Me and my two friends were visiting the Sandcastle Waterpark today. We went to the Bongo Bongo cafe for lunch. We placed our order and were given our drinks. We were left waiting for 25 minutes whilst other people behind us were receiving their food. My friend politely asked a staff member where our food was. They asked us for a receipt and told us that our order had not been put through. By this time we had been waiting for over half an hour. Our order was replaced and we received our meal. We did not get an apology for our long wait or their lack of organisation, the way the staff treated us was unacceptable. The Waterpark was good but unfortunately the cafe was not. We are disappointed and will not return to Bongo Bongo cafe again.

Fantastic day. So much for everyone, lots of waterslides - including some quite scary ones, pools and wet play areas. There's also a small spa area with steam rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really nice cafe too.

Fun atmosphere, great and thrilling rides, thing that me or my mum wen't happy that even though there were signs near showers to explain not to shower naked, there were two families were 1 stripped of there little boy and then female and her two daughters were there was a male boy that came in looking for someone. Other than that a brilliant day

Very busy, far too many people crammed in,everytime you moved you had someones foot or hand touching you, large queues for the slides, very overpriced for what you get, wont be going again

Their new covid system is really effective although i gave it 4 stars as it was nearly imposible to find a time slot. In the end their rides are a bkast and the wave pool is fun for smaller kids.

I really enjoyed the sandcastle. Initially you think it's quite expensive for a day out at the swimming. However there is lots to do for all ages of kids. We also opted to put money on our electronic wristband and we had lunch as well. Food was reasonable and as good as any take away burger joint. The slides are great two in particular were excellent. Loads of lifeguards on duty and CCTV cameras every where so it felt a safe environment for the kids. Plenty lockers and changing facilities so no problems there. Would also comment that the whole complex was clean probably due to the ammount of staff that were on hand. We also opted to book on line saving a bit of money on entry and also avoiding any Q on entry as there is a separate area for entry. T
Any one who is not swimming there is plenty of spectator areas and plenty of seats. Really enjoyable afternoon.

Was their today too much school kids lifeguards had no control over them they were hanging from the bridge on the rapids even after being told off by life guards.
One family got nocked over and hit by same group of school kids.

First advice - book ahead - apologies to the 2 hour queue we walked past to get in. Staff were without exception friendly and helpful and the venue itself was good fun for a family.

Bit of a shame about the pricing structure but I guess it makes sense to have a cheaper ticket for "non-premium" rides.

Still worth a 4 star review as a day out but the food point soured the day slightly.

Absolutely brilliant top quality. The staff were so helpful with directions and making sure that everyone was safe and having fun. The rides were amazing absolutely thrilling and well worth a go on every single one. Plus a bonus at a reasonable price access to the spa which was deeply relaxing.

Would defiantly go again.

Went last week extremely busy as I thought it would be. Thought it was a bit expensive. Had to cue for float for the slides then cue for the slide didn't so didn't really go on many. Kids enjoyed it but I probably wouldn't go again

Go when it's quiet, master blaster and Aztec falls awesome. For an indoor UK waterpark it's cool. Gran canaria aqualand is better, but without a holiday abroad this is great.
Blackpool was somewhat underwhelming otherwise

Due to Covid, it was a shame that some areas like the spa were closed etc, but it was still a great experience, though the only thing I don't like is the coldness of the changing rooms you go from nice tropical temperature inside the pool to freezing your clackerbag heading to the changing room, it'd be nice if it was all the same warm temperatures etc. Apart from that I had nae issues.

Because i went 15 year ago and everything is exactly the same there is literally only 2 new rides after 15 years if nor going there thought they would of updated it alot more its kinda dead for what u pay for if u dont gst hyper wirst band then there is deddo no point to go there is in total proper rides 6 thats it not really great for the price u pay for it got bored in 4 hours

Slides, rides, lazy river and wave machine great fun. No actual swimming pool was a bit disappointing. You must pre book online for a time slot. Good I idea to help social distancing. We eat in the restaurant service was a bit slow but, you get a silver wrist band to extend you rime by 30mins. Over all a great family half day out.

Cool

Great few hours out but others have mentioned far too many people are allowed in, it's next to impossible to distance in the pools. They just give notices, don't go in the pools iif too many are alreafy in. Well there's too many in constantly so you can't really or you get in then get swarmed by people. No one cared queing up either there was only our family and one other wearing masks.

Staff brilliant but I'd encourage folks to report to Blackpool environmental health if you feel distancing wasnt managed well. They are the only folks which can force them to make changes.

What a fantastic place. We were in there for 5 hours and it was a struggle to get my daughter out.
We booked online and I though it was a bit expensive but when you arrive and see what's there it's well worth the money.
You can have food in there and its all pool side so no need to change. Its burger and chips etc and it is a good burger for the price.
There are lots of slides, a wave machine and a lazy river to float around.
The best point that I must add is the amount of lifeguards. All helpfully and friendly keeping an eye on everyone. There is also a water ambassador (lifeguard) in the water with you making sure you are safe.
All in all a great day out.

A great place for the whole family. Water attractions: slides, water massages, artificial river, sea waves make day trips more pleasant;) I heartily recommend it. I will definitely visit this place again. ;)

I visited just over a week ago and was looking forward to the morning at Sandcastle. We had a 3 hour timeslots booked but I left after about 1.5 hours. Initially it was great but then it became too busy and people were not socially distancing. I felt uncomfortable with the amount of people allowed in and so decided to cut short my visit. People were definitely not sticking to groups of 6 or less and were also not keeping 1m away. I am sure I would give this place a higher rating if they had managed the number of people better.
