This park is really good. A bit pricee but in the end I stayed there all day with my family. Highly recommended this place of you like to relax. On the other hand, it was a dodgy for children under 1.1m to go into the the wave pool. So KEEP OUT of your under height.

We travelled to Blackpool just to go to Sandcastle Water park and it was a fantastic experience with our 7 years old son. Lots of slides, great facilities, friendly staff and we were particularly amazed with one of the guys helping people into the Master Blaster slide. His name is Hatham and I was particularly nervous about my son and telling him how to hold on tight onto the ring and Hatham went eye level with him and in a super kind friendly way told him why it was important that he listened to my advice in a effortless way. Also Jamie first Aider helped me with an accident I had coming out of Aztecs Slide and hurting my leg quite badly (my fault). If I could remember the name of everyone I would write their names... There was not one thing I could fault. On top of that the menu for people with Coeliac disease was great and delicious. Thank you for the great memories

Very nice place . Shame you have to book the jacuzzi. There are lots of water slides for kids and you can also have a food and drink inside . There is also shop inside to buy all you need for swimming. Outside area the got a.bar and also serving meals . Next to it there is a casino, karting place , pier and cross the road Velvet restaurant. Lots of attractions around.

Excellent facilities and really enjoyable. We have a fab time every time we go. My 10 yr old girl loves the hyperzone slides, and my 6 yr old boy loves the lazy river and smaller slides. Last time, however, it was ridiculously busy, with queues over 40 minutes long for each hyperzone slide. And the pool was severely overcrowded. This way on the half term holidays after it had just reopened after refurbishment, so I would suggest that you don't go at that time. Every other time it has been wonderful. Most of the staff are lovely, although a few are really miserable lol

As a local, I love the local discount card. A local attraction that rewards loyal locals is a great idea! Makes this a fabulous, affordable family day out. Just lost a star as the food us expensive and not great for what you pay but we prefer to stay for 3-4 hours then eat elsewhere. Love the slides, love the waves, my daughter especially loved the lazy River! Looking forward to the new season 2020 xxx

A very good waterpark but the management need to employ some sort of maximum visitor numbers. Both pools were really busy by around 12pm to the point you were being bumped into very often. Queues for slides were around 40 minutes, getting More

Great place. Had a mega time here, a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 children (8, 10, 12). Something for everyone, wave pool and lazy river to thrilling ring rides and mat rides in the Aztec zone. A lot more inside than I thought. We spent almost 6hrs playing and swimming. Hyperzone wristbands were a bit of a rip off, paid extra for them to go on the bigger slides but saw lots of people going on the rides without the wristbands. Food good, although took a while to be ready. A bit disgusted by the family changing their baby's nappy on a dining table in the seating area where people were eating. And they weren't even eating there . Still a bit expensive to go, but on the whole a really great day.

Worst waterpark I ever went to overpriced and over crowded, dirty water, changing rooms smell, wave machine non existant, will stick to Alton Towers Waterpark from now on.

Best for locals. Why? Regular, year round discounts mean you save big time and you can also plan your visit to miss the tourist crowds. Excellent facilities make this a fun experience for kids of any age.

Was ok but far too overcrowded I think, you could barely move. I think they're needs to be a measured capacity for full enjoyment and safety. It was expensive too. Kids loved it though.

If you like water then it is a great place. Can get extremely busy and parking nearby can be busy also. Wristband preloaded with money is great for you poolside purchases.

Ideally plan for a very long day

First thing I noticed was that the changing rooms were so clean, going into the main pool area I was amazed at all the pools & water slides. My wife & soon loved it, but it was an exhausting day out

I love this place but on my last visit there was too much chlorine in the water. It coated my skin with a horrible sticky feeling and hurt my eyes. It has also left my hair very dry.
The slides are brilliant though, fun for adults and kids alike

Fantastic day for all of the family. Food was great value and very tasty. Everything under one for a great day.
Make sure to get a money loaded wristband so you can pay without taking cash into pool area.

I left my jacket on a hook with my wallet and phone in it - realised a few hours later and it had been handed in by member of staff. Sooooo relieved. And had another brilliant fun day here with the kids. Total excitement for about 5 hours for them. Highly recommended.

Considering the weather , the staff and management couldn't have done much more to accommodate the ever increasing queue . Sweets , drinks and umbrellas were provided with the promise of extended opening times .

The water park itself was very good and catered for all my family although on the day we went it was extremely busy resulting in an hour and 40 minute wait to be told that it was actually under capacity by 200 people but as they had booked online , they had priority. As much as I understand this, your website could have stated the significance of online booking. My main grievance on this day which put a real downer on the day was the blatant disregard for the rules by certain cultures who for reasons unknown, we're allowed to enter the pools fully clothed in full sportswear. This not only contaminated the water but was totally inappropriate for this kind of setting. This has put myself and family off visiting this attraction in the future and I would hope that it will be looked at. I did see members of staff telling many people they were not to enter the water due to their full clothing but they were ignored and it was not followed through. Due to this experience, I would not recommend this 'family' attraction to friends and family.

Great wave pool, lazy river and professional staff. There was lots if life guards and they were on the ball and very professional. Only downside was food and drinks were very expensive and you cannot consume your own food on pool side.

Sandcastles in Blackpool is amazing but it's not a whole day attraction which for the price you'd expect it to be once you've been on everything twice that's enough really and although they boast 18 rides most of these are for younger kids More
