We recently decided to replace a 53 year old boiler. These are extremely expensive systems, so we received three estimates, including one for a similar model (80%+ efficient), one for a choice of comparable model or a 92% efficient system, and one for a 94-95% efficient (Weil McLain) model we saw at the Colorado home show. We really liked the high efficiency modudulating/condensing system proposals, but the price was EXTREMELY high and the mechanical company quoted a 3-day installation.

A friend/relative suggested we call Sanders and Johnson. Dan came out and gave us an estimate on a 95%+ efficient modulating/condensing system with an indirect water heater option (requested by us) that was over $4,000 lower than the 94% Weil McLain system with similar specs AND they promised a 1-day installation.

After reviewing the 4 bids and equipment options, we decided to go with Sanders and Johnson. The project was scheduled within 7-days of signing the proposal. The entire project was completed in ONE DAY, as promised. There was a return visit to re-check calibration and demonstrate the features and operation. There was also a return visit to fix a very slight drip in one of the plumbing connections. All work was scheduled and confirmed by their dispatcher with specific time windows. All technicians showed up on-time (or early with permission). The system is working GREAT, especially the indirect hot water heater (always hot, seemingly endless supply). There is no doubt in my mind that we will be saving on heating and hot water bills in the future. We made the right selection.

I highly recommend Sanders and Johnson for residential boiler replacement. The equipment, workmanship and professionalism of their operation is first-rate! We have had enough cold weather to prove the system. We are happy!
