Everything is most excellent at the Hilton Sandest...
Everything is most excellent at the Hilton Sandestin. Great food, amazing drinks, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You really can't ask for more from a resort.

We had a great time. Beach view from our room was beautiful. Staff are extremely nice. Christian at the desk helped us out of a jam with reservations. (Mistake on my part) Adrienne in the bar was especially nice. Beds are sooo.. comfortable.
Lynn and I spent our 50th anniversary here and it is a great place to have fun and relax.
Best place I've ever stayed at my family thoroughly enjoyed it
The rooms are fantastic and perfect for large families. The room had two double beds, a sleeper sofa, and bunk beds. There are a couple of pools and plenty to do on the property.
Within 5 minutes of the outlets.
Staff is excellent and quick to help where needed. The recent updates have made a beautiful resort even better.
I was very disappointed with Hilton's customer service.
I was given a different room from what I reserved. Because of this problem, I asked for a different room, but I was ignored and given a terrible room. This trip was the worst trip ever experienced. If there were no rooms available, we should have been given an excuse of some sort, but we were ignored.
We sent an email about this problem, however we were not given a reply. We wanted an explanation, apology, etcetera. Because of this, we are very disappointed in Hilton's services.
First time staying here for a family vacation. Would give a 2.5 star if I could. Let me start off by saying, when we arrived it took a long while to check in, there was a long line and not enough staff at the front. Not the greatest first impression. For the amount of money we paid, I was expecting way better customer service. I understand that maybe there aren t enough staff due to the current pandemic, but for some reason I am still paying full price including the resort fee for everyday. Another thing was the yellow umbrellas and beach chairs that are set up for reservations RIGHT in front of the hotel. Im paying for beach front hotel but when I come down to the beach I have to walk a couple hundred feet to the side to set up. When you have small children thats an extra hassle. Customer service was slow, I was located in the spa tower and needed to do laundry. I had to walk all the way over to the emerald tower, which took me like 7 minutes one way. The laundry room had no laundry detergent for purchase, machine had everything sold out. I came all the way up to my room and called front desk to let them know and was told it would be refilled in 10 mins. Half an hour later i try again, walk all the way down there and still no laundry detergent. I go to the front desk and tell them that there is no laundry detergent, all they say is ohh were a little backed up, we will have it sent up to your room . Never got my laundry detergent. The next morning I call down to guest services again and this time the lady tells me we dont have laundry detergent . Feeling super frustrated I just did a load without any detergent. Housekeeping was slow too, super annoying that you pay so much money and cant even have your room cleaned everyday. I had a small baby that crawls and it was frustrating to not have the carpets vacuumed.Bathroom had no ac vent, it was always hot in there. Its a nice clean hotel, in a nice area, but they really need to work on their customer service. I dont think i will be staying here again, I will be trying out a diff hotel.
We always stay here when we are in or around destin. Love this place to pieces only wish we had more money, while kids eat free breakfast the adults pay thru the nose. You gotta pay to play! For real though they need to concentrate of pool maintenance they seem to clean it in the morning yet it s nasty by noon.
Great place to stay, little on the expensive side though. If you do stay here, try to book the rooms in advance, it's a little cheaper that way. The views are nice, and the beach is just a couple of steps away from the hotel. The whole area is incredible with gold courses, mini golf, and great places to shop and eat.
Excellent views and great fireworks on Saturday night!
Horrible, horrible stay. Be careful of thieves on staff. Hotel management refused to accommodate losses. Never will stay with Hilton again. They provide politically correct answers only. Horrible. Do not recommend this place.
This place is very nice! It's close enough to the beach for it not to be a hastle to visit the beach. There's also a pool, which is a huge plus!
I had a wonderful visit. My family and I'd loved our stay. I just wish they offered complementary butt scratchers and robot hands that pick my nose.
This place is completely misleading. Our room is described as beach view with a balcony. I am in the first floor right outside the pool. You have to be 7 feet tall standing on a chair to catch a glimpse of the water. Glad I spent 3k to fly here and look at a pool. Completely affirms why I only stay at Marriotts.
Solid beach-side hotel. Nice grounds. Hotel staff are extremely friendly/kind. I was there for a conference - and the conference amenities were good as well. An attempted video-feed welcome from one of our senior execs was terminally choppy. That was unfortunate. In general - things went well at the hotel. The only personal incident was a minor one... when they cleaned the room, they failed to replace the shampoo/ bodywash/ conditioner. In the sad little moment, I actually contacted the desk 3 times in 12 hours to see if they would replace the items before my final morning. They never materialized.
Overall - experience was good. The lack of follow-through on a minor item makes me wonder what other gaps may be present. Probably a great spot, particularly in the spring, summer, fall months. Pretty darn chilly in February.
San Destiny beach is a community built to accommodate families in order to vet the most out of your vacation.
We had a poolside first floor room with king bed for two nights. Although the view was limited being on the first floor, it was still nice. The extra easy access and not needing to wait for elevators was convenient. The room was clean, spacious, smelled fresh, and had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sofa (pull out bed), comfortable bed- everything you'd expect. The beach area was way more crowded than I anticipated. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Very bad, I regret the hotel in which we have been for a long time, the values for consumption too high, for the service offered,
Great resort, and affordable stay, but food is extremely overpriced for what it is. Quality of food isn't that great for what you pay.
Hello there!! We looking for come back, can you help me with that
Ah my childhood! Love revisiting the most beautiful beaches in the world!
This is a nice, quiet place to stay. The pools are beautiful with the solar lights shining on them.
This is sandestin beach near the hilton.Beautiful, quiet, there is a nice restaurant bar with a view on the ocean.Because we are members of Embarc we have complimentary chairs and umbrella. Very busy during week end. We were also here in November , the best if you want quiet times. Golf course all over Sandestin
Service was great. Location is good but not ideal for walking to locations. Shuttle is provided. Staff is knowledgeable of the area and helpful.
great experience outside and they try to keep it together inside the hotel
A little dated and could use a little more variety of restaurants and more local cuisine.
But, great location and views.
Breakfast options are not good, and my Hilton Honors status didn't get me squat outside of choosing a good room.
We rented a set of chairs on the beach for the day and service was fantastic. The boys were very helpful setting up our chairs and umbrellas and the girls were on top of the food/drink service. They were always just a short distance away when we needed them. Fantastic day
Awesome place to stay....great people ....graet view
Bueatiful and clean place to stay with lots to keep you busy.
The resort was beautiful, the service was top notch & Seagars steakhouse was great! The pools were open late and the suites were very spacious and accommodating.
Very disppointed in our stay. They rate the Hilton as four star hotel and it was a two star hotel. Never no beach towels, the waitress at the Bare Foot Bar/Grill was terrible, the public bathrooms never had soap nor paper towels and were dirty, the Wifi did not work and no one would help. Not enough staff through out the hotel and staffed seemed like it was a chore to help with anything.....and to top it off they asked how our stay was and we told them and they never did anything about it. We stay at Hiltons and are reward members and have never complained.
I attended the Alabama State Bar Association 2018 Annual Meeting. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly.
Great service, great views, great rooms, great food
Excellent facilities and staff, it is a highend Hilton expierence!
Good hotel, but they nickel and dime you for literally everything.
The place is beautiful... Right on the beach.. staff is really helpful and make sure to help you in every way possible.. clean and maintained beaches and pools..
The place is great, but the main conference building is in need of repairs. The condos are very nice and they make good use of space.
I've been wanting to go back everyday since we left. Enough said! Perfect vacation- white sand beach, beautiful pool, beautiful room, great service. The food needs some improvement on variety but can't really complain on what they already got.
Beautiful resort. Lots to do
We hardly ever needed to leave the resort for anything. The shuttle is a great amenity. We will visit again.
Wonderful place, service, food and hospitality is great
My family of 4 stopped at the Hilton Sandestin on the way to Disney World. We were greeted by Ariel who was extremely helpful. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a partial view with a balcony but once we arrived into the room, we realized it was a full view of the beach AND the amazing pool. Within a minute from the pool, we were on the beach. I love an indoor pool and there was one as well as heated outdoor pools that were awesome! The talented guitarist played on the patio. We were only there for one night but definitely plan to return again for a longer visit this year. Exceeded our expectations... Thank you.
Beautiful resort, certain amenities included that we otherwise would not have engaged in. However, phone did not work in the unit ( notified front desk twice), shower control valve did not engage fully so low flowing shower, and several cracked/broken dishes in the cupboards (again, staff notified twice).
Very close to the beach and the service is top notch. Close to restaurants and other store in case you forgot anything. Will come here again.
Great place had an amazing firework display for the 4th of july
Food at the thanksgiving buffet was nice but not worth the price.
Building is a little dated. Maintenance could be improved in the rooms. They were having issues with the fire alarms during our stay. The alarms would randomly go off several times during the day. Staff is extremely friendly. Amazing food is offered throughout the property. Be prepared to pay $$$ for everything during your stay as with any resort.
Vacation paradise!!! The views were amazing! Room was spotless and staff was very gracious and accomodating!!
Awesome place awesome location. Had some technical difficulties but it didn't ruin the vacation.
The beach is so good and also the pools are one of the best has an indoor pool and indoor hot tube if it rains
Amazing staff. Came for an event and the staff was very helpful with dietary needs. Amazing location and amazing hotel.
Been coming to this fabulous hotel for 17 years, since the week after 911. We were here for Hurricane Katrina and watched the hotel open its doors to evacuees even with their pets, and still the best service! Love this place like home away from home!
