We had a wedding and honeymoon here -- service exceeded all expectations. Resort itself was simply fantastic -- location, weather, room, food, drinks, facilities, staff and even other visitors (mostly Americans). By the way -- you can even visit a couple of other nearby Sandals resorts using a free hourly shuttle.

Sandal's bait & switch program. We had stayed in Ocho Rios the previous year and thought it was great. Booked a room with soaking tub, big bed, very plush, very modern. Had to change because family health issues, and were told we could upgrade to a "nicer room", called a Royal Suite, for the same fee as the change fee. Did the deal and got a Motel 6 quality room with a micro-bathroom, hard-bed, low water pressure, virtually no hot water, faucets that were broke, towel racks coming down, and walls that needed to re-finishing completely. What a dump. Then we had to put up with attitude from the wait staff - like we were putting them out by asking for food or drink. The butlers and massage staff were great! But the rest of the first line team was terribly. When we complained we got the "corporate did it" story on the room and those people from Montego Bay, you know there just more difficult than the home-grown folks from Ocho Rios. We are sorry, here's $300 Sandal's credit points, would you like to book for next year? I won't go back to Sandal's if you paid me; what a bunch of liars, and BS artists. $5400 and airplane tickets to get there - what a waste. I hope they post this review because the Sandal's Royal Caribbean is a dump, they lied to us, treated us bad, and the folks that run it are a sad bunch of "wanna be's". They had several chances to make this right and didn't. My advice - don't even think about it.

My husband and I had an amazing time during our honeymoon at sandals. The rooms were gorgeous and our over the water bungalow was top notch. Our butlers Anthony and sherry Ann and Marjorie and Delroy truly helped make our experience at the resort ten times better. There were also other staff members such as shamar and devoy (bartenders) and Elmo (entertainment) who also helped contributed to the wonderful experience we had and were such amazing and friendly people. Unfortunately a couple of things including a shrimp incident during our candlelight dinner left a sour taste and contributes to just the 4 stars. On our first day there, we decided to get into the pool and literally 5 minutes later I had stepped on a metal wire that was sticking straight up at the bottom of the pool. The wire got lodged into my foot and I had to get taken to the nurse, as it was pretty painful to get pulled out of my foot. The theory was that one of the wire bristles from the pool brush must have fallen off as they were brushing the pool
In the morning and was just sticking straight up waiting for someone to step on it. You would think management would have stopped by to offer some sort of apology, but nope. Anyway, after the wire was removed and I was bandaged, it didn t hurt as bad anymore and I wasn t going to let that ruin my honeymoon. a couple of days later as we were having our candlelight beach dinner I felt a weird tingle in my throat. It was very dark because we chose the later time so my husband used his phone to shine a light on our food and we found shrimp in my meal (im allergic). Luckily our dinner was set up pretty much in front of our room so I was able to run to the room and pop 3 Benadryl. 10 minutes later my mouth and throat stopped tingling and swelling and I became extremely drowsy. We never made it back out to finish dinner or dessert. We had chosen our meals for the dinner the day before. They provide you with a menu that includes a description of the food. Nowhere in the description did it note any shrimp for my meal. Apparently the chef decided to get creative and add some ingredients. Just so happened that he added the one thing I m allergic to and can close my throat, preventing me from breathing. We were eventually refunded for the candlelight dinner (it took a couple of days) but we weren t offered another one. Our servers and butlers were extremely apologetic but the hotel manager that finally came to see us was not so apologetic. My new, protective husband was obviously really upset over this incident and was extremely upset that we never got to finish the dinner, that it ruined our whole night because the medicine had me in bed by like 9pm and it continued to affect me into the next morning because I was so groggy from it. All the hotel manager offered was a refund, nothing for the night I missed out on or an apology for almost killing me. All he said was that he has a medical background (not knowing that my husband and I do as well and that I worked in pharmacy) and tried to downplay the effects of Benadryl when my husband was explaining how it impacted my night and next morning (because I m 100 pounds and rarely take medicine). The manager tried to say that Benadryl affects everyone differently, which is entirely true, but regardless it still causes unusual drowsiness in people which is why it is universal to warn everyone taking it to not operate heavy machinery while on it. He was absolutely not sympathetic at all for basically poisoning me and ruining a whole night, which put a huge damper on our honeymoon. Besides that, we had an over the water bungalow that was supposed to come with club Mobay for our departure at the airport. When we went to the club Mobay desk we found out that sandals never set up club Mobay for us like they were supposed to, which is a disappointment considering how much money you pay for the over the water bungalow. Other than that, we made the best out of our honeymoon and went on awesome excursions and got some massages.

The service was top notch! We felt like royalty. It was truly a week of pleasure. The Oceanview room with tranquility tub on the balcony was wonderful. The food was amazing at all restaurants on property. Thank you Sandals for well needed vacation to keep our minds off reality during this pandemic

RUINED OUR HONEYMOON! Horrible customer service!!...

RUINED OUR HONEYMOON! Horrible customer service!!!
The customer service at this place was horrible.
To start, it took 3 hours to get our luggage to our room after we checked in, so we couldn't go to the beach or pool without our swim suits. Their excuse- "It was raining". We walked to our room in the rain, so why couldn't someone bring our luggage? And then our luggage was soaking wet when we got it.
Next- We ordered room service while we waited 3 hours for our luggage- it never came. So after we finally got our luggage, we went down to get dinner, and it took about 45 minutes to get a beer. Oh, and they ONLY HAVE RED STRIPE BEER! So the dude brings my beer after I'm completely finished with my meal. Thanks for nothing.
The next morning we woke up and ordered room service for breakfast. After about an hour and a half of waiting, we said screw it and went down and ate at the buffet. The one star I gave for this review is because the food was all really good.
Next complaint: We paid $180 for a private candlelight dinner. We pre ordered a bottle of wine- we never got wine, even after we asked for it several times. I asked for a beer when we first sat down. We got our salads- no beer. I asked for my beer again. Then we got appetizers- still no beer. I asked again. Then we got the main course- STILL NO BEER! So I ran, in my suit, up to my room to get a beer for my wife and I. When the server came back, he had the audacity to say "Who did my job for me and brought you beers?" I almost flipped out! But I didn't want to ruin my honeymoon anymore than Sandals employees were already doing :( We tried to focus on the positives and have a good time. When the server brought our dessert, be brought a bucket of beers with it. It was almost like he was mocking us, disrespectfully. Very disappointing.
Next complaint: While at the beach, my wife was laying in this big yellow tube in the beach water, and the employees made her get out of it. She didn't know why. She came over to me and was upset, so we watched them, and they dragged the tube out of the water and cleaned it. They made my wife get out of the tube she was relaxing in, on our honeymoon, paying $1,000 a day, and they made her get out of the tube so they could clean it... Wow.
We also scheduled a photo shoot. When we walked into the photo room they acted like we didn't have an appointment, and then they rushed the photos, so we didn't get anything good.
Next complaint: We tried to schedule dinner reservations and everything we called was all booked. We went to the island for lunch and they were out of chicken. They also didn't have any limes anywhere on the resort. They kept saying they were out of season. It's May. Pretty sure they're in season.
Next complaint: A few nights we didn't have any hot water!!! I took a cold shower one night because we were meeting friends for dinner.
Next complaint: they never would let us sit by the water at this restaurant we ate at a few times. It was really pretty with outside seating on the deck by the ocean, and they wouldn't let us sit out there! We asked and they said they weren't seating anyone out there because of the rain. It wasn't raining! It was almost insulting, because it obviously wasn't because of rain.
Next complaint: The morning we were leaving, we had to catch the bus at 7:45. We went down to get some breakfast at 7:00. All the food was out on the buffet, but we were told we had to wait until 7:30. We explained that we had to catch the bus to the airport at 7:45, so it would be nice if they'd let us grab a quick plate of food- nope. No exceptions. So we walked back to the front desk to ask if they could help us get some food before we left for the airport- nope, no exceptions. So I asked to speak with a manager- "We don't have a manager here." By then, we were so fed up, disappointed, and literally heartbroken over the continuous poor customer service we received every step along the way. We aren't rich people, and paying $5,000 for this honeymoon was all we had.

Let me start by saying this trip was supposed to b...

Let me start by saying this trip was supposed to be a reprieve from our poor Sandals St. Lucia trip... We were pressured into allowing them to make everything better as they sold us on this beautiful OCEAN-VIEW Butler Room with dipping tub... Well... this was partially correct... you could kind-of see the Ocean over the construction site... I am on construction sites with my work and a room over looking a construction site listening to them cranking up a cutoff saw, running tampers, tying in rebar and having a wall around the construction site to stop the cool island breezes was not my idea of a relaxing vacation! That being said, the majority of the staff were friendly, pleasant and professional! The restaurants were so so.. The Thai Restaurants and French were good but small portions. We had the Surf and turf at the Caribbean restaurant and found the steak to be small and tough and the lobster tail to be extremely small, very disappointing... Back to the room...After arriving, I explained about my discontent to our Butler. He explained to me that all rooms similar to ours were in this section and switching to another room would simply be in the same location. After hearing the cutoff saw crank up again I called and asked to speak to a manager... a manager called me back and I explained my dilemma. He asked if I would like him to come to the room and see to which I said yes. About an hour later, he showed up. I showed him the view and again stressed my discord. He said he would see what he could do. That was the last time I ever heard from him.. no follow-up, nothing! About mid week, we were being flooded by a leak from out air conditioner. We were told it was probably because we had our patio door open too much but said they would send someone from engineering. I didn t think we had left the door open that much but thought whatever.. from then on we were pretty vigilant in keeping it shut... no word from maintenance, at all! I reminded our Butler, who made the appropriate calls as well as housekeeping who made the appropriate calls... Nothing! The bed, as quant as it looked, was extremely uncomfortable! The last three nights of my stay were nearly sleepless due to back pain radiating into my legs! I ve stayed at hotels which were 1/8 the price and had a terrific nights sleep! Lastly ( on the room) watch the wet floors; I and my wife nearly brook our skulls from slipping on the wet marble floors, one from the shower area and one from where the AC was leaking.. now, onto the resort, the resort was much smaller then anticipated. There was only one relatively small (6 seats) swim up bar. The drinks were VERY watered down, there was not a large beach area and a chunk of that was taken up by the new construction area and of course there was the low flying jet traffic starting at around 7 am and then about every 30 minutes until about 5 PM. I mentioned the restaurants.. We heard about one restaurant, Butch s, we tried to make reservations and found it was at another Sandals and was booked about a week in advance.... on the positive side, the scuba diving was great, the spa was great and the staff were superb. The Butlers ( Sheldon and Andre ) were exquisite! We ve been to several 4 and 5 star resorts and feel that this resort is mismanaged in comparison. We also feel that we were bamboozled into taking this unique trip having a Butler and beautiful room overlooking the Caribbean ... and are very disappointed.. Perhaps some advanced warnings about the construction (as we were told about on one of our Mexico trips by a well managed 4.5 Star resort) and follow up by the management as to our discontent with various issues, a pre-warning about the air traffic and showing some real customer care would have elevated the resort from a two star to a three star but it is definitely NOT a 5 star resort!

Staff very friendly
Unfortunately, everything is very tight and small you can not see in the photos.
Not enough of the ancient beach chairs on the beach and constantly occupied by the Butlers ..... and no one uses them.

I booked the Swim-up Crystal Lagoon Honeymoon One ...

I booked the Swim-up Crystal Lagoon Honeymoon One Bedroom Butler Suite. There was a continual communication gap where the workers would ask a question but not provide context to allow you to make an informed decision. For example, the beach at this resort is very minimal so if you plan to lounge on the beach you need to reserve a chair at sunrise or you will be stuck by the pool. Being a first time visitor to the resort, I didn't know this nor was it explained. So it wasn't until the fourth day there that we finally got the early morning reservation Throughout the course of the stay many requests went unfulfilled or had to be handled personally by us - which is not why I paid extra money for a butler. Some unfulfilled requests are: to unpack our luggage, bring white rum to the room, restock champagne, determine if ginger is avail on resort (so we could book a boat ride - I have motion sickness), provide additional wash cloths, inform us of where we can work out outside (since walking along the beach as we had planned was out of the question), how to get currency to pay local vendors, etc. Individually these complaints are minor, but when you have spent an extra 2K just for butler service - you quickly begin to feel as if you were conned out of your money.

Now on to the food. Since this is a five star American resort I naively expected five star food. The food at breakfast and lunch (at the Mariner Hut) were decent. However dinner every night varies from gross, to making me sick (I was sick two days), to not even worth trying. We went to bed hungry every night there. The food was mediocre at best but the service made it even worse. I'll avoid detailing each restaurants misgivings but I will explain a few of the continual issues we faced:
- having to repeatedly ask for silverware and water, causing the food to chill while waiting on basic standards
- Nasty attitudes by wait staff
- Food presentation far exceeding the actual food taste
- Food being available at the resort but not on the menu (like chicken wings for room service or onion rings for lunch)
- Something in the food made me sick, on two separate days
- Cats roaming around guests eating dinner despite three guests making it clear that they are allergic or terrified of animals

Lastly, I want to hit on the service again. I understand that the Jamaican culture is different than American culture and I was prepared to deal with those differences. But I don't like to pay people to treat me horribly. We had to constantly ask questions because information was not already given. When we asked questions we were met with instant disdain and borderline disgust for daring to ask a question. And even when we tried to spend money with a local vendor and at the Sandals stores (Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Montego Bay) we were met with ridicule, lack of effort/care to help, and followed while in both stores while other people were blatantly not followed around during their visit. I came to Jamaica to relax, relate, and release instead I left disappointed In this resort and Jamaica, famished, ready to return home. The resorts in Montego Bay need a culture change. People do not pay thousands of dollars to be treated badly, remain hungry, and fighting daily for basic things like sugarless drinks, silverware, and answers to questions that should have already been answered. As a possible future customer, I would urge others to choose this resort at their own risk and definitely not to pay extra for Butler.

My husband and I just spent our honeymoon here February 4-11, 2017. Very relaxing atmosphere and the scenery is beautiful. We enjoyed all of the restaurants, especially Royal Thai. The swim up bars were awesome, and the majority of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the fact that we were able to enjoy the restaurants and beaches at Sandals Montego Bay as well, with just a short shuttle ride. We enjoy walking on the beach, so we liked the atmosphere at Montego Bay's beach a little more. If you are looking for a walking beach, Royal Caribbean may not be the place for you. Royal Caribbean does have more of an older crowd vs. Montego Bay. We had a club level room, and our concierge, Javed, was awesome. Our mini bar was stocked every day, and he always checked in to make sure we were taken care of. The bed was comfortable and the room was kept cool. The housekeeping staff stops by several times a day to make the bed (always with towel art included) restock towels, and clean the room.

Negatives: The staff pressures you too much to purchase extras, such as spa packages, photo shoots, etc.. In my opinion, you're paying enough for the resort package as it is, so you shouldn't feel pressured to book a $300 couples massage. Being pressured by staff members walking around while trying to relax on the beach isn't ideal. My husband and I decided to take advantage of the complimentary photo shoot that is offered. I chose to purchase one picture in a frame for FORTY DOLLARS that I easily could have printed at Rite Aid. The quality was poor and dark when printed, and it was a major rip off. You're better off printing your own photos when you get home. Also, we booked a private candlelight dinner on the beach and chose to postpone it until the following night, due to rain. When we came down for the dinner the following night, they had no record of us ever rescheduling, and we needed to wait an additional hour so they could set it up. A bit annoying when we paid $180 extra for the dinner.

The pools and the facility was good, but the waitresses and waiters throughout the day didn't seem to want to be bothered with getting us anything.
The entertainment they tried to provide in the evening was just their own staff that worked there and it was amateur hour at its best

What an amazing experience! My husband and I just got back 4 days ago and stayed 5 days to celebrate our 15th. Yes there are themed nights so look to see what's going on before you leave. Beach party! Pool party! White party! Drinks were always cold, staff couldn't do enough for us, and were extremely friendly. We enjoyed the variety of food and restaurants offered. Between activities and entertainment, and quiet moments in between, we couldn't have asked for a more romantic, fun atmosphere. Thank you sandals for giving us the get away we needed.

We had a fabulous vacation recently at the Sandals Royal Carribean resort. All of the staff were absolutely amazing and we could tell they really appreciated having us since they recently reopened because of the pandemic. The food was fantastic, we didn t have to ask the staff for anything because they knew within the first day what we liked drinking, eating and our daily routine. Big shout out to Lorraine at the front desk for greeting us at the start and being friendly and efficient. We loved going to the French restaurant and seeing Roy as our waiter several times-he is awesome! Garfield s wonderful cheer and enthusiasm was wonderful and he helped us for breakfast. Samoy at the main Piano bar made us great cocktails and the beach front was great. Ruben at the beach front was always friendly and helpful. All in all, we had an amazing experience at this resort and strongly recommend booking it in the future-it will be an unforgettable experience.

This place is absolutely a paradise that you can only dream about. My stay there was wonderful. My husband and I loved it so much that we are planning on spending our next anniversary there the end of this year. I posted several pictures from this Sandals Royal Caribbean property on Google. And received over 3,000 views. If you get a chance to go you will not be disappointed. Some rooms offer Butler service. We felt like royalty.

There is not much bad I can say about this resort, it exceeded our expectations!!

My new hubby and I went here at the end of May for our honeymoon. We got club level rooms in the building that started with a K (can t remember the name exactly). This building was great as it was the furthest from verything, had a private beach/pool and felt very secluded. I loved club level for the stocked bar in the rooms and the access to the club check in room (unlimited bottled water through out the day- we found ourselves going here frequently to grab some bottles for the beach).

The food here was phenomenal. We really liked the Thai restaurant. Additionally we went over the Montego bat resort and ate at the orleandar, this was amazing too. It s fair to say we didn t have a bad meal the whole trip.

This is the best all exclusive resort I ve ever been to. The staff here is so accommodating, the food was great and the beaches were pristine. I highly highly recommend!!

We've been to Sandals now 3 times, and Royal Caribbean twice. It is absolutely the most luxurious and extravagant resort we've ever seen. The grounds are incredible, staff friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks top shelf. Absolutely gorgeous part of Montego Bay, we can't recommend this place enough to friends and family! Definitely 5 star

Natasha was nothing short of AMAZING! She was welcoming, friendly, client focused and made my family feel special. She is a top notch employee of the facility as well as her staff. The people at the resort were fantastic!! We had a great time for Christmas. The only feedback I would give is to limit the drug dealers that float around in their kayak on the beaches at the resort...They were annoying to have around everyday from morning until night

Traveled between Jan 6-11. Ride to the hotel was approximately 15 mins. At arrival we were welcomed and shown to our rooms. The grounds are beautiful with lots of flowers and palm trees. The food at all restaurants was amazing, our favorite was the French. The staff was amazing and accommodating to all of our requests, extremely friendly an willing to go the extra mile. The beach is smaller than resorts in Dominican Republic/Cuba; however, you can always access the private island which is usually less crowded and in my opinion has the best views. The Private island also has a restaurant where you can grab lunch and a bar. Due windy weather we were unable to try any of the water sports available. The only downside was the wait time between the time you order your meals and the time is being served at the sit down restaurants for dinner. Overall, great experience.

Pros:

Pros:
1. The butler service was superb. Very good people and well trained.
2. Most of the staff was very friendly, with the occassional bad attitude.
3. The bungalos are very nice inside, however you must take a boat there, so be prepared to wait up to 15-20 minutes every trip back to your room or mainland, even if it is to go for a workout or meal. Pretty inconvenient.
4. The food variety was great, pretty consistently above average food. I would not call it great though.

Cons:
1. They advertise state of the art gym facility, however it was a small room with some random gym machines.
2. They advertised our onshore room online with lavish photos and the reality was very different. Old furniture, terrible spot by a construction site with drilling all day. Bee nest outside the room. Didn't help I am highly allergic.
3. Bees ALL over the property. We avoided a lot of pools and bars because bees flying around everywhere.
4. Chairs were not maintained by staff on beaches/pools. It was very trashy. I literally saw the same beer bottle and sun screen sitting on a chair for 2 days straight.
5. They handle the departure schedule to the airport, however they were 30 minutes late delivering our private car in our package after they forgot to make arrangements.
6. The front desk sent us to the other resort for an event they recommended, and the event had ended hours prior.

Overall, we pay a premium for Sandals to get the details right. With some false advertising combined with getting many inconsistencies in the details, it felt like a 3-star hotel in the states in terms of services and conditions.

We will not be using Sandals again in the future as other resorts offer a very similar experience for a fraction of the cost.

We stayed at the Sandals Montego Bay and you get access to both resorts via a 10 minute shuttle. We ventured over here and This is definitely a smaller resort than SMB so there are less restaurants. There is a little island that is part of the resort that is accessible via a water taxi. There was also some major construction going on here when we went in January 2020. We could hear jack hammering all throughout the main area. Its necessary to upgrade the hotel and is a temporary thing but check with the report before you book and maybe consider waiting until the work is complete. Sandals needs to clean the trash out of the water at the end of the docks. Years of drunk guests empty glasses and trash have noticeably built up. Not the resorts fault and the adult guests should know better. Overall I would say this resort is still great but we were glad that we stayed at Montego Bay, which is the flagship Sandals here.

Considering how much a stay here costs, and their ...

Considering how much a stay here costs, and their "luxury included" advertising, I don't think Royal Caribbean lives up to the expectations they set. There was extensive construction happening our entire stay there, which included jackhammering all day. From what I saw there were two separate areas under construction. Totally understandable that resorts need to have construction projects to keep their property updated, but we were never warned of this, offered no discounted rate, and our first room was located right next to the construction which meant that the jackhammering was CLEARLY heard in the room. To the resort's credit, once we made them aware of our discomfort they immediately offered us a choice of two other rooms on the property, so I'm extremely happy with the way they handled it.

The general state of the resort leaves a lot to be desired, their beach is pretty disappointing and does not at all feel like a luxury resort. With a stay at Royal Caribbean, there is a free shuttle that takes you to the sister resort, Montego Bay, which is much larger and has a significantly better beach and overall feel.

The food was the highlight for me, there are a handful of options (and again you have access to both Royal Caribbean and Montego Bay) and the portion sizes are great -- the appetizers are not too big that you have no room for the entree, and desserts are a good size as well.

Overall, I'm not sure I'd return to Royal Caribbean, but I did enjoy the experience and would likely stay at another Sandals property.

Love love love this place! We had a walkout swim up room with a butler. The room was beautiful, our private pool are and chairs were romantic. Andre G the butler was AMAZING! He got us anything we needed, decorated our room with flowers , had champagne chilling, and a warm bubble bath drawn and ready to go. He made our dinner reservations, saved us seats at the beach or pool, brought us drinks, spoiled us completely! Shamesha at the Mariner restuarant was also amazing! We met here shortly after arriving and looked for her daily! She even brought us birthday cake when she found out we were celebrating a birthday one day. We were sad to leave her. The shows each night were entertaining and fun. The DJ was great. The food at each restaurant was amazing! I only wish the AC in the buildings and restaurants was better. I'm a spoiled American that likes to be very cool!

We were disappointed this year. Visited SRC August 21-28, 2017. Tenth stay at SRC. Got immediate pickup by Limo from MBJ to resort. Check-in was quick and efficient. Stayed in Caernavon Building, 2nd floor as usual. Room was clean and comfortable.
Highlights: Most restaurants (except for Royal Thai) were good. Regency Buffet area renovation is outstanding, but Regency dining area itself could use a little TLC. Jardinere Restaurant was very good, except needed some mosquito control. Mariners Beach Bar was good. The returning guest dinner and the Diamond Level Luncheon with the Manager were good. Roderick and the other Cricketer bar staff were great! We had fun reminiscing about The Kapitan, Verna, Albert, and Eric, all who are retired. Our pool attendant/lifeguard at the Caernavon Pool was outstanding!
Not so good: the "White Night" has changed from Monday to Thursday, and no longer includes a buffet around the pool with seating at the stage and pool area. Only special event that night is the "Chocolate Buffet". Kinda begs the question, what are we getting dressed up in White for?

The Red Lane Spa in the newer building is great for massages and facials, but their Manicure/Pedicure facilities and service in the original spa building are deplorable.
The Travel Office attempts to have you signup for a return visit next year, but their "deal" is inferior to many specials that Unique Travel runs throughout the year. For example, they only offered a $100.00 Spa Credit, but the special that we took advantage of this year offered a $250.00 Spa Credit and a pair of Waterford Crystal Champagne flutes.
On Beach Party Day only a couple of Vendors were on site; there used to be many. Unless some improvements, particularly with the evening entertainment ensue, next year we plan to change resorts.

Loved the bungalow, loved the butler service, loved the sandals club , Ce Ce is the best. They need better entertainment and more fun at the bars since they dont have enough restaurants or bars. The construction was in front of our room and the weddings were parties in front of our room (the glass doors are not sound proof no matter what they tell you) the rooms smelled moldy. But the upgrade to the bungalow was awesome! And the rooms in the sandals club look nice and are spacious for comfort just didnt like the smell.

The service was amazing. Delroy Knuckle and Demetra Peterkin were exceptional. The best butlers on the planet! We got married on property and also stayed in the overwater bungalows for our honeymoon. It was pure magic! We can't wait to go back. Nicole, Uston, Jeffrey and the other boat drivers, Kadian, the bartenders, servers, everyone was so accommodating and friendly!

Absolutely beautiful (and not too crowded, mid sized) resort, excellent service and dining options as you'll find with all Sandals resorts. It can be very windy with rough surf at this location, however and, the airport is so close there are planes flying overhead (very noisy) all day long.

While we enjoyed our stay at Sandals, we have to say their Check In process took forever. We waited almost 4 hours to check in and by that time, we were already quite upset that nobody was coming to us to update us on what was going on. Apart from that, everything else was great. The nightly entertainment was amazing. The food and the drinks were great and the service by everyone we came across was amazing. I hope they can streamline their check in process and maybe reviews would be better.

Monique and Chad were amazing as our butler team, made my wife's birthday perfect. Kewayne is an all star employee and person on the private island. Ran into some hiccups but all in all is a great property to visit and not have any worries.

This was our first Sandals trip and we had seen mixed reviews. Everything about the trip was AMAZING. Awesome staff, wonderful food, and amazing vibe. Loved everything about it and will definitely be going back. Request Steve/Nicholas as your butler's, they are great. And dont forget to go see Rohan and Travis at the Cricket pub, they are amazing bar tenders
