Great place awesome workers. A few unpleasant experiences here and there but not enough to reduce the score. Dewayne and Sherry-Ann the butlers were great. The selection of food could be switched up every now and then.

Most of the staff were great, but we had a horrible experience with our Butler that ruined our entire trip. There is no consistency with the rules. We were planning to return to renew our vows but we will not be coming back. Our butler Andrei ruined those plans.

Very nice resort... Had a blast despite one of the days being icky (rainy, windy, cloudy). The only negative was having to endure the barrage of airplanes flying overhead non-stop every 10 to 20 minutes from about noon until about 9pm; makes it hard to relax and take a nap on the beach. Beach was nice with a large amount of chairs and papayas to keep you in the shade. Plenty of food and booze to fatten you up. Grounds were well maintained and the staff was plentiful, helpful, and extremely friendly!

This was the most relaxing vacation, that I have ever been on.
The staff was nice and caring. Every staff member you ran in to said Hi and asked how your day was going.
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay at SANDALS again.

Preparing to visit SRC for the 2nd time to celebrate Anniversary. Its been a few years but I dont remember customer service being so pushy. I will never call again! 25 minutes trying to sell me extras for a 5 min question and answer. SALE SALE SALE!!! I can book everything on the app! This is the 3rd time I've had this experience since booking. Maybe I'll change my rating after my vacation......back from SRC. Beautiful property but not attentive like the 1st time. Entertainment was awful but food was good. It's an older crowd so very quiet but some male staff and security made me feel uncomfortable at the beach staring constantly. And why ask if I'm celebrating a special occasion if you're not going to acknowledge my Anniversary. Concierge was really nice to accommodate my room request. There was 1 bartender in particular that made this really cool rainbow shots at the pub but he wouldn't make it for me when I asked the next day. He disregarded us both nights like he didnt want to serve us. I wont go back to SRC maybe another sandals next time.

After paying close to $13k for an 8 night stay (including 3 nights in the overwater bungalows), I am pretty disappointed in the service at Sandals overall. On top of our hotel stay, we also spent close to $4k on excursions, in their gift shop and at the spa (plentiful tips included to staff throughout, even though it is not allowed). I am thankful that the bungalows were pre-booked by other customers and we didn t pay to stay in them the entire time.

During our entire stay, I can say that we had kind service from maybe a total of 3 people- two of which were bartenders. The staff acts like you are an inconvenience, completely ignores you, and is incredibly rude for the most part. Our butler (who is a glorified room service delivery person) TOLD us how much to tip him at the end of our trip.

The food is good at some restaurants, but I haven t had anything that that was a memorable meal.

Most of our best memories have been made on our own, off of the sandals property.

It really put a bad taste in my mouth about Sandals, and Jamaica, which is truly sad.

My wife and I have been to Sandals many times and ...

My wife and I have been to Sandals many times and was married at the Antigua location (Fantastic location BTW). This was the first time at this location and was extremely disappointing. I wouldn't waste your money. If they charged half of what we paid, then I wouldn't even complain. The fact is, Sandals charges a lot of money and claims to have 5-Star awards (its posted everywhere). If that is the case, then stand behind the 5-Stars and the HUGE amount you charge. The property should be run to back up the 5-Stars. If I wanted RIU-Type service, we would have stayed at one of their properties. Their much cheaper and you know what to expect.
Here are the main issues in our opinion:
- The Beach is very tiny and cant imagine if the property was full. It was almost impossible to get a chair. I shouldn't have to wake up at 7am to rush down to the beach to reserve a chair when I pay $3K for 3 nights. My wife and I just rented the private cabana's for 150 a day so we could sit somewhere. We go to places like this for the BEACH and it was very disappointing.
- FOOD Sucks - the only thing that was edible was the Jerk Chicken and pizza. Thank god we were only there for 3 days. We tried the Italian (awful), French (we sent back-awful) and Thai (OK) Remember 5 - Stars and expensive to go there!!! Every time we ordered room service, it took over an hour and was always cold. We had a hamburger one time and the outside was hard. The eggs were wet, runny and cold. We could also never get room service to answer and had to rely on the Concierge service.***there is nothing Gourmet about any of the food we had. Maybe if you compare to a cruise ship.
- Service was sub-par. Half the staff there doesn't even seem to enjoy their job. In fact got attitude from a lot of the staff. We had access to the Concierge service based on the room we booked. They were very nice during check but every time I called, they seemed annoyed.
- The vendors on the kayaks are annoying and relentless - not very relaxing
- We had a nice room w/ great view - The chairs they gave you on the balcony were terrible. Small and unconformable. You would expect some nice lounge chairs for what you pay
- The Drinks were awful - nobody can make a real drink there. Some of the frozen drinks and the beer was ok. Again, 5-Star and expensive. We expected a lot more for what we paid.

Some positive:
- The Thai restaurant on their Island was nice. Food was better and we actually got to finish a meal - still not 5 Star
- We got a couples massage they were very good - those were 5- Star (highlight of trip)
- The room was nice - decent bed and the room stayed cool
- The location of the room we had offered nice views
- BMW pick up service to/from airport - worth it

Were not sure what has happened to Sandals but their service has been declining. They shouldn't claim to be a 5 Star Luxury resort and charge what they do. This was the 2nd bad experience we have had and have no intention of every going back. There are plenty of other places to spend the money they charge and receive a lot more in return. Buyer beware !

We have stayed at the resort for 6 nights at the Windsor beachfront. It was amazing. The views, service and rooms was amazing. WE would recommend it if you are looking to relax and have some quiet time.

It took approximately 5 minutes for someone to ack...

It took approximately 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me upon arrival. My husband drove up to the lobby so that I could exit the vehicle, but we were being rushed to get out of the way since a bus was behind us to pick up some other Guests. We had to hurry out the vehicle, took out our luggage ourselves and while he went to park the van I stood there waiting with the luggage and NO ONE came to acknowledge me, NO ONE offered to assist with the luggage for that 5 minutes, approximately, AND what made it worse is that staff were standing around. It was one little Miss, I don't remember her name, who came with her clipboard to ask if I was leaving and upon hearing that it was the other way around jumped into action and offered to assist we the check-in process. When my husband parked the van and came back we walked inside the lobby and no one offered to assist us with the luggage and again Bell Men and other personnel were in our immediate vicinity. You can imagine that this just set the tone for not liking this hotel, but I was determined not to let this experience spoil our trip as it was our 1st wedding anniversary. We had stayed at Sandals Montego Bay for our honeymoon and decided to try another property under the brand for our anniversary. I'm now of the view that we should have gone back there.

This property needs to do some training on customer service so that it's consistent throughout the property.

On a good note and why I rated this property a 3 and not a 2 was that the little Miss with her clipboard tried very hard after we got inside to be friendly and answered all our check-in questions, offered us cold towels and checked to see if our room was ready since we were early for check-in. This type of response followed us with Bellman we got to escort us to our room and again with the Regency Restaurant staff when we went for lunch.

So my advice is that they work on making EVERY guests feel welcome from the drop off point even if they did not arrive in a big Shuttle Bus. Staff needs to be a lot more observant and attentive to Guests in order to be at the ready to offer service, anticipate Guests needs, it goes a far way. So management may need to look at what THEY need to do to get their staff to start being consistent in this regard.

The service and staff are beyond amazing! We got married there and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The resort is beautiful! They keep it clean and neat, you really feel like royalty when you're there. We had a club elite room with concierge service and driven to and from the resort in a BMW! And we used club mobay to arrive and depart at the airport, I highly reccomend! The beach there is beautiful and they keep it clean also. The bartenders are awesome and funny! They will keep you entertained and make you delicious drinks. Can't wait to come back in the future!

Let's start out with the positives; the wedding department was SPECTACULAR!!! Tannif and her staff did an amazing job. Syan, aka "Johnny Bravo" took some fantastic pictures that showcased our wedding beautifully. We utilized the butler service while on resort. Monique and Shanna Kay were very through, respectful, and helpful. I highly suggest utilizing the service.

The food at the resort was delicious and the entire staff was extremely friendly. The entertainment staff of Bubbles, Elmo and the others did their best to make the evening festivities enjoyable. None of the above mentioned is the reason for a 3-Star review and without them, it would probably have been a 2-Star or worse.

Now, for the not so positives; upon arrival you will notice the demolition of one of the older buildings. While we understand there is never a good time for this to take place, there is never a good time for this to take place with the facilities open. There was constant banging and jackhammering all day long, which ruined the tranquility and relaxation. We go on vacation to escape these sounds, not have them the entire time we are trying to relax.

If you want to hang out on the beach or around the pool, be sure to get up at 6am and stake out your spot. By 8am, there won't be many places left and the ones that are will have you without an escape from the sun, which will bake you quickly.

Lastly, if you want to do the provided events (snorkeling, diving, etc), you have to sign up a day in advance or you won't get a spot. As for both, there wasn't much to see on the reef, so doing these events is merely to enjoy the beautiful water.

Also, WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT CHOOSE SPRINT AIRLINES FOR YOUR TRANSPORTATION. You can find my review on them and read about that fiasco if you wish.

All and all, this was a good experience but I have to reiterate that the reason it was is because of the staff. Had it not been for their efforts, it would not have been.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Oral Carribean for half of my week stay at Sandals. Out of Montego Bay & the Royal Carribean, I absolutely love the RC because of the private island. It's a fairly compact resort, everythiing is easy to find and the location was great. Compared to Montego Bay you couldn't hear the planes unlike to Montego Bay, I had to stop talking whenever I was engaged in a conversation because you couldn't even gear you partner, it was that loud but that didn't prevent ups from having a good time, infsct, the planes didn't bother us.

They're many good restaurants in RC but it's best to book your restaurants right away or alwsys read their newsletters, I can't remember what the 2 page newsletter was called but it'll probably come to mind as soon as I'm finished. Oh, its called footprints and it'll tell you the dress code , the hours and I'm pretty sure the Curima is closed once a week, I believe Tuesdays

The people on the island are superb, its been my 5th stay in Jamaica snd it's the people that make me return, they're so mild tempered, kind snd gracious.

Well, the only Sandals I haven't visited in Jamaica snd I'll be going to Negril. I hope Negril is paradise.just like the other resorts. I'd certainly recommend my friends and family the evety resort in Jamaica in Sandals name, I believe they go over and beyond to make your stays comfortable. Erie!

This is a decent resort but with very little good ...

This is a decent resort but with very little good food to choose from. We had breakfast today at the French restaurant, only choice other than the buffet, it was really bad. If I were
I m the states I would have walked out, but we were desperate for a breakfast change. We arrived at 9: 30 am to a sparsely seated room.

We ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict with hash browns , pastry basket and the French toast with bacon. Coffee, water and great fruit mimosas.

First for some reason the restaurant staff are not friendly, blank faces and tone. Though there were as many staff as guests we waited a while to order. About 30 minutes after ordering it had to get up to fill my own coffee and asked why such a long wait. We had not even received our starters (pastries the same as every morning from the buffet). No expaination other than made to you order takes a long time. Our neighbors said the wait would be at least 50 minutes. WHAT???? After complaining our entire order arrived. Salmon Benedict cold , poor sauce and seem like it had been sitting. French toast was bread rolled
In cornflakes and not too warm. Orange syrup flavorless, I had no fork and still no coffee poured. So frustrating for the price!

We went in August of 2019 with another couple we had a wonderful time. Overall the staff was great, the property was gorgeous. Some of the rooms could use an update, the planes and construction didn t bother us at all. The entertainment was great, and we did a lot of excursions. We loved that we could us the other resort also. As a manager over fresh for Walmart for the last 5 years I know customer service. I have also worked in food and beverage for over 30 years as a executive chef for hotels and restaurants I have a good understanding of what it takes to do what you do everyday. Naturally I wanted to try all the food in booth resorts, and some local places. We got through most of the restaurant s in our 7 day stay, and had some local food on our excursions. The food over all is great. I wouldn t say 5 star but it could be with a little tweaking. Our favorite part of the resort was the more laid back atmosphere compared to Montego Bay, and the private beach. They should have one on every Sandals resort. We enjoyed our stay so much we are coming back the week of Fourth of July for our 10 year wedding anniversary. With the whole COVID-19 thing going on they offered to send us to another resort because they couldn t keep out original reservation. We declined and moved our stay up a couple days to stay at the Royal Caribbean, because we enjoyed it so much.

I don't leave many reviews anywhere but I must! I ...

I don't leave many reviews anywhere but I must! I made a significant vacation investment booking this resort for my husband's 60th birthday. I booked a Royal Beachfront Butler Suite. Please review the brochure photos and the actual photos from our stay. First, the room was NOTHING like the brochure photos I used to book my room. White walls in need of paint and cleaning, not a decorative pillow in sight, ordinary finishings. I have stayed at better Ramada Inn hotels. The sofa was filthy. Check out the brochure photos of the beachfront. Reality, NOT! There are no chairs on the beach. The chairs are on compacted sand above a stone wall. Completely deceptive. The Butler service was OK, nothing over the top and I would never pay for it again. Now here is my story. I booked this trip for a very special occasion 9 months in advance. It cost more than $3,000 for 3 nights. When we arrived our Butler took us to our ground floor room and in our excitement to arrive and my husband's total surprise we were blown away by the oceanfront view and blue sea. It wasn't on my mind to carefully inspect the room and compare to the brochure. It was only on the second day when I noticed the filthy sofa and started looking around, keeping my thoughts to myself so as to not upset my husband on this special trip. (If I had told him how much I paid and that I was unhappy with the room he would have been VERY upset and it would have ruined our trip.) On the third and last day I decided to take photos and to compare to the brochure when we were on the way home. What a surprise that was! I immediately messaged my travel agent and shared the actual photos. I did not bring this up with them while we were there because like I already mentioned it was already the 2nd of three days when I started noticing the lack luxury finishes, I didn't want to upset my husband when we were celebrating and the Butler told us upon arrival the hotel was full! My travel agent brought up our issue with Sandals and while they credited our account with a $350 credit for our next stay (won't be happening) their response just blew me away. Complete and utter lack of accountability even after seeing the photos. "Yes, some of our rooms are older, lots of guests love that block of rooms, we have guests requesting that block....they said absolutely nothing about the obvious contained in the photos. It is for THAT reason alone we will never visit Sandals again. I am also contacting the State of Florida about truth in advertising and forwarding my same photos. This is just ridiculous. Be warned!

We stayed at this resort this past weekend. The food and service were top notch. While the rooms were expensive, we felt like they were worth it. Thanks to the room staff for helping us to celebrate our anniversary. The cake was a nice touch! If you come here, be sure to check out the island and the "Jerk Shack". The jerk chicken and pork were incredible.

Over priced, complete waste of money, I will never vacation at a sandals resort again. The Butlers we're rude and didn't always answer their phones, rooms we're dirty and had little to no privacy. The over the water bungalow was the reason we chose the resort and it was infested with ants that the sandals staff couldn't remove and had to constantly throw out our food and drinks. The GM interrupted our dinner and didn't apologize about the ants. It was a horrible honeymoon experience and would never recommend staying at Sandals Royal Caribbean.

We have been going to Sandals for over 10 years and I guess we were spoiled with all the wonderful food and service we have been given over the years and the reason we kept going back.
This trip to Royal Caribbean was nothing like we expected. Service was not the best, the private island is over rated, the beach was cramped and small, restaurants were over booked, and the food has seemed to change.
We booked a butler room not because we wanted or needed a butler - there was a discounted promotion at the time of booking so we went with it. Reservations could not be made for any restaurant we wanted to go to during our stay which made dinner stressful each night. When we did get a reservation that we made ourselves at Butch s at Sandals Montego Bay our husbands were told before we sat down that they needed pants not dress shorts so they had to go and change, meanwhile men were sitting with backward baseball caps with sunglasses in what is supposed to be fine dining/appropriate attire Really!! Maybe the policy should be rethinked and reversed.
When leaving we had a late flight and asked if there was a hospitality room available to use before we left to shower and were told they would not know if anything would be available until that day. Come on they-don t know how many guests they are expecting each day and how many rooms will be filled. Meanwhile other couples who did not have a butler were given a room with no problem to shower.
Sorry for this review but had to vent.

Loved the location everybody was friendly and accommodating. Had the best vacation ever. Had a room with a butler, Kemar and Ian were both extraordinary. We also had our photo shoot with Roderick and are very pleased with the photos. We highly recommend the French restaurant "Le Jardinier". Ask for the French onion soup and prepare for your taste buds to be excited. The food was exquisite. My other favorite was Cricketers Pub. The cottage pie which is equivalent to shepard's pie was favorable and filling. I loved the savory roasted chicken, that was cooked to perfection. The staffs were very friendly and attentive in every restaurant we visited on this resort. We also booked the candlelight dinner and had the pleasure of eating in the gazebo over the water. The gift shop had many items of interest and was reasonably priced and the staff was a pleasure to talk to and very helpful. From the maintenance department to the front desk staff, "everyone" made you feel at home and were pleasant, friendly, sociable and helpful. The rooms were taken care of multiple times during the day so they were always spotless. It's a relaxing environment in a gorgeous setting, you can't go wrong. We booked our next trip onsite and are planning to renew our vows here. On site booking saves you even more money. We didn't want to leave and you won't either.

We are very disappointed in the way sandals has handeled reopening in the wake of covid. The resort is clean and all the staff are wearing face coverings so that fine but you can no longer visit the sandals Montego Bay resort. I understand this was a requirement by the Jamaican government, and that s fine, but sandals never notified us of the change. We booked this trip two years ago while staying at another sandals and a big selling point about this resort was the fact that you can get to the other resort for food, this more than doubling the food options. We were really looking forward to a lot of the food at the other resort, sushi as well as pastries from the snack place, and now that s not available to us. Sandals should have notified us as soon as they were aware of this change so we could reevaluate and possibly reschedule. Instead here we are paying full price for a trip and getting a mediocre experience at best. Before we left I call customer service to complain and talked to a manager who said she d call the resort and see if anything can be done and no has said anything about it, no apologies or anything so I really doubt the manager called. It s really disheartening, we re two days into a week long trip and it just feels like no one cares.

If you have a trio booked I would highly recommend rescheduling, you re spending a lot of money and losing a ton of value only to have apathetic customer service.

We really like sandals but this is just the worst customer service.

The cool feature here is the little island you can go to for some jerk chicken during the day and Thai restaurant for dinner. The main area is just ok with the gym needing new machines and the food average at best. It s ok resort better for older quieter crowd. There doesn t seem enough room or things to do here. I also found it least friendly of the 3 for the cost.
