We have been numerous times before, and always enjoyed ourselves. But we visited on the 15th October 2019, and the temperature inside was freezing, the water was not very warm. In the end we left early. Very disappointed.

Fantastic place to visit, although expect to queue in high season but worth it. Impressed with the staff and especially the health and safety procedures. Very well trained staff. Well done to all that work there.

Took my granddaughter, aged 4. She loved it.
Annoying you can't take you own food in. You pay enough to go in

Saving up to go again
Parking was ok bit expensive.

Great place for older kids and adults, really good service for people using wheelchairs the only downfall is its really pricey to enter then you're charged extra to use four other slides which is a ripoff

A great place to visit with your family. It is indoor waterpark so no worrying of outside weather and temperature. There is locker facility available which is free (although, you have to deposit 2 pounds as security. You can go with your luggage and deposit that on counter free of cost.

Great swimming fun pools but very busy. Lots on offer along with bigger attractions if you are willing to pay a little more. Locals can get a discount if you can provide proof of address.

Good day out with an array of water rides. Costs extra for the slides which amounts up to a quite expensive day out when you get water ride wrist bands for the full family. There is a wave pool that provides some fairly small waves around every half an hour. Food is standard fayre - burgers, pizza, etc..

Fantastic day out with the kids. It can get busy at certain times of the day in season so it's best to either go first thing or after lunch. We did eat one time, although I thought it was expensive food, the kids enjoyed it. It's basic food like burger/ hotdog and chips. There is not much for the healthier foodies lol, so eat before you go!!
There's a shop inside for souvenir gifts and a swim wear shop incase you've forgotten something. There is plenty of lifeguards around watching out, which is very reassuring with little ones around. I found the staff to be very helpful when needed too.
An all round good day out, plenty of slides to keep kiddies happy and a lazy river to go with the flow lol ( our favourite bit!!). There's also steam room/ sauna area too but I can't comment on that because we didn't use it but it looks pleasant enough.
Have a great day out folks!!! ;).

Overpriced and ridiculously crowded is how we found it on a Saturday. With only a handful of slides included in the price it s disappointing that the Sandcastles businesses strategy is to fleece you of cash. The little one enjoyed her time here but at the price we paid I think there could have been far greater experiences.

AWESOME!!

AWESOME!!
Thoroughly enjoyed it, spent three hours inside and went on all the rides, queuing time was small if any at all and it seemed busy to me!
The spa was enjoyable and a lovely was to relax the last 15 minutes or so that I was there.
Plenty of lifeguards around to help if needed will be back again.

I wouldn't recommend going. The water park was tiny and over priced for what was there. The water had loads of bugs in it and was just generally dirty. They let far too many people in and there wasn't any space to swim. People were constantly bumping into everyone. We have been to many water parks which have been busy but this was ridiculously busy. My little boy usually spends 3/4 hours swimming about as he loves the water but he wanted to leave as soon as he got in as he had lots of people bashing into him. We ended up just leaving with a very disappointed little boy.

I booked with my boyfriend as it was his 21st birthday treat and we had heard Sandcastles was a great day out for everyone.
When we got into the pool area, we decided to go into the main pool. We got half way in until we looked properly at the water; it was discoloured, not clear at all like it should have been. Neither me or my boyfriend are funny with that kind of thing in public pools usually, but the colour of that water was unlike anything we had seen before. We immediately got out and decided to go on one of the "thrill" slides, Masterblaster, as we had paid for the wristbands.

After we had queued up for our inflatables for the slide, the man giving people them at the end of the slide decided to throw it at my boyfriend! Whilst we were queuing for the slide, we noticed loads of spit on the stairs leading up which was not pleasant to nearly walk in. Then when we got to the top, the instructor told me to sit down and put my feet up, which I did. He was then extremely rude to me because I sat on the wrong side of the arrow. He made me stand up and tell him which way it was pointing and asked me "do you even listen?". That rude treatment by the staff member ruined the slide experience for me.
Then my boyfriend went down. He was half way down and going full speed when he caught his ankle between the netting and where the netting ends. He came out limping and it was then that we decided that we were going to leave the pool and talk to someone about our experience; it had been less than an hour ago that we had got our tickets.

He then told us about their no refund policy and that a lot of people get out and complain after an hour because it's busy. We explained to him that we were prepared for it to be busy, we understood about that but that wasn't why we were talking to him.

Overall it was an extremely bad experience for us and we will not be going back. I've emailed the owners to request a refund, hopefully I get at least that back...

Fabulous, took two year old for birthday treat, could go in bigger slides with adult and really enjoyed the waves in the wave pool. The changing rooms are a fair walk from the pool area, would be better if lockers where available nearer the pool to get towels out.

We went on the special accessible swimming session. It was brilliant. Great changing facilities with bed and a hoist, water accessible wheelchairs and the most amazing team of disability ambassadors all combined to make it a great evening.

Absolutely Amazing, highly recommend. It's really warm inside so you don't stand in queue wet and cold. The water slides are really impressive. Fantastic place to spend whole day. No time restrictions!

great waterpark lots to do.The staff was all great especially with my son who's autistic he had a meltdown when a staff member spotted this he pointed me towards the first aid room where they took us to the sensory room which really helped him clam down so he could carry on and enjoy his day there.Seeing the autism symbols all round the park was great to as it made me feel comfortable too knowing that staff was aware of how to talk to my son .We would defiantly return.
