My girlfriend recommended Sanders and Johnson because they did some work on her house 15 years ago, and she thought they did a good job then. I had Jim Sanders come out to do an estimate on a hot water heater replacement since my old one died, and was interested in a quote for both a conventional and tankless system. Jim arrived on time as scheduled. He did a quick survey of the project and came up with estimates on the spot. He could have tried to upsell me to the tank less system but said that it would not be appropriate for our household.

I had two other companies come out to do estimates. In the end, I chose Sanders and Johnson because they had the lowest price and didn't try to sell me extra warranties or more expensive water heaters.

They arrived on time as scheduled. They did run into two problems. Minor one was that the valve on the hot water tank intake line was shot, so they replaced that. But during the installation of the water heater they found that the main water shutoff valve for the whole house was also shot. They had to run out and buy a replacement, and they did charge me for the additional service, but I was ok with that since it could have potentially caused a major flooding problem down the line. The crew spent an extra three hours on the project but left everything clean and explained all I needed to know about the new heater.

So all in all, I would definitely recommend Sanders and Johnson for your services. I found them honest, prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced.
