I always come to watch my friends perform, catch some soloist, or simply enjoy a piece I love. I can never seem to find a good seat sound-wise, but from my experience, being up in the middle of the mezzanine is better than being down below.

I wanted a full concert, but instead got an unneeded and unwanted lecture for the first half. Not what I thought I was paying for when I renewed my season tickets package. I want to talk to someone at symphony Hall about this and make sure I'm not in for any more surprises!!

I went to their Rush Hour 2.0 and it was an amazing experience. It was my first time attending anything at the venue.

I look forward to attending more events there. The acoustics were incredible!

Very elegant, and ornate symphony hall. It was built in 1929 and was the largest movie palace on the west coast. We sat on the balcony for their Christmas special presented by the San Diego Symphony and our view was wonderful. They do have a beverage bar if you wanted some beverages and cocktails. Absolutely wonderful evening.

This Hall sounds amazing! On top of it being beautiful. Plenty of concerts to enjoy each season so you can check them out during your visit. If you live in San Diego this is a jewel to be treasured!

While parking really sucks around the Symphony hall they do have valet parking for $25 which is well worth it. I loved the ballet (Swan Lake). The facility clearly needs more women's bathrooms as usual. The seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room however they need to be staggered more so a tall person cannot block your view of whatever you are watching.

My wife and I love going to the Movie Concert Series where they play live orchestra music while you watch a movie. Ratatouille was our favorite. Not to mention the whole hall is very ornate and fascinating to examine while you wait for the show to start.

Every time I go to the symphony my brain tells me to do this more often. I am not a classical musical expert by any means but I appreciate the talent and technique to play the complex pieces. Unfortunately most of the clientele (75% or more) is over the age of 70. The Symphony seems to be actively targeting the younger demographic with crossover genre shows, the renovated cocktail lounge in the Copley Hall lobby and opening of the new farm to table cafe. The symphony in San Diego is some of the best classical music culture going on and a night out at the Copley Hall is a great experience.

Fantastic service, very friendly people and very helpful. It has a Beautiful interior design. Restrooms are clean and decent in size. Seating is numbered and comfy. No cup holders if youre wondering. Wall plugs by the consession stand for a quick charge. Parking spots all over the block too.

Love Love Love culture. Some would call Sam Diego shallow but when you go to this symphony it shows you that San Diego has great culture as well. The seating is great. The shows are great. The staff are knowledgeable. Check out the year pass. It s worth it for locals.

Amazing experience, the interaction with the conductor, the quality of the music, the program were all perfect. In terms of improvements, the acoustics have room to improve. If you are in SD, you must experience the symphony

The San Diego symphony is truly one of San Diego's gems. It's always a great time getting to see the symphony and all the conductors make such beautiful music. My favorite are the movie concerts where they play the music to the movies while you're watching the actual movie on projectors. 10/10, definitely a must visit whether you're a native or tourist.

BE CAREFUL. SDSymphony changed out our Champagne Table seats for row seats at the Diana Ross concert. We met up with many others who, like us, showed up 90 minutes early with picnics in hand to enjoy dinner at our Champagne Tables - only to be hustled into row seats by ushers.
Box Office told us it was our fault -- that we didn't understand the special seating. NO. When you look at a diagram and pick a table, then show up and find yourself squished into a row - that is YOUR fault.
Call the office to check your seats and make sure you are getting what you pay for! Huge rip off.... $300 to see nothing but a TV screen.

Absolutely love the Symphony but my wife and I strongly agree there should be a dress code enforced, at least footwear. We and many others wear ties, slacks and dresses but I continue to see people in jeans, t shirts and worst of all, tennis shoes/converse.

A professional performance hall with a convenient location, who could have guessed that such a good place is hidden in the building! The staff was very helpful and the performances were of high standard. I spent a wonderful and unforgettable night here
