Rafael Payare, the man, the myth, the Legend. He has taken the reigns of the San Diego Symphony, and words can not describe what he has done. For years symphony hall has boasted incredible quality music. It has been a highlight of high culture. But now, Payare has shown us we have been blind... or more accurately deaf... he has taken the our once great Orchestra, and has brought it to a new level of greatness. Quit reading about this, for words which will be read in silence or maybe spoken aloud will not do justice to what amazing music you will hear. Get tickets, your ears, your heart, and your soul will all thank you.

The venue is great and spacious - fun to listen to music in.

Excellent venue for high-quality jazz music. I am a visitor to San Diego and not a resident, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the caliber of jazz performances to be very high.

What is not to love about it? The beautiful architecture, the elegant surroundings.
