Nice hotel but pool bathrooms are something out of a horror movie.

The food is a bit expensive... But a wonderful place to be...

Love the pool, love the beach. Great for a family getaway.

Management was rude and didn t allow me and my wife to check in. The only explanation we received from managment was we aren t accepting guest from the town we live in.

Really is this the 1920? I would think that in 2020 anyone from anywhere could check into a hotel. This is not the case for Hilton in Sandestin.

Don t stay here unless you want to be publicly embarrassed and discriminated against.

Me and my Lady enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely be back. This was the 2nd of 3 vacations this year. It was a last minute booking (5 min before we left the house). We had actually booked at another place that stated they had a room with a view on the website. So we booked it and then called to find out it was a rundown hole with no view. The guy said "If you want a view youll have to walk across the road" So we cancelled even though there was a fee that we fought and got back a few days later. We ended up in "Paradise" San Destin. And Loved Every Minute Of It

The location was very nice and everyone was very friendly

I didn't think it was as good as it was made out to be. Also the free shuttle to the outlet was very limiting during the day.

Excellent location, close to food, shopping, and entertainment

King beach front Jr suite on the 10th floor provided great sunset views of both the Gulf of Mexico and the bay. Plenty of room to spread out. Dual vanities, king bed, sofa bed, and 2 bunk beds. Bunks are semi hidden from the main area and have their own tv station. Free water in the room, but that is the only bargin. Be ready to forget being budget minded.

Beds on Bayside was horrible. No employees to be found.
Needs updated! Even Cafe closed early

Long review but if you are considering staying read this.*******************************
Certain staff and restaurants were either not happy there or bad training.
To begin with staff: by the beach we brought our own chairs asked for only an umbrella the guy literally said ahh ideally that not what we want to do it s not convenient. I thought to myself I m sorry I didn t ask you if it was convenient I asked we just need an umbrella. so we had to ask another guy I we could get an umbrella and within 2 mins we had an umbrella we asked for. That s no problem we can deal with that.
2nd restaurants we went to the sushi place everything seemed ok until we got dessert. I forgot the name of it but it was ice cream with grilled peaches on the menu it stated bourbon ice cream we get vanilla. I ask the waiter about the ice cream. The response is I m sorry that s all we had why not give us a heads up?
3rd: the inside of the hotel it gives off a humid smell. Also not very clean either certain things on the counters were sticky, the door for our beach view was not clean so it was very difficult to slide open. The toilets would work every now and then and the sink was clogged up when I tried to wash my hands in the first time I came in. The lamps switch mechanism was weird you had to turn it slow otherwise it would turn off the lamp. If i got a manager on the phone I d gladly explain everything in detail. (Room 211 if they want to inspect it.)
Also I get it with covid all hotels don t have housekeeping coming up to the rooms everyday but geez have them clean the hallway. I can say that with certainty because I carried my chair to the room some sand stuck on the bottom fell on the hallway I pick up most of what I could and I was there still two more days and the sand mark was still there. Absolutely surprised by how they over look stuff. the entrance to the elevator by the pool had caulk that was falling off and just hanging there. Looked very tacky. For the amount of money I paid for 3 days that is uncalled for and a total waste of resources they have there. I was lucky I spent most of my day at the beach and not inside the hotel. I just give as detailed as I can because this is something that I would not want someone else to experience again. Please revamp your whole experience there. I get it it isn t 5 stars either but come on I ve stayed in places that charge less before where the place was clean and staff was way better and customer service was optimal. Otherwise the beach was beautiful water and weather were incredible. They allow you to bring a cooler to the beach which is the best part really and in all honesty I d recommend to do that drinks for a margarita were like $20 not including tip. I certainly don t go on vacation worry about money but the alcohol they place on there was so small I laughed at it. I just wish they actually put customers first.

Everything was nice. Everyone was friendly. The room was clean, well everything was clean. Which I think is an accomplishment being that everyone is coming in from the beach and covered in sand. When I come back to Destin, I am definitely staying here again.

The facilities are better than most in the area. Staff are hospitality pros!

TERRIBLE ~I PAID for a partial view and instead of the BEACH VIEW ...We got the parking lot..... This property is low class including the EMPLOYEES worst customer service EVER....So glad the AGS is moving to New Orleans next year...

The hotel was nice. The staff were friendly and ready to accommodate. Our door lock was broken, and maintenance came at 10pm to fix it. That was just a bit late! Many of the amenities that you would expect to be included, with paying so much for a room, had an extra cost to them.

Updated review based on the responsiveness of the General Manager regarding a pre-arrival issue we encountered. I fully believe in giving people the opportunity to improve and thus far, the Hilton Sandestin has stepped up to the plate to provide customer-centric service. Looking forward to our upcoming stay, after which I'll update helpful details about our experience.

Absolutely stunning resort. Our ocean view was incredible. The room was very large and housekeeping did an amazing job. The pillow on the bed were amazing. So comfortable. They offer beach service for a daily rate, restaurants, bar, fantastic sushi, two outdoor pools and one indoor pool, beautiful spa. They also have two hot tubs, one inside and one outside.You truly feel like you are on vacation at this beautiful resort. Very short drive over to Destin where the night atmosphere is incredible.

My family and I Loved this place! Always fun to stay at this hotel!Easy access to the beach! The pool is great, and has a great view! Unfortunately the jacuzzi is too small for this place! We loved out junior suite! The view was excellent!

We stayed in a suite with a balcony beach view. It was a free upgrade so we were thrilled! In late August, the weather was quite hot and humid so we didn't spend as much time on the balcony as I wanted but it was still lovely in the evenings. There was a lot of options (expensive) to eat within the resort as well as a free tram that can bring you to other parts of town with more options. I highly recommend taking the (free) tram to explore the neighboring village.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff is awesome too. The only real issue was the lack of understanding when it came to the room service attendant on the phone not understanding what I was saying both days I ordered.
If you can manage get a corner suite with a wrap around balcony. It is amazing! We will miss you Hilton Sandestin Beach!

The beach is simply amazing! Everyone was so helpful and the rooms are very clean. I was also pleasantly surprised with how kid friendly this resort was.

Great location. Excellent food and good service. Lots to do in the area - we visited a local festival and the resort had a shuttle available to make it easy. Our room was very nice and clean. Lots of room and we could actually see the beach from our balcony. I would go back again!

Best place for families!! Kids love it, especially the heated pools at Spring Break!! Private beaches and a bar in the beach doesn t hurt, either!!

We've stayed here on four occasions and enjoy every visit even more than the last! The family suites are great if you vacation with kids.

Great place on the emerald coast. Beaches are beautiful, facility is super clean and updated throughout. Pricey drinks and food, but hey its Hilton.

Great place to stay for a weekend (or longer) getaway!

Decent property but they are the worst at customer service and check ins. You will spend 30 mins to an hour waiting in line to check in. There is no diamond only line. It is first come first serve. Pathetic for a hilton property!

Go. Don't think twice, just book it and go! Great service and atmosphere. Beach and bars are ideal

We loved the atmosphere and found everyone to be so warm and friendly. Also loved that the beachside grill and other restaurants at the resort had vegan and gluten free options! Will be back for sure!

The location was beautiful, the ocean side view from the room was a incredible. The whole place was dazzling inside and out. I will definitely keep them in mind for another visit.

Dog hallowing and barking in the next room at 530 am. Called front desk and they said they would look into it. Dog was barking all morning still. Will be contacting corporate when I get home.

Beautiful Resort. Probably one of the best in the world. Please don't tell anyone as there are so many people here year round.

Fantastic staff and an overall great facility.We especially liked the on premise choices for food and beverages.

Facilities were nice. Security was good. Room was as described and true to pictures. It was much more crowded than expected. Rental Beach chairs were stacked three rows back and were at a higher rate if you did not book direct through Sandestin. There is not a kiddie pool area. All in all it was ok.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing views of the water over a sparkling white sand beach. The perfect vacation picture. The rooms are very nice and up to date. My room even has an almost suite-like feel with an extra nook with bunk bed and tv for kiddos. I'm traveling alone and for business, so the dank roof-top balcony view with peek-a-boo sights of the shore are not too disappointing. If I were here for pleasure I'd request a different room. Just fine for work though. The lobby is spacious and friendly. The conference rooms are clean and well equipped. I'd be happy to come back for another "business meeting" someday!

Very disappointed being stuck in the overinflated resort distant from the beach. Should be named snootyville. Unhappy staff(must be low compensation corporate greed disease), shower water smelled like a sewer pipe. Over priced closed in room distanced far from the beach.

I have stayed at many Hilton's , we are gold honours members . I have never seen such terrible customer service like I witnessed in my stay . The morning shift of the front service is just awful . The attitude is just awful. When you call to ask for something they hang up on you. Specifically one girl who just plan out rude . I would not reccomend that hotel to anyone .

Had a spa day there and it was fabulous. Great prenatal massage by Stacie. Wonderful pedicure. The attendants were great, and nice place to relax for a hours

Our family has stayed at this location every summer for the past 5 years, and keep coming back. Grand resort enterence, super-easy beach access, clean pools / sand, and overall friendly staff set this hotel above the rest. The super fine white beach sand is unmatched. The only downside includes an aging hotel that's due for modernization, morning buffet can be overcrowded at the end of the window (causing slow table turnover/slow service) and aged hotel electronics/TVs (see original point, hotel needs makeover). Overall a well worth stay.

Great place for vacation, beach & pool excellent but crowd

Terrible! I was there last spring, didn't wash bedding, and still smelled like the last visitors! Looks pretty on the outside and on pictures. Rooms are dank and musty!!! Will never go back! Ratched!!!!

Room was not very clean when I checked in is my only complaint. At over $200/night, you'd think room would be clean and vacuumed. On another note hotel is right on the beach. Wish the chairs and umbrellas were complimentary to guests but they cost extra. Friendly staff, every one greets you as they walk by.

This place was awesone, and the staff where so helpful and friendly. I'd definitely go there again.

Bed and view is amazing. Takes forever for hot water to come on.. Hallways are dark and cold. Parking fees are sucky

Beautiful hotel. Great service, great food and awesome beaches. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Courteous staff, famous for the breakfast buffet but only 1 grill chef so go very early if you want your omelete to order. Posh restaurant inside the hotel but make a reservation if you don't want to wait 30 minutes. Beach is right outside the door but the hotel's beach chairs and umbrellas are an extra charge. Suites are thoughtfully, beautifully designed for guests' convenience and comfort; staff use guests' elevators so the wait time to/from your floor depends on time of day and staff activity. Beds VERY comfy for those with achy backs. Huge discount mall 5 minutes away for shopaholics

Rooms are great, location is great, and the staff is very friendly

great resort hotel to stay at the beds were comfortable the air conditioning was superb and the rooms were clean and quiet. Only complaints were the toilet seat squeaking while being raised and lowered could waken anyone while sleeping. The shower diverter also kept falling out pretty heavy could hurt someone toe while showering

The Sandestin Hilton is a nice place to stay on Miramar Beach in Florida. They have nice rooms and had great service the whole time I was there. It s easy to get to the beach from the hotel and they have two nice pools, one outdoor and one inside, and they stay open late if your a night owl. They also have nice food at the hotel if you don t want to leave to get a bite.
