I have NEVER in my life dealt with a better bunch of guys. Plus, I got such a good deal on my wifes car, I went back the next week, I bought myself a new truck. Leon Meyers sold us both cars and I would recommend him to everyone. Also, Jeff and Adam were outstanding.

The Sauers family is like my family. This vehicle makes about the 10th vehicle I bought from them. Second this year. The purchase process is easy and quick. AJ in sales is great to work with and pays attention to detail. The service department has always been great to me. If my service appointment takes longer than expected, I am offered a loaner. The service department is one of the biggest reason I trade there. Kim Sauers has always come up with a fair deal.

I am not out to bash a dealership because I know every business is looking to make money. However, I stopped in to look a used vehicle. It's essentially my dream vehicle as well as my family expanding and needed a new vehicle. The original numbers were quite a bit high and that's ok. My disappointment comes as that they were not willing to work with us to get the payments lower. Wanted to be at a certain payment and we were about $100 off a month. My wife and I talked it over for about a week and said we would be able to do about half of where they were quoting us, so we went in to talk about it & they just said "No." They were not willing to work with us at all. It wouldn't be fair for me to BASH the dealership, but I know that there are other dealerships that will work with me. Unfortunately, Sauer's is just not one of them. I was really hoping to stay local, but I am looking for better customer service.

If I could rate it with negative stars I would. We came there to look at the 2001 Buick Century that was posted online for my son's first car. After we test drove it I told the sales person that the brakes squealed horribly. He went to find the mechanics inspection report but said he couldn't locate it. I told him that I was going to take the car to a mechanic in the morning to be looked over and asked what happens if they say it needs new brakes or anything else. I was assured that that wouldn't happen because cars are not put on the lot if they are not safe to drive. I took it to my mechanic that I have used for years and found out that it needed new pads and rotors on the front, had a broken sway bar and the passenger front strut was broken in two places. He told me that the car should never have left the dealership that way. $1200 later the car is safe for my son to drive. When I messaged Tracy I told her how mad I was for having to put that much money into a car I had bought less than 24 hours prior to that. She put me in contact with Brad from you service department. He basically told me that none of those issues were safety concerns and it was safe to drive and I chose to make those repairs. He told me there was nothing he was going to do to make it right. I completely understand that the car that I purchased was an older vehicle, however, when I ask point blank about mechanical issues and I am assured that there aren't any only to find out I have to spend $1200 right away to ensure my son's safety, that tends to upset a person. I will never recommend this dealership to anybody and in fact will steer them as far away as possible.

The service people Mike and Krista were very friendly and knowledgeable. My service visit was a different experience than I've ever had (in a good way).It felt like I was dealing with old friends. I will definitely be a long time customer.

I called to see if the 2016 Yukon xl is available still to purchase. When I called I was told the vehicle was not available for 2 weeks to see or test drive as it was being used by someone else. I find this very false leading on their advertising as you should not have something for sale that is actually not for sale. I was told that the vehicle shows for sale because it's in their inventory and automatically goes there when vehicle comes in but the point of false advertising is apparent with this dealership.

We live in Indianapolis - but working w/ Sauer's on a long-distance deal was truly a pleasure!! Jeff Hall was always professional, nice and oh so helpful - we met up in Lafayette to make the trade-in and sign all the papers. I was not thrilled my husband chose to take my car...

I was not thrilled my husband chose to take my car here for new tires and an alignment, as I have had a few not so great experiences with this place. This time was not any different. They had my car for 3 days! We expressed how unhappy we were several times about this and we did receive an apology. In my past experiences that is also how they "made things right." I always tell my 10 year old an apology means nothing if you keep doing the same thing you apology for. I understand things happen but everytime I gave this place a chance? It seems to be how things work there, maybe it's my luck. I hope if you choose to give this place a chance you have better luck than I did. Goodluck.

I take my Chevy here for all of the scheduled maintenance. The Service Dept. is fantastic. They explain everything to me first and if something comes up while they are working on it they ask me first before just doing it. An extra plus is the waiting room. It is very comfortable. They keep it stocked with excellent coffee and tea. I highly recommend Sauers for repairs and purchasing new vehicles!

Went in to get my muffler looked at for rattling. Told the person the rattling is coming from inside the muffler. When I got to the dealership I told them that I don't want it being serviced unless its covered by warranty. I leave, and get a call 4 hours later stating that the muffler isn't covered under warranty and it'll cost $1,350 for a new one (Ridiculous). I tell them no thanks and that I'll shop around. Get to the shop and they tell me I owe them $140. So basically I payed them $140 for them to tell me what I already knew (baffles bad inside muffler). I got the response that "there isn't a way of knowing what's covered until we test what's wrong". I'm in disbelief, considering everything I had told them. I didn't know they couldn't call the place and say "hey, is the exhaust system covered with this extended insurance plan?". Such a waste of money and time!

Very easy to deal with. Excellent customer service from test drive to signing paperwork. Jim explained all the options very well and made us fell very welcomed.
Sauers made this purchase very pleasurable and at a very good price. Much better then my past experiences with other dealers. We will recommend Sauers to all our friends and family.

Definitely would do negative if I could! My complaint is for Rhonda the Controller as well, looks like I wasn't the only one that had issues with Rhonda and the service department! Which brings me to the point that even though Rhonda basically told the BBB that I was dishonest in my complaint is completely incorrect! Yes I went elsewhere because I was getting no where with Sauers! Nielsen KIA told me right away what was wrong and didnt understand why it was difficult to find the issue. Nielsen KIA did take my vehicle as a trade in because I had so much money down the drain with it. Then what they did with it after is one thing, I was told they had fixed it. Rhonda apparently did investigateing and found they took it to auction. Ok if finding that out makes you feel better about your company you go right ahead. The point is they had 100% better customer service! I was not incorrect by my complaint, seeing as Savannah Hefty basically had the same complaint I did. My advice NEVER do business with Sauers!

I drove from California for a visit. Brought my 05 Catillac CTS for a return trip service. Tim the Service Rep and Joe the Mechanic did a great job getting my vehicle serviced and ready to drive back. I had verious service work accomplished like Fuel Filter replaced, Differential Service, Transmission flushed and filled, Water Pump replaced and coolant exchange. This service was completed as promised and on time. Thanks for your attention to detail and hard work.

Got a call from a guy calling himself Steve who was absolutely unprofessional. Worst salesmen in the world. I Cannot believe how poor his communication skills are. He blatantly lied to me and my wife and peppered his jargon with misinformation and outright lies. Needless to say Steve lost Sauers our business before we even stepped on the lot. Thanks Steve.

Rhonda the controller doesn t make calls back because she knows I m an upset and mad customer due to the service department not being honest and acting on what they say their about, but she ll respond publicly to reviews on here and lie straight through her teeth so that s why I m leaving this review. Not to mention how the service department makes stuff up to get more money to fix your vehicle when those things weren t really fixed on it. A different dealer was surprised after I told them some stuff that was fixed because they didn t appear to be new parts.

I ve had my vehicle in there multiple times (4 times to be exact) to be serviced because of an issue with my car chugging, engine light coming on, and acting up in general. They ve had my car for a total of 2 months all together combined with all the days they ve had it and each time I ve come in to pick up my fixed car, it was never fixed when they assured me it was and then proceeded to ask me for payment. Now I totally understand paying for things is necessary because nothing in life is free but here I am, after 4 times of my car being fixed , my car does the same thing and I m out almost a grand worth of repairs that didn t need done. I then took it to autozone the same day I picked it up after being fixed and they were able to get the codes my car was giving and what would you know?!?! IT WAS GIVING THE SAME CODES THAT MY CAR HAS BEEN THROWING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THEM FIXING MY CAR! They told me this last time that they figured out what the problem was and then they fixed it, but when I get there to pick up my car, they suddenly changed their minds and said no, it s still acting up so give us a little more time. Then they call two days later and say we know your car acted up on us after fixing what we thought was the problem and told you to wait on picking it up, but no we decided that even though you car acted up after we fixed what we thought was needed, it was fluke and your car is fine. No other work is needed.

Then I take it to a different dealership after Brad the service manager and Joe wanted to lie to me straight to my face about all the stuff with my car. Not to mention they won t directly tell me that the new damage to my car wasn t from them. There s damage to my vehicle that was never there until I picked it up from them. They claim to look at cameras but the time is never Convenient for them to do so. I will not ever tell someone this place is a good place to get their car serviced. ABSOLUTELY NOT.

I was very pleased with the work the body shop did replacing the tail gate on my truck. Sauers is a great place to have any type service, all of their Techs are trained well..I had a lightening strike on my that did a lot of damage to the electrical system and Sauers fixed my truck and it runs great, I recommend Sauers for all maintenance.

Just moved to area and was looking for decent transportation. I settled on a used truck from this facility. Was told by Jimmy (salesman) "One thing you can count on buying a vehicle from us is that its safe and this truck has been gone over thoroughly... less than 24 hours later I had to replace the thermostat seal due to leaking. (Did not leak when inspecting it on the lot.) Have nothing good to say about this place. As well as they have lost my trust for any future purchases.

Had to call to see if my part was in. Spent 4 hours + 2 hours round trip drive time for them to say they had the wrong part, and car still not fixed. I am very upset after spending so much on a car that now needs to be fixed, my time is worth nothing to them. Sorry just is not good enough. Now I have to waste another day off for the same thing, NOT HAPPY.

I was searching for a specific car make, model, and color. I found it at Sauers, and I'm so glad I did. The process couldn't have been easier. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly nice and professional. I'm in a different state, and I was able to complete the entire buying process over email and the phone. The finance department even found me a loan with better interest than the preappoval from my bank I was planning to use.

Plus, they were able to deliver my new car to me. I'm thrilled with my new car, and I can't get over how easy the whole process was.

I've definitely had times in the past sitting in dealerships for hours, dealing with rude sales people, having certain cars pushed, getting back and forth answers, etc. This was the opposite of that and just an overall great experience. I'd recommend Sauers to anyone. Thanks again!!!

Took my truck in for an alignment after installing...

Took my truck in for an alignment after installing a leveling kit (common practice to do so after such an install). The following day after the alignment it became apparent that there was a positive camber on the front tires, called and they said to bring it down. After bringing the truck back they refused to solve the issue (mind you both the service writer and manger agreed that the tires were both tilted outward) without me paying for another alignment. They showed me on the print out where the camber was a 0 degrees and said it was in spec, after both saying it was tilted outward. They also stated that they could not call it complete unless the numbers were in the "green", upon further inspection of the report (that I had to ask for today, wasn't even shown this report when picking up the truck) the report does in fact state in the category of SAI results in the Red. Bottom line the service manager should have made this right regardless of the fact that the truck had to be put back on the rack or not, poor customer service. They tried to give me the normal run around and deflect the fact that they do not have properly trained operators, "It's all in the computer, it's within factory spec" they say. Shame on them for that and shame on me for taking it there.

I had a check engine code for low boost on my car and came it to see what's up. They did nothing and didn't help one bit, charged me for diagnosis and said there is no problem then refused to do a recall on my car..... Ya I'm mad. Most expensive car wash I've ever had. Thanks Vick.

The worst purchasing decision I've ever made occur...

The worst purchasing decision I've ever made occurred at Sauers. I purchased a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD in early 2020. A check engine light conveniently popped up on the truck after my two hour drive home (from Sauers). A flashing check engine light appeared at highway speeds later the same day. For the last 1.5 years, I've spent my time and hard earned money trying to fix these two issues. After various tests and parts replaced, the repair shop I'm working with still can't find the root cause. In all my research on the issue, I've come to find out that another repair shop tried to fix these exact issues on my truck a couple months before the vehicle was sold to Sauers (and then to me) and also couldn't find the issue. I purchased a defective truck at a premium price that had a serious issue (unbeknownst to me at time of purchase due to lack of check engine light). Extremely dissatisfied customer here.

Not a good experience at all buying a used car fro...

Not a good experience at all buying a used car from here recently. Don t make the mistake I made, take it to a mechanic and have it checked out. Don t rely on their 27 point inspection or whatever they call it. They replaced one strut, took it to a shop for steering problem I didn t notice on the test drive and other strut was bad, also they said they did a front end alignment, the shop said either one wasn t done or they didn t do a good job, thin tread on tires made it through their inspection (which I knew when I bought it), oil change was way over I just found out, (would think something so basic would be included in their inspection), started hearing lifter noise at start up a couple weeks after I bought it, the salesman showed me a couple strange marks on the dash and I just found out it s from the airbags being deployed. They told me it s not been in any big accidents and the salesman has like 50 years experience so I would think he would know what those spots were in the dash right around the airbags. I never thought Of that but found out it was. So that s real nice I bought a vehicle that the air bags deployed on previously and didn t know and wasn t told about. So Iv put well over $1000 in it and I have noisy lifters. I will never step foot on that lot again. The salesman assured me that their inspection was thorough. I will always share this with anyone looking for a car

I was contacted by the service center to bring my 2011 GMC Terrain in to have the high pressure fuel pump replaced due to a factory recall. I set up the appointment for November 23 2016 at 9:30am and when I arrived to have it replaced I was told they did not have any in stock and they would call me when in comes in to set up another appointment. This dealership called me to have this work done and did not have the part. What kind of business does that???!!!!! I'm still waiting!!!!!
