The pay to work ratio is exceptional. The work culture is for adults that emphasizes attendance and personal responsibility. As far as the complaints of inequality and racism, nothing could further from the truth. If you show up to work and stay off your phone you won't have problems staying employed here and ANY manager here can understand the way you talk. It's a fantastic place to work and I highly recommend. Just make sure you're mentally competent enough to handle light criticism and have the ability to hold yourself accountable for you own mistakes.
Honestly if i could give NO STAR I would! The job is super easy & pays good but the older people on day shift are garbage. If you're NOT like them or fit in their "click" be prepared to experience issues even more so if you're not very sociable & stay to yourself! Discriminative supervisors aka Greg Ware said that he didnt understand the way I talked & maybe the African American supervisor did but not him. The people in the office dont even try to get to know their employees on a personal level but go by the feedback from other employees. If someone doesnt want you there they literally can lie their way around to get you OUT! Employee ran company! Have NEVER had this much issues anywhere EVER! The senior citizens here have more drama than highschoolers do. Company only has a handful of blacks, hispanics, asians etc. Not a diverse company to work for at ALL! Noones on the same page as far as policies which will result in employee getting introuble for mistakes tht resulted in poor communication! This company needs organization & a stronger foundation to be better! The upper management needs to have a better hand at knowing their employees & taking care of issues in each department.
Some things need to really be changed. But on a good note, the people are easy to get along with.
Racist company that only hires white males. In order to not seem racist they will tho hire one black and a couple Mexicans.
Driver's if you pickup at the Easy St. Facility be prepared for a long wait. Sat at the Dock for over 3 hours. Glad Warehouse really need to review there shipping procedures.
My review goes down to another warehouse (same company) Glad/Clorox 1101 W Easy St, drop and hook, slide tandems to rear, and NEVER come in bobtail.
Nice staff. 45 minutes unload. No overnight parking
Great place fast loading in and out less the 45min!!
Nice people fast to unload..first and maybe the last one that I ve seen the gates are not opening from the sides instead it s opening upwards
I've been here less than a year and so far working at Glad has been the best job I've ever had. Glad gives you ample time and resources for training to make sure you succeed. If you show up with a strong work ethic and have a positive attitude this can be great place to work. I hope to be here for another 20 years. I love the 2-2-3 schedule. It allows for lots of days off. The 12 hour over nite shifts can be long for some people but we are well compensated for our time. Glad pays better than most jobs(with out a degree) in the NWA area. There is possibility for advancement. Lots of team leads and people with admin jobs started out as TPOs. Most importantly each shift is like a family. We all work together as a team to get the job done. It can be hard to get hired here but if you do this can be a place you can retire from. I've met lots of people here with 30 plus years. I'm so GLAD to be here.
