Terrible customer service. Reservation was made wrong and manager was not at all helpfu to accommodate our needsl. Special requests were ignored. Manager was rude, condescending, mean and never offer an apology. We had to call to have our rooms clean. To be fair most of the personnel was friendly. Overall very disappointed for such an expected family vacation and planned in advanced. Will not be staying there again.

Came with part of a TV crew filming at a nearby college, and security was very helpful and friendly with letting us park our big truck in the parking lot.
Sadly though other than the great beach and the nice pools there isn't much to do there..
Nice hotel, expensive room and ridiculous to have to pay extra to use a gym. If we were not there for professional reasons, I can't see us booking a room otherwise. The pools were solid, rooms were quiet and it had a nice view. We did not enjoy having to park in the back 40 and walk uphill though.
The check in experience was horrible...I sat in the lobby for 3 hours while my children screamed. Once the check in issue was resolved, I got a nasty room. The bathtub was filthy. The view was horrid. The view & sounds of construction is all I could see or hear! You go to the beach to relax & hear waves but NOT HERE.....oh i tried to change rooms & unavailable ! The worst experience of my life! I do not recommend. This is the nastiest & rudest I ve ever been treated at a Hilton ...we will never step foot back in this so called resort again!!
Stayed here over Labor Day weekend Sept. 4th through the 8th. We had our 4 children with us. Perfect size room with the Junior suite and the cute bunkbeds!!!. Service was absolutely great in every department. A big shout out to "Jay" our bellman who took us to our room and made us feel comfortable and my children saw him multiple times on site during the weekend and he was like an old friend lol! Room service and housekeeping were on the ball with everything we asked for. I'm honestly a tough critic and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I will recommend this destination to all my friends and family. And I hope to return soon!!!!
Shay was so amazing, kind , & extremely helpful in getting us checked in for our stay. This has been an amazing stay & we will highly recommend to our friends & love ones. Thank you Shay!
LIVE REVIEW: If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. We have been waiting an hour and a half for sushi for ONLY 5 rolls. The whole hotel is a maze and it takes FOREVER to find the beach. The hotel is so pushed back on the beach and the room is so tiny. TWO BEDROOMS?!?!!? MORE LIKE 1 LONG BEDROOM WITH NO PRIVACY!! You dont even get complimentary breakfast even though you pay an arm and a leg to stay here. The whole entire staff is unknowledgable and always seems confused. My phone is going to die before I'm done typing this review, hell I'm going to die before I'm done typing this review. Psh IM OUT. ps...im still waiting for the sushi going on two hours.
To describe this place would be to describe hell. As soon as we drive into the property, we are greeted with disrespect and attitude from the main gate security. As we drive closer into the Hilton hotel, we are met with another young man More
Nice resort, good food options, great views & right on the beach. Close to shopping & lots of restaurants nearby. 2 outdoor pools & hot tubs & an indoor pool / hot tub. Very nice staff, comfy beds, clean rooms. The Jr suite offers cute bunk beds along w 2 queens, a sitting area, table, 2 sinks & mini fridge/ microwave so you've got plenty of room for an entire family to stay in one room.
Clean rooms, bland and uninspired food prepared by teenagers, and EXTREMELY OVER CROWDED. The beach is packed full of rental chairs that literally leave you elbow to elbow with everyone staying at the "resort". To literally just walk to the ocean you have to squeeze between people sitting in rental chairs, which needless to say is a bit of a challenge with small children running back and forth from the chairs to the water.
Great hotel near Destin! We stayed in the Serenity Spa Tower. Our initial room was on the 2nd floor but the view wasn't that great. So, weoved up to the 4th floor with partial beach view and it was better. We will try to get in the Hilton tower next time. Great location! Staff was very friendly. The room was nice. Comfortable bed. Our room had two beds and a pull out couch. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting this area as a family or couple.
The property is beautiful we stayed on the 7th floor beach view I m giving a 3 star review due to the fact that the front desk staff was rude not welcoming had a horrible attitude the beds, sheets, pillows had a bad smell.
Front Desk, housekeeping, bellhop and restaurant staff absolutely amazing. Regardless of the time of day, they are helpful, cheerful, enthusiastic and quick to assist. You truly do feel like you are on a pampered vacation.
Thanks Hilton Sandestin!! We booked our family of four for the Fourth of July weekend and we had a great time of course there is tons of people but what do u expect on a holiday weekend. STAFF was great from Ron & Vicki at front desk, Dee Dee at Sandcastle, and Michael our housekeeping man....manager (Chris?)did a great job keeping it running as smooth as possible. Loved it so much we already book for Labor day weekend!! Thanks a bunch for giving us great family memories!!! Arian & Claudia Aldana.
The massive size of the resort is 1.) Amazingly thorough providing all the amenities and attractions you would want for a family or even singles but 2.) The size of the resort made us expect something more from our room. We expected more than just 2 beds. We stayed in the pilot house and the parking as well as room was compact. There wasn't even a couch or chair. Overall it was a good experience but the money doesn't fit in the room.
Nice hotel, love the junior suite with the two bunk beds. Got to pick my room prior to check in and was able to get a great view. Beach is awesome water is clear and sand is soft. Recommend bringing your own chairs and umbrellas and setting the up early
Wonderful hotel with a very luxury feel to it. Nothing was out of place and nothing was dirty. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always smiling and getting me as I walked by. Definitely would recommend staying here.
I wanted to give this more stars, but truthfully, it just wasn't that great. All of the dining places closed SO early. I'm generally someone who eats dinner around 8pm and nothing seemed to be open even past 7pm. The bar even closed early. The pool was filthy. I expected sand, and there was definitely a lot, but there was also tons and tons of hair and leaves floating around. I couldn't go anywhere in the pool without having someone else's hair on me. I gave two stars because the staff was amazing. Almost everyone was so kind and accommodating. Additionally, the room was great. I had a wonderful view and it was a very large room. The beach chairs were really uncomfortable, especially for what you had to pay for them. They did have a great view of the beach though. All and all, I just wasn't as impressed as I expected to be because of how much I paid for the room. Cleanliness seemed to be a big issue here.
When I called to reserve two rooms for myself and another hockey mom, I was told I could hold the rooms and then we could pay separately when we arrived. Rooms went up from a matter of minutes from 295 to 303, no big deal, We arrived after check in time but still had to wait on a room for our short 1 night stay. We arrived around 4pm, We left at 7am the next morning. I checked my receipt as I checked out and our 303.00 room had turned to 364.14 due to taxes and a resort fee that I wasn t aware of. I'm sure it was somewhere in the fine print. I was surprised but can only blame myself for not reading. When I received my credit card bill, I was charged twice. Different from what my receipt showed. I thought It would be no big deal to adjust, but was told they had charged the other moms room to my bill even though my receipt didn t show that. I didn t receive rewards points for two rooms, I wasn t charged a 27.75 resort charge for her room. I guess she didn t have a resort charge for her room, just me? My 295.00 a night room I originally seen online was now a 700.53 charge on my cc for one evening. When I called for help Justin in accounting basically told me I was on my own to find the other mom question her ask her to check her statement if she had a charge, have her call in and then they would adjust my fee, I watched her give her cc when we arrived, I checked my receipt when I checked out. I feel as though I shouldn t have to do the leg work for a mistake that was not mine. I Feel scammed. If my receipt would have shown the actual amount I was being charged when I left, I would have made sure this was corrected. Now I am in an awkward position to track someone and attempt to get them to call and pay. The beach was nice, but watch out. Even if your receipt says one thing, check your credit card. Extremely disappointed in the customer service.
I. Am not staying here but had lunch at the little beach Cafe and they were so welcoming and the food was some of the best food we have had so far. Will look at staying here next time.
It is a great place, they have nice amenities, it is clean, big room we stay at the village and we had laundry room inside, a big living room and kitchen and a great balcony. I love the place. Only bad thing was we didn't knew about the extra charge fee.... For the amenities.. Like have the "free" kayak and bicycle rental, that fee charge is not optional. But besides that the hotel is really nice place. Bad thing was the parking space.. It is really crowded. And if you are late night you will have troubles finding space and will have a bad time if there is an event. The parking space will be almost none.
Never had been to this party of Florida. This property is just simply amazing. The cleanest property I've seen in nearly a year. Beaches were pristine in the front of this property
Stayed here one night. Facility is dated. Views are amazing. Beach was gorgeous. Crystal clear water, perfectly clean beaches. Tons of shopping and food on the main strip.
It's a wonderful experience as it always has been but even in these uncertain times the safety measures they have taken definitely help put your mind at ease everyone wears a mask inside the rooms are cleaned and then sealed until you were the one to open it and to this property alone they are just one of the best out there
This is one of Hilton's finest resorts!! Loved it. It has the best 4th Fireworks display on the entire Emerald Coast. I was sitting right on the beach where you could see for miles all the way East to Grayton Beach and west to Destin. The Hilton made us feel like we were in Disneyland. They were shooting from the top of all the hotel roofs on the ground as well as in between. You just had to be there to experience an unbelievable show!! I know this because I travel to see shows of fireworks. The resort treats you like your king and queen of this resort. Come and enjoy a small town very few have found out about. Grab your golf clubs to visit the clear blue water and really white sandy beaches not a tourist trap and enjoy fun and leisure.
