Super expensive!!! There didn't seem to be any maximum capacity, there was so many people that I couldn't extend my arms without touching at least 4 people. Went in October holidays thinking it would be quiet, giant mistake. Huge queue when we arrived and it was the same length when I came back out again (I had to leave due to the sheer amount of people). I paid extra for the spa but it wasn't quite separate from the rest of the pool so you could hear everything (not exactly relaxing), gate needed the wrist band but if you pushed the gate you could just walk right in (which many people did) I definitely won't be returning. Far too expensive for what it is. Most stressful experience of my life.

My daughter and I visited on the 1August 2017. We arrived at 9:15am and left the water at 5pm although we didn't leave the park until 6pm because we visited the shop and spoke to the staff and a security officer who took the time to chat to us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lifeguards were vigilant at all times and averted a few near incidents! The food menu was varied and reasonably priced! The splash wristbands are a great idea! The rides and slides were pulsatingly thrilling and we never had a dull moment despite not having purchased the hyperzone tickets! The facilities were very clean too!
Our first water park experience was awesome! Thank you Sandcastle water park! Definitely an experience we won't forget any time soon!

Great fun and a great day out. Staff are friendly and the place is really clean. Lots of slides to keep you entertained and even a relaxing area with sauna etc. Although this is at an extra cost. Fab day out!

Had a fabulous time here. Great selection of water slides and flumes including one where you get pushed uphill! Something for everyone. We were lucky it was fairly quiet when we visited. Not sure what it would be like if very busy as we didn't have to queue long to get on the flumes.

It's a place for a perfect family holiday and adventure with great and fun water slides. It also allows coustomers to celebrate birthday parties and have diffrent sections of the park with diffrent fun facilities

Water park for young and old.
Preferably, it is better to go to the opening because fewer people.
Cloakrooms that smell very strongly of urine.
Possibility to leave the pool for lunch.
Paid parking at the foot of the pool

The kids loved it here. We hardly saw them most of the day as they were so busy on all of the slides. Hubby and I went in the spa. Not sure it was worth the extra money but it was somewhere pleasant to sit. Could do with a nice hot jacuzzi in there.
The food was not good. I did not eat my burger. This almost never happens where I don't eat food.
The changing rooms were surprisingly clean.
The wrist band with all of the access to lockers, spa and pure loaded with money to pay for food is a great idea and worked really well.
In the whole we enjoyed the day although it was a bit pricey.

Unless you book online expect a wait outside and if it's raining your sure to get wet. This place feels somewhat like a cheap theme park with only 7 main attractions inside. 5 slides/tube, a medioca sized pool with a wave machine. Sauna/steam rooms.

I went with myself, another adult and 2 children on the easter bank holiday and there must have been atleast 300 if not more people inside.

Good points:
air temperature is comfortable
plenty of seating areas inside. Handy if you want to take a break from swimming.
changing facilities are ok.

Bad points:
expensive. My personal opinion is that it isn't worth the money.
smell of urine from the old yellow and blue slides. This was noticed while waiting in the cue on the spiral steel stairs on the way to the top.
waiting time of the sides is rubbish. I waiting 40mins for a 24 second ride in one.

Extremely bad point:
some of the slopes in the walk ways are slippy. They need to change the tiles.

Overview:

Good for kids. Wouldn't rush to go again. Maybe worth a visit if you have never been before.

This place is so good it is so accomodating if you have dogs water outside more than one bowl reserved area for customers with dogs I am saying this because Blackpool should be ashamed of themselves for not providing water on the main roads no one puts water out
This place the staff are so kind and helpful nothing is too much for them

Took my disabled daughter and the staff were fantastic and very helpful. Changing facilities very good and clean. Helped us get her up to one of the slides, we carried and they cleared the route for us.
Water was a nice temperature and water wheelchair readily available.
Could just do with access to hair driers as there didn't seem to be any upstairs.

Place is good and you may have a lot of fun, but when it comes to having a lunch it is so bad. Food being overpriced is normal thing in this places, but changing 30p for mayonnaise someone with same meal deal and don't charge others is just unfair.

I love the fact that u help young children who have alot of responsibility the fact that u sponsor the young carers group around the Fylde coast.
You make them feel wanted and reconised not only a person but you make them feel like a individual and that means alot to them . Thank u xx

Half decent water park, considering the location, cost etc I was expecting much, much more so pretty disappointed. The wave machine lasts for like a few minutes and doesn't do much, while the lazy lake things is only a few meters long in a circle. It felt like the changing rooms and restaurants took up far more space than the actual pools :(
