After multiple issues with our 2015 Tahoe the folks at Boyd worked with Chervrolet Corporate and negotiated a favorable deal on a new 2018 Tahoe. After owning 6 previous Tahoe's since 1995 the 2015 Tahoe left me very disappointed , however, Chris Taggart our sales rep was very attentive and resourceful in finding the right combination of vehicle and price points to make the exchange a pleasant experience. We were in town on a business trip when our Chevy box truck broke down. Needing to get down the road, we explained the sutuation and asked if they could at least diagnose the problem the same day. Completely unwilling to assist us, they wouldn't agree to look at it for two more days. Same thing happened at another nearby dealer. Luckily, a dealer in Arden was kind enough to help us out.

We recently bought a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban from Boyd Chevrolet in Hendersonville NC and our salesman Ed Murdoch was easy to work with and treated us like family.
We went there to see a 2009 used Suburban with 169,000 miles on it and it wasn t available so he shows us a 2018 and as we talked about it we found that it wouldn t do the job that we wanted it to do. Ed was great about being up front with everything. So we talked about the 6.2 and 10 speed transmission but it wasn t available in the older Suburbans. We thanked Ed and went home and I couldn t help thinking about the Suburban, I went to the internet to check on the 2019 Suburban and found that it was going to be available with the 6.2 and the 10 speed transmission. I called Ed and told him about it and asked him to check on it for us. We made arrangements to Drive a truck that he had showed us a couple of days earlier. When we showed up Saturday morning to our surprise there sat an Absolutely Gorgeous 2019 Black Suburban with the 6.2 and everything we needed in the Suburban. Needless to say we had to take it home with us.
Ed Murdoch was really good to us and I know that he will be there for us when ever we need him.

Well I called at 12:35 on sat the guy said come one down there open. I arrived at 12:50 and they said they closed and wouldn't sell me a part, there was no one to cash out. This place is a joke, worst customers service!

My daughter was having service with Valvoline in Ashville and paying 70.00 for oil change etc due to special oil and filter needed on 2016 Chev6 Sonic. Dealer charged 48.00 + tax. Don't always think dealer is more, not true. Fast too.

My 09 Silverado broke a linkage cable yesterday keeping it from going into gear. I called Boyd Chevrolet and i spoke with Oscar around 1:30 pm. He recommended a local tow company and my truck was on a flatbed by 2 pm and at the dealer by 2:30 pm. Needless to say, i was on my way before 5 pm. I will continue to trade with Boyd no doubt!!!

TLDR: They don't stand by the cars they sell, and neither should you.
I purchased a used car from here 05/01/2020, ended up leaving the dealership around 6, 6:30pm with my 2016 Ford Focus, just under 80k miles. I drove home, 33 miles away, and drove 12 miles to work the next day. Leaving work at 3pm, the check engine light came on.
I had split payment up over two days - about a third on the spot and the rest on Monday. EVEN WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON THAT QUICKLY, I STILL STOOD BY MY AGREEMENT AND PAID.
I called the dealership. They told me service dept was closed, asked who my salesman was. It was Mark Brown who was 'off celebrating his anniversary', told me to call back Monday. Called back Monday, they gave me a Tuesday appointment. On Tuesday, at my appointment, they told me it was an evaporation leak that wasn't a safety issue, and asked me to take it to a Ford dealership to get advice for handling it, gave me his card (Steven) and told me to call back.
I was busy with work, so the soonest I could go to the Ford dealership near me was today, 05/19/2020. The service rep there was great, told me in detail about the codes from the check engine light, and what it was going to cost to have them fixed.
On calling Steve, I was told I needed to speak to the sales managers about it, because the purge valve and the catalytic converter that was clogged (because of the leaking valve) wasn't covered by the powertrain warranty. So he put me through to Mikey.
Keeping in mind that this was an issue LESS THAN 24 HOURS after I left their lot, Mikey told me they would cover the purge valve, but wouldn't do anything about the catalytic converter. Ford priced me at $1500 to fix that, but an estimate at a nearby muffler shop got me down to about $400 for a fix.
But that doesn't matter. Because they sold it AS IS, and because I didn't pay for an extended warranty, Boyd Chervrolet Cadillac Buick doesn't care. I regret buying here. I will be telling everybody I know in this area not to shop used here. I will instead be recommending the Ford dealership that would have had the decency to cover something that happened THE NEXT DAY, that was very likely becoming a problem before that day. They don't stand by the cars they sell, and neither should you.

We drove in looking for a Cadillac SUV similar to our SRX. After looking at a couple of LOCKED used SUVs, a salesman came to "help". We asked if there were more Cadillac SUVs and he replied "NO". We drove around the lot and to our surprise XT4, 5 AND 6 SUV type Cadillacs appeared, also locked. Again we got out and looked. And here came a new salesman who was very professional and personable- dragging behind was the original "salesman"...afraid of loosing a sale, I guess. We left, offended and disappointed with the attitude. Will not be returning! VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Soon after leaving got a text, "sorry we missed you!"
RECEIVED A MUCH WARMER WELCOME IN SPARTANBURG AT WAKEFIELD CADILLAC WHERE we found unlocked XT4s and a very helpful sales lady.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I had to bring my van in for a service recall. The service department staff was so friendly when making the appointment. When I arrive the morning of the appointment with the 3 young kids in tow they got my van right in. They have a wonderful waiting room for kids with toys. My kids actually didn't want to leave. The staff helped me out to the car with my children and all their belongings. I highly recommend Boyd Chevrolet. We will definitely be back! It took 8 days for the service team to start working on my vehicle. I picked it up on the 11th day, within 8 hrs of driving the check engine light came on and the motor is hesitating and acting sluggish. After calling the service dept about getting it back in to be looked at I was informed it would be 10 days before they could get it in. It s my first Chevrolet truck that I ve made 5 payments on and I m having to limp it around town so it won t leave me stranded again. It s hard for me to run my company when I don t have a truck to drive. All of this at 60k miles.
