Absolutely brilliant. Fantastic design and rides,...
Absolutely brilliant. Fantastic design and rides, very helpful and professional staff. And I can't mention how clean the premises are. We definitely will return.

Always a great day out. Very friendly helpful staff, very clean and super fun for all. Thanks for another brilliant day.
Terrific entertainment for all the family. Great choice of slides
Que to get in when I went was ridiculous. Nearly a hour! Put a bit of a downer on the day. For me, the changing rooms are far too hot. I felt quite faint when trying to get dried and dressed. The staff were helpful n friendly though.
We've been to water park in Florida and apart from the beautiful sun in USA, this place was nearly as much fun. First time I've ever been to this place and always wanted to, but believe me it was well worth the wait. Definitely worth a visit if you can get a good deal on tickets!
I paid for the full wrist bands and me and my daughter got changed, cued up for the slide. Got to front of cue to be told we wasn't allowed on it as we dnt have the "full wristband". So long story sort I had to find my receipt go up to More
The kids loved it a fun day out. Price of food isn't that bad cheaper than most other places in Blackpool.
My son absolutely loves coming here. Its perfect for little children and older children alike.
Waterslides everywhere! And a wave machine. It's just a really excellent water park with nice staff.
Good place for kids. best time to to is morning before 2pm. Gets very busy after that Suitabke for kids and grownups. Good monitoring of the life guards. restaurants and good facilities. Acessible for disable
Had a great time apart from nearly drowning early on then went low on sugar life guards were great 10 out of 10 rides were ace for kids and adults great day out going back today
Absolutely love this place, it's a bit costly to get it at first, but you will not be disappointed and you'll spend the whole day inside the complex. The whole family will love it.
Amazing place can't wait to go back, all covid requirements met!
Very good if you go early.. Gets very pool a jwd I. The afternoon... Had to say though the ladies changing room toilets needed a good clean the odour was unbearable sorry
Had lovely day , staff seemed happy and helpful. We went during half term so was very busy which was expected but the queues were a too long. The cafe system is very slow took 1hr to get food. Didnt spoli our day though.
An experience, thoughtful service on first visit, thks
Loved it, heaving. Was the school hols though and so expected. Our 7 year old loved it! We loved seeing her enjoy it so much. Only really disappointing thing is they don't have enough floats and stuff to make queuing a little shorter.
A great family day out and just across from many other attractions although the food is very expensive and often not worth buying.
A great place worth visiting. The number of attractions was well spent
This place is okay for family's with young kids under 12. However any older and its not worth waiting in the queues because the rides just arent good enough. The 4 top rides you pay 6.50 extra for are pretty mediocre.
We went on a sunday afternoon and the average wait time for all slides was 20mins.
Very good but expensive. Easy to spend several hours here with the kids
Words fail to describe how INCREDIBLE the staff and management are at this place!!! My two sons have autism, and from the minute we arrived until the minute we left, we were assisted, treated with every courtesy and felt valued the whole time. We thought that the sandcastle staff were being kind to us due to our children s additional needs, BUT when watching how the staff were with everyone else, we soon found that this wasn t true. The staff here treat EVERYONE like this! We feel very grateful to have been there today. A True sign of an accessible place isn t than you are treated well at a detriment to others, but instead that you are given the same equity.
Many thanks to all
A bit expensive and short for the moment - only three hours, but otherwise great fun for children
A great place to spend free time among friends and family with young children attractions for the youngest children a lot and if adults do not like to soak their feet they can spend time in one of the many bars that are on site great entertainment nice time spent interesting it is a slide for kids I recommend children great stuff
Was having a good day until it got to the point you really couldn't move without bumping into someone the queues for the rides were ridiculous this could be a great place if only they would put a time limit on how long you can spend it really was far to packed to fully enjoy in my opinion it's almost dangerous how many people were in at one point overall its a good place just too busy food is ok and locker rooms were tidy
Kinda pricy, not so many slides. Waves at the swimming area could be more often. Fun place for a family.
It's not as big as expected from the YouTube videos we purchased tickets online but then couldn't use all the slides because that was an extra cost children really enjoyed it but we found it became alot busier after lunch this put us off a little bit as the ques for the rides ment the kids where becoming cold out of the water the staff where very friendly, provided floats for the kids to play with and enter the rapids
There was feces in the pool i think i caught something off it and it took the staff more than 10 minutes to evacuate everyone it must have been more than 100 people effected with the poo in the pool.
Had a fantastic time with the family. 1st class service for disabled guests. We will definitely come again.
Haters are going to hate, But it's probably the best place in Blackpool.
Sandcastles was well organised during the current pandemic, the rides were well supervised and queues reduced meaning more times to go again Brilliant time had by both our family groups.
Great Day Out With The Grankids. Excellent Disabled Facilities. Staff Couldnt Do Enough For Us. Nothing Was A Problem. DEFINATLY RECOMMEND FOR ALL ABILITIES.
Great day out but if you have little kids and pay for wrist bands and they dont go on the slides as they look scary to them waste of money
Excellant place for the children to enjoy themselves. Felt safe at all times. Will definitely be going back. See you soon and keep up the good work.
Great park, loved it. Theme decoration was very nicely done. The interactive part of the park was incredibly funny, with the big water canon, and buckets of water to empty on top of people, and the big coconut emptying once in a while. Great slides too, for young and old(er). Good fun!
My daughter's new bag got ripped in there locker from two protruding pieces of metal . they had us sit around to wait on the manager who just fobbed us off with " you put it in the locker " eh duh , expecting it to be un damaged and safe ... Absolutely fuming .
I only rated this a one star because of the heat when you are sitting down it is so hot you can barely breathe, and start to sweat, so possibly could you make changes to the heat and add sone air conditioning.
Rubbish that it costs so much to get in and then have to pay extra for all big slides. What a rip off
Awsome great dsy out recomended for friends and family hop you have a great time!!
Went with nephew. Cued up for 20mins out side as was very busy weather took a turn so every 1 had same idea. Management decided to stay open till 6pm so we could hav extra time to swim. Once in side we heard it was staying open till 7pm. So nephew & I had a fantastic few hrs went on every slide as we had wrist band. Well worth a visit for families recommend any time
Brilliant Place plenty to do but a lot of queuing for food
Hardly any slides & have to pay extra to go on another 4. Super expensive. Not worth it at all
Wasn't sure whether to try this place, did seem on the pricey side, but where isn't these days! Would have liked the bigger rides to be part of the entry price, but then again as I visited with just my young daughter I should be glad I didn't have to pay for rides I couldn't go on.
Quite a bit available without paying extra- the yellow/blue/red/green slides, the pirate ship with small slides, the fort with small slides, and the interactive water play area, alongside the two pools and rapids.
What I thought was really good was that there was a member of staff wandering around in the actual pool- a 'Water Ambassador', haven't seen this anywhere else. Plenty of lifeguards around the poolside too.
We got there at 8:45 for 9:00 opening and there was already a queue of 30+ people. After 11:30 the pool was very busy and there were large queues for a lot of the slides. We'd only planned to be here until lunch anyway. As we left, the entrance queue was huge!!
Free hairdryers in the changing rooms was a bonus.
Not getting the negatives reviews great water park for everyone fair price food is lovely friendly staff the only downside I have is the place allows way to many people in but beside that a great family outing.
Great for young kids, older ones perhaps get bored quicker. Expensive in realistic terms as you are unlikely to spend all day there, that said Blackpool is expensive for what it is. Parking is the biggest issue. There is parking outside but it's open to anyone and there lies the problem and of course you have to pay for that as well.
Absolutely fantastic water park, great slides, great value, if you are planning a day in Blackpool, you can easily spend the full day in the Sandcastle, we spent approximately 4 hours there, and had the most fun I've ever had in Blackpool. Absolutely fantastic, well worth the money
Best experience I've had, the rides were amazing (went on all of them), food was great, lovely staff, it's the place I would go back to
was great for kids but not updated in years. needs new slides I think.
Great place for kids of all ages thank you for a great time my triplet girls loved it as much as my older two there were still slides for the little ones.
A great place to take the family, for some splashy fun. Locals can get a discount card too, which makes it more affordable, just take proof of your address. Good changing facilities, lots of slides and other adventurous things to do. Also has a spa area for over 18s (purchacable wristband required).
However, they don't allow picnics and the food bought on premises is expensive.
The big minus for me though is that whilst I was there (and I've been there quite a few times) is that staff stationed at slides can look so bored and not engage with you at all. I also heard Staff on consessions in this case ticket booth, and on the way out,the gift shop staff rushing your queries and actually mentioning the queues behind you.
Overall though it's a good day out, but some improvement is needed.
Really great water park. Do yourself a favor and get there early to enjoy half an hour of short queues. Lunch early to and enjoy the short ques through lunch too.
Fantastic, but be prepared to queue, both inside and out. Book in advance.
