Our furnace began it's slow death during a recent cold snap. We had hoped to get through the winter, but the furnace had lived a long happy life and was now ready to be retired. We called several vendors, including Sanders & Johnson. Jim came out and gave us an estimate and explained several options. His visit explained a great deal that other companies failed to discuss with us. Jim's thoroughness, as well as the pricing and value of the system S&J presented convinced us to use S&J for our installation. Their furnace was not only more efficient than competitors, but also less expensive than other solutions.

We couldn't be happier with the new furnace and the work performed. The team was professional, and did a great job. S&J have earned a valued faithful customer.

I recently had my furnace break down, of course when it was 15 degrees. These guys came out immediately and fixed the problem. It was a simple fix, but they were honest and fairly priced and were quick to respond. If I ever have another issue, I will be calling them and would recommend them to anyone

I have been using Sanders and Johnson for about 4 years, now. I have never been disappointed. They are prompt, work with you on scheduling; and do a thorough and fantastic job.

This latest call involved a tankless hot water heater that just would not work. Wesley, the S&J tech who worked on it, was great. The cause of the problem was not what the machine diagnostics indicated, and Wes got to the bottom of the problem and got things working again. Super pleasant, and glad to explain what was going on.

We first used Sanders & Johnson back in 2010 for a new furnace install and it has worked great. Fast forward to 2019, Central Air stops working on hot August 95 degree day. I call them next morning at 8am and they still have me on file, can come out between 11 and 1pm - they arrive early and fix the A/C unit in plenty of time. Erik explained what was wrong, had the replacement part and had the house cool in no time! Great work and great price! Highly recommend them for heating and cooling needs!

I needed a part replaced on my furnace. The technician arrived within the time window I was given. In addition to replacing the part, he spent time checking out the furnace to make sure it was working ok. He was friendly and professional. Excellent service. I am satisfied, and would recommend Sanders and Johnson.

Mike went out of his way to come to the house and assess our situation the same day I called. I had called half a dozen different contractors who wouldn t even be able to come out for a quote for a week. He worked very fast to get in touch with vendors to see if we could get a replacement tankless Rinnai water heater. He was very knowledgeable and straight forward with me. He was on time and provided me with an honest quote. In the end I decided to go the diy route (my wife just gave birth to our first child so money was tight). If I had chosen a contractor to do the work I would have without a doubt chosen to have Mike and his team do the work.

I found myself without heat last week, just as the first very cold days of the season hit. Sanders and Johnson were able to come the next day to take a look and figure out what repairs/service was necessary. The two technicians called before arriving, and were able to get to the house earlier than predicted. They checked the furnace and the thermostat and determined that while the furnace is old and inefficient, it was actually the thermostat that was malfunctioning. They had a suitable replacement and installed it quickly. They set the date, time, and showed me how to manage the programmable aspects. They also suggested (but did not push) that they have the office contact me the next day to set up a time for someone to come out and give me options and estimates for replacing my old furnace.

My experience was very positive. I would definitely use this company again!

We have been using Sanders and Johnson for over twenty years and have been very happy with their service. Erik Perry did a great job with our latest yearly checkup of our furnace system. He was very thorough and took the time to explain what he was doing and what options we had for taking care of our system.

I called on a Saturday morning, the on call person, Erik, thoroughly explained the difference in charges before he came out. Once he arrived, he thoroughly explained everything he was doing, and how/why the parts were in the condition they were in. I found the whole experience fascinating and fantastic!!

Wonderful professional and honest!!!!!!! Definitely contract then for you regular maintenance or anything needing repair!!!!!

We have used Sanders & Johnson for 17 years and never been disappointed. They have installed a furnace, hot water heater and air conditioning unit, and done the regular maintenance on those items. They have been very responsive, usually same day, including weekends and been able to rectify the issue on the first visit. Just recently our hot water heater ruptured, after 16 years, and they were able to get the new one ordered and installed within two working days. They are always on time, courteous, clean up the work site nicely and explain what they've done and make recommendations as to how to use the HVAC more efficiently. I don't feel as though we've ever been pressured, they generally come in with reasonable bids on top of the line products - Amana, etc. We've never had to call them back to "redo" something, the job has always been done right the first time.

Mike is the Man, wearing managerial hats for service, installation, & sales.

Mike arrived at my home less than 24 hours later.

I was under the impression that my very old swamp cooler needed to be replaced for reasons of bio-health (pervasive corrosion).
While confirming the very real potential for compromising my family s health, he suggested a much less expensive solution...
Turns out, the four panels on each side of the unit can be replaced at a far lower cost than replacing an entire unit.

In a nutshell, Mike delivered Expertise & Integrity, on a timely basis.

I have used Sanders and Johnson to service my heaters for many years and have found the service representatives to have been extremely polite and very knowledgeable. They have taken the time to thoroughly analyze and resolve any problems found. And best of all, the service reps have patiently explained to me the solutions necessary for any repairs required.

After evaluating my dead home heater S&J was able to get the system running with a simple fix. I was very impressed that they gave me honest advice that I did not need a costly repair at this time. The technician (Michael I think) was also very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. I appreciated the technician's honesty and I will certainly call them next time my unit has problems.

We have known Jim Sanders for almost 30yrs. We have used his company on three different properties for heating and air conditioning. Their installations are exceptional and they are always there when they say they will be. Don

rude receptionist, no call back after three calls to the receptionist. And was hung up on.
Was told thank you when i called back the forth time to cancel my service call. incredible. worst of all my house is less then 5 minutes from their shop and they say they are neighborly.

They do great work on repairs and maintenance. Have used their services for over 10 years. They always explain what needs repaired and they have kept our furnace and ac in good running order. Technicians are always friendly and conscientious.

Sanders and Johnson recently installed a new Burnham boiler at my residence. The workers arrived at 9 am and left at 5 pm, and hardly even took a break. After the installation was complete, they carefully explained how the boiler works and all they did for the installation. I am very happy with their work and with the new boiler. I would recommend Sanders and Johnson to anyone looking for excellent heating service and products, fair pricing and willingness to work with the homeowner. When the Denver plumbing inspector came to review the job, he commented, "very nice installation job!" What more could anyone want?

Sanders and Johnson are the real deal. None of those ridiculous binders with inflated prices, just honest work at a great price. Worked with both Jesse and Nick and we couldn't be happier. And their office staff is great as well.

Have used S&J for many years. They show up on time and have skilled technicians who are familiar with the system being worked on.

S&J recently replaced our furnace and hot water heater while upgrading the system with a new air conditioner and hiding the duct work in our basement ceiling. In this 100+ year old house this was no easy task. A cold air return needed to be run from the second floor to make the system function well. They were incredibly knowledgeable and hardworking to get the job done as quick as possible. With such a large investment we had many questions and requests. They worked hard to educate us and fulfil our goals for the project. I would recommend S&J Heating and Cooling for any size job from simple replacements to major remodel.

Annual furnace check-up/maintenance - The appointment went fine, Chris was on time and professional. Did the basic work/cleaning needed, and was able to help me understand the new-style thermostat better. Got the work done and all my questions answered - excellent!

Great service on my furnace again from Sanders and Johnson. The technician was prompt, knowledgeable and courteous.

I was really happy with the work Sanders & Johnson did on our boiler, and I m really excited that we finally found an hvac contractor in Colorado that we can trust. I have hired a lot of other contractors that would brush off my questions, withhold any explanation of what they were doing, or would only answer my questions directly to my male partner, presumably assuming I couldn t understand the response anyway. Nick was extremely helpful in explaining how the system is designed to function and what was wrong. He was really knowledgeable and very quickly identified the problem, checked with me before he did any work, and got the unit back up and running properly in a short amount of time - after two other companies could not solve the problem after several hours. We look forward to working with S&J again!

My girlfriend recommended Sanders and Johnson because they did some work on her house 15 years ago, and she thought they did a good job then. I had Jim Sanders come out to do an estimate on a hot water heater replacement since my old one died, and was interested in a quote for both a conventional and tankless system. Jim arrived on time as scheduled. He did a quick survey of the project and came up with estimates on the spot. He could have tried to upsell me to the tank less system but said that it would not be appropriate for our household.

I had two other companies come out to do estimates. In the end, I chose Sanders and Johnson because they had the lowest price and didn't try to sell me extra warranties or more expensive water heaters.

They arrived on time as scheduled. They did run into two problems. Minor one was that the valve on the hot water tank intake line was shot, so they replaced that. But during the installation of the water heater they found that the main water shutoff valve for the whole house was also shot. They had to run out and buy a replacement, and they did charge me for the additional service, but I was ok with that since it could have potentially caused a major flooding problem down the line. The crew spent an extra three hours on the project but left everything clean and explained all I needed to know about the new heater.

So all in all, I would definitely recommend Sanders and Johnson for your services. I found them honest, prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced.

In-n-out pros. The furnace at our rental home died during a bitterly cold day. S&J came out immediately to help. A few hours later we had a warm house, a new furnace and a very happy tenant. These guys define great service.

Nick Moden, service technician, was promp and professional. He helped diagnose our furnace issue and helped us make decisions for solution to the problem. We are loyal customers of Sanders and Johnson for over 20 years; for good reason.

S & J has been servicing our 2 furnaces,1 AC unit and a humidifier for over 20 years. Realizing, we were on borrowed time with these units, we had Dan come out and do an analysis and pricing of what new systems would cost. He gave us 3 options and spent a good deal of time explaining each one. We made our decision and we were able to schedule the installation for the following week. Brad and Ryan came out and did a fantastic job of removing all the old equipment and installing the new. The entire job took a day and a half (another outstanding tech came with them on the second day). They put down tarps from the entry to the furnace room so that the floors never got dirty. When they were finished all systems were tested and we received a tutorial and were given all the manuals for the products. Then they thoroughly cleaned up their work space. We highly recommend Sanders and Johnson!

My disabled daughter's furnace went out last week during the first cold spell. We had a man named Mike come who quickly stated our problem was the thermostat which I had recently replaced after the heat stopped working. He switched some wires around which I could have gotten wrong. He then gave me a long sales talk about how her furnace needs to be replaced. I was charged for extra time b/c of the sales pitch. I was charged $184.00 for switching some wires in a thermostat which was already installed. The furnace stopped working 5 minutes after he was out the door. Of course, he would not come back! I will not be using them again. Watch out if you are elderly or disabled! They will get all the money they can from you without doing much!

I did not break my thermostat. I had the wires crossed. That is all. I was charged $184.00 to straighten out the wires in a brand new thermostat that I purchased before anyone came. Anyone think that is excessive? It is for me! These people are not honest. Lying even regarding my review. Do not trust them! They are out to take your money without doing much of anything!

Mike Conrad, Service Manager, and his team were very knowledgeable and kind to us during our recent project to replace and upgrade our entire HVAC system at our home. Mike's and James' follow-up was, and continues, to be superb. Mike had a knack for explaining complex HVAC issues in clear and understandable terms, and never talked down to us. He didn't over-sell us, but explained options very well, and built a lot of trust with us. We've used Sanders and Johnson for 22 years, and we will continue to do so.

Service tech was great as always. Jesse Rincon was nice and so professional! Have had this air-conditioner for about 20 years.

The technician was very friendly and professional and worked worked hard checking that my furnace was functioning properly.

We recently used Sanders & Johnson to replace a water heater and install a recirculation pump to help with hot water availability to our master bath. The installers arrived on time and were diligent about completing the installation in a timely manner. Everything worked well and the problem was solved. I had a brand new A/C unit installed at my home and I must say I found the entire team at Sanders and Johnson exceptional. The install crew were phenomenal, very professional. I have used them for A/C repair twice before this and they have always shown up on time, discussed all options with me up front and did outstanding work without breaking the bank, very reasonable. Highly recommend and I will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs.

We had a furnace put in by S & J in April of '17, and now a hot water heater this week. Nick was courteous, professional, and personable.. The install was clean and fast - everything was terrific. Highly recommended - this is the only company we use for work of this type.

Joshua came and was earlier then what they told me which was GREAT because most people are late or don t show up at all and when you are dealing with no AC the earlier the better! He got straight to work and had it fixed within 25 minutes. He was very kind and helpful and I will use them from here on out!

I've been with Sanders and Johnson since 1980's. They're the best! They have replaced and serviced my boilers and hot water heaters for decades. My house was built in 1924! They are experts, always do a good and thorough job. Their service men are intelligent, interested in my concerns, and always educate me on what I'm dealing with. I feel they are honest and their prices/fees are fair and comparable. Let's just say "you get what you pay for"! A good company with a good reputation.

We were experiencing issues with our furnace not igniting and concerned because of the upcoming cold nights ahead, we called a lot of other companies and were able to get Sanders and Johnson to confirm they'd work on getting a tech out today. HVAC tech Nick came out within a few hours and got our furnace up and running. ..very friendly and knowledgeable, will use them again.

Sanders & Johnson installed my furnace & AC over 15 years ago. I have had them regularly service it twice a year ever since. I am so pleased with them. I have only had to call for additional service twice & both times they came right away. I usually have Jessie who is a very knowledgable & personable man. I look forward to catching up with him twice a year. After all this time I figure I will need something new one of these days & I will not even think about going to anyone else. The AC system that S&J installed last year was damaged when a solar system was installed on our roof. They repaired the damage for NO additional cost and cleaned up the attic as well. The technicians were excellent and did a great job. I d highly recommend this company to others.

Technician Chris was prompt, very pleasant and professional, and explained what he was going to do as part of the service.
