The service is great, the food is great, the slides and fun obstacles and everything else in and around the water, structure wise, is amazing. There's so much to do, you can have birthday parties there and every set amount of minutes, the tidal wave pool comes to life which everyone loves. Overall the place is just crazy and perfect if you want to have fun with your family and friends and it's suitable for children and adults because they have their own spa, with a sauna, steam room, massage rock chairs. The whole building is awesome. Also a plus for the changing rooms, they are clean and spacious. Go there and have a blast everyone.

Been going to this place for the past 15+ years and now Im taking my son here as my mother did for me.

Being disabled swimming allows me to be more active with my son so I love this place even more, can be costly but they appreciate local customers with discounts.

I'll be buying a family pass for the coming year, i think that should say it all really?

Looks great for swimmers and the kids are happy but charging the same price for spectators is just out and out robbery and once you have told the kids you can't turn back .
Owners play on this fact.
Seating balconie glass is filthy. Tables filthy.
Heat was unbelievable air-conditioning simply not on. Even the baby was sweating.
The facilities for disabled are borderline discrimination.
I mean spectator facilities
Wrong. Just wrong

This is good the only thing was when we went there was a school trip on that none metioned when we went to pay so the pool was very very busy, also if you want to do the big flumes you have to pay extra for, and the cafe we waited for over 25mins on 4 kids meals

Good offer in place to include the hyperzone slides in the entry price at the moment and if you have a locals discount card it is not bad for 3hours entry, compared to the usual entry fee.

I don't think there is much control in getting people to leave after their allocated time slots have expired. I saw several different coloured wrist bands in circulation and we were in the last slot for the day, so it should have progressively gotten quieter.

But we didn't have to queue for anything and social distancing was relatively easy.
We visited on a Friday afternoon term time between 2pm and 5pm.

Overall a good day out. Our 7 year old and 2 year old enjoyed it. The only downside is you need to buy extra wristbands to go on the other slides, which to be honest it is already quite expensive. Other than that plenty of room in the changing rooms and easily accessible

I don't go swimming any more, but really like the atmosphere at the Sandcastle, and we often call in for a snack or a coffee. One small problem last weekend was the amount of families bringing their own food and drinks and having a free picnic. Bit bad for the staff having to clear up their mess.
