This place is HUGE - so you should definitely reserve multiple days in order to hit everything they have to offer. My family and I always have a blast here. The only down side is the absurdly long lines as well as the outrageous prices of food - but that s pretty normal for a waterpark of this size and volume.

Great family place. Stay a few days if you can to get the most of the place.

I have to say this is probably the greatest water park I have ever been to. My daughter who was 4 at the time was able to go on nearly everything and loved it.

Hottest coolest time in Texas!!! Free parking and you can bring your own food this is what keeps me coming back here after year after year you get more than your moneys worth. Skip the weekend and go during the week if you go on a Saturday or Sunday you ll be waiting in lines for an hour plus if you go during the week it will not be bad at all.

Loved this water park so much! We were there on a busy summer weekend day, but it didn't seem ridiculously packed. It seemed clean, bathrooms were aplenty. The staff were helpful. We rented a cabana and were so spoiled with great food service and the shade and place to rest was totally worth the money for our large group.
We would be back often if it were a little less pricey, but it was a great "once" trip for us.

Schlitterbahn Waterpark was pretty fun. There was enough to do to keep a family entertained for a whole day.
A couple things that I think are important to know is that the old side of the park is powered by the river so the rides are river water. Some of the rides get really backed up. There were places were the tubes just wouldn t go, there are lifeguards who are in the parts of the ride to push you along but not in all parts, which leaves you bumping into others or trying to use your arms frantically to move.
I would give more stars but one of the lifeguards threw her hands up at my son while he was on the Conga River Ride, saw his tube was not moving and then instead of going to help him kept blowing her whistle and throwing her hands up at him as he tried to move his tube. It wouldn t go and she just kept blowing her ridiculous whistle instead of offering help. That s poor service.
Also the lines were not that long but went so slow. Waited 1.5 hours for the master blaster and 1 hour for the wolf pack, but there was not that many people ahead of us. Just disorganized and slow.
The conveyor belt for the wolf pack was down for 25 minutes and no one bothered to tell us.

Was glad took bees able to enjoy the oak on their 40th year anniversary!

Great experience! Bought the family pack of four with the blast passes, was a little pricey but being we only come once a year the price for the passes is way better than standing in line for hours on end to get on a ride. All the rides we wanted to get on were running, food that came with the tickets was good, and was able to picnic on a table we found by the river. Facilities were clean, parking and shuttles ran smoothly. Will be back next year forsure.

So much fun, but lines so long unless you want to pay A LOT of extra money to cut in line with their blessing, and cut your waiting time in half

Best waterpark! Watch out for speed traps around the park.

schlitterbahn is fantastic! i go and ride every ride! master blaster isn't really worth the wait but the dark slides next to it are awesome!

One thing about this place is I'd advise you to wear shoes while walking around, the ground gets so hot and your feet will burn!

Lots of fun water areas, Buses for shuttle between parks, Free parking and lockers if you need

This was the best water park we have ever been to! Lots of shade trees, cool water, and plenty of room to spread out. We went on a Thursday, they were not to busy. Longest line the kids waited in was approximately 30-45 minutes. I would highly recommend this park!!

Schlitterbahn on Liberty is also known as "the old side." It's actually my favorite; although the new side is great, too. Go early in the season and during the week for the shortest lines.

I try to go here once a year. It's around a 9 hour drive from where I live, but its totally worth it. Great summer vacation spot!

It's consistently voted the best water park in the world, but it still has a homespun family feel. There is ample free parking and you can bring a picnic to enjoy at one of the mant shaded tables. It's loads of fun for people of all ages.

This park has left a legacy of fun across generations of my friends and family.

My favorite waterpark!!! So many fun things to do! The two day pass is the best so you don't miss out on any of the rides!

This park should have more maps available. We spent most of our time wandering around in circles, trying to figure out how to get to the rides. Eventually we gave up and went back to the lazy river..

Great Family Spot! If you plan on staying a while, Bring an ice chest with food and drinks. Shallow enough for young kids and perfect for adults to put a chair in the water and hang out.

First time ever there loved it besides feeling old. Lol

We had a great visit. We were able to bring food in with us. We rented a cabana it had comfortable seats a plenty of shade.

Discrimination!!!! My husband is a 6 4 and 300 pound a large man. But his weight is evenly distributed!!! They wouldn t let him ride numerous rides at Schlitterbahn. So be aware if you re over 250 pounds you will no longer be able to ride the rides at Schlitterbahn!!!
I ve tried several times to contact them and they keep sending me to a voicemail and no one will call me back. Don t even buy a ticket if your over 250 they have you stand on a scale and completely embarrass you. It was awful we were trying to beg people to just let him ride because he s actually weight less then he did last summer and we rode all the rides. I just want to warn people so that your loved ones aren t hurt the way my husband was!!!

This is the best waterpark I have visited in my life. That does not mean it is the best in the world but it is up there. The only problem with it over the years they have gotten rid of some of the rides like the family blaster and never replaced them with newer ride. This has led the second part of this waterpark with very limited rides.

Horrible place....first time coming here and ew gross gross gross I waited 3 hours to get 1 funnel cake Bc they kept messing it up....never coming here again.

A bunch of my family comes here every summer. It is a lot of fun. The park does need some updating though. Also, this time when we visited the lifeguards through the park were extremely rude. The only staff that was really nice were the people in the resort office.

Me and family had a blast for our 1st time! The July 4th fireworks showcase was amazing! We'll be back next year! Thx Schlitterbahn!!

This is the only water park I remember visiting that incorporates the use of natural spring water on their water slides! What a fun experience!

If you're in New Braunfels Texas you need 2 come down to schlitterbahn waterpark and enjoy the great water and beautiful views. This area of Texas is beautiful. It's a great places to have family fun.

Awesome time with the family. Make sure to get the Blast Pass so you don't have to wait in line.

Disappointed that don't have double tubes, especially when you have kids to take care of. South padre island is smaller but dont have to get out of the water every single time to get on the rides.

It's fun and a cool water park, you will need more than 1 day to explore the whole park.

Parking needs to improve and the bathroom/dressing room really needs to improve a lot.. you take a shower and want to get dress to your nice clothes to go San Antonio river Walk and it's a 2 inches of water all over. I can't believe all the money you pay to get in per person that they can't get this remodel.

I handed been going to Schlitterbahn for over 30 years. I stayed going as a small child with my family. Yesterday I got to take my two sons! There was plenty for my 2 year old to do as well as plenty for my 14 year old. Schlitterbahn is a great place for the whole family.

This is original old school water park. The east side may be all modern, but the west side has long rambling slides just like a lazy river at times, but with drop offs and sometimes a real river at the end! Cool stuff.

This is a great place to take the family or friends and go tubing. There are fun shoots down the river, the environment is peaceful, and we always run into friendly people!
