural. Being a local resident for almost 10 years, I can not believe we had never been until 2018. First time was in July and we have gone 3 times since. We loved it! The lines are less crowded on Sunday visits! Will definitely have season passes from here on out!

The resort was beautiful. The location was very favorable and we enjoyed the hour before and after in the water park for resort guests. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. We would of liked to have more access to information about the park in our rooms. We had no idea what was the deal with Comal River or if it was part of the park or not. We highly suggest connecting credit cards to room keys or wrist bands. It was very inconvenient to have to carry around $$ to use throughout the park, because the park is so big we didn't want to use lockers and end up across the park and have to backtrack to get them. And maybe because it was technically still preseason but the food lines were absolutely ridiculous. We will bring lunch and dinner next time to avoid wasting hours waiting in line for food. The water temperature was perfect, and all the rides themselves were very fun.

The season pass is very misleading because during the pandemic we re asked to make reservations (understandable) and when you go to the reservations page it has availability however once you purchase the tickets the available slots disappear. So it makes it seem like you can buy tickets and book the day that you want when in reality it isn t available and your stuck with very expensive tickets that you cannot use on your preferred dates. I tried calling to which most of the time I was sent to voicemail. I left messages and never got a call back. When I finally called in and got a representative I was told that I would get a call back shortly. It s been two days. I ve yet to receive a call back. Furthermore, I have to go the new braunfels location to get my season pass prior to using it in Galveston since it s a two park pass. But you cannot get into new braunfels without a reservation and of course there s no availability on the only day that I can go. So I m now stuck with season passes that I paid $320 for and cannot use. I miss the old schlitterbahn.

There are not many tires for all people 3 bathrooms for all people and it is divided into two parts and because that takes a lot of time from going from one to the other there was a section where the water was too dirty it has good attractions but on holidays too many people

We enjoy Schlitterbahn but the last couple of times we've been, there have been a shortage of tubes for the long loop that runs from the tree house bldgs down to the other end of that side (newer) of the park and back again and plenty of angry people that are waiting for tubes... Getting refills on Thirstblaster Passes has been difficult, too, this year. I understand completely that the machines were turned around to stop soda thievery but there are spots designated as drink refill stations that aren't manned with a regular employee in order to handle the volume of refill requests that come in. If you are planning to go to the park, bring an ample supply of patience and go with the flow until the kinks they're experiencing get worked out...

So much fun and we stayed at their resort too which was a great deal. I took one star off because I ended up with a terrible rash on my feet and legs and my wife got a nose full of water and was sick with a cough for 4 or 5 weeks, which went from one family member to the next. Maybe coincidence but it makes me wonder if it was a bad water day...
EDIT: I was out in the sun again this week on vacation in Rhode Island and got the same rash, so it's either sunscreen or the sun I'm sensitive too... nothing to do with the water at Schlitterbahn.

You'll have fun with the family. The only thing that I don't like is the wait in line for a ride. Average was one hour for a 15 -20 sec ride. So if you don't mind the wait, it's pretty fun. Tx is a hot and sunny state so don't forget the sun block.

So much fun! Great slides, Great options for all ages. They allow ice chests to feed your family! So glad there is a bus from one park to other. Downfall is that it is long waits for most slides and drinks and food is outrageous! Otherwise Id give 5 stars

Best water park in the world and people literally come to the park from all over the world. Plan to stay at least 2 days to go on all the rides. The park is so big it is in 2 sections that you have to take a tram to go between. Park opens early for guests who are staying at the Schlitterbahn accommodations. Very family friendly and clean. You can bring in your own food and drinks. Staff is very friendly and there are a bunch of life guards so you never have to worry about your safety. Come early though since sometimes the park does reach capacity and they have to turn away people.

This is supposed to be a family place but yet anyone is a wheelchair won't be able to travel around because non of the Schlitterbahn parks have ramps!!! And if you bring an ice chest be sure to pack light because there are ALOT of stairs! Such a disappointment! Another thing my husband went on down a baby slide with our 11 month old (the guy said it was okay) then when I go another guy said no your baby has to go alone.... No never coming back

Never been so drunk at a waterpark in my life. & I am from Florida. This park had really cool attractions that I've never seen or tried and were really fun. Drinks are really strong too. #1 water ride in America the master blaster was exciting and the river is no lazy river but filled with rapid and falls

We visited last on the Memorial Day, so it was very busy. Free parking was still possible to find! As were tables to put your cooler and things. The only problem being the wait times for the popular water rides. Which Schlitterban tried to solve introducing the Blast Pass that will run you additional $35 per person per day! This is an expensive cousin of the Disney's egalitarian and free FastPass queue management technology. If done in the no-cost any-guest-can-use-it way as it is at Disney I'd be very much for it, but paying extra for VIP access is not a preferred solution from the guest perspective. A better way would be to have a unique barcode on each wrist band and fast pass kiosks to scan them and make a reservation in the system that would show the guest when to arrive to the attraction and be admitted in the fast track queue controlled by another barcode scan to avoid the need for the costly little watch like devices.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite it was okay not like when we came a few years ago and had a cabin it was much better. Me and my family came for spring break the experience was just okay nothing too bad but nothing great either. We did get to go to the water park this time which was ok. The suite should just be called a room because its nothing like a suite I've been in at other resorts. Had lots of mosquitos and sink stopped up and carpets look dingy. Did enjoy having a kitchen to cook for the kiddos. I didn't like it my kids said they enjoyed it so thats what matters.

Great staff. delicious junk food. Life jackets for the little ones. Rides have long lines that can take hours, and I once got stuck in the middle of a giant human traffic clog on their river ride, it felt scary, unsafe, and I sunburned from sitting there for a good half hour while the lifeguards sorted us out. It was a one time issue and I'm sure nobody's fault but my point is, refresh your sunscreen before going on rides even if you dont need it yet.

This is definitely a place to come with the kids and the family to barbecue and have a wonderful time. If you love to tube it is a must try out the tube chute. I've been going here all my life and I definitely have to say times have changed there is a lot more officers around. There's a lot more rules than there used to be. But none the less it is still a wonderful place to go to. From the train ride to the parks and the frisbee golf and the basketball courts for the tennis courts there is something for everyone.

It truly is the best waterpark in Texas ever for ALL ages! Free parking free shuttle buses to their parks and shower facilities available before you go home. You can bring your own ice chest full of drinks and food - no glass or alcohol. You can purchase Adult drinks in the park. They have a few swim up bars and the frozen Adult drinks are delicious! Plenty of great fun water rides for all ages. Rides ranging from high intensity to just relaxing and then you have your awesome kiddie pool areas that will surely wear the little ones out while they have a blast on water slides and neat boats or octopus they can climb into and play. Highly recommended for everyone of all ages.

SO huge. So many rides. Gets really crowded and line management/efficiency is very low quality, but it's possible to just try another part of the park & it won't be so crowded. The Falls -continous tube river ride is the most relaxing thing!

Attitude of the supervisors and life guards needs adjustments and better people skills. One of my family members grabbed a tube from the wrong place, little did we know that was going to start a chain of events. When we were told to return them, we did. So we were sent to wait by the water. Then another lifeguard sent us to the first place only to be yelled at by the supervisor. After that we we're being followed and micro-managed. Then one lifeguard tells us (as we're leaving to difuse the situation.) "You're lucky to be here, you don't appreciate being here"...
The lack of respect is disgusting especially if you're in front of your family. I guess we're luck we didn't get kicked out by force for listening.

Great time as always with the family. I did learn that next time to bring stroller for my 1 year old, for some reason I thought the park had available to rent but I was wrong, they do not. I stayed in the kid areas mostly anyway this time but would have made things a lot easier considering all the baby things you need to take with you and the walking.

The park was fun. Staff not familiar with park. We stayed in the tree houses which are great and got. But. When we would ask staff for directions or had general questions the staff never new the answer and sent us to another staff who couldn't asnswer the questions either
