Not my first time here. I love the resort as its smaller and more intimate than their other properties. French restaurant is the best. Make sure you go to the private island its worth it. If you want to go into the downtown area there is a bus stop right outside. The fare is $1.25 compared to a cab which will cost you $25. High tea at 4pm is not bad and the piano bar is fun at night.

This is the third Sandals resort I ve visited. The facility is very aged. The rooms are three star. The service is three star and some genius decided that all the Butler rooms should be over the party pool. There is a DJ just outside all day long, and loud music all night. Basically the whole place is a huge frat party all day and night. If you re twenty something and looking for a 24 hour party, this is for you. If you re an adult looking for a nice resort vacation stay well away. Try Sandals St. Lucia.

All I have to say about the vacation is that I wish it didnt end so soon! We started our vacation with hurricane Dorian right by our heels and despite of that the staff made sure our stay was comfortable. The people on the concierge team including Uno, Ashanti and other were always there to answer our questions and assuage our concerns. Though the resort was functioning in a limited capacity when we first arrived, the staff got it back to fully functional in 3 days!

The servers, bartender and other entertainers are such hardworking people , you can help but feel pampered. We would to acknowledge how much fun we had at the bar- the bartenders Sophia, Kiki and Trevor were a hoot to hang out with! There are so many things to do from a sing-along at the piano bar to snorkeling at the private island- you never run out of doing things. The food is delicious and plentiful, the drinks keep flowing and the fun the never ends!

Beautiful property. The water is so blue. Lots of fun activities or the quiet pool when you want to relax. The food is really good but make reservations as soon as you arrive (at all 3 restaurants that require them) the other 7 restaurants are not needed. My husband forgot his medication in the nightstand when we left and we didn't realize it until less than an hour before our flight. The nice Delta airlines agent (wish I would have gotten her name) called Sandals and Ms Que actually delivered it to the airport! Over and above the call of duty. Made us so appreciate the whole trip even more.

Are you looking to go to the hospital in a foreign...

Are you looking to go to the hospital in a foreign country? Do you have any food allergies that make you ill? Do you want to spend money on this resort just for them to send you to the hospital? Then you are looking for the right place.

We got to the resort and notified the resort a severe food allergy, the food staff was notified ahead of time, and an email was sent to the "culinary concierge" ahead of time that is supposed to handle all dietary restrictions. The culinary concierge had no idea we had any food allergies when we got to the resort and talked to them. This should have been the first red flag that this resort is careless with the health of the residents.

Within 3 hours of being at the resort, we were served food contaminated with the allergen my fiancee is allergic to. I know for certain they contaminated his food because he does not have airborne allergic reactions even though that's the reason the resort won't pay the 5k hospital bill. He only has severe allergic reactions when his food is contaminated by somebody not handling the food properly. I ended up arguing with the woman who supposedly "watched his food the whole time it was being made and there was no contamination" because my fiance could not stop violently throwing up the food they served him.

We ended up getting an ambulance to go to the hospital for his allergy because he was so sick he couldn't get off the floor. They treated him with antihistamines (which you use to treat allergies) and epinephrine (which you also use to treat allergies). He felt great the next day after being treated at the hospital for his food allergy that the resort caused. He refused to eat their food for the rest of the trip because we were not going to go to the hospital again from their negligence. He didn't have another allergic reaction because he did not eat their food again. That is a sad way to spend an "all inclusive resort" vacation by not being able to eat the food at the resort because they almost killed you.

Now it's one month later after we were told by management the allergy was "airborne" and it is not their fault. We payed the hospital out of pocket because they needed payment and the resort would "do an investigation" so I had to cover the cost the night we went to the hospital.

Anyone with a life-threatening food allergy SHOULD NOT come here. They are careless with their food and frankly their food isn't better than the buffet at a cheap hotel. Please listen to the actual reviews of people who have stayed at the hotel and not whatever damage control the marketing person is going to respond to this review with because this is ridiculous. Food allergies are serious and this resort will kill someone. Also, the hospital is a 15 minute drive in an ambulance so even with an epipen you may not make it to the hospital alive.

We went there for our honeymoon. This resort has flooded with couples only so the environment is really romantic and nice. It s all inclusive. The food is really nice. Baccarat is the best among all. You need to wait to get seated. They have activities like DJ, Play a song with piano and games. We enjoyed tennis practice a lot.

My wife and I just got married on the resort at the angel pavilion right beside the beach, in between the Windsor tower and the Balmoral tower on May 25, 2016. We stayed in room 1135, a Crystal Lagoon Swim Up Zen Butler Suite. Cecilya, Melanie, and Latoya were our butlers. LaKeisha was our wedding planner. LaKeisha is absolutely fantastic!! The entire wedding team is incredible. They really know what they're doing. Tanagra was our wedding captain. She was amazing as well. I could never say enough nice things about the wedding. The staff takes care of absolutely everything. It is impossible to feel confused or forget anything with this wedding team. They are organized, precise, and efficient. They went out of their way to ensure our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. The photographer, Shavon and videographer, Ray were amazing also. We got our pictures within 48 hours and our blu ray quality video within 1 week, edited and everything. We couldn't be happier with the photos or the video. Spend the extra money. We bought a $2000 package that included 42 prints and an edited video. And I'm telling you, you get every pennys worth of your money. The butlers were great but not our thing. If you want beach chairs reserved, dinner reservations guaranteed, and cool towel animals on your bed then spemd the money. The resort is beautiful and immaculately kept. If you're not married yet, get married here. Trust me.

If you go on a cruise and want a day pass for this hotel, call first before you go. When we got to Sandals in Bahamas, the person at the gate told us that the director of the hotel told her that they didn t offer day pass; however, the website says that they do.. It was very disappointing getting there to hear that we have to go somewhere else to spend the day..

This place was awesome. The water was beautiful and the sand was always well maintained. The rooms were very nice with a comfortable mattress and soft sheets. We had an issue with our A/C making a lot of noise. It took two calls to the concierge to get fixed but it did get fixed.
The food was good at all the restaurants we dined. One word of advice is if you want to go to the Japanese restaurant, make your reservation a few weeks before you go. If you don't, you won't get in.

We went for Labor Day weekend and luckily just got out in time to miss hurricane Dorian. Thencheck in process was a breeze!

We rented a car and didn't know they didn't have a separate parking lot for our car. Luckily there is a small parking lot in the front of the resort for the spa and they let us park there. We even had a bellman rush down the long driveway to help us with our luggage. It was very friendly and our check in process was quick and smooth.

Because the storm was heading in we weren't able to take advantage of dining on the pier or going to the private island. But you can't predict Mother Nature and it was not the resorts fault. We did take plenty of advantage of the "quiet pool" with swim up bar. The entire staff was beyond welcoming and attentive.

Plenty of choices in restaurants and good food to eat. Overall we had an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this resort to those visiting Nassau!

(Day Pass) Got to front Parking Gate, they made us wait 25 minutes to allow us to go into the resort and after waiting they told us they were not accepting Day Passes. Yes....they made us wait 25 minutes to then tell us they couldn't let us in. Also called the Resort and they offered no resolution and were very rude to the matter. Like they didn't care if we were customers or not! Very Dissatisfied and Dissapointed. If I could give them a zero, I would. Horrible experience!

The food is absolutely atrocious and I wouldn't come back solely for that. Otherwise, it's nice that it's adults only and drinks and everything are included so you don't need to worry about paying. The island is nice but it can be a little backed up and time consuming getting there.

Service was pretty good, food was just ok, the bed was hard, the beach is very small and not very clean. It was all inclusive and the bar staff and playmakers were a lot of fun. Worth the visit and we had a great time though.

The resort is located on the north shore of the island, on cable beach, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the resort itself is a big spot packed into a small area, service lacks a great deal only because the overworked staff is trying to accommodate all the guests at the same time, even ordering drinks by the pool side takes an average of 30minutes, not a returning visit to this location.

Stay here for our honeymoon in early August of 2015

pro: beautiful grounds, pool and island absolutely stunning, food was good, rooms where great, room service is good

Cons: their offer on website about extra attention to our honeymoon are false, they did nothing, their offer to about extra attention on birthday are false( waste of time filling out special occasion form on their website, big waste of time), staff are very stiff, a-la-carte completely booked before we had any chance, wifi issues whole trip, day trip lady very angry so no booking day trip, lineups at front desk, lineup at restaurants, lots of lineups lol, complaint email to GM of resort was ignored or forgotten as the was no reply or recognition

My suggestion is to save your money and go to Rui or another competitor.....If your paying the premium sandals asked for and they don't deliver then your money will be better spend elsewhere IMO

Cheers and happy vacationing!!

Sandals never lets you down! Beautiful resort with imposing structures in Greek-Roman style. Lots of dining options (Italian, French, English ...) excellent cuisine at the restaurant on the pier, many bars whose cocktails are the best drunk in the Caribbean (Dirty Banana delicious). Bar Room stocked. The pride of the off-shore islets reached by boat in 5 minutes where there are palms hammocks white beaches and fantastic crystal clear waters and excellent for snorkling (1 restaurant 1 bar and spa). An unforgettable honeymoon.

We had a absolutely wonderful time. The staff so nice and welcoming. The resort was beautiful. All you can eat food. Great entertainment. Awesome water sports. And to top it off, the private island was amazing. We enjoyed a couples massage and private candle lit dinner on the beach. When we went back to our room, we have rose petals on the floor and our bed, chocolate covered fruit, and a bottle of champagne. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful resort. Very nice private island. Very relaxing. I have been to two other sandals more than once. I felt they could have used local fish resources more in their food offerings. Too much pork! Rebooking.

The bed didn't have a box spring only a mattress. The springs hit my back and I could't sleep everyone was drunk and it smelled like a dirty bar outside. The dresser was broken and the food taste terrible. Seriously , it felt like I was on a cruise boat but A low class one . The people staying here seem to have nothing to do but get drunk. There isn't much entertainment here. We were provided with a butler for our room in which the butler acted like a maid and wouldn't do anything for us nor answer our calls. We went out to eat twice so far. The lobster was over cook I asked for a new one it was over cooked again. The next night the food they delivered a cheese platter the cheeses was moldy and our breakfast is late as we speak. The people working here are very unfriendly and rude they treat you like a second class citizen . The FOOD SUCKS!!!! they charge a lot 3k for this room for only 4 days the service was very very bad the bed sucked , food was bad only thing good was the atmosphere. the atmosphere is very romantic and the view outside is very nice. They did not provide wash clothes we had to ask for them it's like you have to keep on their behinds to do things. They don't really care here. its one bid drunk fest outside it didn't feel clean here it felt like spring break for the old and young. I can't believe they're good reviews for the place i am like really??????? if you want to get drunk for free don't care about quality food or privacy if you don't care about a nice bed to sleep in this place is perfect

**PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING A TRIP** Me and my wife booked a 7 Day trip with Sandals in the Bahamas and it was by far the worst vacation I ve ever been on. When we first walked into our room the first thing we saw was poop in our toilet. If that was our only issue I would have let this slide but I can write a book of all the problems that occurred. Here are a few; three different times at three different restaurants at the resort me and my wife ordered food where the waiter or waitress disappeared and our food never came. Other times there was disgustingly long waits, there where times where only part of our orders came out, or the food was over cooked or under cooked. Some staff was nice but then there was staff that was very rude. For instance my wife ordered a chicken dish and fish came out, her absolutely hating seafood sent the food back and the waiter caught an attitude. Aside from the crappy service at the restaurants, the pool bars where filled with bees, going into blenders and into drinks and the bar tenders had no problem serving them anyway.
What really is getting on my nerves is that there was an alarm going off right next to our room one of the nights we were there. From about 11:30pm-7:00 am. We called the front desk, ran around looking for management and we were shrugged off as if we were being annoying. A normal resort would have updated a guests room and comp them for a night or two. They didn t do anything for us but eventually take $50 off the bill after continually complaining. A vacation I spent about $6000 on, this is an insulting way to try and rectify the situation. We couldn t even enjoy the next day because we were so tired from not getting any sleep. I have discussed this all to management there and they sent me to another area to speak to other staff which was just more waste of my vacation time I paid for. All they tried to do was get me to book another vacation and spend more money. Then seeing how dissatisfied I was told me to go through my travel agent to handle it. My travel agent told me Sandals refused to do anything but offer points for another trip. I called Sandals corporate myself and they refused to compensate me in any way but to give me points which only add up to about $300 towards my next trip. This to me is not resolving the issue. This is a method of paying for another over priced vacation with crappy service. I paid for what was supposed to be relaxation and exquisite service and I did not receive either. Normally when someone pays for something and what they got was not what they paid for they are due a refund. They refuse to do the right thing.

If you are thinking about booking a stay in the Bahamas and are looking for a nice romantic getaway, this is the place to go! The resort is beautiful, the staff is awesome, and there is plenty to do. No kids running around screaming, no crazy spring breakers, just a nice relaxing atmosphere. I'm already booking our second trip!

4 stars for thd propery and staff. Property was well appointed and maintained. Really enjoyed the private island. 3 stars for the food. It was very bland and the quality was mediocre. Can't comment on the rooms as we visited for a day pass. Tip if you want a day pass call ahead the day of. The day pass is from 10 am to 6 pm and was 140 pp. Make sure you have photo ID as it will be required .

Fantastic. We went on our honeymoon. Beautiful place. Sea beautiful as in the pictures. Great variety of restaurants and bars. Breakfast truly unforgettable. Great fun even in the evening with parties and entertainment. Beautiful bar inside the pool where you can get also water while swimming. Rooms amazing and also great variety in the mini bar. Cost quite content. Very nice staf members. Nice little shop for souvenirs and photos.

We paid top dollar, ocean front with butler service. Our Butler's were pretty much non existant until we complained and then they were only on the ball when our last day came, probably looking for their tip.
The food was just ok, have had better , we had two decent dinners. The resort is very dated , the room besides the view was just an ordinary room nothing special considering the price you paid. The private island we couldn't get to because the seas were to rough a couple of days, not their fault.. overall not impressed would not stay here or recomend anyone staying here!!!

Service is great and a good place to come away for a few days of sun and to just lie by the beach. Luckily it didn't have much damage from Dorian. Hope recovery for the other islands goes speedily and smoothly. Sending love to all those who are facing the aftermath of Dorian.

We went here for our honeymoon and were disappointed with the room. It was quite outdated and obviously poorly constructed or updated. There were teeny tiny "ants" all over the place, which we did mention to housekeeping and they were good about taking care of it immediately but the room smelled like pesticide afterward. Our view overlooked the party pool (which was disgusting and cloudy), so we weren't thrilled when we got there... Needless to say we didn't spend much time in the room. But the beaches were really clean and quiet and the water was wonderful! The other pools were also clean and much quieter. And the food was really good!! Thankfully! The staff was great and the Bahamian people are amazing and friendly and so incredibly welcoming! We paid A TON of money for this trip and if we had paid half of what we did I'd give the place 5 stars but for the money we spent it just wasn't worth it.

Worst vacation of my LIFE. Born and raised in Germany, resident of the USA. I am a true globe trotter and love to travel. Booked a vacation to Nassau, Sandals Bahamian Resort for two. My partner had an emergency on the day of flight and could not fly or attend the $4500 trip. I arrived at the resort just to be told that I would not be allowed to stay because my partner was a no show. Options : I can find other accommodations or fly back home. Of course I would have to figure all this out myself. They offered me credit for a future stay at a Sandals Resort...I would never book an other vacation with Sandals anything, anywhere, ever...good luck.
Follow Up: Delta Vacations, who I booked my trip through, helped me find other accommodations NOT Sandals as they claim. Sandals was less than helpful. Sandals was blunt, rude and did not show any compassion towards my situation. They expect me to make a call while I am sitting in the plane and explain my emergency? Unacceptable customer service from the local management team. I was literally kicked out of the Scandals resort!

We had the best time at Sandals. It was relaxing and beautiful. I didn't like the game they play in regards to eating at the better restaurants and purting us in a room at first without a view even though we had paid for one. The beautiful grounds, and private island made up for it.

STAFF: Overall the staff was great, friendly & attentive...or at least eager to help (if they could). We did attempted to get a personal taxi to take us to an appointment in town (there is no regular resort shuttle unfortunately), there was a bit of confusion as to who was to help us arrange that taxi (front desk, bell hop, front gate staff...we were sent to all three and then back again...so...??) From our knowledge, the taxi was never actually arranged, even after speaking with several different groups of people...luckily our appointment ended up being canceled, so the fact that we didn't have a way to get there worked out.

DIVING: We had a great time diving (paying the extra $10 for a wet suit seemed a bit ridiculous considering diving is "included"...but I wouldn't have gone without it as the weather was a bit cooler than I had hoped). Leslie, one of the dive instructors was great, very knowledgeable. I was sad that the day we dove, we didn't get to explore a shipwreck, however, swimming with reef sharks, was very cool. The whole week was very windy, so the boat rides were a bit strenuous, but can't really help that much.

SPA: We did a couple's massage package and honestly it was just someone rubbing oil on my skin for 45 mins. Not really what I would consider a massage. Later in the week I got a "deep relief" massage by Samara which was wonderful. She is highly recommended.
Please note - If you receive Spa Credit, make sure you understand their system and that you will still be covering some fees. Pay attention to your receipts as one of our appointments wasn't entered properly and we had to spend time rectifying the billing issue.

FOOD: Food was decent. Pretty standard resort fair...all a little under-seasoned and over cooked. Figuring out what restaurants were open and when was a bit confusing, and how/where to make reservations wasn't always clear, as we went to our building's front desk and made reservations, the next day we returned to that desk and was sent to another desk instead...not sure why they couldn't/wouldn't make the reservation at the same desk...? Tip - The French place was by far the best food. We follow Football (Soccer) and American Football and found it unfortunate that the Pub wasn't open during the day to watch the different games.

DRINKS: Sugar overload! Most drinks offered are super sweet. I understand that on beach vacations people lean towards the fruity drinks, but the sugar content blows my mind! (And makes me feel ill just thinking about it.) So, just know you can modify your drink order. Request low/no simple-syrup, as well as say "Tito's and soda" instead of just "vodka/soda" as to not just get the well liquor. I ended up drinking more wine options just to better control what I was getting.

ROOM: The room was fine, we had some issues with the AC acting up. Biggest issues however is the bathroom. Be prepared to request lots of extra towels as the shower is not designed well and gets water EVERYWHERE! (I felt very bad for the cleaning staff based on this being an issue throughout the hotel.) Also, like many other hotels, there are not enough closet hangers or hooks in bathroom or otherwise, to place items. The bed I give 5 stars - very comfortable and pillows were great.

OVERALL: Good, but not great. Weather wasn't what we hoped (cooler/very windy/some rain)...but I understand that can't be controlled, but it did unfortunately alter our plans for the week. The facility as a whole was clean and seemed to be running smoothly (I did see a few blips, but we all have our days). We meet some new friends, who we plan to remain in contact with, so that's probably our highlight. I'd give it another chance, but probably won't be returning any time soon...there's a whole world to explore!

My wife and I just honeymooned here in late Septem...

My wife and I just honeymooned here in late September. It was not pleasant. We opted in for an ocean/pool view suite with Butler service. I will start the review by stating that the one positive part of our honeymoon was/were our butler(s). The one butler that we dealt with most was named Stanford. He was the absolute best!! He should be given a raise. The decor in the room is very dated. I expected a separate bathtub from the shower, but its a tub/shower with a curtain. Not very nice for a suite.

First day was ok. Found shoes in the room from previous guests and tub was dirty.

The second day is when it all fell apart. It rained and we went to our room. Housekeeping came by to ask if we wanted our room cleaned. The answer was no, as there was a thunderstorm outside. She said she would come back later when we were at dinner. Perfect. When the rain died down a little, we braved the sprinkles and went to the Spices restaurant for lunch. The worst service ever. The host noticed at the end of our meal that we didn't have drinks. She called the server over and we were only offered water. The server did not look happy to be there and clearly didn't want to provide service to us.

After the rain let up, we went to the pool. We swam up to the pool bar and watched a lady wash dishes for 5 minutes before she asked if we wanted anything. My wife ordered and I was told my drink would take a little longer. Meanwhile other people were being served by the other bartender. We waited another 10 minutes as we watched the same lady wash more dishes and do whatever. She comes back to me and asks what my drink is and the finally proceeded to make it. It's like she purposefully didn't want to serve us. Unreal.

Dinner that night was the french restaurant. What a nightmare. We were told we would get right in after another couple and the wait wouldn't be too long. So, we waited at the bar. We didn't get food until 2 hours later. That is unacceptable to me. Either tell us the truth about how long it was going to take or get us in the restaurant like you told us. We watched other couples get in before us that showed up after us. After dinner we went back to the room only to find that housekeeping never came, and there were ants everywhere in the dining area. Highly unacceptable for a honeymoon.

Day three started better. We rented paddle boards. We then decided to go snorkeling behind the private island provided by Sandals. We got on the boat and dropped off the people trying to get to the island. As we approached the snorkeling area, my wife and i noticed some very large waves. The boat driver continued in the direction of the large waves. As we got closer to them, the driver slowed down and the first one crashed down upon the boat. It was very nerve wracking. However, right after that wave was another wave that was slightly bigger. We were at the exact spot where the wave was cresting and the boat got sideways. I honestly thought the wave would flip the boat and it almost did. The wave crashed down and caused a woman to be ejected from her seat. My toe was sliced open by flying debris in the boat and was bleeding pretty good. The lady that was ejected screwed up her leg pretty good. The other passengers were certainly afraid after that as were we. It was very obvious.

I could go on but it won't let me write more than this. Overall, not at all worth the value for the money we paid. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible service outside of the butlers. Housekeeping was non existent. Food was mostly average.

Out of this world destination. Did our honeymoon there for a week. Staff is excellent. LaRon and Deron the butlers are unstoppable and really help make your experience one of a kind. Butler level suites are mega pricey but entirely worth it if you want the premiere experience at Sandals.

Not worth the cost. Twice we had dinners that lasted over 2 hours due to slow service. One night we left without getting the desert and one night it took us chasing down several servers before we could get our desert. One day at breakfast we ordered our food and after waiting for
for 1.5 hours for a simple breakfast meal, we were informed that the the chef was not familiar with the menu. We left and decided to go hungry until lunch opened. The only reason for 2 stars rather than one is because the waiters were generally pleasant and all of the staff in the pool/bar areas was great.

Maybe the object of this resort is for you to waste enough time that you won't be able to take advantage of the all-inclusive offerings. This was by far my worst experience at an all-inclusive resort.

I just returned from my trip. It was very easy from airport to hotel in 10 minutes accommodated by sandals shuttle bus. We arrived and was welcomed with champagne and snacks. Check in approx. 30 minutes. Spices Restaurant was my favorite for breakfast and lunches buffet style. Large variety of food with the best pastries , Food was fresh each day. Staff is friendly and attentive. The offshore Island was Awesome!!! - very secluded and quiet and also had lunch there at Stew Fish which we enjoyed. Coffee & Drinks aren't the best, however that wasn't important to me. Coffee machine at Lobby - Amazing Cappuccino!. Gordon's on the Pier I expected better. We stayed at the Garden Room , with no butler- Garden Rooms aren't modern like the hotel rooms- but clean and simple.(short 1 minute walk to beach). I had an issue with my spa credit at check out and it was resolved and settled immediately - with no problem. Check out was EASY they held our luggage & provided us with a 15 min hospitality room to shower before our shuttle to airport. which allowed us to enjoy our last hours beaching- being we had a very late delayed airline departure. Overall I had a wonderful time and experience. I definitely will come back .

Our stay was perfect. Our room was beautiful with a great view of the ocean. We loved how big the pools were and how manicured the entire property is. Lets talk about the private island...it's absolutely amazing. There are so many romantic little spots tucked away with a nice pool, hot tub, swim up bar and restaurant.
I cant say that we had a favorite restaurant, because all of the food is incredible.

Our 4 night vacation in early February at Sandals ...

Our 4 night vacation in early February at Sandals Royal Bahamian was overall wonderful and we would recommend to friends. We checked into the Sandals kiosk in the Nassau airport and were promptly escorted to our shuttle. We were greeted with cool towels and champagne upon our arrival at check in. A lovely concierge escorted us to our room, which was a very standard hotel room. For the price we paid, we could have had a better view than the alley next to the hotel. But we were only in the room to change and sleep, so it did not bother us too much, and it was always nice and clean. The food was very delicious at the restaurants you need reservations for (especially Gordons and Kimonos). Everywhere else was pretty good, what you would expect at an all inclusive. The bar drinks that were pre-made were watered down, but if you ordered a drink made on the spot they were usually good. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always cheerful and greeting us. A few staff members I wanted to call out by name are Owen, who was an amazing host for our candlelit dinner, Ludwig who was a wonderful Teppanyaki chef, and Ashantae, my amazing masseuse. The only time we had poor experiences with the staff was around meal times at the non-reservation places. Other than that, a wonderful staff experience. There was a lot of places to relax, and enough activities to keep us occupied for our 5 day vacation. We explored Nassau for one day, and honestly wished we had just stayed on the resort the entire time. It is EXPENSIVE to eat and drink in Nassau, and not worth it if you have already paid for Sandals! So, overall, we had an amazing time at Sandals Royal Bahamian and would go back.

Had the pleasure of visiting the resort for the Annual Bridal Association Conference. We had a remarkable time. 5 star everything. The shuttle service, staff, food, and entertainment was excellent.

Superb vacation, exceptional service, outstanding dining and the facilities are immaculately maintained constantly. If you desire a vacation where you don't have to think and the staff are focused on your enjoyment, try the Sandals experience. We have vacationed at Sandals throughout the Caribbean and each experience has been exceptional! If you find otherwise, let the management know, they will listen and resolve any problem, if it is within their control. Mike out!

I have to say the resort is beautiful, but what made it more special was the service from a young man from the Philippines I believe his name might have been Lumeng? Sorry if I didnt spell it right. But he was amazing he served us at the japanese restaurant. What a pleasure it was to have been in the presents of sucha talented sweet person. Thank you for the amazing show!!! ALSO a shout out to the main bartender he goes by fluffy but I believe his name is Shervin. What an awesome soul and great bartender he definitely works hard and plays a big part in the customer service at this resort, THANK YOU FLUFFY!!

I really wanted to enjoy Sandals Resorts but they just suck! The only way you'll enjoy it is if you just want to drink cheap booze all day / night. I couldn't wait to leave this resort and go downtown.

Between the sickness that spreads in the resort, the sexual assults by employees that happened at Sandals, the tiny tiny beach, the non existent activities, and the restaurants that are always 100% reserved for your entire trip.

Next time, I'm going to stay somewhere more local and explore the country. Maybe the all inclusive resort just wasn't for me. Just seemed like a waste of $$$

The Bahamas are a beautiful place, but Sandals turned what was supposed to be a joyous occasion and vacation into a nightmare.

I have a seafood allergy. Sandals was notified 4 months in advance, reminded one week prior to arrival, and then confirmed again with their "culinary concierge" when I checked in. They confirmed each time that it will not be an issue and that I have nothing to worry about.... yet three hours after check in, 20 minutes into my first meal, and I am in an ambulance going to the hospital.

Sandals was unapologetic, unhelpful, and in general dismissive. The "all-inclusive" was ruined as I no longer felt safe eating on their property. The hospital stay cost me a day of the vacation (thankfully not my life). And the hospital bill has caused financial distress. Sandals latest response was "we are looking into it and will get back".

The Bahamas are worth your visit, Sandals does not deserve your business.

And if you still choose to go here and you have any dietary restrictions DO NOT trust them.

Sandals was overall great. We went on our honeymoon there and we had beautiful beaches with a nice room and great food choices. There were a few flaws though. Our toilet kept on "running" the first 5 days that we were staying there. The maintenance man came the first day and attempted to fix it. So needles to say, I requested that they com back. After not coming, we had no choice but to attempt to fix it ourselves. My hand was in the back of the toilet every time someone had to use the toilet. After complaining 2 more times, someone came to install a new part. It was a minor mess up but after paying what we paid, anything less than perfection is a disappointment.

Do not stay at this place- look at trip advisor and read all there responses to the negative reviews. They don t care people. They offer everyone the same bs line. They also will only offer $300 credit to return. They do not care that your trip sucked and you spent most of your time trying to get a room that wasn t full of bugs. Butler service useless- the marketing department Sandals has is amazing. Hey really do try and sell you something that is so not worth the money. If one person listens it s a good thing. Everyone should do their research. It s a very poorly run place and the food is not good. Left the resort twice to eat somewhere else. Hey if you wanna got to a resort that most staff don t care, it s dated, food quality is low and if you need something done- good luck. Then go and have a crappy time.
I love reading all the negative reviews lately on TA. They are all true. Any season travelled would agree. Take your $300 credit and donate it to a homeless shelter and feed some people. Resort sucks and customer service worst I have ever seen. Once they have your money your nothing to them. Can t wait to see this place eventually close. Garbage

On my honeymoon with my wife and the experience has been wonderful thus far. Butler service is a must to really enjoy the resort. Our butlers make sure everything is taken care of before we arrive. We have the best cabanas reserved for us with towels. Preferred seating at all of the restaurants, and when in doubt we call our butler and they handle the situation for us. Like any customer service industry some of the employees have a bad day but overall everyone has been great.. I had a team of Butlers (Moral, Orlando, & Marcus; all 3 were superb and handled my honeymoon as if I was family. Furthermore they were good people in general, so it made for a pleasant stall all the way around..

Wonderful vacation at the end of October...attended a beautiful intimate garden wedding and reception. Access to the restaurants, pools and bars were easy. Bartenders were attentive and entertaining. My experience at the Japanese restaurant was awesome with the singing chef and the Saxophonist at the Piano bar was superb
