I don't know how you guys feel about this hotel. Personally, this is the literally worst hotel I've stayed. First off, they claimed themselves as 4 star-hotel, and yet they don't have nothing in the room such as microwave. Also, the highest-level of internet they can provide, couldn't even run the league of legend, how ridiculous? I even tried to plug the Ethernet to the wall, and guess what? They don't have connection, i'm just guessing the Ethernet outlet is just for show? huh? Hilton is even better than this one.

The room is nice and clean which is a plus. The management is doing a terrible job with communication to guests though. There is nothing in the room to describe amenities. There are a lot of them here, but you have to know about them and ask for access. There's a shuttle but no one tells the guests anything about that. There's a spa on site which costs an additional fee. The advertised hot tub and heated pool are both in the spa so you can't use those without spending an addition $25 per person per day for access. There's in room Wi-Fi advertised. But that costs an additional so $19.95 and doesn't work. It keeps booting me off. Continental breakfast is $17 per person per day.

I visited Sawgrass Marriott and I was very satisfied with the accommodations. The staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful. The cleaning staff were very helpful and did a fantastic job of cleaning our room. I visited Sawgrass for business but I would stay here if I were ever in town for anything else.

Terrible bad place

Terrible bad place
Ridiculous beach club
Crazy prices for a bad service and product
Spiders all around and dirty outside
A really mess hotel
Never again
Also bad staff and manager

The place is nice enough. I had a suite/extended stay that felt dated. It smelled funny when I first walked in, but the smell went away after turning on the fan. The shower didn't get completely hot and the water smells really bad.

1) Room had mold

1) Room had mold
2) Room had cockroaches
3) The gate in the self park lot was broken most of the week
4) The room next to me was loud late into the night - I was traveling for business and trying to sleep

I did show the mold and cockroach pictures to the front desk and they moved me for my final night. Inspect your room before setting your belongs down or getting into bed!

Just came back from a very nice mini-vacation at this resort. The service was always excellent and the employees very nice for the most part. The hotel is very well maintained and the villas are spacious and clean, well equipped and with a beautiful view of the water and nature from your balcony. You also get a mini-fridge, micro-wave, single serving coffee maker and silverware. Two flat screen TV's and separate living-dining area from the bedroom. It has two very comfy double beds and a sofa bed.
There's also plenty of activities to do: two adult pools, two kiddie pools, two outdoor hot tubs. Bikes for rental, ping pong, etc. Several restaurants and bars serve pretty good food and the drinks are excellent. They are not cheap: drinks at the pool are $10 for the cocktails. $15 at the beach club. A sandwich at the beach club costs $16. There's also a mini golf course and bikes for rental. There's a gym with the essentials if you want to work out, which has a crystal wall overlooking the path and grounds that surround the main pool.
On Saturday there was a DJ 'BC' playing excellent music all day long next to the pool.
The beach club is OK. Looks a little dated and I noticed the pool needed some maintenance, as you could see green patches (algae) at the bottom. Also in one of the hot tubs at the main hotel, which I think is unacceptable for a hotel of this category... but that pretty much was the only thing I disliked in the 3 days we spent here. The other pools and hot tub were very clean.
I will definitely come back. My kids, wife and a friend that came with us also had a great time.

I stayed here for a conference held at the resort. The room was large and very comfortable. I loved the view and you can even open the window a little bit! I was super productive on the in room chase. The TVs have Netflix, and all you have to do is put your account info in. The conferences side was first class. Good food, comfy chairs, and very professional staff! I can't say enough about how polite and professional all of the servers, assistants, and bartenders were. Also, the pub is awesome! I felt like I found my favorite bar only to discover that it's 1000 miles away. I definitely want to come back here for a leisure trip.

It was nice to come back to a very nice hotel after a long day on the links. Definitely recommend staying at the Marriott very polite and very professional staff. The pool area was very nice had a tiki bar and a wave pool. Ping pong tables, chess set and a mini daycare for the little ones. The rooms have great bedding which to me is very important. Definitely recommend if ever in Ponte Vedra Beach area.

In main tower, on 7th floor, good luck getting your room to feel cold. Beautiful property though. Meeting spaces would go from freezing to desert. Due to the lack of temperature control, I would have a hard time staying here again.

Really quite a nice hotel overall. Here for a conference and I enjoyed the pool on my first day. Drinks and food are good (even if the service staff at the restaurants is way to over zealous, trying to take food away when you pause to breath...). Room is big and comfortable. Wish there was a pod coffee machine, but minor quibble.

Rooms were nice. Restaurants were nice also and the price was not crazy considering where we were. Breakfast buffet was awesome. The amenities were very nice. My 5 year old loved the pools and he loved the cabana club that the shuttle takes you to. He also decided he loves ping pong after playing there. What really made the place was the staff. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Especially in the kid and outdoor rec areas. A guy named Alex especially who worked at the pool and kid area and the cabana club area made us feel like we had been best friends for 10 years every time we ran into him. He was always super accommodating when it came to entertainment for my little man (they had an outdoor kids movie, goodies at the cabana club...etc). Its people like Alex that make me want to frequent a hotel like this again. Excellent customer service! Also the mini golf is not really little kid fun mini golf and more serious golfer mini golf fun.

This hotel was decent enough. We had our holiday party here and I must say that what we paid for food was less than stellar. The room itself was dark and the decor they brought in was too small for the space. There was bigger ornaments outside the space than inside. The staff was the saving grace id this operation.

Rooms are spacious and clean, although if you are waiting for one, it will take a while. Staff was willing to bend over to assist me, even offering to help with things i didnt mention. There are several activities and resturaunts on the grounds, and a publix and abc liquor are right across the street.

A handsome resort adjoining the Sawgrass golf course, the Sawgrass Marriott offers luxury with a leisurely atmosphere.

Lovely landscaping, a wide range of activities on site, and comfortable surroundings will please the vast majority of visitors. The prices vary widely for those just seeking a room and those looking for the experiences that are offered in package deals.

We really enjoyed our room. It was clean, modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The large windows yielded handsome views of the very green landscaping.

Service was very good on the housekeeping end. Ours was friendly, fastidious, and unintrusive, but there was a day where she didn't appear until late in the afternoon for some reason. The front desk was alright. They were professional and quick, but I wouldn't say that they felt warm or particularly friendly.

Definitely a nice place; we normally don t stay in resorts, but it was business related. However, for the price, the room was not what we expected. Beds small and uncomfortable. Trash and dirt visible under furniture. Toilet kept running off and on all night. The extra resort fee was partly for upgraded internet, but I still had to sit in the lobby to get a signal strong enough to work. My husband was busy with meetings and could not use amenities, so for our $25/day resort fee he got a half-sized bottle of water. Only one pack of caffeinated coffee for two guests. Beautiful facility overall and staff very friendly. Just surprised the room was not great and felt everything was overpriced. Separate review on spa - The spa was amazing. My first experience at one and it was well worth the splurge. Staff were very professional and friendly.

Not the Marriott standard I believe we all accustom to. Bed was the best part. Room can use a little freshen up. The wifi never worked and the front counter couldn't help. The ice machine is located on the lower floor which is not a big deal but overall, I think it was an ok experience.

Stayed hear while playing in a golf outting at Sawgrass. Make sure to take advantage of their free shuttle to the hotels Cabana club / private beach (ask concierge for details). Enjoy your stay!

Rooms are dated ,very small and the walls are paper thin. We stayed out in the Villas and workers were constantly taking up the sidewalk forcing us to walk through grass or mud to get to the main Hotel.

The hotel and amenities we're very nice. Overall I had a good stay and would stay here again if I were travelling recreationally. My one complaint is that they didn't do a good job labeling their food in the conference center. The potato salad had bacon in it and it wasn't clearly labelled. Also the watermelon feta salad was listed as dairy free when it had cheese in it. More careful labeling would help people make their food choices.

Generous location, very nice rooms, great staff. Excellent venue for meetings and events. Only complaint is the room diagram shows a stove when there if not one, not even a toaster oven in the largest suite. Brought burgers and pizza to cook for a weeklong team event and they don't even have an outside BBQ we can use. Else 4/5

Great hotel and resort. Beautiful setting with a historical and impressive golf course. Service has been consistently above expectations. I have been here for 2 professional events and would recommend it for anyone's convention or tradeshow. Also family friendly with plenty of amenities for men, women, and children.

Very calming & relaxing atmosphere. Able to enjoy short walks from villas to other parts of the resort. Love the friendliness & thoughtfulness of the shutter drivers. Resort is close to restaurants, shopping & beaches . Rooms need to be updated.

We were very happy staying here in the villas. The grounds and facilities are quite nice. We took advantage of the resort amenities, with free transportation to Ponte Vedra Beach Club. Very nice. With 3 teenage boys to impress, Jacksonville Beach and staying at Sawgrass Marriott was a success:)..we do not play golf, rather went to the ice rink for stick and puck;), but the golf course is definitely an attraction!

The blankets felt awful, the AC barely worked and the toilet paper was as cheap as they could get. The hotel is beautiful and has many great amenities but the room is the most important part and it was sub par, particularly when compared to the rest of the hotel.

Don t stay at the villa, it doesn t worth spending your money here. Room is so small and the air conditioning is so loud just like a Residence Inn.

Actually I am still here at the Villa . Just took a cold shower after standing in the bathtub, waiting for hot water to come out for 10 mins. They explained to me that because the water tank is small......

My husband and I spent the night here to celebrate our 25th anniversary.
Located 5 minutes from the beach. Resort had a shuttle that takes you to their beach site, which includes a pool, pool towels, fresh cold water with fruit, snack bar and restrooms. There is a place to eat at the beach. We did not eat at the restaurant during our stay.
Rooms were very comfortable. Bed felt great, clean room. Has single serve coffee maker and refrigerator.
Beautiful grounds but the place was going through renovation on part of the grounds and building so some areas were fenced off.
Nice pool area, ping pong and corn hole
Would definitely go back for a night away retreat.

They have a cool pool area. The surf station was out of commission. There is also a shuttle that will take you around town, such as CVS, restaurants, and the TPC golf course. You can also take the golf cart shuttle to the golf course. I knocked off 1 star because the parking lot is pretty far from the hotel. Additionally, I knocked off another star as there was something wrong with the parking check out machine. I tried to insert my ticket, but it would not accept it. I had to press cancel and pay the full fare. I knocked another star because we were told you cannot drive to the TPC golf course, but had to take the shuttle. When we got to the course, we were told anyone can drive to the course!

Great staff. Here for a conference. Food is Good but pricey....but then again it is a resort. Great happy hour priced at ALice and Pete's pub and again good food. Be aware that at the pool bar they automatically charge you an 18 o/o service charge but do not openly disclose this. No other bar on site does this!

Great resort, friendly bell and front desk staff, very clean, beautiful grounds, good food, however the room service was very slow. We asked for additional pillows and towels, waited for an hour, and had to call again.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

Absolutely beautiful!!!

Fire pits outside.
Swimming pools that are open and perfect for small kids. They even have a wading pool for toddlers and smaller children!!

There is a golf course with gold carts...its not open right now I don't think.
Full size Starbucks. A pub with a pool table.
A fresh garden...I mean....its beautiful. No matter what I say...you are still going to go have to go stand in it yourself.

I can see why golf legends choose this place. One guy even looked like Tiger Woods

OMG my Husband and I really enjoyed our visit to Marriott Sawgrass. We spent the majority of our time out by the pool. The poolside bar service was excellent. We really appreciated Kathy in the Spa. We will return next summer with our family and friends.

Stayed here twice in Aug 2020. The first time I had a room with a view in the main building, the second time I stayed in a villa. The villas could definitely use some updating, but overall they re not too bad. In the villa some of the tv channels were fuzzy/had poor reception (not that I was watching a lot of tv, just something I noticed), and I m not a fan of the sheets they use (not breathable). I enjoyed the Cabana Club access, and definitely took advantage of that during both stays. Also enjoyed the mini golf, bike rental and drink vouchers.

Picturesque grounds, a dramatic lobby view and putt putt golf course are among the highlights of the resort. Having an adult pool on other side from family area was nice too. Full service Starbucks on site. The villas are 0.5 mile drive from main building and 3-5 minute scenic walk back. Personally I prefer rooms in main building for easier access to conference area and restaurant/bars. I talked to others who didnt mind the villas.
Fitness center is 24 hours in a third building where spa is. At Vernon's restaurant I had the black grouper which was very good.
